Had a fantastic overall experience with Blue Best. When spec'ing a new top-of-the-line high efficiency furnace and AC system, they were able to outbid competitors by 20-25% for a system with better specs! The sales manager, Shawn, happily answered all my technical questions and concerns and was extremely responsive, even on weekends and after hours. Come installation day, Blue Best showed up with a large crew in 3 company trucks and man how they hustled! Both systems were fully installed by the end of the first day, with some minor ductwork and a steam humidifier installed on the second. I checked in regularly with their crew and every one I spoke to was patient and professional. Their quality of work was also top notch - all the electrical and duct runs were clean and neat, all registers and thermostats perfectly straight and level. In the end, my only critique was some additional caulking around where the refrigeration lines entered the house, which they happily fixed. For such a massive and complex job with expensive equipment, I am extremely impressed at how quickly they got it done, the quality workmanship, and how professional they were. I am happy to give Blue Best my business, and a personal thanks to the sales manager, Shawn, and the amazing crew that did the install: Ethan, Dave, Jared, Ricardo, and Brandon (hope I didn't miss anyone!).

They hit it out of the ball park with excellence on my install project. Totally pleased with all aspects of the HVAC systems installs done by Blue Best. My noisy, inefficient and dirty 20 and 30 year old units are gone, and replaced with very quiet, super clean, and efficient units. When we met at my house, KATY the owner was well prepared and gave me 4 estimate options after she understood my needs. Everything was shown to me very clearly on her tablet, with graphics and unit models specified. After I chose the preferred option, and tweaked a few things, she texted me a detailed estimate for 3 Lennox top notch unit installs (A 80% AFUE Furnace for downstairs, A 96% AFUE Furnace and a 18 SEER Heat Pump for upstairs). Her estimate was far more appealing than the estimates from other HVAC Companies. Her estimate was spot on, and I paid exactly what was quoted when the project was finished. Also they will take care of getting my substantial \rebate incentives from Rocky Mountain Power and Dominion Energy. Three days later they started the project, texting me with details about the team members that were arriving. DAVE was the team leader, who made sure all install challenges had a solid solution for the team members. I also got to pick his brain on HVAC trade offs and technology, and was blown away by his depth and expanse. There was also an existing kinked copper AC line that Dave spotted and fixed by inserting a right angle copper joint, which should have been done a long time ago by previous installers. Also added UV resistant insulation outside to the AC line. I really appreciate the attention to detail and going the extra mile to do it right the first time. CURTIS did much of the installs and ductwork. The way he routed new intake and exhaust pipes in a very crowded maze of existing ducts was quite beautiful (see pic). He actually communicated quite well with me about the intricacies and configurations of the systems being installed. LANDON was CURTIS’S diligent and savvy assistant. He was busy doing all kinds of detail work and moving in and out of the house for parts. NED also helped Curtis get pipes routed in and out of the house in short order. KATY dropped by with lunch for her team, which I thought was very cool. At the end of that first day they asked me if I wanted them to stay till late to finish the job. I said no, as everyone was obviously working their butts off all day long. Not a slacker in the bunch. The next day CURTIS and LANDON breezed through to the completion of the project. I absolutely love when I get treated fairly and honestly by professionals who really are skilled in what they do. My dentist is like that, and I have stuck with him for about 30 years. My doctor is like that, and I have been with him for 5 years. My mechanic is like that, and I have been with him for two years. My HVAC professionals are now BLUE BEST, and I believe I will be sticking with them for the long haul as well. I am so thankful for the high quality professionals in my life, and for the Peace of Mind they instill, and how fun it is to be in their presence. I highly recommend getting estimates from BLUE BEST for your HVAC needs. They really are all about excellent customer service and know what they are doing in the complicated and mysterious realm of HVAC science and application.

Katy and her team were amazing to work with! Our heater had stopped working in the winter time and our home was freezing. By the following day, our home was warm and cozy again. Katy went over our options and depending on budget, and gave us her professional opinion. We felt comfortable going with Blue Best because of the great reviews. Katy has so much experience and knows what she’s doing. We also loved that the business is women-owned! Please don’t let that deter you, you won’t be disappointed. We had our AC unit and furnace replaced and we didn’t have to worry about the rebates - that was all taken care of for us! It was such an easy decision to go with Blue Best. Blue Best Heating & Air is an amazing company. We had our 20-year-old furnace and AC unit replace. We had about 3 other companies do a bid for us. We chose Blues Best because of their thorough contract bid and their professionalism. Katy Higgins is not only the owner of the company, but she was our project manager. The installation took a day and couldn't go any smoother. The technicians arrived on time and are personable and friendly. The quality assurance person came a couple of days later to make sure everything was installed correctly, etc. He was also on time and friendly. I will recommend this company to anyone!

Our experience with Blue Best has been great! I received four bids from four different companies and was impressed with the knowledge of Shawn in regards to the needs of our home. We ended up going with a heat pump over a traditional AC unit. It’s been a week, and so far so good. The unit itself is very quiet and smaller than our previous AC. Curtis and Rocky were great installers. They answered all of my questions and walked me through the system. Blue Best will file the warranty and complete the rebates with the power company, so that’s an added bonus! Overall great experience!

It was great working with Blue best! Katy was very knowledgeable and recommended a great product for me. Other companies were recommending much bigger units based off of the oversized unit that was installed 26 years ago. Katy looked at the situation through a more nuanced lens and helped me get set up with a product that better suited my needs. I would definitely recommend Blue Best for an AC install and give them 10 stars if it was possible. To start out I had a bunch of different companies come out to give me price estimates and information and this is why I chose Blue Best. First of all Katy the owner came out to give me an estimate for how much it would cost and what needed to be done for the AC to be installed. She was super friendly and gave me all the information that I needed and answered all my questions. She gave me the prices for the two types I was thinking about and also emailed it to me. Blue Best was the best price compared to the other companies except for one other. But she won out because she was so nice and informative. Next the two guys Brandon and Jake came to do the install. They came when they said they would be here and did a great job. I was really impressed that they covered my stairs with a tarp so my carpet wouldn’t get dirty from them going up and down the stairs. They also cleaned up afterwards so everything was cleaner than when they got here. They definitely went the extra mile when it came to their service. I will definitely use Blue Best for the future when I need a new heater. Thank you Katy, Brandon and Jake for being awesome.

Katy, Jared, Alex, and Jake were all fantastic. When Katy met with me to provide me with options to have A/C installed in my home she was thorough, transparent, and helpful. She was easily the most trustworthy person we had received information from. The other companies wouldn't answer our questions as clearly or as in depth and the end result were quotes that were 25% higher and more. When Jared, Alex, and Jake arrived at my home they explained what they would be doing and about how long it would take and answered any additional questions I had. They finished my a/c install, furnace replacement, and a supply and return duct install in the same day. Jared then walked me through the finished product and I couldn't have been more please with the work they had done. The team was amazing and professional! I wish I could give them a higher rating.

I am very impressed with Blue Best Heating & Air. First of all the salesman Shawn, who came out to us to give us our pricing and options, was extremely professional and courteous. He was not pushy and was very knowledgeable and was aware of not only what they offered, but what we had, which was over 25yrs old. The day of installation I was sent a text letting me know that Brandon and Jared were on their way and gave me a small bio letting me know a little bit about who I was letting come in my home. This is a long one, but it’s the only way to explain what an awesome job Blue Best’s team did. A HUGE thank you to Blue Best! Their team is top of the line, and I don’t say that lightly. I called on a Monday morning and spoke to Tami almost in tears because we had been without AC for 5 days in middle of August. We originally called another company who strung us along for 5 days and ultimately told us we would have to pay top dollar for a mid efficiency system AND they wouldn’t be able to install the system for at least 2 more weeks! When I talked with Tami she immediately understood the time sensitivity, and was able to get her salesman, Shawn, out to us the very same day just a few hours later. Shawn sat with us for 3+ hours explaining the ins and outs of the different systems and our best options. He gave us his honest opinion for our situation and guided us in making our decision. Guided being the key word, he NEVER pushed us a certain direction the way lots of sales people do. We ultimately decided on a new Daikin AC and furnace. Shawn guaranteed his team would be able to install the new system just 2 days later. On Wednesday, Jared, Brandon, their apprentice Gary showed up and got right to work. It was a big job, and they were here all day and even into the night working in the heat. Every member of their team was friendly, personable, hard working and patient with all of our questions. I didn’t realize it was possible to make someone feel so comfortable spending such a large sum of money, but they really did! We appreciate the hard work Blue Best, and will be recommending your team every chance I get!

After having a swamp cooler that doesn't do squat in the high heats of the summer as well as an old and outdated heater we received quotes from many places and we loved the professionalism from Blue Best as well as the reasonable cost. Ethan and Curtis installed our new heat pump heater and air conditioning professionally and were very pleasant. As a DIY guy myself it seemed like they knew exactly what they were doing which makes a huge difference for me. It has been a several weeks since they installed it and there has been no issues and it has been working just amazing. It was 103°F this week and a cool 75°F in the house. My wife and I are just ecstatic with our purchase.

Top notch service! Our furnace died, no heat starting on a Thursday night - forecast to be in the teens overnight and for the foreseeable future. To say slightly panicked is an understatement. The folks at Blue Best responded quickly and professionally. Shawn arrived at our house quickly evaluated our needs and provided a quote for the equipment he felt was right for us. Dave the installer and his helper Alex arrived Monday morning to install a new furnace and AC. Very efficient and great guys. Cleaned up totally behind themselves which was greatly appreciated. Our experience with Blue Best was fantastic! From the first call and sells part to the install, everything was great. Can't recommend them enough. They were not pushy or trying to sell us things we don't need. Their price was extremely competitive - we got quotes from all the other big HVAC guys in the area and theirs was the best - for the exact same system and warranty. Shawn, who gave us the quote, was very responsive and answered all the questions we had before making a decision. Daniel and Ethan who installed the ductless mini split AC were amazing. They came to the house on time every day, they finished faster than quoted, kept the house extremely clean and we're very respectful to us and the house as a whole. They even vacuumed after themselves at the end of the day!! We've never had people working in the house before that were that respectful of the house. We cannot say enough good things about the entire Blue Best team. Highly, highly recommend their services. Thank you guys!

After yet another issue with my old evaporative cooler I decided it was finally time to have AC installed. This was something I had put off for a while because I was concerned about the cost and potential complexity given my homes unique layout. When I called Blue Best, they had Shawn out the next day to take a look at things. He made himself continuously available to answer all my questions and concerns, even after I signed the papers. I was pleasantly surprised with their bid and they had a crew out a few days later. We ran into some roadblocks and had to go a different direction in the form of a mini-split. This both saved me money and helped simplify the job quite a bit. The actual install went well. We hit few obstacles that were fairly unique to my home, but Curtis and crew weren't afraid of putting in the work to get things done. Special thanks to Dave for his assistance on these challenges. Tami and Hailey did great at coordinating the scheduling and keeping me in the know. Blue Best is a company that clearly cares about their reputation and delivering the best possible experience to their customers at a reasonable price. I would use their services again and can easily recommend bringing them in for a bid.

Shari was amazing in the install of our furnace. Shari unexpectedly had to install the furnace on her own and she worked hard all day and kept us up-to-date on her progress. Shari reviewed all the work that she had done and made sure we were happy with the final product. In addition to Shari being amazing to work with, we were pleased with the entire staff at Blue Best. We had constant communication with scheduling and the technicians were great at answering all of our question. I got a bid from a different company I have used in the that was significantly high, plus some weird things were happening with my quote and being able to actually get in touch with reps from that company. Word-of-mouth sent me to Blue Best, and I’m so glad it did! I was able to get a cheaper price, but the quality of service and professionalism was worth a lot more than I was charged for my system, plus installation occurred within 2 days of my bid, whereas the previous company was 2 weeks out. Kind of hard to deal with in the middle of record-breaking high temps. I have met several of the installation guys and they’ve all been wonderful, and Tami and Katy at the home office were very friendly and accommodating. This is definitely my new company for my HVAC needs!

Blue Best installed A/C in our home this spring. With us having an older home, they were honest up front and said to make sure we have our installation inspected to increase energy efficiency. As part of the install, they allowed us to upgrade to a smart thermostat for an additional charge. Fast forward to now, and our house has been nice and cool for the first summer season. We also love the features and cost savings that have come from our Ecobee thermostat. For quick responses and professional service, these guys are amazing at it!

I sat on the decision for a while, but when our swamp cooler broke I called and they were able to set me up with a full AC installation, along with my furnace and water heater replacement, the very next day. Brandon and Ned were very efficient and worked with my schedule. They left my basement clean as they found it and walked me through the information I needed to know about my new appliances. I had my upstairs HVAC system replaced by Blue Best after the AC started struggling. I worked with Katy, who came out to give me a bid within a day of contacting them. She is a very professional individual and truly knows her line of work. She inspected my current system and the floor layout thoroughly, and produced a very detailed report of its condition. She went above and beyond to explain the conditions to me, and gave me a very competitive bid. There was no pressure or indication of upselling from her at all, which made me feel very comfortable. I trusted Katy’s expertise and she delivered BIG TIME! The crew showed up on time, and replaced the entire system in 2 days. They stayed late into the evening to clean everything up. Once done, the install manager spent over an hour checking every single detail to make sure everything was done right. The results speak for themselves! My upstairs is much more comfortable, and with a higher efficiency unit I am seeing a reduction in my heating and cooling bills. Katy was instrumental in helping me pick the right HVAC unit, and I am glad I worked with her on this project. I have the peace of mind now knowing that my system was installed properly by some of most knowledgeable and professional crews around.

Blue Best installed a new AC and furnace/heat pump combo. I had at least 5 bids, but this company was the most thorough and professional, from the bid with Shawn, to financing and paperwork with Tami, to install with Jared and his team, all the way to follow up concerns with Dave. The install team was so friendly, thorough and hard-working - they hustled ALL day. Jared and his team stayed for more than 13 hours to get the air up and running and stayed to make sure it was cooling the house and we were happy. They ran into numerous problems due to the age and build of our previous system and were able to trouble shoot them all the way through. When I had a concern due to an issue with our concrete AC pad, not the install in general, Dave, the install manager came out to trouble shoot with me and provide a workable, permanent solution. We waited for years for a new system and this was a monumental purchase for us. I would recommend Blue Best for your AC and heating needs. They will even file for rebates, which saves on the overall cost.

He is amazing - very knowledgeable, personable & outgoing, and adept at answering any questions that we had. I highly recommend Blue Best! They installed a ductless cooling and heating system for us. In particular, Shawn was a pleasure to work with on the bid and Jared and Alex went above and beyond on the install. The front office was also proactive and responsive in scheduling and in taking care of an issue that came up during the work. There was a problem caused by the technician who was originally running the install, which could have led to us not having AC over the long and hot July 4th weekend. Blue Best sent out Jared and Alex at 4:30pm on the Friday of a long weekend, where they spent 5 hours that evening fixing the first technician's mistake and making sure our system worked. I was given an estimated time of arrival on the day of the installation for a new furnace and AC of between 09:00 and 11:00 a.m. . Curtis and Rocky showed up right at 9 a.m. . They introduced themselves and got right to work. They were friendly , informative and respectful of my home, to me and my abnoxios dogs , throughout the process of removal of the old system and installation of the new one. My existing system had been working without fail for 27 years, so this was proactive. The prosses was more involved than I anticipated and was an all day affair but Curtis and Rocky kept at it tirelessly. They busted there butts. They completed removal and installation the same day , even with some glitches that got thrown there way. I don't usually write reviews but these guys did a great job. We haven't had need of the furnace yet but will be very happy if it performs as well as the AC so far. My wife LOVES it. So much quieter and more capable than our old one. Shawn was great and explained rebates, which we hope will come soon. Curtis and Rocky even had a coworker show up to help them while waiting for his other appointment. We already received a referral rebate for referring a friend's installation. Overall very happy with the the whole crew at Blue best so far. Give those guys a bonus.

Jared and Gary arrived on time and explained the work they were going to perform which was to remove and replace the furnace and air conditioning system. The worked well as a team and were polite and professional. Their attention to detail and commitment to high quality was excellent. A challenging piece of ducting was fabricated 3 times until it was a perfect fit. The condensation drain line was routed around behind the furnace then to the floor drain providing a clean appearance rather than across the front which would have been much easier. The freon lines and all of the wires were neatly organized and secured using clamps and wire ties. They did a great job cleaning up the work area when they were finished. I would purchase from Blue Best again based on the prices, detailed parts & labor quotes, and positive installation experience. I plan to recommend them to friend needing HVAC work. GREAT JOB BLUE BEST!

Katy and the team at Blue Best are so professional and easy to work with. They text you the info for your technician along with a photo before they arrive and give you an accurate timeframe of when they will arrive. That is so useful and appreciated. When it comes to knowing their stuff, I have never felt like any HVAC or really any home service company is more knowledgeable and focused on what YOU need over what they want to sell you. Case in point, my home was built in 2013 and the AC would run nearly constantly in the summer trying to cool it to even a semi comfortable level. On really hot days, the best it could do was keeping the house around 78 and finally get around 73 at night on the main floor and never below 77 or so upstairs. It was on so often that I had several instances of the coil freezing up entirely. I assumed that our AC unit was underpowered and needed to be replaced and that was going to mean a BIG expense. Last fall, Katy came to my home and went through the whole system. I was quite surprised when she said, “I think your AC is fine, the problem is your furnace”. Now, I’m not someone who is clueless when it comes to this stuff…. I do nearly all of my own work on my home, cars… you name it and that response was a surprise to me. She pointed out that I had some airflow problems and that the furnace (which is the heart of how your AC cools your home in the first place) was not moving enough air efficiently for the AC to do it’s job. I went ahead with her recommendation of installing a new furnace. For so much less than I would have paid for a higher powered AC unit, I was able to get an incredibly high efficiency, multi speed furnace, my air returns rebuilt at the furnace to work better and a Halo UV light that kills viruses in the air installed in the ductwork (Covid anyone?) Since installing the furnace in the fall, of course my heating bills were lower his past winter but now, in what has been a crazy hot summer, our AC is killing it! When it comes on, it pulls several doors shut with the amount of airflow it gets. It cools our home in half the time it used to, it’s been comfortable all day and my power bill is down around 30% over last year. In short, I know many of the HVAC companies around would have quickly taken as much money as possible and just installed a new AC unit. Katy and Blue Best had MY best interest in mind and went after the best solution rather than making the most profit. I recommend them and am so impressed.

I was looking to replace two 24 year old HVAC systems with a pair of Heat Pumps of Daikin/Amana manufacture. I solicited bids from several companies. One was a company A run by the family that installed the 24 year old systems. The quality of those systems and work performed was clearly excellent. Another bid was from a popular company B that operates a lot in the Greater Avenues area where I live. Finally I scrambled to find a third company that installs Daikin Heat Pumps, and a Google search took me to Blue Best. I requested a bid online, however Tammy (I hope I got her name right) called me right away and Marty, their estimator, came within a couple of hours. He laughed when I told him about the company B, asking me to shown him their proposal (equipment, not the price) and telling me that he would probably beat them by thousands. Indeed, his bid came about 25% lower, beating the bid of the company A as well, making my decision an easy call. In a couple of days Ethan, Jared, Gary and another apprentice arrived at 9 am, as scheduled. My house is 100 years old and any work done on it may be challenging. However, the crew worked tirelessly and installed both systems in one day! Another great thing about Blue Best is communication and document delivery. For example, bids were delivered by email, but not as a pdf attachment, rather a link to a web page that was very well organized, without going into details.

Thus, this is where part of Jared’s creativity came in. There is only one supplier that has the filter inSLC area I was told and it will be quite the drive

I discovered Blue Best through an advertisement in the local Value Pages and decided to try this local company since they were located near to our house. From the very beginning I have truly appreciated the professionalism and responsiveness of the Blue Best team. Shawn was my first contact. I obtained 4 quotes and by far Shawn took the most time to look at our home, and ask questions to ascertain what would work best. Our home was built in the 1980’s with radiant heat, and a swamp cooler. We have two additions to the home. We decided due to the separation of our roofs, that a hybrid system would work best. Their sense of humor, congenial demeanor and willingness to listen to what our wants and needs were, instilled confidence. I enjoyed learning about my new system as they walked me through each step. Ethan made sure to honor even our wishes to keep a portion of our attic clear for storage. One of my most treasured things is their willingness to install a vent right above my stove. Last summer it got up to 114 degrees in that spot. All 3 of the other companies said they would not be willing to go through the hassle of maneuvering a drop down light unit. Thanks for going the extra mile! Another bonus from this woman owned company is that Annette will help you with your rebates and my name is Lavender sends you detailed text messages! I could hardly believe it when Annette said she would file Everything! Wow! I had a picture and a profile for my installers, sent by Lavender, each time they were on their way. I could track their arrival on maps. She fielded texts from me within two minutes. If you can not tell by now, this is an amazing company. I’ve already referred two of my neighbors. It was a relief knowing he was coming as we watched the temperature in our house drop throughout the day. They always text a picture and a little about the repair tech when they’re on their way so you know just who to expect at your home. When he got here he quickly diagnosed the issue. He was super helpful and patient and answered all my questions. We have been doing some construction and the dust probably contributed to the issue, but just to be sure he checked and cleaned some other components and put in a new filter. No one likes to have an AC go out in a record breaking heat wave. Unfortunately ours started to have issues so we called a few companies to help us figure out what was going on. Blue Best responded quickly and Katy came out the next morning. Long story short, our 21 year old AC needed to be replaced. They were our first quote. And after 2 other companies came to bid, they were still the best price. We arranged an install date about 10 days out, but then got it installed only 3-4 days later when they had a cancellation. Brent, Amber, Miguel and Ethan installed our AC and new furnace quickly and efficiently. The technicians, Patrick and Ethan, were both extremely professional and provided amazing service. Not only did they install the split system flawlessly, they moved items in my mechanical room, moved and installed breakers in my electrical box but also ensured that the overall aesthetic of the system didn't clash with the current look of the house (crossed hoses, wires, location of the unit, etc.). Patrick even removed an older static thermostat and then moved our older smart thermostat upstairs as we were replacing the smart thermostat with an upgraded version. This allows us the ability to control all of the HVAC settings using both the the thermostats locally and remotely. I ran into Katy at the Home Show at the South Town Expo in South Salt Lake City. She was very pleasant and had a wonderful smile. Her booth had a really cool demonstration which I didn’t pay attention to because my eye was drawn to the prices on the wall for a complete installation of a new HVAC system. Katy basically had a good, better, best pricing. I was floored. I could not believe those prices. So I asked her if those were real. Katy said yes. I was interested. She then told me about her company and how her company is the only all women owned HVAC company in UT. I was totally interested in supporting her company if the numbers worked. She then mentioned something about duel duel systems. Which peaked my interest even more. I was clueless that a duel duel system was even an option. I made an appointment with Katy (she’s the owner of Blue Best) to come to our home and give me a quote for a new furnace since our current one was 20 years old and on its way out. What a pleasure it was to have her in our home. She educated my wife and I on all our different options. Even though I was interested in the duel duel system and had already done hours of research prior to Katy coming to our home. Katy was honest and professional and was very mindful of our time. So glad she didn’t spend hours and hours trying to sell us. Later after she left our home, she emailed me the three bids I asked for. After researching the equipment and going down a few YouTube rabbit holes on the equipment models, we went with the duel fuel option. And the best part! The rebates! With the rebates the duel fuel system ends up only costing about $500 more than the normal single 95% efficiency system. And will save us so much money during the life of its operation. That’s a no brainer there. Then when the installer came to install the new system, WOW. Quick, professional, and took the time to show my wife and I how to operate it. He didn’t mind the million questions I had. This was one of the most hassle free, non pushy sale business that I have come across in a long time. The customer service from start to finish was top notch. I already sold my neighbor across the street on this company. I will be using them to service our systems in our primary residence and our rentals from here on out. The company is just…..WOW!!! Amazing! A breathe of fresh air (pun intended). I will talk them up to all my friends and family. Make sure you ask Katy how she came up with the company name of Blue Best. It’s quite the hoot.

Frustrated by my condo becoming 85-90 degrees during the last month or so — clearly, the swamp cooler wasn't enough — I decided to install AC. I contacted three services with good reviews on Google and KSL: Blue Best, Friendly, and Method Air. I had them all come out and give me a quote on the installation cost. Blue Best was #1 by a long way: about $3900 for my install, compared to about $7K quoted from the other two. After I told Blue Best about the results, I scheduled my appointment to have AC installed the next week. Shane came out to start the appointment, then Ethan and Sam worked hard to get it done — it took about 5 hours to have the AC installed on the roof of my condo. They did good work, professional and friendly. I also spoke with owner Katy on the phone about a scheduling issue, and she was great. It's been about a week, and no problems so far! My condo's a cool 72 degrees! If that changes, I'll update the review, but as of now, I couldn't be happier.

So happy w/Blue Best! When our AC gave out, there were 3 things I was looking for in a HVAC company: 1. An initial appt that was w/in a 1-2 days of when I called, 2. Inventory availability, and 3. Reasonably priced All of which were met by Blue Best! From the initial call, assessment, and install, all the people (Lori, Patrick, Shaun, and Brent) I interacted with were professional, thorough, and *quickly responded.* They looked up if there was an active warranty the previous owners had, if any, versus just asking us if we knew if the previous owners had registered the unit. I also appreciated Patrick's unrushed and thorough explanation of what was going on with our AC and why it wasn't working. Usually service technicians try and throw a bunch of industry jargon out there, speaking quickly, and I always have the feeling that those service techs are just trying to confuse the client so as to purchase an expensive product. An extra perk that I really liked was that there was a gps service tracking on the day the tech/rep would come out so I could see exactly where and when the tech would arrive (within their allotted 2 hour window). A few days ago during the coldest days of the season our furnace decided to act up. I found a company online and had them look at it in hopes that it wasn’t a big issue since our unit is not very old. Someone I know and trust told me to meet with Blue Best, because of the service they had in their own installation. I was fortunate enough to meet with the owner, Katy, about a week before my installation. She spent a lot of time talking over what my family and home needs were, to ensure that we were making a good decision for what we were looking to install. She paid close attention to the costs, gave us a number of options (and her professional opinions about each), gave a thorough walkthrough and overview of our existing system, and put together a personalized plan of action for what we may want to consider. She wasn't "salesy" and pressured us to get installed right then and there, and was happy to take our follow up questions and messages. We decided on the installation within a week, and had a scheduled appointment with their team (Alex and Ethan). We did have to do a small change to the back layout of our unit, simply because our sprinkler head was buried and we misjudged the line. The guys had to remove an existing fence post (which was from an old fence that had been taken down). While this should have added a bit of extra time to the job, they were still done well before we expected them to be. Quick, quiet, respectful of our time (and space - it is still the era of COVID) and there was no disturbance of either my wife's or my workday in the slightest. It's been a fantastic experience with Katy and the team, and we strongly recommend working with her!

Blue Best is amazing! Casey, the technician that came to tune up my furnaces, was so informative; she clearly knows her stuff. This was the first time a woman worked on my furnace. Being a woman myself, it was refreshing to have a fellow female come. Normally I wouldn’t stay and watch what the technician was doing, but Casey told me she’d teach me about the furnaces if I’d like to watch her work. Now I know what the inducer is! And I learned that when the furnace is working efficiently, the flame should ideally be blue and steady. My basement furnace is old, noisy, and needs to be replaced; but Casey said that since we don’t use it all the time, it would be okay for a few more months of use, and that probably just replacing the inducer would give the furnace a few more years if we weren’t ready to replace it quite yet. Regarding the newer larger furnace, she gave me tips for changing the filter during and after our upcoming remodel so that we’ll save money on filters in the long run (by using cheaper thinner filters and changing them weekly during the construction). She was all about us getting the most out of our furnace, and not trying to take advantage of me by making a sell. Casey was happy to answer my questions and told me everything she was doing. Not only did she educate me about my furnaces, she checked out my water heater and told me how to flush it. She also showed me that a plastic bag my husband had laid on top of it had melted, indicating that that is not the best place to put such things. She noticed a gash in the venting that could potentially leak CO, and told me I could easily repair it with metal tape. And she pointed out that water heaters now require two earthquake straps to meet code. I would highly recommend Blue Best to everyone I know! I was very impressed by their desire to educate their customers. I know that my heating and cooling needs are in good hands with Blue Best.
