Tyler and Tim arrived on time. They introduced themselves and gave an overview of the installation.Their prep work was efficient with little or no disruption. The installation process for furnace and air conditioning units were seamless. Their expertise and the ability to explain the installation was outstanding! Both gentlemen were very engaging and could talk to their customer, me, with ease and explain details in layman terms. Cleanup was excellent. Could not have asked for better technicians! There were two items that needed attention when I had my bi-annual inspection. The parts were delivered and installed promptly the next day. FYI..the company sends you a picture of the repairman so you know who is coming to service your equipment. He was very knowledgeable and explained the problem in terms that were easy to understand. Mark was very thorough in checking furnace, AC and heat pump. He took pictures inside the furnace and checked with Supervisor to double check integrity of furnace. He passed all inspections and (unlike the previous company we had been with for over 20 years) Mark did not try to get us to upgrade or buy a new system. VERY IMPRESSED and thankful for neighbor referral who have had Air Comfort for over 47 years!

So I have been getting my furniture serviced with Air Comfort Services since I purchased my home and I never got the air condition serviced until this past July when I found out my air conditioner was almost 15 years old and on the hottest days in St Louis my house was 82°. I worked with Air Comfort services and they were able to get me a new furnace, air conditioner and new thermostat that I love all within a few days of my itinial service. They offered zero interest payments until paid off and their customer service was amazing. Thank you Air Comfort services

Contacted Air Comfort on Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2022, when my heater stopped working. Air Comfort Services contacted me promptly Monday morning, and arranged a technician to arrive by 9:00 AM to diagnose the furnace issue. The technician (Josh E.) was polite and friendly, and he quickly diagnosed the problem within 20 minutes. He then realized the "upper air/heat limit switch" was still under warranty (only 7 years in use), and he checked on the availability and compatibility of his inventory readily on hand. The faulty part was replaced, including rewiring the furnace blower motor circuit for more effective air flow, across the heater core. "Josh" had everything in proper working order in less than two hours, and I consider him a true professional. Thank you Josh! If there is one thing I like to critique, it is the billing. It is not very specific nor intuitive. Parts, labor, and discounts, are all lumped together, and it is difficult to see which is what! In my case the replacement switch, which was still under warranty (no cost), only shows as one entry: "Warranty Limit Switch" being $156.00 - which is basically labor and the discounted cost of the switch. The "service call" is shown as DIAG(nosis) for $87 which includes a $10 Sr. Citizen discount. Grand Total: $243 was paid!

We have been a customer of Air Comfort at this location for over 30 years. We have always had them perform yearly maintenance and any repairs needed. They recently installed a new furnace and AC unit. They were on time and did a great job! They showed me how to use the new thermostat and were very patient going over the information. I called to have my a/c checked out on 5/17. The tech was here within an hour and he explained everything. Unfortunately the unit was in need of numerous repairs so Kyle put us in to ish with Steve. Steve was here at 0730 on 5/18 and he went through all of our options. He explained that the unit we had in our house was oversized and was probably never working properly. He broke down our 4 best options and we pulled the trigger on buying a new unit for our house. He said they would get us a loaner unit until we can get the new one installed on 5/27. I had purchased the maintenance agreement and I was able to save 5% on the new unit. This all happened within 24 hours of me making the first phone call. That is customer service right there as far as I am concerned. Thank you Air Comfort for helping my family deal with this difficult situation.

He also explained everything so I would understand what was done. Overall, this company doesn't just check your system but is proactive about maintenance. John was nice, but the company does not stand behind his work. He installed a new startup component which is really loud now. Air Comfort won’t return to fix it without an $85 diagnostic fee. I’m switching companies because loyalty to them is not rewarded. Update: the company sent a tech (free) to investigate the noise; it was screws loose that caused the shroud to vibrate. Glad I didn’t get charged $85 to fix loose screws!

We called this company because our current HVAC contractor could not repair our 20 year old system. It took them 4 hrs to diagnose the problem as a circuit card. Then 4 days later they came back out but it was not the circuit card, it was a bad compressor. John came out from Air comfort systems, and in 22 minutes confirmed a bad compressor. John looked at our system and we all agreed the entire system needed to be replaced. They are comming back this Friday to do the work. My wife and I are very impressed with this company, keeping us informed of every step and making sure we are happy. They even installed a temp unit, to keep us cool for 3 days until the install. This is the company we have been looking for, and we plan to be customers for many years to come. This company is the definition of "Customer Service"

Our furnace went out on new years Eve. Everybody in the industry was "on call" and this was the first company to call me back. The technician was ultra nice and professional and helped me know where we stood regarding the furnace. It actually worked sporadically over the weekend so we were good until they repaired the Parr on Tuesday. Exceptwe then learned we would need an entire furnace replacement. Our parts paid for the day before were credited and I found the buying process to be smooth and professional. The next day installation went great and they seemed to treat us with care the whole time and not just until we "signed on the dotted line" We'll be using them for ongoing maintenance and I was definitely impressed with how well this group communicated with us and cleaned up and everything. Buying a furnace is not a fun buy, but Air Comfort Service at least made it bearable. Thank you to your entire team.

Ryan M. was the technician that came today. I am thrilled with Ryan's ability to listen, think critically, and step-back to consider a bigger picture. I say that because the technicians that come tell us that our system is getting old. OK, I research and look at potential HVAC solutions. The last person could only tell me that components needed to be replaced and offered to call the office to speak with someone more knowledgeable. He was trying; props to him. In contrast, Ryan explained the effect of the components that his software told him should be replaced, and followed up with details from his physical inspection. Ryan was also able to share specifics about my current system that help me understand features I want in my next system. He was a consultant and not a sales person. I very much appreciate the service he provided, and look forward to future conversations for which Ryan prepared me.

We had our annual fall furnace inspection and our service tech, Mike, found a small crack and 2 minor hairline cracks in the flue pipe. Cracks weren’t serious enough to shut down our service but it was recommended we address it within the next year. Home was built in 1978. We informed Mike our equipment was 21+ years old. We had planned to replace in 2021 but were delayed because of two (2) recent appliance replacements. Mike arranged a meeting with the Sales Rep, Scott. We met with Scott within a few hours that day. We looked at our choices and two (2) days later, we had a new furnace, humidifier, AC unit, air scrubber and thermostat installed. We’re glad we made the decision to replace our entire system and chose a Carrier Five Stage system. Pete G. was the team lead on our job and Bryce M. worked on the AC side. We were very familiar with Pete from previously maintaining our generator and felt extremely confident everything would be successfully completed and the finished product would look great. Pete fabricated new duct work, replaced elbows, straight sections and updated both the electric and gas connections and other things. The completed job was exactly what we expected from Air Comfort. This is the 3rd set of systems we have had installed at two (2) different residences over the past 35+ years and Air Comfort reminded us why they’re still the # 1 Company in town. The entire office staff are always very respectful, super friendly and very efficient. We would highly recommend Air Comfort Service to anyone looking for a very qualified heating and cooling contractor. Thanks again for ALL of your efforts.

Date: November 12,2022: Logan P again provided expert diagnostic service for my furnace after it stopped working earlier today. Logan was able to quickly determine the problem and provide a solution, which he monitored for several minutes afterward. He also gave me a refresher on the correct way to insert the filter as well as the safe way to change a fuse - if necessary. Thanks to Tammy and to Logan for their excellent service on this very cold day! Date: November 3, 2021: Logan P provided expert maintenance service for my furnace that was recently installed (June 2021). He also patiently explained and demonstrated (again) how to change the filter and how to effectively set the thermostat. Thanks to Tammy L and Logan P for providing the professional service that I continue to receive from Air Comfort Service. Previous review - Date: May 15, 2018: As usual, the Air Comfort technician, this time Mark L, arrived at the expected appointment time. He was able to perform diagnosis activities for my air conditioning, which was blowing only hot air. He quickly identified the problem, corrected it, and then also efficiently performed maintenance activites. The office staff, this time HilIary, was able to have the technician, Mark L, at my home within hours of my service call. I continue to remain very happy with Air Comfort Service.

The most responsive HVAC service. Fan broke off 15 year old Carrier outside unit on Monday AM and they had a tech at my house at 730 am who sold me a new unit and evaporator coil and humidifier which was fully installed by 11 AM the next day during Triple digit heat wave. Given how many dogs and chinchillas, birds and cats I have, it was bug out or hunker down with some RACs until the AirComfort Calvary came riding over the hill in less than 24 hours. In this era of shortages and labor difficulties, these guys were on the scene faster than FEMA after a natural disaster. Workers were polite and professional and efficient. Workmanship was first rate and they even relocated and rewired my set up to make it more accessible. Could not imagine faster or better service from any HVAC service. A plus for a grade. Our furnace of 19 yrs old failed this past week. It started in the early morning hrs of Monday with a burning smell that woke us up. Tom came out the next day to access the furnace and stated the inducer motor was failing, weak starting component, and heat exchanger that was showing severe signs of wear. We were to consider repairing or investing in a new unit. The furnace did not hold a reduced temperature setting and eventually stopped working. We decided to replace the furnace as well as the air conditioner. First the appt was made for early the following week. When my husband spoke with Tom about our decision and when Tom found out that our appt wasn't till the next week and temperatures were going to dip into the teens the next day he called to have the appt the same week to keep us comfortably warm but also to avoid any pipes bursting. Wednesday evening after work, Scott came out to help us through the different levels of HVACs and financing. The process was smooth and did not take long. Scott did not pressure, was very easy to talk with, and answered all of our questions. Besides all that, he came out on the very day they brought a newborn home from the hospital, when he should have been with his wife, daughter, and newborn. Jason & Kevin were out that Friday to install the new HVAC/humidifer at 7:30 am as scheduled and they worked continuously until 3pm when everything was completed. Jason helped us to provide additional ventilation due to the size of the unit and showed us and demo'd everything before he left. We decided on a smart thermostat which we love as you can set it specifically for each day of the week. We had also decided to have a humidifier added to the unit. The furnace holds the temp on the button and can hardly hear it run! While having a furnace go out is never timely, Air Comfort Service and team made the process about as easy as it gets. We were previous customers of Schraut Heating & Cooling and installed an HVAC for a prior home. We would highly recommend Air Comfort Service for their empathy, integrity, work ethic, professionalism, quality of system..... etc.....

We called to set up our appointment for the fall service on 10/4 and were disappointed that the first appointment that would fit our schedule wasn't until early December. Amada said she would put us on the cancellation list. She called us three days later to advise that they had an opening that day. I got a call a short while later advising that the technician, Logan, would be at our home soon. He arrived promptly, wearing a mask, which was appreciated, and then went right to work. He checked out the furnace, cleaned the unit, and even washed off the condenser unit for the A/C. He also noticed that the vent pipe on our water heater was duct taped, and not screwed, which is not up to code, so he put in the three screws as required by code. We appreciated his courteous service and attention to details. We were very pleased with the service that we received from Amanda, Logan and Air Comfort Service and highly recommend them.

We've been having problems with our A/C during the warmer weather. We called, a technician came out. He told us the costs of repairing the problems. Based on the fact that the furnace and A/C were 28 years old, we would get a new system instead of keep throwing money at the old one and probably end up replacing it anyways. We were able to get a salesman, Scott, out the next day. He went over the different options based on the size of our house. Fortunately, they had one of that size in stock for the options we chose; they have customers whose systems are back ordered. Because ours was in stock, they were able to get the installers out the next day. Mark and Pete arrived on-time and started working; there was another gentleman who delivered the new unit and took the old one away, but I can't remember his name. We were told they would complete the install around 6pm. Because we made sure they had plenty of room to work, aka we moved our junk well away from the furnace area, they were able to complete the job before 3:30pm. I can't guarantee this would be in every case, but it certainly helped us. They answered our nit-picky questions, did the installation, and cleaned up after themselves!!! We've had problems with other contractors, not heating/cooling cleaning up after themselves, so this was quite nice to experience. The new system has been working very well since he had it installed 2 days ago. We're supposed to be getting a new thermostat we it becomes available; that was the only part that was back ordered. Since we already had a smart thermostat, it is working for now; the new thermostat is expected to make better use of our furnace/A/C system. We're just happy the house isn't as warm and we don't hear the fan running quite as often. Overall, we're happy with the quality, speed and efficiency of the service we've received.

On July 4th we had the unlucky experience of having our A/C system stop working and it was HOT! We needed an emergency service call and we needed it fast. We found Air Comfort based on previous reviews and recommendations and gave them a call. They were very responsive and quick to arrive. We were lucky enough the get John as our service tech. We were impressed with everything about him and with his knowledge and his ability to communicate directly with us about the problem. He was professional and straight forward. We ended up buying a yearly maintenance agreement to have them come back out in the fall to check our furnace and whole house humidifier and then to come back again in the spring and perform a check up on our A/C system. They just came to perform the fall maintenance check on our furnace and humidifier and I was very pleased to see they sent John again. Again, I found him to be punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and personable. He took some time with me to explain what he did and answered several questions I had about my whole house humidifier system. I absolutely recommend the Air Comfort team and their service tech, John. He is awesome! If I have any complaint it would be the lack of paperwork I received when I purchased the maintenance agreement and when the fall maintenance check was performed. I did receive a detailed hand written receipt for the emergency service call in July which shows that I purchased a maintenance agreement but I did not receive a copy of what my particular maintenance agreement included. After the July service call I called the office and they emailed over a generic outline of their maintenance agreement offerings but it is a generic version that does not tell ME what I purchased. I also did not receive any paperwork for the fall maintenance check to tell me what they did or what they found. John was great about explaining to me what he was going to do but my husband wasn't there to see or hear it and I was not very good at explaining it to him later that evening. In this case I was home for the service and John confirmed everything checked out fine but that was all verbal. I am all about saving trees but it would be nice to have documents to file in our maintenance records for future reference. It would also be nice to know exactly what my maintenance contract includes. I have no complaints whatsoever about John, or his service though. Thank you Air Comfort Team!

Our original HVAC system was quickly coming to its end of life, parts were wearing out and the house had either hot or cold spots throughout our home. We had them install the Carrier Infinity Multi Stage system to resolve the problem on advice from my two sisters that also had the system installed. The team from Air Comfort was great. They arrived on time and explained everything to me and then went to work. Completed and cleaned up all within the time frame they said the installation would take. Already notice a big difference upstairs with the new HVAC system. I also paid to have them perform Duct Sealing through an aerosol process that seems to have made a huge difference in pushing cold air upstairs. Their testing showed a mid to upper 90% efficiency (don’t remember what they called it but only a small normal portion of air leak from the ducts now). I tested this by feeling the cold air coming out of the registers upstairs. With the old system and the leaking ducts I had to get on my knees and put my hand right over the register to feel the air coming out and now I can just stand by the registers and feel the cold air coming up a huge difference from before. Anyway very satisfied and looking forward to a great business / consumer relationship with Air Comfort Service!

I had Air Comfort Services come to my home to repair a leaking AC unit I had. Upon inspection by the Service Tech John he had informed me that I needed to replace the unit. However he also gave me other options to repair the unit but also told me the pros and cons about repair and that the repair could last a week, a month or 6 months but in the end it will be needed to be replaced. He put me in touch with Scott the Sales Manager who came to my home and inspected the units I had and then sat down with me and went over a detailed chart of my past energy uses and charges and then explained to me what he could do for me. I was given four options with prices from basic to high end. Since I have two units explained to me why I needed to replace both. Upon reviewing all four packages presented to me Scott explained every product and piece of equipment that was part of his presentation of the four packages. He answered all my questions clearly and without no hesitation at all which told me he knew what he was talking about. At the end of our conversation I ended up going with the highest package and replacing both AC units, both furnaces, both humidifiers, added air purifiers and two really cool top notch thermostats and let’s not forget the Aeroseal. If you don’t know what that is look it up online, you will be amazed of how they can seal all your duct work so you don’t loose air flow which in the end even saves you more money. After I signed the papers I had no remorse or second thoughts about what I did, I was actually excited to get it installed, I mean come on who gets excited about buying new furnaces and AC units. I then received a phone call the next morning from Shannon the Office Manager scheduling a date to install everything, I thought it was going to be a while because of the large scope of work that had to be done. They told me that they could do it the following week and actually it was less than a week. Scott also followed up with me regarding the date. The night before Scott called me confirming that they would be at my home the next morning at 730 am to start and to ask me if I had any questions or concerns. Scott and his team arrived 10 minutes before 730 am and he introduced me to all his team that would be working on my home. They all wore face mask, booties, gloves and had drop cloths all over my floors so there would be no damages done to my floors. Once it was all done the techs went over everything with me and Scott himself showed back up at my home to go over everything with me again and to make sure everything was done to his approval. After Scott and his team left I had no questions and was beyond please for service I received from Air Comfort Services. Buying furnaces and AC units is a big purchase almost like buying a car if you had to compare cost, so it’s a major decision you are making and when you are making this decision you want to make sure that you are getting treated fairly and being told everything you need to know and when it’s all said and done you want to feel like you got a deal. Well if you want that experience you need to call Scott at Air Comfort Services. I also want to mention that I used Scott and his team back in January for a water heater and received the same service. I also want to Thank Kevin, Mark, Zach, Matthew, John, Shannon and Scott again for all their hard work, dedication and professionalism to make sure that my family and myself were taking care.

There were two great things that happened with this Spring visit. One is that I got a call the day before telling me that I would be the first visit on the day WOW that was great. I did not have to dedicate the entire morning to waiting for the tech to arrive. The second great thing was Corey He went above and beyond what is expected of the tech. All techs have always been great but Corey did something that no other tech has done. First of all he noticed how noisy the outside AC unit was which sits right next to my patio. He tighten all the screws and replace 3 of them that were missing. I don't think the unit has ever been that quiet, even when new. Now I can actually sit outside with my lady and carry on a conversation WOW. Next he actually washed down the patio. I don't know what possessed him to do that but I want him back again!!!! 9/11/19 Had them out again because thermostat was blank and AC not working. Jacob came out the same day and determined the thermostat was bad. I replaced it with one I had already bought and he made sure everything was not only working properly but that my phone/thermostat interface was up and running as well. This is the extra service that i always get from Air Comfort....above and beyond. Price was more than fair!!! 4/7/2022 during a routine check it was found it in my compressor on the AC was shot. Someone came out from aircomfort and gave me a quote for a replacement which was reasonable. The thing I really like is that I have a 10-year warranty for parts and labor. You can't beat that. The installation was wonderful.

Our AC stopped working on a Friday afternoon. Another company came out and told us the parts and labor would be nearly $6,000. And those would be non-warrantied. And it would take two weeks to get the parts and come back out. Two weeks in June/July! We called Air Comfort Service (because we hear them advertised on Dave Glover) and they say we can come give you a second opinion tonight (this is 8pm at night, and I’m speaking to the manager of the company!). He comes out and confirms the same parts need replacement. Also informs us that at this point it’s recommended to buy a system instead because it will be warrantied for 10+ years. Sells us a system at 9pm that same night. Tells us install is in 1 week (still better than the other company, but a long way away in 90 degree weather). We get a call Monday morning at 9am telling us they bumped us up to Wednesday for install! Yay! We are overly thrilled and appreciative! By 3pm I get ANOTHER call telling us they bumped us up to Tuesday (TOMORROW) for install! Amazing! Within 5 days (including a weekend) from start to finish we were done with the process. They sent 3 men (Jason, Pete, Scott) and the entire system was installed in less than 8 hours. They kept our house clean, put down blankets everywhere so they didn’t track in dirt to our home, were quiet, and efficient. Our new AC has us back up and cool in less than 3 business days and I am VERY VERY thankful to Air Comfort Service for making us feel like our business was a top priority! They will be our exclusive provider for all cleanings and checks going forward because of their top notch customer service and care and communication! Highly recommend!!!

I purchased a new HVAC system in 2019 and, being and engineer, made a massive spreadsheet to thoroughly compare proposals from seven local HVAC companies. While not the least expensive, Air Comfort Service delivered the best value (and I purchased a higher-end Carrier system). Their install team finished the furnace and AC system (inside and outside units), thermostat, wiring, and duct work in one day. The actual system performance and features, warranty, annual service program, financing, and team professionalism all helped me make this decision and I don't regret it. Moreover, the financing is provided through Wells-Fargo and is interest free and stretches over 6 years. This means the payment is manageable and, incredibly, almost covered by the $225 savings in our monthly electricity bill (during summer months) gained by installing an AC system with nearly twice the efficiency of the previous unit. Do the math and you'll see this decision will be easier than you think and the financing terms are very attractive. Today, John came by to do the annual readiness check-up for the coming summer months. All systems go. He checked the inside system and diagnostics and cleaned the outside unit checking all connections, fittings, and breakers for proper state and condition. I went with a friend's recommendation the first time without a lot of research. This time, I did quite a bit research on Google, Angie's List and inquired on the Next Door app. After narrowing it down to and getting bids, I chose these guys. Why? They weren't quite the cheapest, but the difference was nominal and when comparing different brands the apples-to-apples is hard. On July 19th, the air conditioner was not cooling. I called Air Comfort Service and the appointment was scheduled for the same day. Service technician was at the house within a couple of hours. After checking the A/C, the technician told me that the unit was leaking refrigerant, the air conditioner was old and needed to be replaced. Needless to say, I was devastated and felt hopeless. My husband and I are senior citizens living on a fixed income and unable to afford a major purchase like that. I told him "I guess we will have to be hot because I can't buy a new A/C". When he returned from the call, he said he was told to find the source of the leak. He found that it was the coil. Bob Bushek was at our house on 10/19 for a service call to perform the fall inspection of our furnace as part of our maintenance agreement. My past experience is that some service technicians don’t really like having the homeowner stand and watch over them while they do their job. Bob actually encouraged me to hang around so he could explain what he was doing and why. Before he arrived he had reviewed when the furnace was installed and any maintenance issues. Since he knew the furnace was 16 years old he had specific things he wanted to inspect. He performed the candle test and explained how that would help determine if there was a crack in the flue. He pulled the blower assembly out, visually inspected the flue and did an amp test on the blower motor. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me. I feel confidant that our furnace is now ready for another heating season. Thanks Bob!

I've lived here since 1982. Furnace humidity generation still is insufficient ever since your broken steam humidifier had to be removed. The Aprilaire drip humidifier went maxed out does not support 40% humidification. Could a 2nd unit be installed?

John P. THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I only have a few years left on this system ( FREON WILL BE ELIMINATED SOON ) but I'm glad I have a company that I'm calling when the time comes to replace it! John was very professional, extremely accommodating, extremely informative, worked quickly & thoroughly. My system is weird I have a Heil installed from a one man operation ( NO ONE WORKS ON THESE- grrrrrrrr) and it has a manual thermal coupler that needed adjusting- John knew all about it and said he hadn't seen many of these (NORMALLY THEY ARE AUTOMATIC) . In addition I have an engine up in attic that blows air up to upstairs first... he said that they would not necessarily repeat this install when my system falls off the freon availability and needs replacement. At the time this "private" installer was all I could find that made sense to make my house cooler upstairs... but he has fallen from grace and I now see the benefits of a large company. Never again a one man operation! JOHN P stay healthy!!!

We were on vacation when I got the call last summer that the AC was not cooling. Called the salesman (who I trusted with my house key) from Air Comfort and he went to evaluate the unit. Unfortunately for me, the AC could not take another bandade. The crew did a great job. Worked all day in the 105 degree heat. They presented themselves well and explained their work. Caution was taken as to not destroy the house. They replaced my furnace a few weeks ago too.

Last summer Air Comfort sold me the parts to fix my AC unit at a few dollars over what I could have bought them mail-order over the internet and less than half the price that four other HVAC companies quoted me for the parts. I told the girl behind the Service desk that if I ever needed to make a service call, I'd be sure to call Air Comfort first. Today I needed a service call. I remembered Air Comfort selling me the AC parts at market value. Bing. Bam. Boom. Rob was on time. He was quick, clean, courteous, and professional. He didn't dork around looking for upselling opportunities. He fixed my furnace, charged me the minimum, and was on his way. Just by being on-time and efficient, Rob had me back to work in less than an hour. I bill my job hourly, so Rob's skill put money back in my pocket. He even bolted down some loose screws and replaced missing screws and component covers that the previous yahoo repairman left rolling around loose in the bottom of the unit. I highly recommend.

He checked out the system and determined that the sound appeared to originate from a vibration against the ductwork as water started to pass through the attached tubing as the humidifier started up.
