We had our entire A/C and heater system replaced, as well as a new thermostat installed. The guys at Anthony James were friendly and professional from start to finish. They gave us a very detailed quote, answered every question we had, showed up right when they said they would and kept the lines of communication open through every step of the process. There were no unexpected surprises or hidden costs. In fact, their quote was lower than any other company we'd checked with, but the lower price definitely didn't mean lower quality! They built a new slab to accommodate the new, bigger A/C compressor and cleaned everything up when they were done. They left the work areas better than they found them! We'd never had a smart thermostat before and they walked us through the set up process and made sure that we knew how to use it and that everything was working properly before they left. We are beyond thrilled with the experience we had with Anthony James and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

This company is the greatest. My next door neighbor had 2 estimates to replace his AC because they said it needed over $5000 to repair. I told him to call Anthony James knowing they would match or beat any real offer. Turns out he only needed his filters cleaned. The system is now working fine. Saved over $10000.00 replacement costs. I was not so lucky needed part replacement.. The cost is not as painful when you know you really need it and are not being scammed. 6 of my friends have replaced their HVAC with Anthony James and all are happy.

Recently had a small repair preformed by Anthony James Air Conditioning and Heating. Called early on a Monday morning and service was completed 2 hours later. I had two heat pumps installed by this company 12 years ago and they have not required any service until now. I did a great deal of research before selecting an installer of my heat pumps. I selected Anthony James because I watched him install a unit for a friend of mine and he did it by the book. How a unit is installed is just as important as the quality of the unit it's self. I highly recommend Anthony James.

Anthony James AC just completed a complete installation of new Heating & AC Units at our home. There was a design hurdle with the AC Units as the old units were placed too close to the exterior walls of our home. They came up with a great solution by changing to side discharge condensing units in lieu of the normal top discharge condensers. The day of installation, all four brothers: Anthony, Alex, Richie and Josh came to perform the work. These guys are all extremely personable, professional, neat & clean - a real team. We couldn't be happier with our new AC & Heating system. To say that I highly recommend Anthony James AC is an understatement. Use them with confidence.

I have been a customer of Anthony James for the past 2+ years, and remain profoundly impressed by their support, and follow up for routine maintenance that they remind me of via email, and totally great service, to keep all in top shape. As an example, Josh came out today and replaced a coil to keep the unit in perfect condition, and will be back in touch in 6 mos, for pre-Summer check up.Yes it is still under warranty, but the point is it was proactive, fixing something that might malfunction, before it could think about breaking down, and I fully expect and can count on their good care, long after my warranty is up. Accompany this with a friendly attitude, a core value of fairness in business approach, (no up sell, no pressure, just options good-better-best, excellent covid precautions, (I'm a Doctor) and a job well done, and you might get a picture of why... yet again they have a 5 Star rating. It is apparent from reading other reviews that it doesn't matter which of "The Brothers" is "Your Guy" Josh was ours so individually I would if I could give hime 10 Stars, & Anthony, Alex, & Richie 5 each for a total of 25 Stars. After doing a bit of "on line research" and re' which system to get? Do I need to get another bid? It finally just came down to discussions with Josh, and realization that I TRUST them to pick what is the best system, for our home, and even if anyone came in at a lower bid, I only wanted this Band of Brothers to be "My Guys" (great advice on a call in July when old company warrantee still in effect/but they would be available in case needed which was with urgent attn on Thanks Giving weekend, when heat went out. It was as if I was a longstanding customer in need and would get the same immediate attention honest assessment of all issues, one roof unit needed replacement the other functioning but same soon to be issues. I was referred by word of mouth last summer, when I asked a friend in another home service industry who said "yes I do... Anthony James" and I'll tell you why" with a story that they had responded to his mother in her mid 80s to her request for an assessment of her 14 yr old unit/still good just needed service, could last a few more years as it was a good brand. My friend said "what A/C company in this valley is not going to try to up-sell an 80+yr old lady a new unit" When he needed a new unit a few years later he was profoundly impressed with what was advised, done and working well, with lowered costs due to higher SEER variable system. When I spoke to Josh about some of the above, he basically summed it up, his father had always said that if you simply do for your customers what you would want for yourself, you'll never go wrong. So Anthony James Co are my air conditioning Doctors and I am very pleased to say thanks on this review.

Had two XR18 Trane units installed Oct last year. One of the units had a temp sensor fail this month, causing high temp in half the house. Alex came out next day to assess problem and then fixed it the following day. Prompt response, excellent communication and within two days all systems normal. He even had the initiative to obtain and install an A/C weather cover from the Trane dealership (another customer order cancelled) , which I have been waiting to be delivered by Trane for almost a year. Looks great too.

5 STARS! I hired Anthony James AC to install the new Bosch 19 seer Rooftop package unit. Self admittedly, I am a perfectionist. No worries as Anthony and his brothers did a perfect job and cut no corners. Their prices were very fair as well. I can't recommend them enough!

Was referred by my neighbor, I was able to get an appointment on the same day as theirs. Rich was friendly, polite, seemed to like his profession. Did a nice test and cleaning of our unit that is on our roof. Hooked his own hose up and washed our coils off. And while he was up there, rinsed off our solar panels! Pretty cool! We went with a one year contract, they had additional year offerings. I’m feeling confident in this company. My neighbor, who is very picky, has been using them for years.

What can I say, but Top Notch. I'm a perfectionist and I can easily tell when someone or some company really cares about the quality and level of service they provide. That's Anthony James Air. These guys are on point. From the time they said they were going to arrive to work they performed. These guys operate like a well-oiled machine. That's how I like to work and it's refreshing to be on the other end for a change and receiving that level of service. I was in need of a new air conditioning unit. I stumbled across their YouTube video when I was researching a Bosch package unit. I'm glad I called, I received a estimated quote for a new unit easily just by giving them my address and they gave me several units to choose from besides the ones I was interested in. I already knew I was either going to go with the Trane or Bosch. I was really interested in the new high efficiency Bosch package unit. These guys gave me all the information I needed to make my decision and be comfortable and reassured in the choice I made. If you're in the market for a package unit Bosch is the way to go hands down. I would highly recommend Anthony James Air Conditioning....

Anthony James came out and surveyed our home to remove the old interior propane furnace unit and exterior condenser. I knew this was not going to be your typical installation as they had to remove the old furnace, modify the furnace closet and break out the cinder block skirting to install a return plenum large enough to efficiently move the air through the house back to the unit. After the survey I received four detailed options of four different heat pump units they installed. We chose to go with the Bosch heat pump and we are very impressed with how efficient and quiet this unit is. After dealing with HVAC companies in the past who would sub out their installations only to come back and fix what their subcontractor installed, it was great having the installation completed by the owner operators with a job done right the first time with no additional visits. Throughout the installation they were all very professional and respectful in our home. If you need a new HVAC system Anthony James is the company to call, their installations are completed with 100% satisfaction, and their service plan is hard to beat.

Our A/C suddenly turned off in the middle of the afternoon. After some troubleshooting it looked like the breaker was overheating and tripping. Anthony James Air had installed the A/C so I called them just in case the problem was elsewhere or worse than I thought. They were out the next day and replaced the breaker, charging only a $40 service fee. The new breaker has been holding steady and the A/C is running like normal. Highly recommended to use Anthony James Air, the initial install was great and they came in to fix something that wasn't even their system's fault.

We used this company based upon a friend's recommendation. Alex came out, we discussed replacing my two 20 year old units, and adding an extra duct to each of two bedrooms that had always been warm. He gave me pricing on four different efficiency series to choose from. The equipment I chose was in stock, and they scheduled the install the next week. All four brothers showed up, on time as promised, and proceeded to work like a precision team. Their installations were immaculate, and they answered all my questions. Contacted Anthony James AC for spring maintenance/tune-up. They were able to make it out the same week. The communication from their office was excellent. I received both a text and email regarding the appointment. Alex was my service tech who showed up on time. He did a the thorough inspection and explanation of what was needed. I asked a lot of questions and he explained all to my satisfaction. He made suggestions on what repairs were needed but left the decision up to me. Over a week ago our A/C unit stopped working, so we started looking for HVAC companies in the area to come to the house and service our unit. Anthony James had the best reviews so we gave them a call. They answered my call on a Sunday, attempted to troubleshoot over the phone and ultimately determined it was best to come out to work on the unit. The gentleman who came out was relatively on time and kind, took his time to diagnose the problem, and provided a recommendation. We then provided him information relating to our unit’s warranty, which he shared could not be used for this service and quoted us at a repair cost 2x what another company quoted us. After we called the manufacturer, we learned the warranty was still valid and a different repair company confirmed it could be honored. Anthony James also charged a labor fee on top of a service fee for coming out to the house, which was not explained in advance (and doubled the cost without any resolution). For these reasons we chose to go with a different repair provider. I had no intent in providing this review, but after receiving several emails requesting one - I’m choosing to share.

Could not recommend Anthony James Ac & heating more. They were super responsive and extremely fairly priced. They re routed and replaced our old inefficient ducts inside the house and relocated the returns for maximum efficiency. Our new roof unit is larger, quieter and way more powerful. Alex was very patient explaining and showing us how to use our Trane AC/furnace. Recently moved from Michigan and have no knowledge of this machine. Alex helped us open it and clean out lint and explained how to clean and use this machine. We did not realize our warranty had to be transferred in 90 days. He helped us call and we were allowed to assume the warranty. Alex also showed us how to use the thermastat and helped us get on the Trane app. Very much appreciate his patience and knowledge. They have taught us how to adjust our system and when we have a question respond immediately and even drop by to help us as needed. Their annual checkups are so complete and careful. In early June, Alex promptly responded to our service call on a 110 degree day and confirmed that our 8-yr old compressor had froze requiring full replacement. By that afternoon, he provided a competitive bid and the team of brothers were able to install an 18-seer 5-ton Trane compressor and coil with variable speed 2 stage furnace by the following Wednesday which was a day earlier than originally anticipated. THANK YOU. The team arrived by 6:00a.m., worked efficiently, neatly and courteously completing the install within 4 hours. A relief that cannot be underestimated. A service contract is offered along with the install, so we feel confident that we will have many carefree years of heating and cooling. Very satisfied and highly recommend Anthony James.

Josh got here within 4 hours of my call. My AC was leaking water onto my hallway floor. Drain pipe was plugged so he had to put on his plumber hat and remove the PVC pipe and then clear it all the way to the outside. He obviously knew his stuff and got the job done. He wasn’t bothered that I followed him around to see what he was doing as I have a curious nature and my experience with AC is nil so I learned a lot from him. Very friendly and he cleaned up like he was never here! And at my request, he taped up a vent hole that was flapping around which was outside of the job scope. We recently moved to Peoria AZ not knowing any local HVAC repairmen. Our home inspection revealed a 22 year old system. The day we moved in it was 6pm and our A/C wasn’t working. The move was stressful enough so we decided for the quickest fix, a portable A/C unit to hold us over a day or two in one bedroom. We had several dogs in tow. Anthony James came reccomend by Trane as well as customer reviews so I had them quote me a replacement AC unit and gas furnace. Richie came out and thoughly inspected the old system and while still here he walked me through several options and reccomendations, including an additional return vent in the master that is almost always hot. I had read about Trane's flagship model and I wanted to know the price difference to go that route . He quickly added it to the quote and with the Trane and APS rebates it made the high end unit a doable option. They were out to install today. The crew arrived on time and made short work of removing the old unit. It is amazing how fast and how well they work together. The work they did was top notch and they even took care of my attic cover that was bad shape from well before they ever visited. Once done they walked me through all the work that was done as well as setting up the new thermostat. Great work, technical know how, reasonable pricing, and great customer service. You can't go wrong with Anthony James AC!

We called Anthony James Air after a bad experience with another company. Technician (Richie) was extremely thorough and very pleasant to deal with. We had a few issues we were addressing. We had a damaged mother board, and a bad thermostat. Technician also charged our freon a bit and checked to make sure the drip line was not clogged. No trash left inside or outside of the house. Took care of previous efficiency issues found during installation without adding to the price. these guys are great. I have been with them for 1 & 1/2 years now, and they have made my system perfect even though my ac units are over 12 years old. the secret is to keep everything up to date as far as capacitors and solenoids. then your system will never be overworked. Otherwise, go with the competitors..George Brazil or Parker & Sons will be happy to replace your system for $10,000 And that is what they will recommend. I really respect the honesty of Anthony and James. I just had them replace my thermostats with the Nest System. I know Nest says this is a "do it yourself" install. You could tell right away he was very knowledgable and honest, no pressure to buy anything unnecessary. We knew the unit would need to be replaced because of the age and a cracked coil. We were dreading the experience as we were concerned that our house would get very hot and we would need to find a hotel to spend the night in while the work was being completed. Work was performed early morning through early afternoon on two consecutive days. Although the outside temperatures were approaching 100-degrees, we were very comfortable while the work was being conducted. Each day, the Anthony James team left early enough for us to easily recover from the heat of the day, making the entire experience as comfortable as it could be during this time. A truly outstanding company and 100% satisfied. We just purchased this home 30 days ago and the previous owner had another company out to repair a nose the home inspector had found. The company did a poor job repairing the loose condenser fan motor and it came loose again and was making noise. If mistake not calling AJ ac. Anthony came pretty quickly after my request for bid. He is completely professional, personable and informative. They had 3-4 guys come out for installation and efficiently and effectively executed the installation. I feel like with the other bids they were up charging for overhead or something. This was the 4th summer in our KHovnanian home and like the past two summers our too small A/C failed. This time the compressor went out and the zones were bad. It wasn't worth repairing, because the compressor wasn't warrented to us and when we purchased the model home and former sales office we weren't given a warranty by the builder. The inside temperature was getting unbearable and Richie brought us two temporary A/C units and installed them for us, so we could stay in our home. Had called George Brazil out after hours on a Sunday. Mainly because their number was the first to pop up in a google search. Our ac wasn’t cooling. We had to wait a couple hours... no big deal. The guy shows up, literally takes one panel off to check for ice(the unit had been off 2-3 hours),then he checked the Freon , told me I was 17# low. The unit only holds 17#. At $69 a pound you can imagine what it would cost to fill. After checking the Freon tells me we have a leak in the inner cooler , gonna be $3900 or we could buy a new one for $9100 on payments. It being 105 degrees yesterday a new one sounded like a good idea. They were supposed to call this morning about what we decided to do. No call. But I’d already thought I needed a second opinion anyway. Messaged Anthony James Air Conditioning around 5am, they put us on the schedule today. The sent Richie out to assess the problem. Unit was 2# low on Freon , Richie checked a number of things , repaired some minor things also to make it more efficient. Bottom line, total bill, $170. Anthony James AC is who we’ll be using from now on. Fast , friendly, knowledgeable, and reasonable.

For openers, the light went out on my thermostat a few days ago. I thought it was hard wired and no clue it had batteries. I could not figure out how to open it to put batteries in, so called AJ, who installed the AC year and half ago. I thought it good time to get Spring check-up anyway. Richie of AJ came out and had the face off the T-stat and I gave him 2 new batteries and solved that. Then he went on the roof and checked out the AC and said the unit good to go for the season. Anthony's team of brothers installed a Trane XV 18 variable HVAC at my home. They cleaned up afterward. Installation quality was beyond expectations. System performance is a huge jump over our old Rheem one-stage A/C. The thermostat is a color 7-inch screen with an app for remote control. A year later Richard did a free house call to check system operation. Anthony is highly recommended. January, 2020 update -- AJACH uses an email service that will harangue you with endless emails asking for reviews, even after you file a good review. The emails falsely appear to come from the owner but they are from robots, stupid robots who bother you even after you file a review. This evil company is called "nice.co". Do not give AJACH your email address. It will be abused.

My AC wasn’t cooling my home. It was after 5p and I left a message asking for a service call the next day. Richie from Anthony James called shortly afterward and said he didn’t want me to wait that long so he came over to have a look. As I knew, my unit needed replacement but he was able to get the unit working , advising it was a temporary solution. He took time to answer all my questions and I accepted a proposal for a new unit. Unfortunately, Anthony James was booked out almost 2 weeks for installation. The only reason I had to go with another company was due to my anxiety that the current unit with the temporary fix might not hold out that long. I went with a company that could install in 3 days. I jammed myself up because I knew that I needed to replace my AC this year and foolishly procrastinated until mid June when demand for AC service is high rather than getting it done earlier in the year. Of the 3 quotes I got, Anthony James’s was very reasonable. While I wasn’t able to use them for install, I will likely call them for repairs and maintenance in the future because I trust them and find their pricing is fair and reasonable.
