Doug showed up on time and as scheduled and did a great job. My old furnace was on it's last leg and I wanted to get it replaced before the winter rush. Their price was lower than the other bid I got and they could do it in less time (one day). The new furnace fan runs great (quieter) and we're very happy with the overall results. They even cleaned up the old ducting mess and added a filter box. I highly recommend Northend for any furnace work.

Great service and value! When another heating company couldn't get to our home in a reasonable time, they recommended I call Doug at Northend Home Heating. Doug came quickly, identified the troubles, and installed our new furnace (and updated our ductwork) within just a few days. He was always on time, respectful, safe, and great to work with. Trustworthy and extremely effective! Our house feels great now.

Doug, the owner is also the main worker and so it was nice to deal with one person for the entire operation. I made an appointment for a bid and he was right on time. He saw the old ducts and the associated problems with them and diagnosed a solution right away. He custom-built a brand new space-saving ductwork system in the basement of my vintage home where the original ductwork had previously taken up a lot of ceiling space. All I can say is that I am amazed at how well the new duct system he designed looks and works. It saved an incredible amount of space and made it possible to really utilize the basement now. Not only that, the airflow is a lot more even throughout my entire home. Doug also installed a new air conditioning system. I was at home when the work was being done and he is all about working hard and not wasting time. He custom-fabricated the duct work in his truck -which is like a rolling workshop! All the work he did is top notch and all the equipment and materials used were the best. I could not be happier about choosing North End Home Heating.
