We recently worked with MM Comfort Systems for a ductless air conditioning mini-split for our 3 story townhouse. The work started and completed on time. Mike and Devin consulted with us on location and positioning of each of the units, along with ensuring we could operate each unit before completing the work. Everything works and looks great. They even completed all the warranty paperwork for us. This exceeded my expectations!

I went through Costco to get an air conditioner added onto our house and the estimate process was very clear and I was able to sign an agreement for the whole install and components to be installed later once they all became available due to the supply chain issues, but did not need to pay anything until a couple weeks out from the install. We ended up needing to wait a few months more than expected (but we didn't need AC in the winter anyways). It was easily scheduled once things became available though. On the day of the install Lamont & Qushawn arrived and were very professional during the process and answered any questions I had. Once it was all installed they walked me through all the details of the install and how to register the product to extend the warranty. They left everything clean and I had no complaints at all. Both the city and L&I passed off the work as meeting all the requirements and code right away. We are so grateful to have AC added onto our system to prepare for the hotter and hotter summers experienced in Washington.

Got nothing to say but the best interaction I’ve gotten from a contracting company. We went thru Costco to get a new gas furnace and ac setup. Drew, Jason, and Jeremy was my main crew who did the install. I had to work during most of the install but Drew always contacted me with any issues that came up and also let me decide where I wanted things to go. I thought that was very nice because most people would just do whatever that was easier for them to get the job done. I had a gas line installed to the meter also, I didn’t get to meet him nor the electrical guy but they both also did an amazing job. Update: forgot to mention that I had a hard time getting ahold of the sales department. Left atleast 3 Emails until I got a answer back. Wanted to add another product to my system but I’m waiting for a email response. The install crew were too notch. But the sales side and appointment side, not so great!

We needed to have a heat pump water heater (AC unit plus storage tank- SANCO 2) installed. After being turned down by numerous contractors, who claimed to be unable to install such a system, MM Comfort systems not only sent out a technician the next day, but Kyle proceeded to start the work on the project immediately. It was great to observe how he drew on his personal network when extra information was needed, since this was new technology for all of us. Adding a timer and thermostat to the circulation pump was genius and the entire system now runs beautifully. Thank you!

Edit: After having a Manager contact me, MM was able to complete the project to satisfaction. Updating my review to 3 stars - The now completed install looks good, but points lost in that it took 3 separate trips to complete everything as required, and due to the very bad communication lapses for getting the original work corrected. Original Review: We booked MM through Costco, and since all the services we used through Costco have been great we thought this would be a slam dunk - this one has been a big disappointment. The duct cleaning went fine and the install was on time, however once the install was complete and the installers left, we realized the heating was not working - it was only blowing cold air. I called MM and they could not come back until the next day so we had no heating for that evening. It turns out he didn't set up the system correctly and had to make some setting changes on the unit. It only took about a half hour to fix, but it shows that the installer did not properly test the unit before finishing the work, otherwise it would have been very obvious the heating element wasn't working. The biggest issue I have is with the linehide installation for the refrigerant lines going out to the exterior unit. The salesman and contract for the work specified that the linehide would cover all piping through the interior of the house so that the lines would not be visible, and that is not what we got. The line hide does not conceal the lines at either end of the walls, and on top of that is is not completely flush with the ceiling and is crooked at various locations. The installer said he could not install it any other way due to studs being in the way, but to me this is an unacceptable quality install for a finished living space. Some other solution for linehide placement should be found (or, at minimum, attachments should be provided to conceal the ends). Even the City of Kirkland inspector who came out commented on what sloppy of a job it was. I sent photos, emailed multiple contacts that I could find to try to get someone from MM to talk with out about the issue to see what could be done and It's been radio silence. I've left a phone message to their customer support line. I emailed their customer support. I emailed the one contact who originally asked me to send photos of the issue, and when I tried to follow up was notified by an automated message that I was blocked. Not cool. This company will take your money and leave you with a cosmetically sloppy job, then ignore you when you try to contact them to correct the work. This experience has been beyond frustrating to where even though we have a functioning updated HVAC system, I can't give them more than one star. Cannot recommend.

With higher temps and smoky skies becoming more common in the Seattle area, we decided to look into getting a heat pump for our house. We called several contractors, and were connected to MM Comfort Systems through Costco. Matt answered a ton of our questions and gave the rationale for his recommended installation, and the quote that followed was timely and reasonable. The next installation window was a few months out (which was fine by us), and the work began and ended exactly on the dates predicted. Sam and Antonio were great installers to work with - respectful of our house, and careful to ensure that each installation (locations and routing) was acceptable to us. The electricians (another Sam, and another Matt if I recall correctly) were collaborative and efficient. And Hannah and Jenah at the office have also been great - keeping us well informed on the schedule and arrival times and the permitting requirements, and completing the warranty registration for us! Very professional, very responsive, and we are very pleased that we chose MM Comfort Systems for our work.

I enjoyed talking with them about their family and appreciated them going far and above what we expected. They not only repaired some shoddy work done by another installation company that put in our furnace, they also discovered a water leak under our house and offered some advice on how to repair it. They stayed late moving our thermostat into a more convenient location for us even though it proved to be a huge pain! It helped us a ton having it moved. Truly excellent service and professionalism. Drew & Jason did the professional install. These two worked hard getting the furnace up in the attic. They had to cut the access opening a little wider and they did a clean neat job and not tore up the access hole. I was afraid I would need to replace the whole ceiling but it was very minimal, just a touch up needed later. I had many questions about the system and they were very detailed with explaining it and how to operate the new system. I even asked Jason to take a look at my gas fireplace for an opinion. Also, Drew explained to me what a heat pump was and what is was needed and used for. To summarize a long story, the two (Drew & Jason) did an excellent job with their craft. I went through the COSTCO program and MM Comfort Systems made it happen. I am liking my iComfort E30, I can monitor the house comfort anywhere in the world, while I'm out Snowboarding or Surfing! 🏂❄️🏔🏄‍♂️🌊🏔 Mahalo and Thank You! Also want to Thanks Hannah for doing the registration for me which gave me another 5 years of warranty time for the heating system. She also set up the post install inspection with City of Renton for me which only took about 10 minutes or less. Also, Tom Dempsey, who did the initial consultation, and explained thoroughly in detail to me the 3 different Lennox models that would suit my heating needs.

UPDATE: MM sent a crew to address the issues with the city’s inspection. It all worked out in the end, but it still took almost two months to get everything done. Thank you for working on this and finishing the job, MM Comfort Systems. We hired MM Comfort Systems through Costco to install a ductless AC unit. We trusted them to do the job right because of their association with Costco, so we paid them $8,000. The crew came out and installed the system in late March (it is now late May, two months since installation), and MM Comfort Systems set up inspections for the electrical and refrigeration work. The refrigeration inspector came over and said he could not approve because MMCS had used the wrong clamps or ties for the cables and the refrigerant line that goes up in a spout to where the AC unit is in the bedroom. I told MMCS what the inspector said, and they said they would send someone over to fix the issue, which they said was an easy fix. A second technician came over and said he didn't have the right equipment or parts to fix it. That was SIX WEEKS ago, and MMCS still has not fixed what the inspector said needed to be fixed. It seems MMCS is just hoping the issue will go away and is delaying the fix to do the job right and instead has asked the city to approve the system the way it was installed. Every time I call them to ask them to send someone to fix the issue, so it'll pass inspection, they just say that they're waiting for the city to approve it as is. This is completely unacceptable. I guess they got their money, so as far as they are concerned, they're done. The spout that carries the cables and refrigerant line is sitting open. I would never hire this company again, and I'm disappointed that Costco promotes it at its locations.

MM Comfort Systems installed a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump at my house recently. The house was originally built with hydronic heating, so the mini split is an addition and provides AC plus a second option for heating. Had a very good experience with MM. The salesman, Russel, was very professional. The installers, Sam and Antonio, did a really nice job on the install and the installation looks extremely tidy. I can't comment on the long term durability of the Mitsubishi at this point since I've only had it for a few weeks, but so far its performing very well.

Sam & Zach installed my new Heater and AC system on time for this year's hot weather. They were very professional and he seems to be very detailed oriented in making sure the installation not only done properly but looked good , even facing the PVC pipe printing to towards the back. I used this company when I purchased my new heating and cooling system VIA Costco. I will highly recommend their services for others. Although the installation took a while to schedule due to their busy schedule and lack of supplies I was told. I choose the high efficiency furnace this time to save on gas and energy. Now waiting for my $2,300 refund.

They were prompt, on time and courteous. They did a good job and everything passed inspection without any issues. Plan on using MM Comfort Systems for all our HVAC repairs and maintenance.

This is the second time I've hired MM Comfort Systems, first time was through costco, 2nd time I reached out directly. They replaced an old furnace and installed a new AC. They were professional and on time. When they got here they looked through various parts of the ceiling and wall to determine a least intrusive way to route the AC coolant lines. Their patchwork was also well done aesthetically. They installed the components and AC was up and running within 8 hours. Drew and Jason did a great job with the unit, I have already recommended MM Comfort Systems to some neighbors.

They’ve installed a new furnace, a new water heater, water pressure booster pump and other plumbing, and most recently ran new wiring for overhead lighting in two rooms. We’ve always had great experiences and this time was no exception. Jacob and Jacob were efficient and professional and very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend M&M for all systems work.

Had a heat pump installed (Mitsubishi) recently and the installation went fine. The two installers Sam and Tony were just great. They were courteous, jolly and answered all my questions. The reason for the three stars is the customer service. Sam explained that although the install was complete, some parts were not on hand and that someone would call me back during the week to schedule that install. No one did. It took me calling more than once to get someone to respond to my inquiry. Even then, they indicated they would do quite within and get back to me. They didn’t. Took two more calls to get info back to schedule the next date for completing the work. I hope I don’t have the same issue when I have a service call in winter time! To me, exceptional customer service is picking up the phone and talking to your client and explaining the situation, not going back and forth in email. I also strongly believe all sales reps should spend a week with the installers to fully understand what it takes to do an install of all the different systems. In my case, wrong measurements were given to the installers and they didn’t bring enough conduit to complete the work. Poor guy had to drive back from Seattle to Redmond to pickup enough conduit to complete the work. 2 hrs wasted. Time will tell if the equipment does what it is supposed to and I’ll post an update when I have use of the A/C this summer and when I need heat in the winter. Stand by! I may upgrade my rating depending on future service from this company!

I'd like to split my review into two parts, the actual installation, and the process leading up to it. The day of installation and our techs Randy & Clinton were amazing, very professional, quick, and responsive. Our units work perfectly and the installation was painless. However, the lead up to installation was a real pain. I had to go back and forth several times with the initial planner because they kept sending docs that had the AC Units in the wrong place and were missing key elements needed for our HOA approval. In general, our representative was non responsive and I had to call customer service several times just to get them to respond to an e-mail. I understand that this is an insanely busy time in Washington for HVAC installation, but this part of the process was a pain through and through. Overall, the end result is great, so I can't complain too much, but be prepared to have to do some legwork in the lead-up.

Working through Costco with HCA was such an easy process; they were professional, great communication, set expectations, and the follow up after the install was excellent. Chris and his apprentice did a great job. They work was clean and has performed well. We had an issue with the hot water circulation pump but Chris made the corrections. Only reason for the 4 stars is that it took quite a while to get the proposal for the work.

Good technician / installation crew. Horrible sales department. The good: The installation crew were professional and considerate. They got the wrong installation plan from sales department. Yet the crew didn't complain and suggested makeup plans. The final installation was neat. The lines/pipes are cleanly routed and wrapped. They cleanup & vacuum the floor before leaving. I really don't have much to say here, because everything was done well. (Except the wrong plan, but that's not their fault) Travin, Manolo, and John, thank you! You guys did a good job and you deserve 5 stars. The bad: The sales department is horrible. I finally got my heat pump, 7 months past original schedule. They keep saying no supply/equipment. I know that supply chain is challenging these days, and I'm open to changes of plan. It is okay as long as the change is properly communicated and alternative options are discussed. Fine. This is not entirely their fault, or I can't tell for sure. The biggest frustration is not the scheduling but the communication. Communication is within their control and is their job, right? The sales representative I worked with, Tristan, replies emails only after at least a MONTH and only with at least 3 emails and calls from me. He said he received my email, but why he doesn't reply? Not even a short message says "working on it". Phone calls are rarely picked up. Voicemail is always full, so I can't even leave him a message. How can a sales rep do a good job without smooth communication with customers? Not to mention the plan changes I have confirmation in email, was not communicated to the installation crew. I had no choice but leaving negative reviews, and that worked. They called back and scheduled installation within a week. The supply chain suddenly works now, huh? Maybe the management saw the message and went out of their way to fix the problem. If so, thanks. But my message stays the same: why a customer had to leave negative reviews publicly to escalate the issue to management? and why things can't be done right to begin with? If there was an email every week or two, or the sales proposed plan changes after two months delay. or Tristan can reply emails and fix his voicemail. If they did any of these, then none of the frustration above would happen.

MMComfort Systems was the third bid that we received. It took the longest to schedule, but it was definitely worth it to get a top of the line HVAC system professionally installed at a reasonable price. Ruslan and Dallas did an outstanding job installing the furnace and AC! Our dog even liked them! I especially appreciated the time Rus took to answer my questions and walk me through the new system. I also appreciated that MM Comfort was able to schedule the installation, the electricians and the duct cleaning all in 3 days. My wife and I are very happy!

UPDATED: After the most recent visit from the AC repair team, they officially fixed the AC issue. I was very pleased with how quickly the team came out every time we need them. The workers were pleasant to have over and were extremely hard workers. My only issue is with the management team never responding after my 2 attempts. This is my 2nd time writing a review for ANYTHING, so for me to take the time out of my day to sit down and write a review is a pretty big deal. We had home comfort alliance install AC to our central air system in our newly built home. We booked our install date in November 2021 and had the AC system installed in July 2022. It was a long wait but we knew it would be worth it. It wasn’t… We’ve had maintenance out to our house for the 5th time this month with no resolution to our problem. I’ve called on two separate occasions to speak with a manager/supervisor and both times I was told they would contact me and I still haven’t heard from them. We paid for a 9,000$ AC system/installation and haven’t even been able to use it. It blows cold air for a day or two but as soon as the temps outside are over 80. It stops working. If you’re planning on installing AC. STAY AWAY. The wait is ridiculous and the installation is even more outrageous. We’ve had leaks, frozen pipes, all of the above since the install at the beginning of this month! Please do yourself a favor and go with a different company. I would’ve gladly paid the couple thousand more to know that I was having the installation done right.

We are so pleased with the prompt and professional service that MMComfortSystems provided. Lili, the Service Manager was extremely responsive to our broken heater problem. She made sure that she had the correct part in stock so that the repairman could bring it to our home. And he showed up within the hour! Will certainly use MMComfortSystems again!

I called at least 4 plumbing firms to get a leak in a hot water line by our hot water tank repaired. All were out at least a week before they could even come by for an estimate, and one quoted $1100 without even diagnosing the issue. Then called Greg at MM and he took immediate interest and FaceTimed me to further diagnose the issue. He gave me an approximate estimate and said he would try to get someone out that afternoon. Josh then did come to do the repair the same day (!) and suffice to say it was so reasonable I was pleasantly surprised, something I’ve never said before about a plumbing repair. I will be calling MM again for any plumbing or electrical needs.

We just had a new heater and air conditioner put in our home. MM Comfort Systems was fantastic! I got several bids, but there’s was the best by far. They were prompt with correspondence and the whole process was super fast. The estimator Rod Kippes was great and explained all of the options we had, teaching me about how the system worked and answering all of my questions. Install was beautiful and the installers Dan and Alex were so friendly and knowledgeable. They explained how to operate and maintain my furnace and taught me how to program my thermostat. I couldn’t be more happy with my new equipment and would recommend MM Comfort Systems to anyone needing heating and cooling!

Plumbing: I contacted MM Comfort after learning they had started a plumbing division, when they were well already well regarded for their HVAC support. I was so pleased to first reach the administrative side and new head, Greg. We had a great conversation about the scope of work, and he got an estimator out right away. The bid was competitive and Kyle, who provided the bid would also do the work, always a plus for me. Kyle was a great communicator. He maintained that fine balance of explanation without ever hinting at condescension. We hired MM Comfort Systems through Costco to install AC unit for our 3000sqft home. One of the representatives came out in September 2021 to give us the quote. The installation happened in end of January 2022. MM Comfort Systems made the process very easy for us. They got all the permit beforehand and also arranged the electrical inspection for us. All we had to do was schedule the mechanical inspection. in terms of the actual work they did, it consisted of reworking our furnace as the furnace at our new home didn't have a filter installed. They also moved the vent around the furnace so it wouldn't be a fire hazard (people who installed the furnace previously did a terrible job). They placed the AC unit where we wanted in our backyard and handled all the electricals. Before they left, they also walked us through how to use the new thermostat. They really did a wonderful job! It's been about a month since the install and we have been very happy! The weather hasn't been warm enough for the AC to kick in, but they did test to make sure that the cool air was coming out after the install by heating up the house, then setting the AC temperature to low. I highly recommend them!

Our new walk-in tub in our master bathroom required a new hot water heater to provide sufficient hot water for the tub while also maintaining enough hot water for other household uses. Unfortunately, the closet in the garage in which our existing 38-gal water heater lived was too small for larger 50 and 75 gal water heaters. Greg Forsell at MM Comfort Systems came out to the house and carefully evaluated our needs. He then worked with us to determine how much hot water we needed for the new walk-in tub, including calculations for the tub size, our body displacements, and a clever booster/mixer for the hot water tank. He took the time to work out our options and explained clearly to us how to decide among them. Greg went the extra mile for us to come up with with a 50 gal tank with a booster which would replace our existing tank in the closet which would have saved us a good deal of money. But he also gave us the option to go with a larger 75-gal water heater to be installed outside the closet while utilizing the existing venting and water pipes and gas pipes through the closet wall. We were so impressed with Greg's professionalism that we decided to spend more on the 75-gal heater outside the closet. Our installer, journeyman plumber Chris Postiglione, was a very nice young man who came out and worked quickly and efficiently to install the 75-gal hot water heater and plumb it through the closet wall to the existing pipes and vents. The work came out great. We have all the hot water we need. We don't even run out after filling the new walk-in tub. Thank you, Greg and Chris, for a job well done.

Vince came out to provide us with a quote and walk us through all of the available options we had in terms of where we could locate the unit, what types of units were available, and other recommended products and services. Sam & Antonio did the install. They were quick and professional and answered all of the questions I had about how to operate the unit, what the status of the work was, etc. I deducted one star because there was a part that was defective (not their fault) and Sam informed us that the office would reach out to us after they left to schedule someone to come by and replace it. I ended up having to call them after a business day and a half (plus two weekend days) of awaiting further information. I assume they were probably VERY busy but knowing that the inspections were pending had me really anxious.. With that said, this was incredibly minor - just a small point of improvement. When I connected with Hannah in the office by phone, she was incredibly professional, quickly got a technician out to finish the job, and even took the time to register our unit for us. My heating system needed a repair. MM was able to send a technician the same morning I called them. The technician sent me an email to inform me that he was on his way to my house. When he arrived, the technician quickly made a diagnosis and ordered the part needed for the repair using a mobile device. MM called me the next day and told me the part can be installed the following day. The technician arrived in the morning during the scheduled hours and installed the new part without any problems. Overall, MM was very responsive, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. They fixed my heating system in 3 days. I got heat back before the big snow storms hit the Seattle area. I am very appreciative of the service they provided.

I went through Costco to get an air conditioner added into our townhouse condo. The estimate process, install schedule, and the overall project were all completed without any issues. The problem was potentially with our HOA and the possibility of HOA guidelines being against the normal install standards and practices. On the day of the install, Mike & Ina (along with the electrician Kelly) were on time. They were very professional during the entire process and provided a thorough explanation as to why they (MM Comfort Systems) were emphatic in following industry standards, as well as the City guidelines...and emphasized the potential issues we could experience if we were forced to follow the existing HOA guidelines. With their assistance, our HOA now has a better approach and has amended their guidelines regarding AC systems being installed within the community. Todd was great during the consultation stage, he walked us through several options and suggested improvements to our ductwork to maximize efficiency. The installation date itself had to be pushed out since MM Comfort systems did not have the equipment at hand but that is understandable during Covid. After the last heat wave in Seattle with temps crossing 120F, we decided to install an AC and signed up with MMC Comfort Systems through Costco. Tom and Jordan from MMC installed Lennox AC, new Lennox furnace, new Lennox thermostat and filter, and installed new duct system on the second floor so the air can be circulated through the whole house and the whole house gets cooled not just the first floor. We are very happy with the work Tom and Jordan did, excellent quality! We had concerns with routing new duct system as it required cuts thru the ceilings and hardwood floors. Indeed it was quite challenging but Tom and Jordan did a great job minimizing cuts through the hardwood floors and the ceilings. Great quality work, they just nailed it on the first try, super pleased! Tom and Jordan are top notch professionals, glad we had them install our new AC and thank you MMC!

We had one minor issue with what the salesman said could happen vs what the installers were able to do. This did delay our installation by 1 month. It is now installed and is running and cooling excellent. We have a tri-level and were concerned with even cooling, but its cooling all levels great. The installers were very professional, they called prior to arrival, were knowledgeable, and cleaned up all areas they worked. The final installation is very professional in appearance and works as promised. I would recommend to my friends and family. The only reason I gave four stars was the delay of installation due to the issue with what the salesman said and what the installers could do. We love the cool air!

MM Comfort exceeded my expectations for a central A/C installation in multiple dimensions. I got multiple quotes and didn't expect a competitive quote from a Redmond, WA (expensive city!) company. But Jason was one of more competent people that came out to the house to estimate the work, and it took little time to get to a good price. Kind of when you are buying a car and get to a high volume sales person or to a fleet manager. Matt & Sam did the installation in slightly over 1/2 day with no problem. A separate team that managed electrical work came for a short time and left my electric panel in a better shape than it was before. We had a Lennox furnace installed by MM Comfort Systems on Monday. We bought the service through Costco. The installation was scheduled really fast and they actually gave us an even earlier date since they got a cancellation. Sam and Mark showed up in the morning at 7:30 am sharp. They worked hard and installed also the thermostat. After installing the furnace Sam showed us how the thermostat worked and before leaving they cleaned up after themselves. The only thing that we wondered a bit about was the filter unit that was already there - they replaced the filter, but with a too small one! We ended up replacing it with one of our own. Otherwise, the service was great and fast and we were pleased with the result.

Electrical crew installed wiring as requested through unfinished basement. Only issue was electrical cleanup. Spent about an hour vacuuming up shavings from the holes they had to put through joists.

I had a new Lennox Furnace installed through a Costco promotion, so didn't really have a choice in hiring the installers. That's said, MM Comfort was a good choice! We struggled a little in the early stages of planning and contract signing due to lack of responsiveness from the sales rep at the time. Once you're done, no one will call you to confirm anything, not even installation date! The good choice was due to the technician who completed the job. He was very professional, knowledgeable, as well as extremely on time. He explained everything he was doing, and didn't leave until I had a good understanding of the new system. There seemed to be lack of communication between the sales rep and technicians, however, my tech was able to hold his end of the deal to which I am thankful.

This install was part of the Costco and Lennox promotional deal going on. I had MM comfort systems come to my house and install AC onto my preexisting heating system. The salesman quoted them only needing one day of work, but once the actual installers got there the installers quickly let me know it will definitely be two days because the large volume of work required. They needed to move my furnace and install the AC unit which they were not prepared for because in my homes particular situation it was not as simple as most other homes. My furnace is wedged in the attic (3rd floor) and totally surrounded by all the ducting. I figured it was a 2 day job so I wasn't surprised when the installers said they needed 2 days. The electrician was there the first day and he was in and out. Running the new circuit from my breaker box was pretty straight forward. That left the 2 other installers Drew and Lamont. These guys really knocked it out of the park. They worked solidly for 2 whole days, 1 of which was spent crammed in my tiny attic covered in fiberglass insulation. They discovered a bunch of problems with my furnace and were able to fix everything on the spot. These 2 gentlemen are the perfect example of how the blue collar workers carry these companies on their back. These guys showed up, handled all the paperwork, explained permitting, warranties, installed the new AC, redid my furnace, took me through every step of the process because I was curious, AND always stayed professional. I can't praise these 2 guys enough. DREW AND LAMONT DESERVE A RAISE! When everything was said and done. I paid MM to install air conditioning in my house and they did that. And in the process of AC install they also fixed my furnace and now my house feels so much better and comfortable. The price quoted had a little sticker shock but after digesting the fact that I got 15% cash back from Costco and was able to put the install on a credit card and got another 1% cash back I felt good about going forward with the purchase. Despite all the road blocks encountered and the additional work needed, MM stood by their quote. The amount of money i'll save going forward is unknown, but they rewired my furnace so its not constantly blowing 2nd stage air and pulling a ton of amps and now in the summer I won't be running 3 portable AC units. I feel it was a good investment for our home and was executed by a great team of guys.

We paid for a wire pull to be able to use our Nest thermostat which has WiFi but we were told that the wire would not go through the wall. MM responded quickly to fix a problem tub faucet: hot water leaking, cold water didn't run! A puzzling situation. Ryan quickly fixed the leak, but the cold water blockage was mysterious. He cheerfully donned coveralls, boots and a headlamp and descended into our dark, wet and cramped crawlspace to trace the piping, and after some clever detective work found the problem and quickly repaired it. Very impressive, professional work and reasonable fee.

Devon cane out to perform an annual furnace inspection. He called before showing up to see if I wanted to start my appointment earlier than scheduled as a courtesy which I appreciated because this was actually more convenient for me. He got to work and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. He completed the inspection more quickly than I expected. He then brought to my attention that my water heater was on “borrowed time” so I decided to order a new one. This has not yet been installed by MM Comfort Systems. I’ll update this feedback after this job is completed.

I had a scheduling conflict, and my salesperson answered the phone after hours while he was home with his family (I was expecting to leave a voicemail, not bother him). They explained every step of the way so I had no questions. When it came to installation time, Mikey & Randall were awesome. They had great personalities, and were very respectful. My wife is a police officer that works night shift, and they decided to do more outside work early in the day to not disturb her. They also were very sweet to our 2 dogs and cat. They took the time to not only greet us, but greet the animals. They explained everything to us prior to doing it, and ensured that we had no questions prior to leaving. They cleaned up after themselves so well that you couldn't even tell they were there. The next positive experience we had, was with Hannah. She is assisting me in setting up the inspections to make things easier on me. She even was kind enough to register the warranty for my product so I didn't have to worry about figuring it out. I firmly believe that many companies can install AC units without a problem. What separates these companies from MM Comfort, is the customer service and positive interactions that I had with these employees. I would highly recommend this company, and will continue to utilize them for my service needs in the future.

We found the worst situation possible when having a different company come out to quote repairs on a system we inherited with the purchase of our home. The furnace and AC were broken and red tagged, that other company quoted a lower quality system replacement at 5K more than MM. There was a language barrier with my tenant so I asked if they could visually show my tenant how to use the thermostat. MM Comfort Systems (MMCS) is who I was referred to by COSTCO for my AC install. We are a big COSTCO fan and rarely have had issues with anything that we get from COSTCO. This is one of those exceptions, not too bad but not great either. Tristan from MMCS promptly came after scheduling the visit from COSTCO, performed a survey and presented with three options for installing AC. We asked for a two stage AC and were told that the model on Lennox Elite series was on short supply potentially due to pandemic and not readily available. We waited a few months and reached out to MMCS again and they informed us that 2 Stage AC has been discontinued. So we selected one of the single stage AC units and scheduled the install. The quoted price included adding electrical circuit and 100+ft of electrical run for the outside unit. Which we were told was significant amount of work (and cost) as it involved running power from one corner of the house to the other where the exterior unit was supposed to be placed. [OK] Our install was scheduled for a Monday - Tuesday, and it actually started on Friday. Electrical drop was left fo last so it got pushed to following Monday as it was getting late. [Good] Mikel & Ina who performed the install were great. Explained everything in detail. Actually the entire install team was really nice to work with. [Not Great] On the following Monday the electrical team arrived for the work and they informed me that we already have an electrical circuit from an old furnace and they don't have to run the 100+ ft cable nor they need to add a circuit. So we ended up using existing electrical drop. The guys told us that in order to get the credit for this component we should get in touch with MMCS. [??] The following day inspectors from city came to check the install. We failed the initial inspection because a lot of water was found leaking from the unit. Following day MMCS guys came did some caulking amongst other things but were not able to definitively find the fault. Inspectors came again the following day and passed the install. I hope we don't get the leak again once summer really arrives in Seattle. This was all about a month back... Since then [BAD] I have been trying to reach MMCS to see if there would be any credits for what we were told was an expensive component of the install (running electrical drop over 100+ ft). After a lot of messages and mails I was able to get a call back and was told that I would get $375 back out of $10.5K of the install. Which I though was too little but still agreed to.. That's again more than 2-3 weeks back. I am not even getting replies for my messages. I'll conclude by saying that initial service seems good, after service I hope is good but based on my experience I think it's going to be not so great of an experience. Will keep updating as I learn how the system performs over summer.

Drew and Lamont from MM Comfort Systems in Washington State showed up at the house this morning at the agreed upon time to install the air conditioning system. At the start of the project each phase of the install was explained so I would be aware. While inside my home they wore face masks to protect my family and shoe coverings to protect the floors. In addition they used cotton tarps from the front door, down the hall to the staircase and on the second floor hall to the attic opening where the heating system resides. This extra effort wasn't expected, but very much appreciated. I was told to expect completion by 3pm. To my total amazement they were completed right at 3pm. The electrical conduit, refrigerant piping, pad for the condenser have the look of professional installation as one would hope for. Following the install Drew and Lamont spent a good thirty minutes answering all of my what if questions while they were evacuating the copper piping prior to adding the refrigerant. The explained how the pad was staked, the UV protective covering shielding the foam insulation sleeve the copper piping is in, right down to let me know the covering has been primed and can be pained to match the house. I am not one to post, but if MM Comfort Systems preventative maintenance crew is as professional and courteous as their installation team I will retain them to maintain my HVAC system going forward. MM Comfort Systems has just completed installation of my HVAC system. I am very pleased with their work and would recommend them without reservation. I was interested in adding air conditioning to my house. I met with two companies late last year whose bids were comparable to each other but more than I wanted to spend. I decided that I would see what the Costco Program had to offer and they put me in touch with MM Comfort Systems. Russell came out to my house in February to discuss options and got back to me with pricing on several options. With the special promotions that Lennox and MM Comfort were having as well as the Costco cash card, the net price was significantly lower than the other bids. Then Covid-19 came along so I decided to put everything on hold. As things began to open up a little in May, Russell contacted me again to let me know that the Lennox and Costco promotions had increased in value from earlier this year so I decided to restart the project. My big concern was the noise level of the outdoor AC unit. Seattle has a very restrictive noise ordinance that makes it difficult to comply with the code if one has a typical Seattle size lot. Russell had let me know earlier that Lennox was working on a solution and that it was now available for installation. The solution was a Lennox VRF heat pump that has much lower decibel ratings compared to a typical AC compressor. Russell was great at explaining my various options and answering all my questions. I would recommend working with him without hesitation. I decided to go with the VRF heat pump which also required replacing my ageing gas furnace for backup heat. Travin and Kyo arrived on schedule for the installation which required two days of work. They were well versed in Covid prevention including masks and proper social distancing…I was very comfortable with them in my house. They worked hard and efficiently, kept me informed of their progress, and did a great job of cleaning up and explaining use of my new system before they left. I had an issue with the AC not working properly and called Shirley, the installation coordinator. She immediately scheduled someone to come out and take a look. Brian arrived within a few hours and had everything up and running in short order. Both Shirley and Brian were professional and efficient and reinforced my impression that I picked the right company to do the job. In summary, I was very pleased with MM Comfort Systems. All of their employees that I worked with were knowledgeable, professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. In my research for this project, I read many times that the most important decision is to pick the right company to do the installation. My experience is that MM Comfort fits this requirement.

MM was one of several companies I considered for replacing my gas furnace and adding central air conditioning. They presented a competitive bid that minimized intrusive changes but met my needs using a ductless heat pump (plus a new furnace, but it will hardly be used since the heat pump provides both heat and A/C except for very low temperatures). Since MM works through Costco, I also received attractive discounts and financing. Joe and Travin figured out a high-standard and creative way to install this system, not always an easy task due to the age of my Capitol Hill townhouse (built 1946). They communicated well and completed the task efficiently in 1.5 days. They cleaned up too. In the MM office, Jason, Shirley, and Hannah did a great job of communicating with me and answering any questions. If I have a quibble, it would be that the very high-tech thermostat MM installed is unwieldy to use and has a hard-to-read display. But it does seem to be operating the system properly. I highly recommend that you consider MM. I would hire them again.

Update: MM Comfort Systems contacted me after getting my feedback from Costco. They worked with me on the cost of the last repair and seemed to really care about my experience. I still have my doubts about the longevity of my system, but MM Comfort has regained some of my trust. Updated to 3 stars from 1. Original review: I purchased a Lennox system for heating and cooling from MM Comfort Systems through Costco. The experience has been horrible. First off, the sales people made inaccurate claims when selling me the system. Within the first year, the entire outside heat pump had to be replaced. as well as the interior heads' circuit boards which left me without heat for much of last fall. MM Comfort Systems and have gruff repair people who give contradictory information (one said it was bad to turn a head unit off, the other said it was okay), and they charge $99 per instance to just drive out and look at the system after the first year. They have been out to service the equipment over a dozen times in 18 months. Now the drain tubes plugged up and spray water like a garden hose all over the bed it was installed above. According to the technician the only options are for them to blow them out for $200 or I have to buy an air compressor to do it myself. Do yourself a favor, look elsewhere. I have had nothing but headaches and regrets.

He cleaned the filthy condenser coils (extra service which he priced and I approved beforehand), checked out the AC system's operations (wearing shoe covers when he came inside to check the temperature of the vent airflow), and he cleared a blockage in the condensation drainage pipe. It wasn't cheap, but I don't know what others charge for the same services, so I can't judge the value. All I know is Vitalii arrived on time, did the job professionally and quickly, and couldn't have been nicer, and that's an "A" in my book. :)

Overall , challenging and disappointing experience. Found MM Comfort Systems through Costco and ordered a Mini-Split Heat pump with four indoor units to provide heating and cooling to our home. Installation was excellent. Drew and Lamar from MM were professional and courteous and patiently helped map out unit placement. We brainstormed together about distribution of indoor units and outdoor heat pump to be aesthetically pleasing as well as practical. Sales rep Derrick, however, was not realistic about the placement of units in our home requiring one indoor unit to be placed with an extremely long connection to the main Mini-Split heat pump outside. Since installation we have been plagued by LEAKS in the HVAC system leading to poor heating and cooling functionality. We have needed multiple maintenance visits and just when we think the problem is repaired, it recurs. I don't know if this has do with the initial installation or the long connection length to one of the units or other factors, but this has not been the solution to our home heating and cooling needs we were looking for.

We had MM Comfort Systems replace our 20+ year old gas furnace with a Carrier Performance 96% AFUE gas furnace. After getting quotes from 4 other HVAC vendors, we opted to go with MM Comfort Systems -- their prices were reasonable, they had good reviews and their work included a 5-year "peace of mind" guarantee. Tristan, who came to do the estimate, was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and the very professional, and Zack who was part of the 2-person installation team, was the same (our furnace was installed in 5-6 hours, and we appreciated the fact that the guys cleaned up afterwards). I accidentally turned off the furnace after the installers left and 1-2 hours later, we had no heat and the thermostat was dark. I called MM and within 30 mins, Zack called back to help troubleshoot remotely (and was good natured about my faux pas). That's the Good. The Bad: 1. The other installer, who was also friendly, didn't wear his mask all the time, and when he did, often had his mask below his nose. 2. On Saturday, 4 days post-installation, I opened the closet to check on the furnace and found water on the floor. I called MM's main line, left a voice mail; also called the CEO's direct # but his mailbox was full. Couldn't find a 24/7 phone # to call even though their web site refers to one. On Sunday, after replacing 4 towels that we'd placed on the closet floor to absorb the leaks, I emailed MM to ask them to send someone out ASAP. UPDATE MM Comfort Systems called first thing Monday morning and had someone over to fix the leak within hours, so I've changed my rating accordingly.

Just had a new Carrier two-stage variable speed 97% efficiency furnace installed by MM Comfort Systems. It replaced a noisy, HOT, American Standard furnace that only lasted 13 years. Wow what a major difference - especially quiet and a much more uniform level of temperature delivery. The crew called 25 minutes before arriving (on time too) to let me know they were nearby and couldn't have been more pleasant and skilled at their craft. I was pleased with the work done by Bill and his helpers. The first day was a big challenge because we were not sure we had the clearances to even install the air conditioning coil in the existing furnace. Much to my relief, we were able to do That. James came out to offer his ideas, which helped. But in the end it was getting the inspector's approval to go with existing clearances, which allowed the installation to go as planned. I liked the quietness of the outdoor compressor unit. The inspector did not like the orientation so we shall see if further work is required. He failed the mechanical inspection for orientation reasons - the company disagrees with him - we'll see how that ultimately gets resolved. The electrical inspection failed, but was easily fixed the next day by the electrician adding a short piece of ground wire to a wire nut in the adjacent outlet. The returning inspector passed that inspection. I have been very happy with the way the house is being cooled. Now I just with I had done this years ago. What an improvement. We get to enjoy living in rooms that previously would just get too hot in the summer sun.

They removed my old furnace, replaced it with a shiny new one, and made it fit in my garage- a new space, but they were able to use much of the old ductwork. I would be very cautious about the "deal" offered by Costco and MM Comfort Systems. If you sign up through Costco to get a bid for a new furnace, MM will not provide a bid with their regular pricing so, as a customer, there is no way of knowing how much you are saving as a Costco member. I was considering bids from two other HVAC providers. MM notified me of the deadline of when the "deal" ended. On the final day when I was making my decision, I asked for a couple of extra hours to make the decision. They would not allow any extra time and said that it was Costco's decision. I asked to speak to a manager and was told, he was "too busy". Based on this experience, I chose to do business with Evergreen Eastside Heating and Air Condition. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and upfront about the pricing.

Update: After posting my dissatisfaction a week ago, Ryan, an MM business owner responded by scheduling a walk through with, Daniel J. one of their experienced installers. I must say that Daniel was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent representative for the company. We feel that he went above and beyond in terms of his consultation and very quick follow up with a very competitive proposal. For his efforts, I am raising my review to 2-stars with a possible opportunity to earn better as we continue our interactions. When at Costco in Kirkland, we scheduled a consultation for a home remodel. The representative was very friendly. After scheduling an appt, we were later contacted by an MM Representative who was somewhat arrogant and rude over the phone. She said the warehouse representative had incorrectly scheduled the appointment because of our remodel was extensive and considered new construction. Huh? She canceled our appt and said another division would contact us in a few days. During the next call, the representative was also very rude telling us they were booked out 3 months and not willing to schedule an appt at this time. There is something not right about your service model. Good for you if you have so much business that you can get away with being rude and avoid scheduling appointments. I've also contacted Costco to recommended they choose a better, more customer service oriented partner with more capacity to meet the demand.

The Lennox heat pump, while advertised as a quiet unit, is louder than I expected. The unit vibrates when running and that seems to create a noise level that is unfortunate. My system made high pitch noise inside and didn't cool or heat. Cardinal Heating diagnosed inside TXV valve fail. They said replacement of whole indoor coil might work or safer to replace whole system. They said TXV parts not available. After they left I found TXV valve for sale easily myself. So they lied. I called MM Comfort. Told them about Cardinal's TXV diagnosis. Plamen Tzenkov connected his gauges and immediately says that my fluid has leaked out. In a few minutes he finds the leak at the outside coil. So the inside coil and TXV valve are fine. He repairs the leak with no parts needed and refills the system with fluid. It works perfectly now. Thank you Mr Tzenkov! You are the master.

We had a service contract with another company and they tried three times to locate the issue but were unable to.So we called MM they were available to see me the same week, Devin was prompt and did a thorough inspection. He knew right away what the problem was. Explained to me what was wrong and how that part functioned. Unfortunately for us the factory warranty on that part had expired. In order to make the installation as unobtrusive as possible, Jesse somehow wedged himself into the tiny eaves that run along the side of the house (18" high at the tallest point!). Ultimately, we went with a different contractor that was less money (due to a great special & because the other company sold a different brand & that company was also closer to our home). There was a crew of 12-15 for 5 days. Full central heating and cooling as well as a tankless water heater. The catch is, operationally they are a bit of a cluster on the backend. The firm has to submit your rebates to the city and Costco and I'm still waiting 2 months later. The cost of an efficient furnace costs thousands of dollars. And for that price, it'll be prudent to get two or more companies for quotes to replace a unit lest you go with Costco's line of installed products and services. We think a vetted company in their choice list is adequate to consider a meeting (assuming the service is available in our area) MM comfort systems' first visit seemed speculative. The salesperson, Bob Harrison did most of the information sharing. Our meeting involved: -looking at the existing unit -measuring the space for new appliance(s) -recommending unit(s) suitable to our needs -getting a layout of the house -identifying concerns such as sagging and poorly insulated ductwork, unclean vent hood -checking the tonnage -discussing SEER rating, brand, efficiency and -giving us a quote. The 2nd meeting adressed concerns regarding online reviews,consumer feedback, selecting a more efficient unit, more measuring, getting permits and finalizing the orders. These scheduled meetings took 2+ hours each time. Bob Harrison didn't wear the high pressure of salesmanship but he was proud to inform us that his company is the best service provider in our area. The company employs a 'legion' of muscle and talent to replace a furnace; check electrical panel; add a heatpump, a thermostat..all of which requires proper installation (and eventually, regular maintenance). About 5 people showed up within a week to assess a possible location, to replace and install a new furnace, check the electrical panel, add a heat pump and replace the thermostat. The project took 2 days. Quinn and Brian were our main guys. They were punctual and conducted themselves professionally. Their team was quite thorough, knowledgeable, provided a visual when the space seemed tight and more importantly, respected our privacy. The last hour of the 2nd day is the testing of equipment. They walk you through an install checklist, hand you the permits and added literature you need to read for inspections to be scheduled by you and by their company...electrical first followed by mechanical (gas and ductwork) Your city has building codes you need to follow and note that TIME is of the essence. (7 days being the magic number ) Inspection 1 electrical (the company handles the scheduling but you have to go online to check the date of your inspection -you will get an electrical work permit that has your permit number and authorization code to gain access; you can type messages as well) Inspection 2 mechanical (this inspection is scheduled by you through your city's permit coordinator after you are done with the electrical inspection ) Finally, registering the new equipment online for updates and information pertaining to the units and additional warranties on qualifying equipment. (Registration within 60 days of installation ) Seems overwhelming at first but anytime we have questions, Bob Harrison is a 'help' text message away. From what we've seen, MM is a reputable company who will install units properly and offer a service contract for regular inspections and repairs. We give our perfectionists 5 stars!

Excellent. 5 star. Your technician, Robert, arrived on time. He was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Turned out the fan motor on the furnace was burned out so he ordered a replacement & came back next day to install it. A less competent tech might have installed the new motor and let it go at that, but he figured out WHY the motor had blown. The impeller was choked with dust which he took outdoors to clean lest dust get in the house. Then he figured out WHY so much dust was in the impeller. The filter had flopped out of position (a poor job of installing the furnace 8 years ago, not by MM Comfort) and needed to be taped in place to perform correctly. He did that & instructed me to do it when changing filters. Everything now works fine & Robert's going the extra mile is appreciated.

Heater went out on the coldest day of the year. We had figured it was the thermostat, but the tech quickly evaluated the situation and determined that somewhere along the tube that carries the water from the furnace there was probably a frozen section.
