Had Evergreen replace our gas furnace with new high efficiency Heat pump to go with our solar power. We got quotes from 6 different companies in the area. Evergreen was not the lowest, but they seemed to be very knowledgeable and clear with their quotes (some gave of dozens of quotes, some just gave us a number with no details). They were also very quick and VERY good with communications (unlike some other contractors we had). They guys that came out to do the installation did a great job walking us through the project and made a suggestion after inspecting the space for a change to install that made perfect sense and made the install look even better. They completed the project on time and were great with inspection (soft fail that they addressed same day and got inspector to approve). Overall of all the projects we've done recently, the experience with Evergreen was the best. We've been very happy with the unit keeping our house both cool and warm.

We had Evergreen do a heat pump install on our 1920s house. We got a bunch of quotes, and Evergreen came in right around the middle to slightly high end. John Mott, who came out to quote the project was the only sales guy that actually took measurements, made notes of our window types, and did some calculations as to what type of system would work. All the other folks from different companies just came in and without really looking at anything just started quoting ideas. I ended up running some of the other folks ideas through John too - who was happy to talk about those options, and quote on that if we wanted. It turns out that John's approach was the most logical for our house, which is what we went with. Install was super smooth. Installers did amazing work, were neat and tidy, and got everything done on time. The full project was a heat pump outside, mini-splits in the top floor, and a furnace replacement/air exchanger that covers the main floor of the house. We are super happy with the system - it's been great already with the hot summer here in Seattle. Highly recommend Evergreen for heat pump installs

Technician was in touch with me about arrival time. He was respectful and professional and inspired confidence. He delivered bad news with empathy and understanding and clearly outlined possible solutions and the timeline for which I could expect further communication. I trusted him. The diagnosis fee was reasonable and that fee will be applied to a needed new furnace. He clearly explained financing options and general pros & cons of different heating systems. I would highly recommend.

The service we received from EHH&E for maintenance or a cleaning on our furnace was always prompt, courteous, and reasonably priced. When we decided to have AC installed naturally we went with Evergreen. During our research stage, Scott patiently answered all of our questions no matter how many times we may have asked them, he was very knowledgeable, and he was quick to respond when we left a message. The installation went very smoothly. James provided heaters for the time period we would be without heat. He always wore a mask which I appreciated and he took his shoes off when he came into the house. He gave a thorough explanation of how the unit works and operating instructions. And, the area was left clean after the work was done.

He carefully explained all of my options and details needed to install a much needed efficiency upgrade to 96%. He was completely knowledgeable about most of the possible products in the marketplace. On the upside, every staff person at Evergreen is very professional and willing to explain things from the estimate to follow up service. Initial delays in communication about finalizing my order were annoying but once ordered, they stuck to their original install date in spite of supply chain hold ups. Install was about 4 months after ordering and they were prompt and completed a complicated install in exactly 2 days. Hard as it was to consider less than 5 stars, they did leave the work site with a mess of broken walkway siding, a large dirt hole next to the new compressor and significant piles of mud on the walkway - basically mounds of clay that hardened the next day and I am still working to remove them. They were very apologetic and offered an extended warranty, but honestly what I needed was a work crew to clean it all up. The unit never did properly turn the AC on and it took 2 weeks of calls with service folks and suggested "fixes" to finally get them to believe me that the AC just wasn't working. Luckily the service tech was able to fix it today with some high temps forecasted next few days. 24/7 emergency service was very responsive and tech explained everything carefully. All that to say that kindness and respect go a long way to make up for problems incurred. Now for the ultimate test of upcoming hot summer days.

We appreciate Evergreen. We have had nothing but positive experiences. We had a cancellation on a previously scheduled tune up on our heater system and rescheduling was not a problem. Evergreen called us regarding a customer cancellation and was able to get us an appointment sooner. Most of our experience with Evergreen has been through their tech Jesse. He is fantastic. He defines professionalism, is warm, nonjudgmental, and has a splendid sense of humor. He is highly detail orientated and it’s obvious he cares about the work he does. He explains everything well, walks you through the process, and never upsells or engages in high pressure sales. We love the fact that it has been Jesse each time with our service as opposed to a random dude each time. I think that is one solid and tangible piece of evidence that Evergreen has class and cares about their customers. Many places preach customer service this customer service that, customer service is at the forefront of everything we do, blah blah blah. With Evergreen (and specifically Jesse) we have found that to be true. Which is increasingly rare. So with that we hope Jesse gets the multiple raises he deserves, and will continue to call and refer folks to Evergreen for heating needs.

We had a heat pump installed to replace our old oil furnace. From the quote process, to the installation, to the final walk through, Evergreen did a great job with the project. All 3 technicians were methodical, organized, and communicated clearly. They have high standards for their craftsmanship. We had a non-standard electrical setup and they were able to accommodate this with high quality problem solving. Overall our experience was great. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We had a great experience working with Evergreen to have heat/AC mini splits installed. The initial consult recommended a single large outdoor unit, but then when instalation started they saw that this would end up covering the back of our home with venting. They quickly pivoted to 2 separate outdoor units at minimal extra cost. The installation process was quick and the work done to high standards. They even sent their electrician back after we were all done (and paid) to help fix an issue with our car charger that was relatd to the install.

We want to deeply appreciate the folks at Evergreen for their excellent service installing our new furnace. This was a challenging experience, largely because of the pandemic and supply chain shortages. HVAC supplies are hard to find and Evergreen worked diligently to locate the needed components. After the first install, they came out to adjust the system, which is when they discovered a loud cracking sound from the new unit. They worked with the manufacturer to, rather than repair it, actually completely replace it at no charge, which was a great relief to us – these systems are not cheap. A special shout-out to Chris O and Victoria G for supporting us so well along the way!

This is an excellent company. I had Evergreen install a new ductless HVAC system. Their bid was very fair and the salesperson was on time and answered all my questions. Installation took three days as promised. I've had the system now for two years and it has performed flawlessly. It still tests above spec. From beginning to end including two annual service calls Evergreen has met or exceeded our expectations . I highly recommend them to anyone needing heating and/or cooling equipment or service.

We received 3 quotes from different companies for ductless heat pumps and installation. All were about the same price, however, Evergreen was the most thorough during their appraisal. They took measurements, estimated our insulation rating, and asked us about our aesthetic preferences for the piping outside of our house. During installation, the technicians all wore face masks and took off their shoes while inside! I felt very safe and impressed. The technicians were also very professional and truly care about their work. They checked everything once finished to make sure that their work was perfect. I can't recommend Evergreen enough!

Evergreen was suggested to us from Nextdoor and after calling them up, John Mott came to our house to provide us a quote. He was extremely nice and walked us through each and every part of the process and also did a thorough assessment of the kind of machine we needed to install and also provided a number of options. We went ahead to upgrade our system to a heat pump and on the way of the job, they were nice enough to do minimal damage to upgrade the job and did an extremely nice job. Evergreen replaced our ancient oil furnace with a brand spankin' new Heat Pump system and it's gorgeous. They had 3 teams working in parallel around different areas of the house (attic, individual rooms, backyard) to set the whole system up. They were scheduled from 8-5 everyday for 3 days. I just had Evergreen remove an old oil furnace and replace it with a modern heat pump, retrofit my second floor (old lathe and plaster construction) with air vents because it didn't have any, and add central AC. These guys did an awesome job. Super friendly and knowledgeable. They were always gentle and respectful of my 95 year old house and kept everything reasonably clean during the whole process. It was a big job, but they completed it in the amount of time promised and for the agreed upon price. My new system is whisper quiet and the house feels great!

He laid out all the options for repair and when we elected to forego repair in place of just installing a new one, he laid out our options and the pros and cons of each. Alex did a very professional job performing the maintenance on our furnace. We moved into a new home and were unfamiliar with the electric furnace and smart pad thermostat with all the different settings and had a lot of questions. As Alec performed the maintenance he explained what he was doing and things we needed to look for as far as routine maintenance, dust control, filter replacement etc... He the proceeded to show me that there was a older humidifier that was no longer used that was set up for a previous furnace that was installed at one time. The humidifier was still hooked to the plumbing but not to the newer furnace currently in the house. The old humidifier had a very small water leak that was leaking behind the furnace that could have eventually created big problem. Alex removed the old humidifier and fixed the water problem at no extra cost. After the work was completed in the furnace and heat pump Alex then explained to us all the many functions on the smart pad controller. He made it quick and easy to understand versus reading the several different manuals I found on the internet. Great experience with Evergreen, Alex the technician and at very reasonable price for their maintenance. I highly recommend.

Because of her competence, I ended up looking into the air scrubber clean air filtration system.. Evergreen Home Heating and Energy was the fourth ductless heat-pump installer we requested a quote from. For our particular job, their quote came in 30% lower than the competing quotes for the same scope of work and equipment. Additionally, the Evergreen staff took the time to carefully review our home and evaluate our heating and cooling needs comprehensively. The instillation went very smoothly - the on-site team worked diligently and considerately. Although we were working from home during the three days of instillation, the installers were never in our way and did everything they could to minimize noise and disruption while we were working. After the instillation was complete, they reviewed all the details of the system with us and gave us clear instructions for permitting and regular system maintenance. Had a great experience getting a new furnace with Evergreen. The estimator, Scott, was super knowledgeable and communicative. They did a heating calculation and prepared detailed estimates for several options. Their prices were the best of very competitive for all options compared the two other contractors I got quotes from. What really set them apart though was their approach to the install. Both the other contractors wanted to simply bore two holes through my beautiful brick exterior walls for the exhaust and condensate. My furnace sits 2 feet from a chimney with three chases and 3 feet from a basement utility sink. Evergreen wanted to use one of the chases for the exhaust pipe (no need for exterior hole one) and have the condensate go directly to the sink (no need for hole two or concerns about the condensate line freezing). I almost begged the next company's estimator to consider this approach and he wasn't having it ("we'll do it how we want to do it, who cares what the customer wants..."). Anyway, I would highly recommend Evergreen.

We called Evergreen because The CO detector started going off. It was still very cold out and smack-dab in the middle of the COVID pandemic. I was scheduled immediately, and the tech (Alec) called me 30 min before arriving. I don’t know how many times I’ve been told by a dispatcher that the “tech will call before arriving” and then they suddenly appear without notice. So, I appreciate that it actually happened, and has taken place each of the scheduled visits. Our furnace was related without the stress of feeling like I was being taken advantage of. We were sold a comparable new unit and the installation was completed in less time than anticipated. The lead tech Alec was very professional, calming and patient. He walked me through the installation, thermostat use and gave an overall summary. Since then, he’s responded to my calls/emails for basic questions and THAT goes a long way in securing a long term partnership. Kudos to the Evergreen team!

Evergreen installed a new hybrid heat pump system in my house. After researching the options, Evergreen was not only the most reasonable price, but they also scoped out a hybrid system where they would install new duct work and a single air exchanger in the attic and a minisplit in the basement. Scott, the sales person, did not try to upsell me on number of zones (others tried to get me to get 2 units in the basement) and after 2 months with the system, the single unit in the basement is heating the whole basement to our needs. All this was done at a price still considerably lower than the "standard" system price being offered by one of the bigger, similarly named companies. Evergreen was also the only company to propose a hybrid system where they would install a single exchanger in the attic and run new ceiling ducts to the rooms. This was appealing because we don't need to have the cassettes in each room and we didn't need to line the outside of the house with conduit for the cassettes (also the bathroom gets heat, too). Scott was great to work with, answered all my questions, and did his best to size the system correctly. Installation was smooth. There was a small hiccup where the installer accidentally broke a basement window, but Evergreen squared it away. Don and his team were great and the inspections passed. After install support has been great. Denise has been responsive to my questions. Overall, the experience was great with Evergreen and I highly recommend them.

Their estimators were so busy we had to wait a few weeks for an estimate. When John Mott came to the house I was really impressed with his approach and knowledge. John did a very comprehensive survey, and sent me a copy of that the same day. We discussed, with John, several ideas regarding moving the furnace and possibly adding air conditioning. I was very pleased with Evergreen Heating performance and customer service. I compared Evergreen Heating with two other vendors, Evergreen had the best quoting process and the most professional looking. Evergreen uses a computer program based off the windows in the home and not a formula using the number of registers. Ultimately another vendor and Evergreen suggested the exact same Trane furnace, but Evergreen had the lowest price and provided a wireless thermostat. The installation of the Trane furnace went quickly and efficiently. But what really impressed me was Scott's customer service. Three minor issues popped up with the billing, the thermostat, and the pump. I contacted Scott and he quickly addressed all 3. He had the billing fixed immediately, and came to the house to set up the thermostat to a special setting I had before, plus addressed the pump issue himself. Scott also made sure that I received all rebates possible. It is the extra steps that Evergreen Heating and Scott went too that made me write this review and make them the company I would recommend for a furnace replacement. The best price helped too.

Worked with Evergreen over my 6 month process to switch from an oil furnace to gas. WOW - they are amazing - quick call backs, easy to understand quote with options depending on budget and priorities, super speedy email follow up. Price-wise, they came in close to the other quotes I received, but the customer service and communication was FAR BETTER than any other company I spoke with. If you want a solid system, and to work with people who are informed, patient, and skilled, Evergreen is the way to go. Jesse came out on time - and after venturing into my crawl space quickly diagnosed that it had a bad igniter (and could once again put off replacing the thing). He pointed out they offered a service plan - but suggested I skip it due to my furnace being so close to the end of its life span. Mentioned removing my existing furnace and replacing it with a new similar one would cost about $2800 total. Very happy with the experience - will definitely use Evergreen in the future.
