They both explained a complicated process to my wife and I in layman terms, to the point where we were comfortable and confident in them both. At first they only came over to assess an issue with my heating system but because of their expertise, they resolved 2 separate problems. We will definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

I had H&H installing a new gas heater to replace my oil heater a couple of weeks ago, and I am very happy with their service. From the beginning, Chris the salesman did an amazing job communicating in a professional and friendly manner. Big thanks to Brain too, and his team on the installation day, and for the service after that. I had a small issue with the heater about 10 days after the installation, and H&H once again, exceeded my expectations, their response was quick and effective. Brain and Richard came to my house the following day and fixed the problem free of charge. I highly recommend H&H.

Thomas was excellent and explained everything thoroughly and clearly. I had scheduled for a general HVAC tune-up three weeks prior but the heat stopped working two days before scheduled visit. I thought that it would end up costing a lot more but the fix was included in very reasonable introductory tune-up coupon price. I was not charged anything extra because nothing extra was needed. I was charged the price on the website and nothing more. Friendly and professional service. Will be recommending to others. Thank you!

Hi, when David first came to the house he was great! Was very honest, went through everything, wasn’t in a rush to sell me anything or leave quick. I had a a lot of questions as this was a big purchase for us. They worked in our budget and we couldn’t of asked for a better guy to come over. The crew came and were great! Chris was incredibly helpful and worked though what would be right for me. I appreciate the fact he helped me clean up a overflowing sink, certainly not in his job description. The technicians were outstanding. Explained everything that was happening while it was happening and I really appreciated the transparency. They were thoughtful about my living space and cleaned up everything very well. Edit - September 19, 2022. Pan came out to service my ductless system because I had called H&H to report that there was no cold air coming from the units. Pan was quick to diagnose the issue, provide a resolution and, told me what the next steps would be. Pan was also extremely helpful when he worked to install my HVAC system in another property in the Northeast. It was really nice to see him and I appreciate his hard work and due diligence. Edit October 5th, 2022 - James James was thorough when assessing the issue with my splits. He took his time investigating every avenue and the issue was caused by the units being in a operating in a duel mode. James is personable and knowledgeable Once again I can’t recommend H&H enough

Overall happy with the new systems (Carrier AC, Bryant Furnace). Installers were great. Hope to get a long life out of our new AC/Heating systems which replaced 22 year old Trane Units. A couple of minor bumps . Had issues connecting the Honeywell Wifi Thermostats to the home network. Note that the homeowner is responsible for connecting Wifi models to the network (at least I was). The Honeywell T6 models provided are older and ONLY compatible with 2.4 GHZ wifi networks. Most people will not run into this issue, but as folks upgrade or get setup on newer networks initially (like my Fios Gigabit runs on 5.0 Ghz by default), it may happen more often. The sales/office folks said they had never seen this before. I spent about 4 hours researching the issue and only found out how to correct it by diving into the depths of the Verizon Fios customer support forums. The average homeowner will have no idea how to resolve the issue (which involves logging into the router and setting up a dedicated 2.4 Ghz "Guest" network on the system). The brand new AC unit actually failed on day 2. The service technician resolved the issue but said the wiring on the unit from factory was loose which caused the circuit to trip and system to fail. Not the fault of the installers, and the issue was corrected immediately, but might be something that can be checked during install "just in case". The unit ran fine the first day. I would still recommend H&H. Sometimes we all experience bumps in the road. Follow up 9/20: These guys have great customer service. Every follow up they took the time to thoroughly deal with and even received a call from the owner. These days I expect the "run around" when dealing with companies on follow ups, but they are outstanding.

This is our fourth installation by H&H -- two in prior rental homes and recently in our 1885 house. They just installed a new 3rd floor system in an ongoing renovation, after they installed a new HVAC system for the first two floors last year. Everyone from Steve who came out more than once to size up our needs, to Dan the lead installer, to Nick Valenti the lead tech on the latest job, were outstanding at what they do. We can't say enough about H&H's overall professionalism, knowledgeable technicians and service value. We highly recommend them :-)

This is my recent review, and I am writing about Thomas W.’s season tuneup on 12/23/2021. He called on time, came on time, observed all Covid protection measures. He did a very thorough job and was professional, friendly, and courteous at all times. This is a review of the tune-up service rendered on 12/8/2022 by the technician Jim Johnston from H&H Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. While all technicians from this company are very competent, Jim really stood out as the most efficient, polite, and caring person. I recommend both the company and Jim most highly and without any reservations.

The technician was great: personable. Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to do anything because he wasn’t equipped to service an oil boiler, and didn’t know that’s what I had. It should be standard practice for them to ask the client if they have oil or gas when scheduling. I gave all the info to Home Depot… I recommend you try to remember to mention that when you talk to them. The challenge now is for me to find another day off; today was perfect because it’s a holiday. I wish I couldn’t give a rating because they might be excellent at servicing boilers, so, this is only based on having the wrong technician come out: gas when needing oil.

Wonderful Customer Service Sales And Installation. Starting at the front line is MJ ( Exceptional Scheduler C/S and Problem solver ) She got the ball rolling by Scheduling Chris Gays (Comfort Care Dept.) to come and evaluate what type of system I could put in. Chris came to our home with shoe booties over his shoes and for my safety a mask on his face . He meticulously looked over everything including of course our heater and from his assessment told me what type of system I could go with ( Tonnage and Seer). Chris is a remarkable personable young man who is very knowledgeable of A/C Systems and the way they work. I threw a lot of questions at him and he calmly and clearly explained everything to me. The sticking point was I wanted an A/C unit that they didn't sell. No Problem , he had Owner of H&H Heating and Air Conditioning Mike Hoake call me. You could not ask for a nicer gentleman. Mike spoke to me like an old friend . Mike really cares about the people who speak with him. Not only did Mike Hoake accommodate me with the Different Brand A/C Unit that I wanted installed that he does not sell , but he included a 10 Year Parts Warranty and a 3 year labor warranty. Installation day . I apologize, I forgot the name of the 2 gentleman who showed up right on time. The kindly explained what they would do and went through the process of installing the A/C Unit. Once again 2 very Intelligent and nice gentleman who even put in a water evaporator pump so the condensation water would pump right intro my sink . They did a fantastic job of running the tubing so it would not be seen. The one drawback was when they finished up they noticed that the Factory A/C had a broken Valve . They called Mike Hoake who told me He would have Service Repair out 1st thing and would Imminently Order A Whole New Unit instead of just repairing the broken valve. . Exceptional Customer Service ! Jim the Service repairman came out got the Factory Unit running . Very intelligent and nice gentleman. I would say more but he was not here that long he double checked the temperature of the different returns. He went over everything with mean told me the New unit would be here in a week and asked me if there was any other concerns I had. Very refined. Today 8/6/21 The install Technicians Brian and Matt came out right on schedule and immediately got to work .Clean Work uniforms with booties and masks when needed . Very smart and engaging young men . John The service manager came a while later to go over everything with me to make sure that I was totally satisfied with the work and asked if there was anything else that could be done. Simply Amazing the thoroughness these individuals all had for me the customer. And the biggest complement and commonality I picked up on was that they received this education from the owner Mike Hoak. The installation techs arrived promptly the first day and finished up early the second day. Installation seemed to go smoothly. They cleaned up the areas and explained the features of the units before leaving. Both units seem to be operating well, and our entire downstairs is cool. The office contacted us to schedule an inspection, and when the service tech came out, we thought he was going to inspect the system. Instead, he mainly came to answer questions and clarified some information in the manual, but there were a couple things he wasn't sure about. He checked the operation of the indoor and outdoor units, but he didn't inspect any wiring or connections down the basement, which we found puzzling. Also, we had a question about the AHRI number, for which we are still waiting for a call from the office. Overall, though, we are happy with the cooling of the system.

In December 2018 we had our Heater replaced in our Condo and H & H did a very good. They were on time, did quality work and were all very professional. During a recent contracted service call we had with them we found out that it was time to replace the air conditioning section of the HVAC unit. Our unit was starting to rust out and used the old 22-R Freon which is not eco-friendly. The unit was installed on June 4th within a week after we agreed on the reasonable proposal. The service was completed on the date and time that was scheduled by 2 techs, Nick and Steven, who were very friendly courteous and professional. They laid out floor coverings to protect our floors and wore face masks and gloves. Nick explained all that they were doing and told us about the operation of our new split-system. We are very happy with the result and would definitely recommend them.

2021 11/2 Water leak alarm at 2:30pm. Called and by 4:30pm it was fixed. Rep was great. Cannot say enough great things about the team. 2021 6/24 Summer check up. Jim is great as always. Great to use a family owned buisness and to have the same technician (Jim). Very impressed with their service and their entire team. Cannot reccomend them more highly than we do on local FB pages - 2020 7/31- I replaced Condensation pump and when system restarted it was working. Middle of the night it was off completely. Did several steps to restart etc and system wasn't working. Called after hours and got a call back right away from Mary. Explained what issue was, and said we had a regular AC check coming up on Tues. Asked if there was an outside chance to get it looked at sooner, given the current heat wave. Mary said- no AC?- we'll get you in! Jim was there within the hour, and has been to our house before. Walked me through everything and said everything was working fine and system might have been slow to react, given the heat wave. Told me my set up on the pump was done correctly ( I feared I caused an issued) Answered a ton of questions, adjusted our thermostat and did our AC check up at the same time. I can see why Jim has so many high marks. Jim , Mary and the after hours operator were AWESOME. __________________________________________ Previous reviews over our multi year relationship with the team. Called Friday evening with thermostat issue. Tech walked me through to get AC on ( hot night). Thermostat started acting up on Sunday- same tech came over ASAP and got us running. Under warranty ( repaired) and showed me a few different features. Steve was great! Thanks. Had follow up issue. Called on Friday 11/10. 4:33pm. Tech at the house with 30 minutes. Consultation ONLY: Sales representative, called to verity and arrived on time. Unfortunately, we were looking to purchase and install an expandable 2 zone functional outside unit, but install 1 residential cooling unit at this time. We were advised this could not be done and the operating units, 2 forms available, can only be installed as either 1 zones or 2 zone units and if a future zone was wanted later I could install a second 1 zone unit t sit with the other installed unit, which logistically was undesirable and we chose to investigate this further to verify and minimize missteps.

H and H was the second hvac company I had investigate my air conditioning after it wouldn’t produce cool air. The initial company informed me I needed to replace a leaking valve on my condenser and further represented that it would be an additional 8k to 10k to replace my outdoor condensing unit if, once the valve was fixed, the compressor was found to be shot as well. After researching the price of condenser units I found that the 8-10k price was wildly inaccurate, and I ditched the first contractor. Even though that contractor was attempting to fix the valve before considering whether I needed a whole new condenser, the price quoted for that condenser was so inaccurate that I questioned whether the first contractor knew what they were doing and/or whether they were setting me up to be ripped off. After canceling the service with the first contractor, I called H and H upon a recommendation of my real estate agent. The service from H and H and it’s technician, Pan, was exceptional and refreshing after my bad experience with the first company. Pan was prompt, explained everything well, and did a great job diagnosing that the issue was merely an unseated valve, not a blown valve that needed replacement. He reseated the valve properly, filled the system with coolant, and confirmed that the remainder of the system (including the compressor) was working. In all, H and H and Pan saved me approximately $500 off what the first contractor wanted to charge me to replace the leaking valve that did not need to be replaced in the first place. Great experience, highly recommended.

Our AC unit went out just before the weather report was calling for temps in the 90's. While it wouldn't bother me, we have 3 Newfoundland dogs that would have been in danger in temps that high. James from H&H is like the MacGyver of heating and AC. The problem with our heater was not typical, but he listened carefully to my description of the issue and asked questions. The problem was diagnosed quickly and the solution was better than the original condensate piping design. I would definitely ask James to come out for any future issues or improvements.

TO: Harry Ritz – Engineer and Our Sales Person I wanted to take the time to thank you for our complicated installation of a steam heat system at our multi-unit property. Our current steam system had run its course and needed to be replaced. Many people came out, looked at the unit, gave us a price based on the current unit and went on their way. The Sales Pros, and yes they are Professionals, took the time to measure the square footage of the apartments, count the radiator fins, and accurately determine what size unit I needed. HH was not the cheapest option, and also not the most expensive. They were however, the most detailed, with the best warranty overall. They explained the process and made me feel comfortable overall and thus I choose them to install our unit. I am very picky when partnering with a vendor, and HH did a fantastic job. They took out the old unit, put in the new unit, and had to do some modifications as the old unit had some pipes that were not installed correctly 20 years ago. They did the work exceptionally well. Harry, the engineer came back many times and called me to ensure all was working correctly (Steam is a complicated system so if they can do steam, they can do anything heat and AC related). Joe who was another team member also did a fantastic job and was truly dedicated to getting things done correctly, no matter how long it took. Without a doubt, H & H Heating and Air Conditioning Inc, is the choice for all my heat and AC needs. They are professional, prompt, clean and do the job right. Jerry came on time installed a new capacitor. Cold air was still not coming out of the vents. Jerry came back in and tested the electricity and explained that PECO was having a smart saver event and I would not get full electricity to my compressor until the event was over. He was right PECO verified the event was from 2-6 and I would receive electricity for my compressor for 15 minutes and no power for 15 minutes. Since the capacitor was not working it will take awhile for the house to feel cool. Very pleasant and informative about HVAC.
