We needed our water heater replaced and moved to another area in the same room since we were going with a bigger tank. We received several quotes and Waterbury’s estimate was in line with others. What set them apart was Bob ( estimator) set us up on the schedule and told us to cancel if we go elsewhere. He seemed to care that we didn’t have hot water and wanted us on a schedule to be safe. No need to go elsewhere. Work completed within a day, we paid the quoted price and had another excellent experience with Waterbury!

They are an excellent team of plumbers. I had a gas dryer uninstalled on a Friday so that we could take it out and bring in a newer washer and dryer. I also had a water shutoff that was leaking under my kitchen sink. He returned at 8:30 on Monday and updated or connected everything on my list in an hour. They were not big things but necessary repairs. He was efficient and came with everything he needed. I was a long time customer of Dan Parker Plumbing and they have joined with Waterbury. I recommend them for their skill as well as advise. Thank you

Had an incredible experience with Gary, Bob and my installer through Waterbury. I'd been dealing with a 21 year old furnace that was on it's last leg and broke during the -40 weather. We called multiple businesses in Sioux Falls to get a quote and immediately cancelled the rest of my appointments after meeting Gary. Gary came to my house for a site visit just two hours after making the initial call. Gary checked my system out and had a quote to me by the next day. He then had Bob come help fix our system to help get us to the new install date. Bob had the unit fixed in a half hour and it worked flawlessly to the day of install. We have a two year old and a 3 month old, so this really meant a lot to us. Install Day: I missed his name, but he was there right at 8am and had the unit installed by 4:30pm. Walked me through the new system and left my house looking just as when he arrived. He also took the initative to move a drain pipe to the other side of the unit to help open up our walkway in our utility room. It was a small thing, but I really appreciated it. -Quick service -They cared about what they do -They offered money saving solutions -Costco/Lennox deal is unbeatable -Sign out process was quick and painless -Very responsive -The Lennox system/humidifier is performing very well Best experience I've had with a Business in a long time

We worked with the Waterbury team to replace our 28 year old furnace and heat pump. They were very professional in reviewing our current system, needs, and making a variety of recommendations across price ranges. Once our selection was made the office staff worked with us to identify all potential methods of savings and rebates. They were personable and easy to work with. All of the guys that came out for the installation were great and respectful of our home. They worked hard and completed a scheduled 2 day installation in 1 long, full day. We moved into a new house back in June. Recently, our water heater pilot light would not stay on and every time we needed hot water we would need to relight it. We have used other companies in the past and have found ourselves in less than favorable situations with their service and cost. Waterbury is top of the line. Tim was honest and straightforward after noticing our water heater in the house was purchased from a "big box store" and the repairs would take some time to get the parts from said store. We decided to get a new water heater and one was brought out by another friendly technician who helped Tim get it in our house and bring the old one out. Tim made sure to walk us through everything and checked to make sure we didn't have any other questions before he left. He also shared some of his wisdom with us about other things to keep an eye on. We are incredibly satisfied with the service we received and will use them in the future.

we have used Tim a few times in the past and have been satisfied with his work, this time I was not happy, I had a kitchen faucet that needed to be installed. when he got here he looked at the box and said he didn't really want to install it because he thought I should look for a more expensive one, my husband and I had already looked around alot and had decided this was the best value for us, he didn't agree and said i needed to shop around more and he would be back later in the week. he told me he would install the faucet I had purchased already if we had not found another one, it made for a very uncomfortable installation appointment. probably will look for a different plumber

I recently got a new washer and dryer set and replaced my gas dryer with electric. After delivery I found out that the existing plug was not working for my new dryer and Waterbury was able to schedule someone within a couple of days from my call. Ryan did a great job and actually was running a little early and called to see if I could accommodate. They were able to give me a quote over the phone and a tech was at our home within an hour. Tim was our service tech and he was extremely friendly and professional. Tim was amazing. He explained What he planned to do and made sure I was okay with his approach... Then he completed the install and went over all the different pieces that they installed and how to use them. He went over at the warranty and also gave me a tip to run my washing machine with no clothes in it to ensure there's no residue in the pipes. He was fantastic!

We had just moved into a historic home, when we were shocked to find our hot water running gray! We also had some questionable water pressure and drains. Jim from Waterbury came out the next day, helped us drain our water heater to clear the issue, cleared buildup from our shower head, and checked every faucet. He was willing to train me in how to empty the water heater ourselves, to save us the plumber time/money but it was worth a professional. And the bill was very fair! You can trust Waterbury to be prompt, thorough, and value-conscious.

I recently had Waterbury do a full HVAC install at my home. The previous furnace/AC were original with the house and needed a replacement. After getting our needs assessed with a consultation, we were scheduled for the setup. Shiloh and his crew came through and got everything replaced/installed. 7/26/2022 Update. We are still with Waterbury. Due to astronomical growth in our city, appointments are further out than they have been in the past. The technicians are doing the best they can. Our air conditioning and heating unit, installed when the home was built in 1993, is old and tired. We are getting a new one in a month, again, due to all the construction and growth in our city. ***** Waterbury technicians seem to do a thorough and complete job when they come out. They explain things without being condescending, and I was offered a value plan which saves money and has them call me for seasonal checkups instead of me having to call and wait for weeks.

Over the last few years my air conditioning unit needed to be recharged each year. Waterbury kept it running well for those years . It just got to the point where it would not keep the Home cool anymore. They suggested replacing the air-conditioning portion as the furnace was still in good shape. They put in a very high-quality Lenox unit which works fantastic. I paid $4000 instead of 8000+ dollars by replacing only the AC. I appreciate their honesty and good advice. I will certainly use Waterbury for any of my other plumbing heating or air conditioning or even electrical needs which I have in the past and they’ve always been outstanding. I have even had them put in a home theater system electrical portion which they did a Great job.

4-15-2022 Jim from Waterbury came out and replaced the water softener and main shutoff valve which also went bad. He was awesome to work with and very professional! I would highly suggest Waterbury and Jim definitely deserves a pay raise! 2021 Kelly came out and fixed our blower motor that had went out. Also got rid of a transformer that was smoking and would probably have started a fire. He was prompt and straight to the point. He knew what he was doing and wasn't afraid to say what needs to be done. He also noticed the ac was low on freon and gave some helpful advise on getting more airflow to it. Overall I appreciate how thorough Kelly was and the fact that he was willing to go beyond what was expected even as it passed 5pm.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Waterbury! Quick, professional, and reasonably priced! We had an outside faucet that had water damage b/c of some water left in it this winter. It froze and (of course) burst, leaving us with a non functioning faucet. I called them up, Tim came out and evaluated the situation, had to order a part, was back to fix it ASAP and we have a functioning outdoor faucet again! My Lennox/Waterbury experience was great. The Waterbury salesman was knowledgeable and friendly. He was very prompt about returning calls to answer questions and very exact on his recommendations. They installed a Radon system. Fixed an A/C issue that a competitor could not figure out after 4 visits, and installed a humidistat so our Aprillaire would work correctly. Highly recommend!

Our HVAC installer did a great job. He made sure to have the AC going before he left after the first day of work, (a 2 day job). My only complaint was the lack of floor protection and shoe covers when performing work indoors. Plenty of debris tracked through the house, but he did do a great job cleaning up around the furnace area indoors when the job was complete. Also, the guy delivering the new equipment was very kind but not especially careful about bumping into the walls with the equipment.

Please, don't waste your time going anywhere else. I've been dumping money with another company. It took them telling me that we HAD to get a new furnace immediately and then to hear their insane price, which was about the cost of a brand new car, to get other opinions. We're heard about waterbury from a friend and gave them a call. Gary was amazing. Very nice and very courteous. Not only were their prices of new equipment a quarter of the other company, but Gary let me know we didn't need new anything just a few parts and a service. We were ready to dump well over $10k on a new system, but he was honest and informative, literally saving us thousands of dollars. Thank you so much Waterbury! We won't go anywhere else again.

I called Waterbury for an issue I was having with water flow in the house and outside faucets. Tim called me back the same day, practically right away, and after talking things through he helped diagnose the likely problem over the phone. He showed up shortly there after (along w/ a city employee to help shut down water outside the home) and promptly replaced an old shutoff gate valve that had corroded and had a bunch of rocks stuck in it from construction done last fall. I was very impressed w/ the responsiveness and caring professionalism Tim and the person who first answered my call. I highly recommend!

Troy called when he was on his way and arrived promptly. I was having a hot water heater installed and he not only put drop cloths on the floor, he also wore items on his shoes to protect my carpet. He informed me what the process would be and did it very quickly. He also took time to look at my water softener and adjusted that for better performance. All old parts were removed. We recently moved to Sioux Falls. Kelly serviced our air conditioner and also did a complete walk-through to evaluate all our heating and cooling (and plumbing) equipment in our house. He was honest and straight-forward in explaining the condition of everything along with providing recommendations and maintenance tips. He took the time to answer all my questions. I've used Waterbury several times in the past. They arrive when scheduled, clearly answer any questions I have and go the extra mile to do to a proper and clean service call. On my latest service call they replaced a water heater. Tim asked if I would like separate shut off valve added just for the water heater. I could tell that it wasn't a sales pitch to increase the bill. It was a logical question that I never would have thought to ask. It only took a few minutes extra to install but now if there are any "hot water" issues in the future, I won't have to shut off the whole house.

We called Waterbury on a saturday to fix a leaking supply water valve for the washer. They got here within 10 to 15 minutes. Troy the tech replaced both hot and cold since they were both pretty old. I think it only took him 15 minutes and the job was done. Troy was awesome and gave us a great recommendation for a water softener which we hope we can get Troy to install and considering this was after hours it was very inexpensive. We will definitely be calling them the next time we need service.

Our water heater went out on Saturday, and their after-hours support phone representative thoughtfully informed me that there is a $40 after-hours charge for service. So, I decided to wait until Monday to get it fixed. The plumber (Tim) showed up right away on Monday morning, answered my stupid questions about water heaters and discussed my options before diving into the repair. He then fixed it within 20 minutes. He was very courteous and professional. The price to replace the thermo couple in our water heater (a common fix) was very reasonable. We have also called Waterbury for furnace troubleshooting in the past and they are more than happy to speak to you over the phone and are not pushy in any way. Their friendly, courteous service is refreshing and I will definitely give them my business again in the future.

Our water heater took a dump on us this weekend. I called the company that was tagged on our old water heater, and got a message telling us to email them...Bull Butter. I wanted to talk to someone. So I called Waterbury and by 11AM they had a technician at my house. He informed me what I had already figured out. Then he proceeded to tell me that they don't sell that brand, but that it should be under warranty. Troy called and turns out it was under warranty. He then called the office and they sent someone to go pick up a new water heater. I was only charged labor and removal fee.
