Outstanding customer service, excellent work and attention to detail. Ed was very helpful explaining what work was to be done and took his time to do the job right. I am very satisfied with the work that was completed and now have brand new Heating and Air-conditioning system. Bill did an excellent job activating the heating system. I also have the peace of mind knowing that I have a 10 year parts and labor warranty. When Arturo came over to finish the insulation he was very professional and did an outstanding job. A Temp replaced our a/c unit earlier this summer. We had noticed a little drip in the garage. They promptly scheduled a repairman for the next day. Today, Bill showed up on time and secured the hoses to stop the drip. He explained everything and even gave us advice about external pipes. What I really appreciate is the professional competent in office and in the field. I always get a text and email with a photo, name and ETA of the service person. The work is completed promptly and thoroughly. And they clean up after themselves.

These guys are the best ! We had to replace our 28 year old gas furnace. Peter put together a pkg we could live with and afford. Raul and his apprentice were wonderful. Very polite and helpful. Fast installation. System works great and by my calculations should save us dollars monthly. They will be coming back to clean all the ductwork out. Thanks guys. Don diagnosed and repaired/rectified a problem we were having with our furnace (at one of the coldest days of the year). Really nice guy and he knew his stuff. He gave us advice on alternatives to our aging furnace, and setup an appointment for a consult with the office to discuss further. We have been using A-Temp for 12 years (and are a member of the Comfort Club), and have always been satisfied with the service we have received. We highly recommend A-Temp.

A-Temp Heating, Cooling & Electrical provided the installation of our new heating system a few years ago and we've used them yearly to do preventive maintenance on the system to keep it running the best that it can. This is what we had done today. Tyler was the representative who came out this year. He arrived on time, had a great attitude about the work and was a professional in what he did, how he documented it all and left things in great shape. The people at A-Temp are great to do business with, from the first phone you make to the follow-up they do to make sure the homeowner is happy. Someone knows what they are doing here.

We've been using A-TEMP for over 20 years across two homes. They've always been great to us. Professional and knowledgeable technicians, outstanding customer service, and reasonable rates. Their Comfort Club is a no brainer given all you get from the program: discounted prices on services and equipment, regular cleaning/maintenance of equipment, and perhaps most critical of all is the guaranteed 24 hour emergency service appointments or the diagnostic fee is waived. Frankly, we don't bother ever calling anyone else.

Keith has 34 years of experience. He should be requested because he did an awesome job. He spent time doing tests on multiple parts and explaining the AC unit. Which is good not to just make the first assumption. He also did a safety inspection and saw two big cracks in my 30 yr old furnace. He turned off my gas so nothing bad happens. I signed up for the membership account which provides annual inspections and discounts on services. I would highly recommend.

Cole was the tech this time and he was very personable, friendly, while maintaining complete professionalism. Cole asked just the right questions, thereby being able to recommend a solution that no one else has before. Because of that, he fixed a dilemma that has been an issue for the life of this current furnace (12 years). I've requested him to be my tech for further maintenance going forward. Real customer service is becoming rare lately, and Cole exemplifies true customer service backed by product knowledge, an even rarer commodity. I hope A-Temp knows they have a true gem.

The technician, Lee was very skilled at servicing our A/C. He explained a number of questions I had about the upstairs being warmer than the main level. He also explained how making an appointment for our attic van could lower the upstairs temperature by perhaps 2 degrees. I decided to use their electrical service. The electrician was able to put in an immediate fix on a couple of items. He also gave me good advice on what we explained would like to see happen. Installers SOMEHOW made it up in the snow and slush to my house that is 600+ feet to install my new furnace right when the snow hit. I was absolutely sure they would have to cancel. They were fast and very cordial and did a great job of explaining how to use the new system and thermostat. There was a problem with the furnace within a few hours after they left however, and I was starting to feel the temp drop. Can't lie, it was a cold night, but they were back by mid-day, again in the stormy weather and fixed it in about 15 minutes. Overall, I'm totally satisfied even though it was not a 100% perfect experience. I really appreciated the sense of urgency they showed in taking care of everything.

This is the first of several 5-star reviews. Every single person I’ve met or spoken with has been as nice as can be. Don came over and did a thorough assessment of my furnace and showed me photos of what the unit looked like inside and out. The 20+ year old furnace was cracked and corroded and was kaput. And I could very well have breathed my last breath, since carbon monoxide was being blasted through my system. That explained my extreme exhaustion and frequent headaches over the past year. Nobody wants to hear that they need a new furnace to the tune of $8-10K; however, I’m so grateful for their service and expertise and feel so confident as we rectify the problem. As I said, this will be the first of multiple reviews. Stay tuned for a review on tomorrow’s inspection, and on new furnace installation … WITH A/C!! Been wanting central air for 23 years, so it’s now going to become a reality.

The diagnostic appointment could not have gone smoother. We were able to get on the schedule right away. Kurt, the diagnostic expert, was super professional...he explained what was wrong with our gas heater and we made a plan to replace it. Our AC went out in the middle of this heat wave with more hot weather expected next week. We called many companies and A-Temp said they could come out Monday (today is Thursday). I took the appointment and to my surprise I got a call back they could come out this evening (same day)! Took Kurt minutes to figure out what was wrong and repair was quick. 50 year old ranch style house. Ducts we’re never cleaned including return ducts. Just had A Temp replace furnace couple months ago. As they put new state in looked up at return duct to furnace. About one inch thick dog hair/cat fur and clumpy dust globs through out the 2 foot duct. Clumps you see here where typical. This is just a little bit that fell out when starting to clean Took about 6 hours to clean. Huge vacuum system with big hose and chimney style rotating brush. Well worth the cost which was reasonable. Andrew although new to the company did a great job. Nice to see a “go getter” young man. Update 10/21/22. Turned on furnace this afternoon for the first time, blower did not come on heating system did not engage. Called a temp at almost 2 o’clock they told me they’d have somebody there before four. Don arrived early around three found that the vent pipe through the ceiling did not have the proper angle therefore water was collecting ( condensation) in the pipe leading to the roof so furnace would not work as vent was plugged with water he corrected the problem in short order and furnace is working properly now. Appreciated the quick response and professionalism.

My AC failed the day before the triple digit heat wave. We had a terribly hot night, and the following day we contacted A Temp as soon as they opened. The office staff gave us an appointment for the following afternoon, which I thought was pretty good since other companies were 2-3 weeks out. I received a call the same day from A Temp and was worried that they were going to cancel my appointment, but they gave me a same-day appointment instead. Matt came over and went directly to work in the afternoon heat. He identified the problem and got our AC working. Matt was frank in telling us we needed a new system, and I knew he was right. But for now, we are surviving the triple digit heat with a working AC. We are so thankful to Matt and the A Temp staff for getting us the help we needed so promptly during our crisis.

Keith was amazing. We all thought the old 1930s thermostat had finally kicked the bucket. Keith found that the vent from the furnace into the chimney was more than 50% plugged. . . He clean the connections swept the floor and make sure the furnace came on went through its cycle and turned off - before leaving. Everyone is warm and happy.

Kurt did an amazing job and was able to get my furnace fixed. I went from no heat with a constant blower fan with a/c on and off to a properly working system in a matter of an hour. The previous people who helped severely messed up the wiring, and lost thr diagram for wiring. Kurt was able to diagnose the system, and fix it without a wiring diagram and was able to fix it fast. I would recommend this company to anyone and will be using this company and hopefully kurt again after winter for a heat pump!.

I had A-TEMP and specifically Matt Hansen come back and reconfigure my electrical panel for my generator and they did a great job. Super informative and great work. January 2023 I continue to be an A-TEMP service subscriber for quick access to their electrical services. Finding a good electrician on a moments notice is hard and being able to tap into this service for that is worth the subscription. I had an electrical issue with my backup house panel and generator due to a weather power outage in the area and Matt was able to get over and fix my electric panel and re-secure my backup plug outlet on the side of the house and then walk through switching my panel over to my generator during power outages. He was beyond responsive and helpful on something my builder installed on my house but never walked through and confirmed operation. Matt was great, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him and A-TEMP. Update September 2022 Had my recurring service with A-TEMP and always feel real good knowing my furnace system is working well. I had Jamin (“Ha meen”) today and he was great. Super clear, very efficient and professional and easy to engage with. Definitely recommend this company. Arturo from A-TEMP perform my semi annual cleaning service and it was great. He did a very through job for both my under house furnace and my heat pump. Super fun to talk with always professional. Lays out the status of things very well with no overt pressure of up sell. However through the regular cleaning and maintenance of my furnace and heat pump, the recognition of a well function system and quality of air has helped me understand the importance of regular duct cleaning that are priced competitively and delivered professionally. March 2021 I recently became an A-Temp subscription customer to leverage the ability to have electrician support when needed. I was able to use that service today in fixing a dead electrical circuit within my home fire alarms and also install a new plug in a bathroom pocket for a bidet toilet. Justin did a great job with the work and was a blast to chat with during the job as well. Great attention to detail and helping me understand why my fire alarm connection was bad. I don't like electrical issues and they pop up at any time, especially with the added draw we are all having working from home. Knowing I can get a super quality electrician as part of my furnace heating package I purchased just cemented the value of this subscription service. Definitely happy with the result.

Tony did a great job for us. He repaired our A/C after we had new siding installed. The fixtures were left on the ground next to the A/C unit. My husband attempted to reinstall the components and got a NASTY shock. He was wearing plastic soled shoes and doesn't have a pacemaker, so it was a matter of discomfort only. Mere moments prior to his experience I was next to him and we were handling the the parts at the same time. I chose the right time to check on the dog or whatever. The A/C went out on my unit. I called to make an appointment and the soonest they could get me in was a Wednesday (6 days from when I called), which I didn't think was too bad a turn around for being the middle of the summer. On the Saturday before they had an opening come up so I got my problem taken care of early. Tony was very professional and explained exactly what was happening. He showed pictures of the test results. He replaced the capacitor, which went out. I mentioned to him that my upstairs doesn't cool like I thought it should. I've lived in my house for 25 years and didn't know there was a damper on my duct going upstairs. He said some ducts have one and some don't. He showed me the positions to direct more heat or cool air upstairs. I now know that in the winter I want it close to the off position and in the summer to turn it so it's fully open. Derek from A Temp was on time, professional and knowledgeable. Explained what he was looking for and why in troubleshooting our 20 year old gas furnace and AC system. AC was not cooling.. Unfortunately the system was diagnosed as too old to repair and too unsafe to operate. Furnace could put carbon monoxide into the house with internal cracks in heat unit. AC system had leaks and had refrigerant no longer used in modern systems. Timing not great for budget, but a new system and options are being quoted, including switching to a heat pump system. We are adding 500 square feet to house this summer, so it was likely that a larger HVAC system would have been needed regardless. A new York HVAC system installed and running great just before the latest heat wave, Jairo come out several days later to test equipment settings and operation for warranty confirmation and records. He seemed thorough and professional.

This company really went above and beyond for me. I got multiple quotes, one was lower price ....but I decided to go with them because of the professionalism by the customer service Representatives that answer the phone and mainly because of how Cesar was. He was the salesman sent to my house. He took his time in carefully explaining how the system works and what they would be doing during install. He listened to my questions and never made me feel differently for asking what I was perceived as being silly questions. He is great at his job. One big thing that I also liked was his closing approach. Instead of going for the kill at the end. He said to " talk it over with your wife and let me know". He left it at that. He left my house and that was that. I called him several times over the next few days with various questions and sent a few emails. He never once seem to be bothered by it. The other companies did. When I called him to complete the transaction. He was excellent at what he did. I was able to esign through DocuSign. Contract was completed within 5 mins. Now I just have to wait for it to be installed......I chose to wait it out longer for install. Cesar is really good at what he does. He will make you feel like you are purchasing a worthwhile investment instead of a luxury item. Great service and we got through the historic high temperatures this last week without any heat pump problems. A-Temp is a great company. I was so happy to see the A-Temp truck at my neighbor's, because I had been unable to get my heat pump installer back to the house to check on my system. He did a great job. Our system had failed during the night on New Year’s Eve. We reported it to them when we got up and he was here by 1:30 pm on New Year’s Day. He fixed it quickly at no cost because we are on the comfort maintenance program. That is pretty great service!

The sales rep came out to quote me on a new heat pump it was very condescending and quite honestly he told me things that just weren’t true. A temp heating and cooling is so wonderful! They helped us get back online after an AC outage that happened on the hottest day of the year (within hours of when I called in). It was a very old system we had plans to replace the following month. Shortly thereafter they installed a new furnace and AC. Recently we had them out to complete some unrelated electrical work. The electrician finished the job faster than expected and as a result, gave us a considerable discount. We also are members of their comfort club which means they provide annual servicing of our equipment. TLDR: loved them, and the price was fair. I’ll be calling them next year to replace our electrical panel I would absolutely recommend this place! We called looking to install a central AC and upgrade our thermostat because we believed the one we had was broken. Through our consultations, we were informed that our furnace was coming close to the end of its life as well (this was consistent with all the companies we had quotes from). We chose a temp based on the price, product and interactions we had with their staff. Their quote was between the others but when we researched the brands they were offering, reviews convinced us the AC they offered was worth the extra money. UPDATE: Atemp called and said they had a earlier opening to install our new system. 😁 just in front of the heatwave. Hunter and Trevor came out and got right to work. The installation only took 1 day. They checked the ducting in the crawl space and made some repairs. The installation is super clean and well done, including moving the condenser unit back behind our fence. I would recommend them to anyone. Wells done! Thank you. The system is keeping us cool in 110 degree heat. Keith came out to check our system due to not cooling. Found that it has lost refrigerant pressure. It’s an old system with the out of use coolant and needs replaced. Very nice tech very professional. Got us scheduled to look into replacement. Thanks Keith.
