Have used these guys at a past residence and glad I used them again on my new residence. I had one of their competitors out three different times to try to fix my system and they couldn’t get it to work. AAA came out and replaced a part that none of these other AC companies mentioned. They had me up and running again in no time. I also used them for duct cleaning and Sean & Stephenie did an amazing job! Stephenie treated my home like it was hers and this team was extremely thorough. I would highly recommend this team to clean your system as I have used other companies in the past and this was the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. Thank you for the clean interior air Sean and Stephanie!

Anthony was nothing short of excellent. Came on time and was super friendly and professional. Cleaned up my mini splits and walked me through how to use them properly and care for them as we had moved into a new place and they were new to us. really appreciate that he provided info on how we can care for it and not looking to sell unneeded services. I had my 2nd duct cleaning from AAA and they called in advance of arrival and were on time, walked through to detail all the registers and dryer vent, and Sean and Stephanie explained everything, were helpful and efficient and identified future needs for cleaning such smoky fire seasons and pet shedding. Fortunately we had gotten a second dog since our last cleaning and unfortunately had a tough fire season a couple of years ago also. I’ve used AAA for maintenance of our system and they’ve been consistently friendly and reliable and they have kept my system efficient.

Stephanie and Sean did an awesome job cleaning our ducts. When they arrived they took the time to introduce themselves and to pet our little dog. They were careful to keep our house clean while they worked and cleaned up after the job was done. They explained the process thoroughly. Stephanie gave recommendations as to which times during the year a person might want to have their vents cleaned like after smoke season, after allergy season, etc. Sean saw that I had a new little bonsai tree and gave me some great tips about growing these lovely little gems. Great service and terrific people like Stephanie and Sean are the reason my husband and I will be forever clients of AAA Heating and Cooling!

We recently had a hot water heater tank replacement completed and it went great. Josh and Josh did the install and they are the best. Super friendly, answered my questions, and turned my dirty old heater room into a nice clean space with a brand new tank and piping hot water. Very impressed with the crew (Sean and Stephanie) they did an amazing job helping me with the cleaning of my ducts. I also contracted them to do a full HVAC inspection and the technician (Tyler) was very helpful and explained everything clearly and patiently. We opted for AAA to install our AC earlier this year. The original installation was good, but there was a decent sized hole left in our drywall. They came out and patched that up though so zero complaints from me! Unfortunately the AC unit failed a few months later, but that wasn't their fault. They replaced it as soon as they could and did a good job. The most recent service I had was duct & vent cleaning. Stephanie and Shawn were friendly, thorough, and relatively quick. Happy with their service. I'll keep calling AAA for future HVAC needs.

Unfortunately they did find an issue, which was a safety hazard for our family, which resulted in us not being able to use our heater. The weather was pretty temperate at the time, but AAA worked quickly to get us on their schedule to fix. I highly recommend AAA Heating and Cooling. Nicoa W. in particular is very efficient and professional. He came out for maintenance on my furnace about 5 months ago and again recently, and very quickly discovered the issue with my furnace (why it was not running) and fixed it. AAA Heating and Cooling initially did my duct cleaning after a new home purchase three years ago, and installed a new furnace in the house too, and I have been impressed with their service and efficiency from day one. Most recently, Nicoa W. explained very nicely to me the basics of how my furnace works and how my AC system connected to my furnace, etc. when he serviced the furnace, and then when it would not run he was able to quickly determine what the issue was and fix it. He was very patient with my many questions. I highly recommend AAA Heating and Cooling for furnace installation and maintenance.

AAA cooling saved me from the heat wave. My AC went out on day two of triple digit temperatures. AAA cooling was able to come out in less than 24 hours. Got my ducts cleaned on Friday. Sean and Stephanie did a great job, in and out in about 2 hours, masked, cleaned very well, and I can hear a clear the difference in air flow in the ducts. A rubbing/squeaking sound developed from the vibration due to the additional air flow (not AAAs fault), and Dylan came out a few days later to troubleshoot and fixed it in a few minutes. We have used AAA Heating & Cooling for over twenty years and have always found them to be an outstanding business: responsive, loyal to us as repeat customers as we are to them, very efficient and thorough. This time Adam and Tyler came to perform HVAC duct and vent cleaning, along with our dryer vent as well. Both Adam and Tyler were very courteous and professional throughout what is of necessity a disruptive job, since it entails visiting every room in the house. They did a fine job, well up to the standards we have come to expect over more than twenty years of service from AAA. We continue to recommend AAA Heating & Cooling without reservation. P.S. to Adam & Tyler's foreman: the older truck you send these guys out on needs a 10' ladder to reach higher return vents such as ours. The 6' ladder currently on the truck just won't do; it's not safe and we don't like seeing your guys having to work with it. And they didn't ask me to say this; I'm just looking out for them.

He thoroughly explained the service that he performed and the repairs that I will need in the very near future. Great service!! My heater randomly shut down during the weather storm warning, temperatures outside were 19 degrees and it was 45 degrees in my house! I called AAA and a real person immediately picked up the phone and got a technician scheduled to come out. Nicoa (the technician) called me when he was 25 minutes away and arrived exactly as stated. Nicoa took a look at the unit, figured out the issue, fixed it and gave me some maintenance tips on how to prevent the issue in the future. He was super knowledgeable, fast, and made sure the system was working before he took off. Highly recommend and will use AAA in the future!

We had a regularly scheduled furnace servicing recently and were unfortunately told that one of our furnace parts had a hole and needed to be replaced or repaired. We opted for a replacement. Although we were not thrilled with going without heat for a week, everyone we worked with at AAA was professional and pleasant. I don't recall all the people that worked with us, but most recently, Josh and his partner did our installations and then Tyler and Adam followed up for our vent cleaning. They were friendly, clean, and professional. We made the mistake of choosing a cheaper option when our furnace died last time and it didn't make it over 10 years.

I called when my furnace stopped working just before Xmas. Although no one was available to come out until after the holidays, Cristen, who had answered my call, said that my problem was probably due to a frozen discharge pipe. She gave me instructions for how to deal with it myself, and we then got through the hols with no further trouble. For this wonderful service she, and AAA, deserve the highest praise. Yay Cristen! AAA was called in and discovered our furnace was leaking water. Phalen, the repair person, worked hard to figure out what was wrong and communicated options clearly. Within a couple days AAA sent another repair person, and everything was fixed and under warranty within hours. great service.

Not only did he check all the boxes for the tune-up -- cleaning, testing, etc. -- but he also made himself available to answer my questions about the system and offer advice. Woke up on a very cold day (under 20 degrees F) to no heat! Turned out to be a frozen condensate drain line. Called AAA first thing and they promptly called back. Kristin at the office was super responsive and helpful and AAA promptly dispatched Service Technician Alex Howlett. Another big sell for me is calling Triple AAA Heating and Cooling's office . Triple AAA Heating and Cooling has a Human that answer's the phone . Customers that call Triple AAA Heating and Cooling actually get a Live Voice and don't have their time monopolised with a computer automated voicemail system. Update we had our central air conditioning and heating cleaned by Adam and Richard. They're very professional. This did take a couple of hours as our home we bought last year had never had the central cleaned before. Adam explained what he was doing and why. We can surly tell the difference in our home. I highly recommend AAA Heating and Cooling. Our central air conditioning wasn't working so well. I called them up and scheduled an appointment. It was a week out for service. I let them know if they had a cancellation I would like to take it. They did have one and Justin came out and serviced ours. He is super nice and polite. Even helped me save a little dog that was lost. He answered our questions and showed us how to change the filter. (We are new to all the maintenance of air conditioning ). Great Service all around 👍

I truly appreciated the level of customer service Kyle provided by calling me before he would be showing up to look around and provide me with a free quote. Kyle was great at understanding what I was looking for and getting me a very competitive quote. His ability to establish a great rapport with me was what closed the deal. From there the installation team (Matt and Chris) picked up right where Kyle had left off. They called ahead and showed up exactly when they said they would. I like working with AAA Heating and Cooling. They are very easy to do business with and everyone I have come into contact with are well above the norm in regard to timely service which notably includes prompt communication and action. They previously installed a gas heater and air conditioning system using the Daikin brand. The previous week my water heater was leaking so needed replacement. I called them to see if they had a company they would recommend that they might work closely with. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they install Bradford White water heaters although their name does not indicate they service water heaters. They can generate fast quotes via text messages and photos and schedule installation quickly without waiting for a service call. (other companies want to charge about $150 for a service call). Debra was very fast as an inside person coordinating this via prompt text messages, photos and scheduling coordination. Thank you. On the day of installation Adam and Brandon first checked to see if the heater indeed needed replacement instead of a home owner oversight and were quick to install and check the new water heater as well as bled the water lines for air It is a very clean and tidy job. Thank you to the AAA Heating and Cooling team. I highly recommend them and their ability to quickly get things done.

Dylan C. and Alex H. did great work identifying issues arising from another company's install work. We have a newer HVAC unit that another company installed. We called AAA Heating to do maintenance on our two older HVAC units, so we asked them to look at the newer unit, too. On that occasion, Dylan noticed that the other company installed a fuse with a wire wrapped around it, thus making the fuse useless. After a new, unwired fuse was installed, the unit stopped working, so we called AAA again. This time, Alex, who coordinated with Dylan via phone regarding Dylan's previous visit, found that the unwired fuse had blown. Alex then found a root cause for the unwired fuse blowing - unlike the other company, which used the wired fuse to cover up an issue. If AAA had not found the wired fuse, we would have a bigger issue, because the wired fuse would not have protected the circuit like the unwired fuse did. We are exploring legal action against the install company. Thanks AAA.

EDIT: They refunded my money for the visit. I would still avoid if you have an oil furnace until they get another technician. Customer service was good once I had proof from another company that our furnace was in good shape. Avoid this company if you have an Oil Furnace or HVAC system! FYI They do not have a qualified technician to service these systems!! I recently hired them for a service for the Oil Furnace at our house and they sent a "specialist" they stated they only had one employee that works on Oil Furnaces. The worker showed up on-time and was very friendly but before even looking at the furnace he mentioned I should get a new system. How these systems are super unsafe but never mentioned why. He opened it up and pointed out some obvious stuff like a little bit of oil leaking and a belt that needed to be replaced. Stuff that I was hoping to get serviced. He went out to the oil tank and stated it held an electrical charge. However he couldn't find a ground to test this. I touched the tank a bunch and no electrical charge at all. He then said he can't work on it and we should switch to an electrical system and his office can install this.... It was late in the day and I think he wanted to go home instead of doing any of the basic servicing. He charged me $165.00 for the 30 minutes of his time of looking at the furnace. It seemed like he didn't know how to service the furnace or didn't want to take the time too. It was like I took my car to get an oil change and they told me I need new oil and a filter and then charged me for them saying that, when I knew. I'm disappointed that this company offers service on oil furnaces. My neighbor who is an electrician came over and couldn't get a reading for an electrical charge on the tank. I called management and they said they can't do anything for me. I'm disappointed in this company as they seem to have a lot of good reviews, but it must be for other general HVAC work not Oil Furnaces.

We recently replaced our 20-year-old HVAC system with the good folks at AAA Heating & Cooling. I don't typically write reviews, but AAA earned it with the excellent customer experience they gave us from start to finish. If you've never replaced your HVAC system (it was my first), it can be: a relatively big-ticket project; lots of technical info to consider; and a multi-day installation. It's not the sexiest of home improvement projects, but it can add 10-20% to the total value of your home–so it's worth it. We explored this project in 2020, but then...COVID. AAA was one of 3 companies we originally received bids from. When we received updated estimates this time, they were also in the same ballpark, but AAA set itself apart with details big and small. Boomer (AAA's Design Specialist & Project Manager) guided us throughout the process. He had been to the house 2 yrs ago and still had his notes from that first visit. He remembered details about our family, and what we were trying to accomplish. He’s an expert on all things HVAC and he’s good at breaking it down for a layperson. The day before installation, Stephanie and Shawn cleaned the air ducts throughout the house. They were in and out in 2-3 hours and left no trace behind despite the industrial-sized equipment. Installation took place over 2 days. John led the install with Chris as well as Chris, Matt, Jess, and Tyler. John was proactive, keeping us updated and answering our questions. When a minor leak appeared the evening of Day 1, he responded right away and brought along his own plumber. Day 2 went along much like the first day, i.e., uneventful and with minimal disruption (a good thing when it comes to home improvement). The new HVAC system works great and we're really happy with it. We appreciate all the work done by the AAA team, including those behind the scenes. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on AAA again (but hopefully that won't be for awhile)!

Great company. They are a little difficult to schedule ahead as they are busy and packed, but they are worth the wait. Mark was amazing, he and Emmanuel didn't just do maintenance but they also taught me how to do upkeep myself correctly on furnace and AC units, drilled in a new filter box for easier filter changes, and took a look at my gas fireplace which I thought was broken. I came home on Thanksgiving night to find my 3 1/2 year old furnace was not working. AAA Heating and Cooling dispatched a technician, Adam, out that night. Adam got it working and diagnosed the problem. Replacing sensors, which the furnace was indicating needed to be replaced, didn't fix it. Finally had to replace the circuit board. Tim took care of ordering the replacement, installed it and everything actually works better than before. The original circuit board was going bad but we didn't realize. AAA Heating and Cooling installed the furnace and completely backed their warranty. All the calls, parts, labor was covered. The heat wave hit. Our AC crashed after being serviced the previous Friday by Joe (he'd done a good job). I called 40 companies. AAA Heating and Cooling didn't have availability initially, but they managed to send out a tech named Garrett while everyone else couldn't get us in for a couple weeks. I can't say enough about Garrett. He figured out the issue was our blower motor and put in a couple hours of work replacing the secondary condenser in 115 degree weather. If it hadn't been for Garrett, we'd have had to leave our house. Can't thank him and AAA Heating and Cooling enough.

Our gas furnace went out just as the weather turned freezing (of course!) We called like 10 companies and I kept getting diagnoses we didn't trust from companies who were flaky. The guy from AAA heating and cooling was the most knowledgeable and trustworthy, and showed us exactly why the furnace needed replacing, which was not what I wanted to hear but from the inch wide crack in the heat exchanger, was necessary. I dealt with their rep Boomer (yes that's his name), who came out and got us measured and quoted for a replacement. The prices were fair, from what I researched. Boomer helped us get it replaced pretty quick, given that it was the busy time of the year I expected to wait much longer. He answered his phone whenever I called, which I learned from other companies is something you should not take for granted. Be followed up with us after the install also to make sure all was good. Happy to use them again in the future.

AAA was great to work with! They quickly responded to our call for help. Our ancient furnace stopped working when temperatures where freezing. Old furnace was a goner.They explained our options (no pressure) and answered all our questions some times twice. Within a day they had our new furnace installed.The installer was a real pro. I asked him to install a trim plate around the new side wall vent instead of just cutting a hole in the siding. He said "no problem" and the result looks great. Turns out this guy could be a finish carpenter as well! The installers stayed until 7:30 pm to finish the job,left everything neat and tidy and we had heat again. AAA took care of all the warranty and tax credit paper work. We just signed and mailed it in. We give AAA 5 stars.

AAA Heating was wonderful. Tony came to our house to estimate how much it would cost to do some upgrades to our lovely ranch home. We wanted better ventilation in the kitchen, and we really needed our ducts clean in the crawlspace below. He recommended the duct cleaning of course, but gave us ideas on what we could do for the kitchen. We decided to ventilate from a recently purchased microwave up to the roof outtake and they would do the duct work. The cleaning was great, the representative was cordial, professional, and he was knowledgeable about his work (I asked him a ton of questions about the heating/cooling configuration of the house). The ventilation of the kitchen was a great experience as well. The representative was helpful, skilled and worked quickly. We were bummed to find that there was a structure beam right in the way of the hole he had to make, so we had to settle for a S shaped duct to the ceiling. Obviously, there was nothing we could do to help that and he talked to us about our options professionally. Very satisfied with AAA Heating and Cooling, our air is cleaner and the house doesn't fill with bacon smell every time I cook breakfast anymore!

Last year we moved into a classic old house in NE Portland with no insulation (of course) and roasted our behinds off every night. We called Charles at AAA and he was able to help us get into the modern era of A/C. He gave us all of the options on what I feel are the absolute best products you can get. He answered all of our questions and was as helpful as anyone can be. It has been almost a year now with the A/C and it is working incredible. In fact last weekend there were many times when in the 95+ degree heat our house was too cold and we had to turn it off! Ha! Gone are the days of "We only need A/C in Oregon for only a few weeks". Do yourself a favor and give them a call. Since last summer, AAA has also done the annual maintenance on our nat gas furnace and just this week they came and cleaned the ducts in our house as well. Please convey that to them when you see them next. The job was completed in a timely manner. This week Tim serviced our furnace unit that was making a extremely loud grinding noise. He diagnoised it in just minutes and explained the issue, he answered all my questions and concerns. We had a quote in minutes and the part needed to be replaced ordered and on its way. 2 days later Tim came back to replace the inducer motor and we ran the unit for 20 minutes. In 2011 we knew we had a little one on the way and we also knew we needed a warmer house. My husband and I have an addition to our house, a den lets say, who's only source of heat was the wood burning fireplace. We knew that this would not suffice for our baby's need come winter time so we began looking for a business that was reputable and comprehensive with their estimates. AAA was our first choice based from online reviews but we did our due diligence and interviewed them the same as four other companies. Not only did AAA blow the competition out of the water with their estimate they also blew us away with the representatives professionalism and keen ear. We really felt that he understood our desires. After settling on our plan of adding air ducts within the house our representative spoke of other possible items to add efficiency to our furnace and how to correct a small problem with our drip line. Never once did I feel like I was being upsold just to make a higher invoice. The team came out and finished the whole job a day in advance of the projected time and cleaned the work environment thouroughly. Oh yes, they were nice to my two dogs as well. I felt like everything AAA suggested was a benefit to my household. My husband and I felt like we got more then we ever expected for such a reasonable amount. I want to give a shout out to AAA Heating and Cooling, to John Rodarte, and to the staff. I purchased a new furnace and vent cleaning from them last month and could not be more pleased. After 27 years it was time to retire and replace my furnace. I certainly did my research and also my due diligence in getting a couple of bids. I am an Angie’s list member and was actually swaying towards another company that was highly reputable and sold Carrier’s which is what I originally intended to buy. John Rodarte took his time in explaining their product. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my many questions. He followed up and followed through with all inquiries and adjustments. He also took care of the Energy Tax rebates. The staff there was so helpful every step of the way. They were very professional and very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised that the install was not rescheduled as it has snowed the day before and the roads were a bit messy. The installers were on time and everything went as planned. Due to the weather, we had to reschedule the vent cleaning but they were able to get me in within a week. Again they followed through and did great job. AAA replaced our old, much too large furnace with a new and much quieter one. Our first contact was with Andrea, who took the extra time to explain to a first-time furnace buyer the various options, and made suggestions about how best to ensure adequate airflow around our house given its current venting. AAA's quote was a bit higher than others, but the quality of their furnaces (similar efficiency, much quieter operation) and more comprehensive warranties sold us. From there, AAA sent out two techs (George & Josh) who were efficient and courteous in making the replacement, taking the extra time to simplify gobs of extra ducting and piping and thereby freeing up lots of space in our basement. They also left the area around the furnace cleaner than when they started! Additionally, when the furnace wouldn't turn on the next morning, their lead installer was here within the hour and diagnosed the issue within a few minutes. Apparently, the door had been knocked askew as we moved items back in. Our fault, but great response by AAA.

My family just bought our new home less than 2 months ago and had our gas furnace go out. We had been concerned during the inspection of the new house, about the condition of the OEM Gas Furnace (house was built in 1988). Murphy's law struck and right before our first freezing temperatures of the winter, the furnace went down and the temperature in the home began to plummet. We have an almost 2 1/2 year old son, and were concerned about temporarily dealing with a freezing house. I spoke with Charles on the phone, and he set up an appointment that day to come to my house and take pictures of the current heating and duct setup. We discussed hardware, installation and cost. I was happy with the price quote and amazed to find out that during their peak busy season they were able to get an install scheduled for that Wednesday morning! The install crew were prompt, professional and eager to answer any questions I had, and helped make the install process as painless as possible. I give AAA a solid 5 star rating for both quality of service and for excellent work and craftsmanship. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and even plan to have them install a Central Air Unit in the near future.

Brrrrrrrr! When your furnace isn't working, it's a cold, cruel World. Our gas furnace would come on and then shut off intermittently and was blowing only cold air. We called a furnace repair company that we had used previously and they came out and tried to fix it. The repair person was baffled as to why the furnace wasn't working and by default (expensive default), suggested that we purchase a new board. He told us that it would cost $900. But....if we signed up for their $300 per year service contract, it would cost only $700. He left and we read over the service agreement. It was not a benefit to us. We cancelled it immediately and advised him to not order a new board. We then called AAA Heating and Cooling. A young man named Anthony came to our rescue. He did a complete diagnostic check on the furnace and did a couple of experiments to determine why the unit kept shutting down even when the flame was lit. He put the front panel back on the furnace and the flame died. He determined that a vent pipe somewhere in the system was probably clogged. He got on a ladder on our back deck, took a long pair of what looked like a hemostat and pulled out two large bee hives that were blocking the flow of the ventilation leaving the system, therefore causing the fucnace to shut down. Anthony was knowledgeable and very friendly. He found the cause of the problem, and fixed it which the first company we called was unable to do. Had we heeded the first company's advice, we would have purchased a new board for hundreds of dollars and would still have had the same problem with our furnace and our chilly house. Thank you Anthony and thank you AAA Heating and Cooling for having technicians who know their trade and who are very responsive. We will use your company for any future furnace or air conditioning service and repairs and will highly recommend your business to our friends and neighbors should they ever have need of your services. When our 40 year old furnace suddenly gave up the ghost, I called AAA and met with Kyle, who scheduled a replacement for the next day. Two "Josh"s arrived and set to work right away removing our old furnace and installing a new Daikin. Our service person was professional, checked the problem and verified what he needed to with a supervisor. I always appreciate when someone calls to check their work, as having some humility and honesty in your knowledge base is much better than ego/hubris. He also recommended connecting the line to a surge protector to prevent expensive damage if a power surge occurred, something not really on our radar. Thanks for great service!

I Definitely recommend AAA. Two thumbs way up. I just recently bought a new high efficiency furnace from them and am super happy with the performance of the hardware, the installation and the whole AAA team. In fact the model I wanted wasn't available so they installed a better model for nothing extra. They also threw in a high efficiency filter system for free. They are really friendly and hard working and the price was great considering all the effort that went into it. Tony (3rd generation of family at AAA) wasn't happy until everything was perfect which required a couple extra visits. Definitely worth it, I have no regrets whatsoever and recommend them without hesitation.

While other companies were booked out for a week, AAA Heating and Cooling was able to come by the next day to fix my AC during the summer of 2017 heat wave. Friendly young guy named John came by right at the scheduled time to do the work on my recently purchased home. After checking the furnace, fan and thermostat he was able to diagnose the problem immediately: I needed a new capacitor. He spent over an hour at my house after carefully checking levels and noticed a potential problem with the drainage piping, to which he suggested an easy fix for me to carry out after he left. He took a picture of the air ducts and showed me how to replace the air filter. Thermostat device he carried showed somewhat unsatisfactory levels so he tried a few things and made some adjustments which yielded a slight improvement. He was patient, thorough and happy to chat with me and keep me informed. I also got the sense he was very honest and sincere. I plan on requesting him in particular the next time I have a problem! My one complaint is the pricing, except that I have nothing to compare to. $109 to have someone come check it out plus $240 in parts and labor to replace a capacitor and do some other minor work. Seems a little steep.

I had a furnace emergency the day after Thanksgiving with a house full of company staying with me. The company that installed the furnace and who had previously done all of my service was, I felt, less than accommodating in trying to help me out. I called AAA Heating and Cooling having heard their advertisements on the radio. The phone was answered by Camile, who was very pleasant and very helpful. I was given a five hour window, between noon and 5 pm and was told that the service call would be at their "regular" rate (my "other" company had told me that "if" they could get to me today it would be at an "overtime" rate) I received a phone call from their technician James at like 11:30 saying he was on his way! He got to my house before noon, and had me back in business all fixed up in about a half an hour! Super nice guy...very courteous and efficient! These guys took great care of me at what I feel was a very fair and reasonable price, and I am very satisfied and happy with their service! I recommend them, and will use them again!

AAA has installed two a/c units (15 years apart) and a furnace for us. They are top-notch and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are reasonably priced and do great work. The last a/c unit they installed had something wrong with the line at the end of the day, and they returned promptly the next morning and made sure it was up and running before our most recent heat wave. They give courtesy calls every fall and spring to remind you to schedule your maintenance appointments for your furnace and a/c units. The damper adjustment that they did made all the difference in the world to cooling our upstairs. I've had several companies out for bids for both the a/c and furnaces when we were looking to replace them, and have always chosen them for their honesty, diligence, and customer service.

We started using AAA because the folks we bought our house from 10 years ago recommended them. We've never had a moment's regret or a second thought. They helped us nurse along our aging furnace and air conditioner for at least a couple or three years past their expected shelf life and when the units finally gave up their ghosts, AAA provided us with a whole range of possibilities for replacing them, with John (their sales guy) carefully explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each choice. Unfortunately for me, AAA was the 2nd company I called. The first visit I had to fix my furnace came from a competitor who couldn't replicate the problem and gave me a list of "could be's" (furnace did a short self-heal). Not wanting to through money at the problem without clear evidence it would fix it I declined the recommendations (plus the furnace was working again). But - 1 week later it was back out and again I had another cold night in winter. Fortunately - Tim from AAA was able to come over the next day, and in 2 minutes was able to pull my capacitor and test to see it was failing. Swapped it out and the furnace is back up and running - being friendly the whole time when I pestered him with questions during the midst of the repair. Last thanksgiving our furnace completey died, right when the area hit the cold snap. AAA heating came out same day to diagnose and repair our heater. Service was fantastic, from the quote I got from Ray on a new water heater to the day my old one actually sprung a leak and now needed immediate replacement. (That is what happens when you wait too long.) Ray made it happen the same day even though he was out of the office and all his techs were booked solid. I ended up meeting 4 techs and installers that day who stayed after hours to make sure all was satisfactory (there was a hiccup with a dented replacement from their supplier). The furnace in our guest apartment quit working without warning a couple of weeks ago. I called our contractor (not AAA) but after a few hours he still had not responded. I needed immediate assistance so I called AAA Heating & Cooling and reached their answering service. Someone called me back in about 15 minutes and together we were able to troubleshoot the issue over the phone. The next business day, a technician came by at 8am and did some further investigation but didn't recommend any further maintenance at that time. Unfortunately, the system quit working again within a couple of days so another technician came out and this time replaced a part. It has worked perfectly since then. Bottom line, if you want prompt service at reasonable prices, AAA is a great number to have on speed dial!

Hands down the best experience I have had with an HVAC company. I recently had them instal an AC unit and had the pleasure of dealing with John Rodarte. I had three companies come out and only John got back to me in a timely and professional fashion.
