Alex arrived on time and was very nice. They also called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He performed standard maintenance on our heater and then at the end of the service went over what he did. He also changed out our humidifier filter and cleaned the tray which was fine with us because the filter was starting to get that cake build up on it. We renewed our service contract for another year and will call in a month or 2 to schedule our AC service.

Antonio from MoreVent was phenomenal. He came over for a routine system maintenance. It turned out our outdoor unit was overrun with weeds. Antonio spent over 90 minutes cleaning the unit and even weeding the surrounding area. No charge. What's more, Antonio was extremely polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Although I scheduled for two heaters to be worked in, within the window offered 12-4 pm, a late arrival to my home and two doctors appointments schedule for 430 pm resulted in only one heater being serviced. I realize services and emergencies occur, however, I will now have to take additional time off work to get my second heater serviced. I will say that the technician was very understanding and did a great job getting the one heater completed.

He found our problem quickly and got our system back up and running within an hour of arriving after doing a complimentary seasonal service that had been missed the previous year. We originally contracted with MoreVent to purchase the new system based on the company reputation, quality of the equipment and warranty. We continued with their service program based on their thoroughness, flexibility to our schedule, and professionalism.

So glad I called MoreVent! They are extremely professional and reliable. I had a failing water heater and was talking to a plumber I have used several times about replacing it with a direct hot water system. After many no show appointments and unreturned phone calls, I reached out to MoreVent. I admit I thought they were just heating and AC, and was so pleased to see an extensive list of services they provide. Within three days of reaching out to them I have a new Direct Hot water system! My only regret in the whole thing is that I didn't call them sooner Everyone we dealt with from the sales team to the techs who put in the system were fabulous. Everyone came when they said they would be there, returned calls and messages when they said they would, which unfortunately in todays world isn't common. I think it speaks volumes about the culture of a company and how they treat their employees when everyone you deal with is knowledgeable and engaging. A++++ service all around!!

Each time they either were unable to find the problem or they thought they had to fixed the issue but a few days later we had the same problem. Today Bob came out and got right to work. He determined that the mother board to our furnace was not working. He got the part and replaced it and now we have heat again!

Called MoreVent based on other recommendations to fix a gas leak in our basement. Very responsive coming out same day on the holiday weekend so very thankful. Tech was very professional and courteous. Was able to fix the problem in time frame quoted. The only negative was I thought the price was a bit high for essentially 2 hours of labor and a service call charge. Typically many companies would waive the service call charge if agree to have the work performed. But overall I’m grateful otherwise for the quick response and resolution to my problem.

Our compressor went on the fritz, it’s almost 15 years old. An attempt was made to give it a jumpstart but no go! Jeff tried several times to find a way but the breaker kept tripping because the compressor was frozen. A rep came by later in the day to explain options! One of them would be replacing the compressor but the cost and having to wait 2 months isn’t an option! So I guess it’s time to replace and I trust MoreVent for the job! They came out promptly when I called because I explained my wife was disabled and has several medical conditions that restrict breathing etc so having good air is important! They were very respect of that, wore gloves and masks. Thank you for the excellent service!

First and foremost I was beyond please with the timeliness. I placed my first call to MoreVent on a Saturday, and by Monday the problem with our AC was diagnosed, we were given a quote, and a full install of a new system was completed. Chris explained all of my options thoroughly and clearly, and taught me a thing or two along the way. He didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need, and actually argued in this case that the cheaper/simpler option was best for the application in our house. Matt and Nicholas handled the install, and were thorough, quick, and courteous. They showed up promptly at 7:30, and completed the install by 2 before running over the basics of the new system with me. They left the house cleaner than they left, and they were just generally knowledgeable, courteous, good guys. The only thing I can't speak to is cost since I didn't get other quotes to compare. That said, the price I was quoted was within what I expected based on my own research. Even if it turns out I could have gotten a new install cheaper elsewhere, the quality, communication, and timeliness was well worth the investment.

Since the post, the team reached out to me, and worked promptly to complete the refund process. I believe they engaged a higher manager to deal with the ticket, who acknowledged the mistakes and mishandling on their part, and apologized. Since the issue was addressed and response from the team after the fact was good, I am updating it to a 3 star from my previous rating. All teams can make mistakes and issues can arise in any business, but how everything is managed after the fact says a lot as well and pretty important. I was happy to see that they take their client feedback seriously and worked to address the problem. --xx They came to my house to fix an HVAC issue, and they quoted an extremely high number for the service that needed to be provided. They pressured me to sign with them, stating, that I could cancel the service within 3 days for a full refund. I got a second opinion the next day, and realized their quote was grossly inflated. I called the same day to cancel service and ask for my refund on the phone. They confirmed they would process the refund. 2 weeks later, no response from the team. I have a high bill on my credit card, no service being provided or performed and no refund being issued.

First, Shawn showed up on time. This company's representatives always show up on time. What is also nice is that the customer receives an email in advance notifying the customer that the technician is on the way. Very respectful of the customer's time. Second, the technician is respectful of the customer's home and uses booties to avoid creating dirt. Although many companies do this now, I'm glad that Morevent is one of them. This is one of the reasons I'm a repeat customer. Third, though it took more time than scheduled and budgeted for, Shawn took the time to troubleshoot the problem and then traveled to acquire the necessary part to ensure that the problem was resolved in one service visit. First review 7/9/2021 My older system had reduced cool air but the interior fan, exterior fan, and compressor had been running consistently until Morevent showed up. Suddenly there were multiple failures and a seized compressor. When I began asking questions as to how/why this happened, the technician became aggressive, and I started to feel unsafe. I thought I was going to have to throw him out of my house. He was trying to demand I agree to full system replacement on the spot. I believe he did something to cause the compressor to seize. Even if I'm wrong, and multiple failures occurred suddenly and simultaneously when he arrived, there is no excuse for his demeanor and behavior. I politely asked him to put everything back together so I could think about my next steps. Instead he was very aggressive, claimed he would put it back together, and instead left in a huff and everything was still apart and the disconnect left out. Update 7/13/2021: After reading my review of the experience I had with MoreVent's technician on 7/9/2021, I received a message and a telephone call from MoreVent's owner Marco. He genuinely apologized and wanted to know exactly what happened. I told him the whole story start to finish beginning with the frustration of having no AC, the difficulty of dealing with my home warranty company, and finally where I had called another company to come after MoreVent left. I described in detail my experience with MoreVent's technician and my feelings about the encounter. Marco patiently listened the entire time and did not once interrupt, justify, disagree, or anything else. He merely listened patiently and took notes. When I finished telling my story, Marco apologized for my experience and expressed that what happened was definitely not in line with MoreVent's ideals. He assured me that he would deal directly with the technician that I had encountered. Further, he offered for MoreVent to come back out at no charge if I would consider it and assured me MoreVent could act as intermediary between me and my home warranty company (in line with home warranty company guidelines) if I was open to that. There was no pressure in his request--I felt as though he truly just want to help and make my experience better. The new technician came out today and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Zach was thorough, patient, and kind. He also explained everything to me in detail, answered any/all questions I had, and he contacted my home warranty company for me to advocate on my behalf. I appreciate the immediate response to my concerns as well as the sincere effort to remedy the situation and to help me.

We have been customers of MoreVent for several years now and have found them to be a very responsive and professional company. All of the service technicians treat us with respect and are quite knowledgeable. This past weekend our downstairs AC unit failed on a Sunday morning and they were there within two hours to diagnose the problem. Later that day a comfort specialist named Chris Thompson came by to assess our needs and discuss our options in a no-pressure way. This is the second time that we have dealt with Chris and it has been a pleasure each time. He scheduled for a new system to be installed the very next day and the crew arrived at 7:30am as promised. By mid-afternoon we had a new system, upgraded ductwork and the house was left clean and tidy. The technicians installing the system, Matt and Prentiss, were courteous throughout the installation and took the time to answer our questions and address our concerns, including the continued use of our existing Nest thermostat. This is the second new full system that has been installed by MoreVent in the past two years so we have had plenty of experience with their work. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our 7 yr old gas boiler decided it was going to stop working no less on a Sunday 1/31/21 and the we were just starting with a big snow storm. Go figure right a "Nor"easter" and my heater crapped out and I have health issues. But not to worry because we purchased our heater & have it serviced with MoreVent Heating. They have been top notch from pricing to service. We have never had any issues. I call Sunday as soon as I noticed that the house was getting cold & checked & found the heater was not working. Answering service took my information & let me tell you the lady I spoke to was very nice. Approx 5 minutes later MoreVent called and said they would have someone out Monday. With the snow storm and the way it was snowing it was reasonable and they assured me my house pipes would not freeze. At 7:45 am Monday morning MoreVent called and said someone would be out between 8 am & 12 pm. I believe it was 9 am the tech named Zach was here asked was was going on with the heater, asked to see the thermostats - we have 3 zones, than asked to see the boiler. He told me the price to diagnose & asked if that was okay and if I wanted him to proceed. Than he would look into what the problem is and let us know and what it would cost prior to fixing it. Zach was a very polite gentlemen, came in the snow and sleet, masked and put shoe covers on. He was very informative of the issues that were going on with our heater and got it running in a very short time. We couldn't be happier with MoreVent.

Our heat system failed over night. Woke up this morning and the house was only 52 degrees. Called MoreVent at 8am and they had a technician out to our house by 1pm. Joe was very professional and was able to identify the issue. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is because of the cost of the labor to install the new part. For a job that only takes a few mins it cost just over $200. Overall I am satisfied with our experience today. Glad to have heat again!

So while I didn’t end up using MoreVent, I will keep them in mind in the future and give them another try. ——————— Based on the amount of positive reviews of this business, I thought my AC regular maintenance service call would be in good hands. It’s just an annual check up after all. I called on a Thursday to schedule the routine maintenance. They put me in for the following Tuesday. Monday came, and they called to ask if it would be okay to reschedule since they are overwhelmed with service calls. And since my AC is still working, it isn’t a priority. I agree with that, so they rescheduled me for Wednesday. A couple of hours later they called again to reschedule my now Wednesday appointment. I was confused and related that info back. After some “investigation” on their part, they apologized and kept my Wednesday appointment for 2-4pm. Then they called back again and asked if they could move it up to noon-2pm. Sure, I said. Wednesday’s appointment time came and went. I called their office at 2pm asking what happened. CR responded technician is being delayed at their previous job. He would call me when he is on the way. No time estimate of when that would be. I guess my time isn’t valuable and my business isn’t appreciated. So yes I cancelled the appointment.

June 2021: Wyce showed up on time and was friendly and answered all of my questions. He performed scheduled maintenance on our 3 HVAC units. We had an issue with the placement of the condensation pipe location, because it shoots a stream of water each time it drains, and it happens to be located right by our rear entrance and Wyce let us know that someone would be in touch to schedule the repair soon. Once again, very pleased with MoreVent and will continue to highly recommended them. Keep up the great work guys! February 2021: We had a service tech performing preventive maintenance on our 20+ year old HVAC system, when he discovered an issue with the main motor & let us know that it was leaking carbon monoxide, & recommended a new system. It was very unexpected, but we realized that we had to replace it, so they send a sales person to discuss our options at 7PM on Thursday evening. Matt Good (Lead Tech) along with his team, Prentiss, & Nick arrived at 7:30 AM on Friday & had their work cut out for them, because of our tight space & "franken-system" set up that was performed by the previous owner of the house. Matt & team were very accommodating, with our requests to keep the system as compact as possible, to help us maximize the space in our mud room. It turned out so much nicer than the previous system, & was such an improvement. I was happy that they included a much higher quality filter & UV light that will make the air quality in our master bedroom much better than our previous system. Considering the times that we live in with super viruses & bacteria running ramped, we will be sleeping much better & assured that we have a new reliable system. Once again, (our 2nd install in 7 months) I would highly recommend MoreVent if you have HVAC needs. August 2020: I just wanted to take a minute and recommend MoreVent HVAC. Our HVAC died a few weeks ago and the company that serviced us went out of business, due to COVID & I was shopping around for a new company. After receiving quotes and being told that it will be a few weeks to get it installed, I decided to call MoreVent & was pleasantly surprised when I called them on Wednesday at 7:30 AM & got a call back at 7:45AM & had a salesperson at my home at 3PM that day. Will Killeen did some calibrations and recommend an HVAC & had a crew of techs at my home the next day at 9 AM & completed the job by 3PM. a few years ago we initially asked morevent to replace our heater with a replica and we were told it would happen but after our old heater was removed we were told they were unable to replicate our old hot water system and we had to install a hot water heater instead. we were unhappy because our original heater had the ability to give us unlimited hot water and we had to was replace it with a hot water tank of some sort but it is not unlimited like the original one they said they COULD replace until it was removed from our house therefore forcing us to buy a new hot water heater.

I had a very positive first experience with MoreVent. Over the weekend, my A/C unit stopped working. I did some basic troubleshooting myself before realizing it probably makes sense to call a professional. My parents use MoreVent and recommended their services to me. I decided to give them a call. Although the temperatures have been very high and MoreVent is responding to many breakdown calls, they were able to respond and schedule a technician to my house within 48 hours. My technician, James, was extremely friendly and helpful, explained everything in great detail and invited me to observe to repair process and ask questions along the way. I will say that given the proper knowledge and tools, I could have probably completed this repair myself for a fraction of the cost but of course that can be said for any service. It's really about the peace of mind that someone more experienced will likely do a better job and have all the right equipment/tools/experience to do it correctly. Of course you pay for this level of service and the prices, although fairly reasonable, are much higher than if you were to it yourself. While speaking to the technician, I learned about their 'club membership' and have decided to give it a shot. As with any type of 'insurance' program, I have still yet to determine if it will be worth it in the long run but considering the age of my equipment, I foresee them needing more maintenance and repairs over the next few years so hopefully this program will pay for itself.

We had a new Daikin 14 SEER unit installed. Installation went well. There were a couple of questions, but no issues until we tried to check the outdoor temperature. There was no reading. There had been with the old system. There was no outside sensor left in the system. They just cut the wire and capped and stowed it. They probably didn't even know what it was. But, an experienced tech would have known there was some sort of sensor there when they removed the old system. It didn't affect the operation of the new Daikin unit. It's quiet and runs well. The inside installation was done neatly, and the new sheet metal fits with existing system just fine. The outside installation, other than the missing temperature sensor was also done neatly. A new disconnect box was installed on our stucco and it was secured well and well caulked. The refrigerant lines were also installed neatly and well insulated. The only remaining question at this point is whether they replaced the condensate pump. We were quoted a new one and I'm not sure it is a new one. But, I'm not sure it isn't. I'll have to call and ask.

The sales representative, Will, was knowledgeable about what he could offer, as well as being personable. We had bids from 3 different companies, and while 2 of them offered the same Lennox model, Will offered us a different brand, which is actually higher rated than the Lennox brand. I will admit that the pricing was a little bit more than the other companies, but I think that it will pay for itself in the long term. Will was also very professional, and did not discuss other HVAC companies, which both of the other companies representatives did. We signed the papers on Wednesday evening, and Will had a crew that was available to come out on Thursday for the install. The crew arrived on time, and got started right away once I showed them where everything was located. The crew, Matt and his 2 helpers worked very neatly and aside from the noise of construction, I would not have known that they were working in my home. They cleaned up everything, and explained the thermostat as well as the various features of the unit to me after the job was done.

This weekend the outside cooling unit (compressor) failed and I called on Monday morning. They scheduled a time around noon and they called back an hour later that someone would be here within 15 minutes. Matt provides professional service for diagnose the issue, try to finding the leak, and add Freon to our AC unit. Matt also suggests multiple solutions to help us make the right decision. The only concern we have is the procedure of service. MoreVent set several “steps” with multi charges. To be precise, we have to pay $99 for diagnose, and additional $162 for de-ice service (which we were not expected). Further charges included leaking check and Freon input. We understand that each service has price tag on it. However, we do think it will be good to know the cost and fix the problems instead of lots of charges BEFORE any problems being discovered. Overall, Matt did a great job and we were very satisfied.

Jim did a great job! He was on time and very thorough. He explained how our AC / Heating unit works which is something past companies have not ever done. I would definitely use him and More Vent again!
