Ideal Air Conditioning just amazed us. We had a new system put in several years ago but Ideal Energy and they did a great job installing the system at that time. But fast forward to Tuesday this week and our AC went out!! It is miserable in Phoenix right now and we were furious, stressed and miserable. We called Ideal Air and Adam came out Wednesday to fix the system he did some repairs they system was up and running! However, but the time we got home the system had gone down again. We called Ideal Air again and they said they were going to have to replace the compressor but that would take a few weeks due to ordering and shipping. We obviously can't wait 2 weeks for a compressor so we set up a call with the owner of Ideal Air Alex and we went over all the issues we were experiences and some were our fault (as the customer) not being timely replacing the filters but there was an error on the companies side as well with setting up maintenance. So we did have quite a few issues to work through, but we did and Alex wanted to make us happy, and he succeeded! He had Adam come out Thursday morning to replace the whole AC unit we have a brand new Tran AC unit and they (Adam and a few other technicians) installed in less then 4 hours. We honestly could not be happier with this outcome. Alex really made everything right for us. We will not be using another company again, we will be customer's for life due to the companies hard work and dedication to us customers. Thank you Ideal Air for getting us a new system, being so cooperative, responsive and customer friendly. Alex and Adam have really gone above and beyond for us and we are beyond grateful.

I could not be more pleased with the results of the work that was completed. I had an energy audit performed on my very late 70's home, as my energy bills seemed to be quite high for a single story. Brandon Walton was sent out to perform the initial audit and provided a simple three tier plan on what would bring my home up to 2022 spec's, along with a plethora of information regarding the ducting, insulation, and condition of my home's cooling system. Chose the duct and vent repair option and Ideal Energy sent Michael Hahn out to perform the work. Communication was amazing mixing both text messages, calls, and emails prompting me on every step of the project Michael and his crew completed. They performed this work all while never meeting the team at Ideal so I felt safe and secure when having a business enter into my home. The work completed was clean and greatly improved the overall air flow into each of my rooms. Highly recommend the team at Ideal Energy for any air conditioning/heating/air quality needs. Thank you!

Ideal Air did an amazing job from the very beginning Alex was very professional and responsive with the quotes and extremely helpful explaining the job in detail. Cristian and all the other technicians were very polite and professional. They did an amazing job of prepping the areas of the house with plastic covering the furniture and the floors. When the job was complete the techs cleaned up all areas as if they were never there. I would highly recommend this company.

Very professional and knowledgeable .When Brandon inspected the house he did a very good job. He found a lot that needed to be fixed . I was on a limited budget and he was willing to work with me through that. Shows they can be flexible to meet your needs as well as suggest the best for what you're wanting! Update: I signed the contract they came over and did the work and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them they took what was the previous owners hack job and turned it into a legit installation that works now. I'm a happy customer 😀.

I arrived home after a long day to find my house very warm (on a 110 degree day). I called Ideal as they had helped me once before when my heater had issues. They were so responsive, their staff Adam was at our home within the hour. Adam was so thorough at inspecting our unit and explaining the issue (although the unit was serviced by another company months ago for cleaning it seems the coils were dirty). He never tried to up-sell me. He worked quickly, although he had a few moments to say “hi” to my dog Indie when she jumped up onto his knee. I’m so grateful they made it out today, their customers really are prioritized and valued. It would have been a miserable night for Indie and I. My only regret was not having them do the initial service- moving forward they will be the ones cleaning and maintaining our unit. .

Brandon was awesome and so was the other guy, sorry I can't remember his name. Very helpful and knowledgeable. As far as the actual job I was at work but my wife was here and she said everything was done great. The guys cleaned up and even put some of our furniture back in the garage. As far as the service there's a huge difference already in the temperature in the house it feels warmer and not as cold. Looking forward to Summer for once lol. Want to see what a difference it makes then and the temperature and also the electricity bill. Overall satisfaction was excellent and I would definitely recommend them to anybody who needed the same service. We will definitely be using them in the future if need be.

When our AC died at the beginning of September, they loaned us a portable cooler until the install could be complete. The team installed the new unit quickly but, by accident, they left a hole in my roof. It rained the next day and water leaked into my attic and ruined some of the drywall in the bathroom. To their credit, they sent someone one to repair the damage. It took a few weeks to get the entire repair done, but I appreciate that they made sure that the job was done correctly. In the end, the new AC unit works well and we are happy with it.

Wes, their rep, was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and well experienced. He was thorough with his inspection and detailed with his assessment and proposal. Adam W. was very helpful in diagnosing and fixing the issue we had called about. He also showed us some general maintenance/cleaning that needed to be performed to keep our system running well and completed the work right then. The only unfortunate part was that it took them 4 business days to return our initial call to request them to come check our system, but that’s not Adam’s fault. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Let me start by saying that you will be hard pressed to find a person more passionate about indoor air quality than me. After struggling with bizarre health symptoms my entire life and then watching my poor children do the same, I set out on a decade-long mission to figure out how and why we were 'different'. As it turns out, we have a rare genetic immunodeficiency passed down from my mother's side of the family. In effect, we are the proverbial coal mine canaries of our world. Since there wasn't much to be done for us treatment-wise from a traditional medical perspective, I focused on prevention. Among the things that have made a huge impact on our health is focusing on indoor air quality. Even in a home with zero issues (which is highly unlikely), things like VOCs, fumes from cooking, and endotoxins from tap water are just some of the indoor air contaminants that can build up in our modern, tightly sealed, energy efficient homes. I wish it was as simple as running air purifiers but HEPA filters can actually make some contaminants (like endotoxins) worse. Fresh air ventilation is critical but unfortunately rarely included in standard construction. Thankfully, I found Ideal Air who was able to install an ERV (energy recovery ventilator) in our home. An ERV or HRV (heat recovery ventilator) will pull fresh air in without a massive hit to the HVAC and energy usage. While certainly not inexpensive, it's a worthy investment in our health and future.

We’ve actually used these guys to do three or four AC system installs for us. It’s convenient for us because they are on time, on budget, and responsive. They put in mostly the little mini split systems for us. not a problem yet and it’s been quite a few years since they did the first one.

Christian and his team did a great job. They even had to overcome an unforeseen issue with a cracked tube. The team, including Alex, worked with me and were able to solve the issue. My only complaint is that there wasn't a flow balancing performed, nor was it mentioned that this was an extra charge and an additional trip charge. When we used Ideal for our previous house, this was all included so I assumed it would be this time as well. It only makes sense to do a flow balancing on a new system as that is the only way to make sure it's performing optimally.

Adam arrived on time and did a great job of describing what he had diagnosed and repaired the problem. Our AC was up and running 13 hours after I contact them on Friday night. I have had nothing but issues with other ac companies that state they use an engineered design for the ductwork of the home. Ideal air is the only company that I have found that truly engineers the ductwork to get the proper c f m flow to each room. Additionally, they offer and install insulation for knee walls, sealing air leaks, and blown in insulation all down with true professionalism. If your contractor states use their ac guy don't do it unless its ideal air. They provide plans, discuss with you and show you your attic space so the layman/homeowner will understand. Brandon, had to follow the mess I had with the contractor. We came up with a solution to meet the needs of the home without starting over. Please don't make the mistake I made hire the company that specializes in home comfort and truly has an engineer on their staff.

We started out having Ideal Energy do a home energy audit of our 1968 house. Wes was great and gave us a thorough assessment with recommendations. After we messed around for 9 months+ not making a decision on the recommended actions, when we reached back out to adjust the scope/update the estimate he made requested adjustments no problem. We moved forward with getting our entire A/C duct system redesigned and replaced for both of our units. Alex came out to take detailed measurements of our home to create a model and came up with an all-new energy efficient duct design. When it was time to do the work the crew that came was absolutely great. Michael and his whole team were upbeat, friendly, hard-working, and meticulous. They didn't seem to mind (I'm pretty sure even enjoyed) having our dog follow them around "helping" them and even loved on our cats. Everything was carefully masked off to minimize dust and dirt, and any rogue insulation, drywall, etc was always cleaned up at the end of each day. When any problems arose (there weren't many) they were quick to take ownership and get it fixed. We would most definitely recommend Ideal. They weren't our lowest bid but they clearly knew what they were doing and it was worth it. Can't wait for the summer now to feel the effects of the much-improved system!

He went through to step by step and at the end we had a good understanding of what needed to be done and why. I had been looking for help is assessing the state of my HVAC system for some time and hadn't found anyone who was able to provide me insights into what was going on with the cooling in my house. We were experience significant temperature variations across the house. I suspected there was an issue with our ducts but had several people look at the situation and couldn't get any answers that made me confident in the recommended solutions. Ideal came and immediately I had confidence that they would be able to help me. Wes did an extensive evaluation of the house, going up onto the roof, going up into the attic, taking pictures and sensor readings. He spent significant amount of time putting together a report and recommendations and did a great job explaining the issues he found in a way that I could understand. I was left with a clear set of options to resolve and confident that they address my issues. Fantastic experience and would highly recommend them to anyone experiencing issues with your HVAC system.

I called after business hours (7:50PM) and was contacted back, no less than 8 minutes later with troubleshooting advice. When my AC still did not work properly, an appointment was set for the very next day between 11:00AM and 1:00. I received a text with the technician's name, photo and a brief bio, ahead of time and was texted again when he was on his way, which was not long after 11:00AM. Adam was highly professional, knowledgeable and even cheerful, in spite of the heat coming off of our black asphalt roof. He was quick and efficient in replacing our broken fan motor and even wore booties while in the house. Great experience!

After getting burned, buy AZ Dukes of air, Ideal Air truly is family feel driven, they where able to come out as scheduled, verify our prior company's install and settings meet Tranes guidelines. They helped with air flow and device settings and understanding of systems. Adam W was our Technician, more a specialist he astonished with his skill set, and people skills. We had another A/C company come out, same one we have used for years and had been happy with, but this year the very young tech they sent seemed more interested in trying to sell us a new unit and told us out 6 year old unit would die within a month. We knew we needed a 2nd opinion and found Ideal via the SRP contractor list. The person who booked the appointment was very professional and helpful with some hints when I explained the situation. The tech, Adam W, was awesome. He inspected everything and gave us a full explaination of the situation and confirmed the A/C is not our problem but our duct work and insultation are horrible. He did need to recharge the freon and clean out another device so now our home is actually cooler by 7 degrees than it would get and we have an inspector for the duct work and insultation coming. Another great thing is this company sent a text with the tech's photo and bio so we knew who to be expecting as these days too many scammers out there claiming to be a service person.

Super detailed report of the work they could do when I was shopping for new ac unit and new duct work. Alex super professional to engineer the best locations of the vents. Everyone was on time to the earlier part of the quoted time frame. Mikie and his crew did a great job the first day of making sure they cleaned up after themselves. However the Second day was the opposite. I’ve had painting/maintenance jobs over the summers and one thing I know is about cleaning up after you drop paint when it’s fresh. When the job was finished, There was still a lot of insulation in my yard. There were drops of plaster here and there throughout the house. Debris from the cut outs on floor and door jams. Couple scuff marks on wall/frame. It was the opposite is day one. Like they rushed to get done. Still recommend the company, but was disappointed that I had to spend the afternoon next day cleaning up the mess. Update: The owner, Alex, got back to me about the problem and handled it well, sending someone out to fix a couple thing. Couple years later, there was an issue with the AC and Alex again reached out and as soon as possible sent repair man (Chris) that showed up on time and repaired the ac.

I hired Ideal Energy to perform an energy audit and eventually to improve my existing AC system and I was really impressed. The guy that came out to inspect my house, Brandon, was really respectful and professional. He explained everything he was going to do and talked me through what his findings were taking time to explain everything. I've had other companies come and none of them actually bothered to figure out what size AC unit my house needed. Brandon did and showed me the model that he used to calculate it, what factors went into it and what future changes to the house would do to improve it. Honestly, I just really appreciated having everything explained so thoroughly without being forcefully sold on anything. When they did the work they were quick and very professional. Based on my other estimates, it was a good price and about middle of the road for the work being done. It remains to be seen how much better by AC system performs this summer, but I'm confident recommending them on my experience alone. At the very least have them give you an estimate and decide for yourself!

My experience with Ideal Air has been great - ranging from high-level discussions with Chris (the owner) to deciding on details with Alex to the way Christian managed his team in an incredibly professional way (I think the house was cleaner after install). I was able to separate systems for a main house and an in-law unit - both extremely high performance systems, including new duct work. Many installers will tell you that what you have is fine (and they are kind of right), but if you're wanting the best quality and best environmental impact for your home, Ideal will do it right.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! If I could give 10 stars I would! I hired a contractor to build a recording studio in my garage. There were multiple issues with the build, but the biggest issue was the installation of the Samsung mini-split. The unit wouldn't keep the room cool (especially on hot days) even though it was brand new. When I called Ideal Air Conditioning for help, Chris came out to troubleshoot the existing unit. He found multiple leaks and gave me a variety of options to repair/replace. Ultimately, I decided to swap out the wall mounted mini split for a single cassette ceiling AC (less intrusive for my space). The team at Ideal was a breath of fresh air. When I let Chris know I was leaning towards a full replacement, he sent out an auditor (also named Chris and who was just as amazing) to ensure the unit would fit properly in the space. The day of the installation, Chris and his team arrived right on time. They took painstaking efforts to wrap and protect all of my equipment and left the studio spotless. The installation went great and the room is cooling perfectly. The additional insulation they added in my ceiling has also been a game changer. The quality of work is top notch - I just wish I would have hired them in the first place!! Huge thank you to both Chris', Elena, Maxine and the entire team at Ideal Air. The company and employees did a very good job converting my old two unit AC system to a new 1 unit setup. The duct install was top notch and all the employees were clean and professional. They took better care of my house than I do when working on stuff. I inspected the air sealing in the attic before the new insulation blow-in and found a few missed air sealing spots. I pointed them out and the team lead, Christian, took care of all of it. Most of these were easy to miss and I even found a couple new ones on my final inspection that I had missed the night before. Overall, it was a good experience for me and I am a pretty picky customer. They do cost more but you get what you pay for. And next time around I only have 1 AC unit to replace! I am sure my AC bills will also be way lower next summer but have to wait 9 months to find out...

I lived under mountain of dust for 2 years. I could have dusted all surfaces every day and it still wouldn't be enough. I was miserable. I purchased a 35 year old home and did what I thought was the right thing to do; Aeroseal existing ductwork and blow in and new insulation. Original insulation company never even offered me to air seal my attic, or obtain a rebate. They took my money and ran. Same with Aeroseal. Sealed up faulty ducts. Save yourself time and get a real energy auditor to your home that can help identify the issue. No guesses, just results. My initial meeting was with Wes. We had a lot of issues to address and get to the bottom of. He was professional and a great brainstorming partner. We settled on removing the insulation to get a clean attic to address the issues. They were vast. Faulty and rotting ductwork, gaping holes coming into my home and poor attic insulation. Ideal, repaired knee walls, put in new ductwork, air sealed and calked all barriers, removed and blew in new insulation, and spent 2 days buttoning up my attic. Christian and his team were great. They were happy and liked the hard work they performed. I highly recommend Ideal Air Conditioning and Insulation. They don't contract out labor. It's their team from beginning to end. Use them. You won't be disappointed!

Have you ever been so impressed, so satisfied, and so extremely happy with a contractor’s work that you felt compelled to log onto a website and leave them a great review? Neither have I, until this week. Ideal Air is the real deal! We’ve lived in our 25 year old home for about 4 years now. The previous owners had installed a good a/c system but it was approaching its end of life. It was pretty noisy, wasn’t well-suited for the home’s original duct work, and wasn’t meeting our expectations. But we lived with it for four years. For the record, I know very little about the design intricacies of residential HVAC systems. But I knew that I wasn’t satisfied with the temperature differences I felt moving from room to room in the house. After a bit of research online, I landed on a local company called Ideal Air (previously Ideal Energy). I was impressed by the positive reviews I read. But I was just as impressed by the lack of negative reviews. For the record, I had previously reached out to another HVAC company that fully met my anticipated level of dissatisfaction. Now I’m not a complete jerk but it takes more than a free cheap flashlight and a stuffed dog to win me over; especially when I’m spending tons of money on a system that I’m not overly familiar with. I also contracted with another company to blow some more insulation up in my attic thinking that would solve all of my temperature differential issues. I had installed an Ecobee thermostat in the house and place temperature sensors in every room so I was really excited to see the impact of that the newly blown insulation would make! Sadly, $1,500 later, the temperature didn’t change one iota. Not a single degree difference! What a waste of time and money that was. Back to Ideal Air…so I called up Ideal Air after reading their reviews and a guy named Brandon came over. He was professional, helpful, and completely understood my plight. He spent a considerable amount of time crawling up around in my attic and inspecting the rooms and came back with a couple of recommended quotes. He walked me through the options, wasn’t pushing the hard sell, and went on about his way. And he didn’t try to give me a free flashlight or cheap stuffed animal for my time. A few months later, as the Arizona summer roared on, I continued to work from home in the sauna I called my den, and spent endless sleepless nights listening to the noisy a/c fan kicking on and off throughout the night. I decided enough was enough and I dug out my old email quote from Brandon and told him that I was ready to fix my HVAC issue once and for all. Fast forward a few months and I am now sitting in my lovely home with a complete new HVAC system with improved insulation, and completely updated duct work, and it is absolute perfection. I fully expected there to be an improvement but I wasn’t expecting such a change. Every room of the house is now comfortable and the HVAC system is incredibly quiet. I feel as if we’ve leaped forward about 20 years in the world HVAC systems, and I suppose we have. All I can say is, it was completely worth it, and I’m so glad that I took a chance on Ideal Air. As an example, we have a little coconut oil in our bathroom, as well as a bunch in the kitchen pantry. Ideal Energy what can I say but what’s in the name Ideal. They took my 50 year old house and brought it into the new millennium. Here is a little about my situation, my house had the old swap cooler vents and a 22 year old AC that work fine. To get air to the hot spots we would have to adjust our vents. The old AC would run 24-7 when the temperature was over 104 degrees set at 80 on thermostat. Ideal came a put a new Bosh AC 18 SER all new vents and each one had its own ducting, added a return in the laundry room hall. They also added 3” of insulation in the attic. Now you can walk anywhere in the house and the room are the same temp, and the AC shuts off. Even the butter on the counter is not melted. LOL. Ideals employees are top notch, courteous, professional and hard working. Mike the supervisor was awesome to work with he took time to explain everything and answered all our questions. Alex did the estimate and was awesome too as he address all my concerns. Ideal even did the SRP rebates for us. I can say I never do reviews unless they are warranted if you use Ideal you will not be disappointed. Thank you Ideal you made a big difference to our comfort having to work at home these days.

I had Ideal come out to my place for an evaluation to get everything gutted and replaced - ducting, air handler, and heat pump - in addition to properly sealing and insulating my attic. The original ductwork in my house was not properly designed and leaked, causing lots of ingress and was very inefficient - there were huge temperature variations throughout the house. Also, my heat pump had just died for the third time in about a year, so I figured it was time to bite the bullet and replace everything. Ideal sent out an engineer (Brandon) to assess everything and he put together a very thorough set of quotes, and explained the differences between each of the systems the quotes were built around so we could conclude together which system would be best for me. In addition to a full gutting and replacement of the existing HVAC system, the statement of work included fulling sealing the attic and insulating to R-49. 24 month, zero percent financing was available to me, but I don't know if that promotion will be available indefinitely. Since my system was completely dead, I was able to get my project expedited. I think it took about a week or so to start work, and 3 days to complete. The installers used a lot of plastic drop cloths to keep dust and debris down to a minimum (it wasn't perfect, but the cleanup I had to do afterwards was very minimal - they definitely set a high bar compared to every other contractor I've ever worked with, ever. If you want it to be perfect, I recommend getting your own plastic drop cloths and covering up anything you need to be spotless, just as a precaution). They were very fast and professional, and they hauled away all of my old ducting and equipment. I only have two very minor complaints. My first is that (I assume) when heaving that massive air handler into my attic, they broke the light switch cover for my attic lights. This wasn't a big deal, it's cheap, easy to replace and I had a spare, but I wish they would've at least mentioned it. Second was a little confusing. My laundry room has an exhaust fan, but the grill wasn't on it. The grill was sitting on a shelf in my laundry room. One of the installers decided to install the grill with a drywall screw through the bezel. I have the appropriate plastic mounting bolt for it, but I didn't install it because I was lazy. Anyway, I also wish they would've asked before installing the grill, because now I'll have to fix a hole in it when I get around to installing it correctly. Aside from that, I actually crawled up into the attic when they were done, and inspected everything. All of the work was extremely high quality and the craftsmanship/attention to detail on the HVAC, sealing, and insulation is impressive. Now, my power bill is much lower than it was over the previous year (went from about $180 down to $120, which is amazing considering it was hotter and there was a rate hike) and amazingly, the whole house is the same temperature. I don't hear the air handler, the heat pump is very quiet and can't be heard in the house, and everything is just great and working as it should (I'm writing this review a few months after install, because I wanted to see if I was going to have any issues and how the company would respond if I did before writing. I haven't had any issues, and the system performs flawlessly). 100%, I would recommend IDEAL. They employ engineers and industry accredited people to do the evaluations, calculations, and design of the system, and the installers do fantastic work. Came out perfect in the end. and I am very happy with the whole experience and the system.

We hired Ideal to redesign our duct system, rip out the old and replace everything from the HVAC unit on the roof to the registers in the walls. Then blow in insulation to bring us up to R49 minimum. Brandon and Alex were very professional and easy to work with in the design and planning process. Mike and his team were awesome on the installation side! I was very impressed and comforted by Mike’s explanation of every step, providing us updates at mid-day and end of day without asking - he kept us well informed throughout. He also took the time to address any questions I had as they came up, made recommendations and handled anything unexpected on the fly. He really put my wife and I at ease. They got all the work done in the planned 2 day timeframe, were very pleasant and cleaned up like pros! They made sure to prep the house with paper and plastic on the floor each day, taped off vents To keep dust in the attic and completely cleaned up each day. At the end they cleaned walls, finger prints, scuff marks, swiffered throughout, you name it. Since completion just a few days ago, we quickly noticed our unit comes on very infrequently and the house has stayed within 5 degrees all day/night in mild temps. I expect it will perform very well as the weather gets colder, and also when it gets hot next summer.

I had started with an home energy audit. 99 dollars to start. Brian was very thorough and took pictures of many issues I have with my AC system. Well I ended up getting a new AC system installed by the company. The install team was great. Friendly and efficient. After all the work was done. They install team made sure to clean up everything after words. Even go into the home to insure no insulation made it into the home threw the ducts. Then the main install guy explained in detail how to use the new system and manage it from my computer, phone and directly on the thermostat. Will be using them again for my duct work issues. I recommend this company any day.

I'd add Ideal Energy to your short list, if you're calling for quotes. By far, the best and most honest experience I've had with any contractor/vendor. Their professionalism, knowledge, integrity and cleanliness were second to none. The owner, Alex, is thoughtful, patient and highly customer service oriented. I had a new AC unit and all new ductwork installed. Before making any recommendation on unit size, number of ducts, or quoting a price, they took measurements, assessed each room and performed a load test – as part of their free estimating process. Using their proprietary software, they determined I could reduce the number of ducts in the house and decrease the size of my AC unit, and run more efficiently while keeping the house cooler. They were right. As opposed to up-selling or making recommendations merely based on square footage, they actually proposed a smaller unit and produced evidence to support their findings. Apologies for the lengthy comment, but (IMO) they're worthy consideration. They're not the least expensive company out there nor should they be. As the old adage goes: You get what you pay for.

These are THE AC people you want. I'll never use anyone else. Summary: Our house had terrible hot/cold spots. Kids would be sweating while our room was quite chilly. Now the air in every room in the house is always within 1 degree (I have a temp sensor I've moved around to verify)! All without a new system or any fancy dampers. Just good, ol' fashioned math. THANK YOU! I've since had them out when my AC went out. Replaced the capacitor and answered all my questions and the service tech was super friendly. Other things to know: - They're not the cheapest. But I only want to do major things like redoing all my house's ductwork once. So I'm OK paying more if it's a better product. They also did a good job at giving me several different options, ranging from a bandaid to completely new everything. - These guys do the legwork. To really know how to design your ducts (and install the right size AC), your installer should be doing a heat load calculation that takes into account the size of windows, heights of ceilings, amount of insulation, etc. During the initial consult, they spent 2 hours here assessing the situation and doing things the right way. Then, weeks before the install, the owner spent another several hours measuring everything in the house and talking through what they were planning on doing. And it paid off! Every room in the house is so perfectly comfortable. - The duct install was incredibly messy. We had dust everywhere. They did their best to clean up but it just got in every nook and cranny in the house. This was partly our fault as we had opened up the hallway to remove the soffit, as well. Kudos for them doing everything they could to make it a little less worse. - Everyone I've interacted with has been just absolutely friendly and extremely knowledgeable, happy to answer any question I've had. - I won't use anyone else now. Had mediocre experiences with other companies, but nothing this good. Planning on having them seal and insulate the attic when our renovation is done. And they'll be who we call when our 12-year-old AC eventually bites the dust. THANK YOU IDEAL AIR!

I replaced both the original Goodman A/C 3.5 and 4 ton units (16 years) with a single 5 ton Trane VX18 TruComfort, thermostat and new ducts with Comfort Link II zoning. It is like having 4 separate thermostats with one for each zone on one A/C system. My house has never felt as comfortable and cool even when new. I don't miss programming two thermostats and schedules to try and save money either. My bills have been cheaper and we leave it at 78 through out the house unlike the old system. The A/C was done in June 2019 and have been happy ever since. My daughter also replaced hers around the same time with Ideal also and has been totally happy. I highly recommend. P.S. They also did a Manual J which should tell you something.

This is actually the second time Adam saved us from the brutal reality of Arizona summers. The first was for the start of season tune up and the most recent was when the older of the two units punched out. (Amazing how quickly the house warms up when the AC takes the day off.) Here’s the short version: My experience with Ideal Energy was absolutely beyond my expectations. They were professional, on time, and I couldn’t be happier with my home’s new AC and Furnace. If you’re shopping for HVAC services, don’t hesitate to call these guys. If you want the details: We purchased an older home. Built in the 1980’s and it had its quirks; its had things break. We’ve had multiple contractors to our house to fix and install various things around the home. Windows repaired, blinds installed, drywall repaired, patio installations. We had a few AC quotes prior to working with Ideal Energy. We needed new ductwork. Our house had add-ons that just weren’t getting air properly. We voiced our concerns to other HVAC companies, but all they wanted to so was replace our AC unit. This would have left our 35-year-old furnace and 35-year-old ductwork in place to run a brand-new AC unit. In my mind that was like putting a new engine in a 35-year-old car, and not bothering to replace the worn-out tires. We said we wanted all of it fixed, but with other contractors it fell on deaf ears. “I can do the AC but we don’t to ducts.” I’ve had contractors come in with wild ideas to save money, including going and purchasing the AC unit myself, so I can save money with credit card points. I’ve got quotes written down on blank sheets of paper with no real explanation or break down for what I was buying. I’ve had contractors, in fact nearly all of them, fail to follow up when they said they would. My experience with Alex and Ideal Energy left the competition in the dark. Alex showed up not only in the window he had promised, he gave my updates as to when exactly he would arrive. He showed up with a power point presentation outlying MY HOUSE. My floorplan was in his power-point. He explained the problems with my current duct working. He explained several solutions we could implement with various price points. He calculates the exact tonnage required for my home, based on computer simulations. Not a generalized rule of thumb like every other HVAC company that showed up had offered. We settled on a state-of-the-art Zoned AC system. I can individually monitor and change the temperatures in various parts of my home. I can opt to cool infrequently used rooms less and keep the Master chillier at night without cooling my living room as much. While only using the single AC unit. It’s absolutely incredible. I didn’t even know something like this existed. Alex’s crew showed up on time with a convoy of trucks to remove my old system and install the new one. The task was a huge undertaking. His crew spent the better part of 3 solid days in the attic ensuring everything was good to go. I’m chilly in rooms of my house that have never been cold before. An AC is a big investment. Let Ideal Energy take care of you. This has been the most streamlined, turnkey process I’ve had done to my house. Which is amazing. Considering its by far the biggest project I’ve had done. Don’t hesitate to call them, they’ll take care of you.

One or two 'helpers?' in crew incorrectly positioned two registers contrary to the exceptionally detailed drawings which customer caught and which Ideal Energy corrected and repaired without hesitation. Ergo, understand and pay attention to the drawings. Hard to imagine a better experience.

My husband and I found Ideal Energy on Google. They came out for their Energy Audit and found that the ducting in our home (built in 1988) had several leaks. They explained that this not only meant that cool air was going into our attic, it also meant that dust and insulation were blowing into our living areas! They also discovered that the return and ducting going into our new 15 SEERS air conditioning unit was not adequate, so the unit could not function at its high rating. We made an appointment to have the ducting replaced, vents sealed, etc. Our home is SO cool and comfortable now! We are amazed, actually. We bought our home 5 months ago and have never experienced an Arizona summer, so we are so glad we are prepared. The short version is we were extremely pleased overall. The longer version is that Alex and his team did a great job. One thing that stands out is that I had several AC companies come out to give a quote (just curious the cost of replacement as my units are 18 years old now) for a new system and ALL of them quoted me larger SER units and I asked what about issue with the vents in the house and leaks? They all looked at me and had nothing to say. Alex was the only one to explain to me I can go with smaller ton AC unit if you seal up the house properly. I googled and found an article that stated exactly what Alex told me that 69% of AC units are over sized! Now we find out about Ideal energy and with the rebates could not afford to not do it. They found major issues with leaks in the ducts and lack of insulation when the house was built. Our room over the garage is no longer cold in the winter and to hot in the summer. The heating and AC is more even through out the house. Money well spent. We had one follow up with Alex and he made time to come all the way out to resolve it! Big thanks for Chris and his team for the work they did! I have neighbors that spent $15,000 for over priced AC units and have told me that their bills are the same. To bad they did not call Ideal Energy to audit their homes first and fix the issues with leakage. I usual do not have the time to put of a review but reviews and personal reference from a friend helped me to decide to get this work done and I am extremely glad we did.

My Heating and A.C (HVAC) unit stopped blowing hot air this winter. I called multiple HVAC contractors each of which bid way to high to fix or replace the unit. Then after thorough research I called “Ideal Energy”. Alex the companies owner came and evaluated the unit for replacement and quoted a price, after learning of our financial situation Alex was so compassionate that he offered multiple discounts and ended up out bidding the other companies with the LOWEST Quoted Price. Once Ideal Energies team including Jake and Nick came they worked absolutely Meticulously to make sure the Trane 16 Sear unit we selected was installed perfectly! They started on Wednesday at 7am and did a Meticulously Perfect installation all the way through 5pm. After the installation Chris took additional time to teach me how to use my Nexia Trane Wi-Fi thermostat including the App installation. As a bonus on top of all this high quality work their warranty for labor of 3 years is among the longest standard labor warranty in the industry. The parts warranty for the Trane system is the standard 10 years, which by the way Ideal Energy themselves register for their customers. The bottom line is if you want World Class installation and/or service for your existing unit or need a brand new unit such as a class leading Trane system, then no one is more skilled for the job then Ideal Energy and their very meticulous team, with the best thing being they are highly affordable and competitive when it comes to price, with one of the longest standard labor warranties in the industry as icing on top of the cake!! Of course if you go with a Excellent Trane unit it has it’s own 10 years Parts warranty!

I really cant say enough great things about Ideal Energy is genuinely an amazing company to work with! The quality of their work, their staff, the time that they spent to 'do the job right', the entire process was a genuine pleasure.. A little bit of a backstory, I currently have my aunt living with me, she is terminal with stage 4 cancer currently under hospice care, and is extremely sensitive to temperature. No matter what temperature that I set on the thermostate during the summer, my air conditioner just.. couldnt keep up, it would run nearly continuously only cooling down during the night, I was prepared to purchase a new AC unit, to spend whatever it took to help keep my aunt comfortable during her final stages of life. I was put in contact with the right people (Ideal Energy) who after conducting an energy audit, determined that I didnt have enough insulation in the attic, that my return duct was disconnected from the AC unit (essentially it was refidgerating 130 degree attic air no wonder my AC couldnt keep up with the demand), and that there were some airflow issues throughout home. I informed them that due to a change in my aunts condition, my aunt was at a hospice facility (to assist with getting her pain levels under control), and she was scheduled to come home the following day. Alex & Elena @ Ideal Energy went above and beyond and were able to squeeze in getting the the work done before my aunt got home. Since the audit, and duct repair & insulation, not only has my aunt been able to be comfortable, but based on the energy use patterns I am expecting to have a 35%+ savings per month for my HVAC needs. This is the first summer since we had all the ductwork replaced and added/fixed the insulation in the attic and the results are night & day. Last summer, whenever it was over 110 outside the A/C would be running 24/7 and could barely keep the house at 80 during the daytime.
