I had a buzzing noise when the furnace blower was running that was driving me crazy. I called and Kim the dispatcher sent a technician (Ryan) out in about an hour. Not saying you’ll always get it that fast, but that was exceptional. I should note I’ve had my system almost 10 years, which Skradski installed, and I get it serviced every spring and fall anyway, and the techs are always awesome, capable and professional. The women I have dealt with over the phone dispatching the service have been equally awesome - always friendly, respectful, competent and professional. I’ve never had to wait long for service. Anyway, Ryan found the source of the buzz and another rattle, and fixed both in about a half an hour. He did a fantastic job and super nice guy. Now it sounds like a new furnace. Thanks again Skradski for excellent service every time. I highly recommend this company for service, a new installation, or both.

About five years ago I was having a health issue and it was about 14° outside and the blower motor in our 30 year old furnace was going out the bearings were starting to seize up, Skradski heating and cooling showed up almost right away and did a very reasonable correct repair and did not take advantage of the situation. They were fair professional and prompt. Two years ago my wife and I decided that we need to replace our entire heating and air-conditioning system Scradski sent a couple of their guys and they knocked it out and did an amazing installation in less than a day. This company exemplifies professionalism and integrity. Highly recommended. EDIT: after having our furnace for a couple of years Skradski got in touch with us to inform us that they expected us to sign up for a seasonal inspection at over $200 a year! I asked them what they were going to do for that and they said they were going to inspect our system and refill it if necessary! Shouldn't have been perfect to begin with for $8000 and not leaking? I feel kind of bamboozled by them. We are not dumb old people that don't know any better and that's how we were treated. I am changing my rating on them from five stars to three for that alone. I think it's a shady business practice.

Jamison found the problem with my inside blower Motor that kept my AC from working. It was the expected problem given google, about the expected price. What was nice is that even though it's a 15 year old high efficiency furnace, it's nice and clean and strong, and even with its age, he didn't even think about pushing a more expensive replacement furnace and AC. And the company even had access to a replacement part, that I was kind of concerned about given the age of the fan blower module. Poor guy had to run out and get it, then the replacement was missing some bolts, so he ran back and got those too, making it later than I'm sure he expected. And he didn't complain... to me at least!

This place truly impressed me, I highly recommend Skradski's over others I have dealt with as they went far beyond what others were willing to do, and they expected nothing extra in return. I was highly skeptical at first as my apartment complex recommended them as the only outside contractor I could use (claiming they are the only approved vendor because only they have insurance lol). So I expected the worst going in, and the employee's at Skradski's went over and beyond to help me handle the situation from an unbiased party. They scheduled a technician to come out in under 24 hours, and the technician was able to show up earlier than expected which was a huge help for me. All staff were professional, courteous, and patient and each did a great deal more than expected to help me. All at price that beat other companies by a great deal. Incredibly happy with my experience here, and I appreciate the help I received from Mike, and Bill to get my unit's Heat Pump back in working order. Very Impressed.

Goodman recall work. Our furnace fell under the goodman drain pan recall. In Jan 2022, we were contacted about a recall for a drain pan recall, and had been waiting 10 months for goodman to schedule repairs. January!!! Its the middle of Oct now, still no luck and the goodman recall people said to contact a local service contractor to get warranty work done instead, with goodman picking up the tab. Skradski's was out within a couple days of contact, installing repair items quickly giving us closure and peace about the situation. LONG OVERDUE but GREATLY APPRECAITED. Highly recommend this company!

I don't write many reviews but the folks at Skradski deserve some recognition. These guys are great and offer prompt, professional, friendly service. They are very competitive with their prices and service rates and have never pressured me into making a decision. I've used them for a few years now, but most recently they installed a new AC unit after mine went out. They prioritized the installation because they obviously understand how it is in situations like that. Three hours after they showed up, my house was at 72F. If I ever get asked..."Do you know a good HVAC company?"...no hesitation..."Skradski!"

We had Mike stop out as the service technician and he was very patient, knowledgeable and explained in detail what the process would be, our options and how he would do it if in our shoes. Our heating system is older so it was recommended to replace it, along with the AC unit since the part was discontinued. We spoke with a secondary department that came out the same day to discuss options and what would be best for our needs. Turns out our AC unit was a 3 ton and we only needed a 2 ton which explains our issues and the line freezing. Scott was very knowledgeable with his partner that he was training. Highly recommend this honest and direct company.

When I contacted the company, as a first time client, to do a yearly service on my furnace in preparation for the winter season, they were able to get me scheduled two days later. They set me up on a yearly contract that would save me money and they will contact me in the Spring to set up a time when it will work to check my air conditioning. The technician arrived on time and did a thorough check of my furnace. He was friendly, but didn’t waste any time getting to work and getting things done. I had a technician come in February because my furnace was making noises upon startup. He said I needed a new heating module. Funds were low so I couldn’t get it fixed then and since it was still working okay he advised that it was something that needed to be replaced before next winter. So I just had them out to install the new module. 😊 Customer service is great and their technicians are very knowledgeable. I appreciated the honesty from the tech who came in February. We had Skradski Heating & Cooling come out same day I called and had the best experience with our technician, Mike R. He was on time, friendly and professional! He took the time to explain everything that he found and even recommended that since our A/C unit was only 2 years old that we call the company that installed it because often they have labor warranties along with parts warranties. We would have never thought to do this and in the end Mike saved us $900!!! He even put a compressor on hold for us if the other company did not take care of our issue. We recently switched to Skradski for hvac maintenance. First furnace inspection completed today. Josh was prompt to the appointment, courteous, and spent a full hour going over unit. The previous companies we used were in and out in a half hour or less and always seemed to be in a rush. Josh also took the time to show me how to take apart the humidifier and change the filter on my own when requested without making me feel like it was an inconvenience or like I should have known how as others had in the past. Thrilled we finally decided to switch companies!

The estimator and installers did a great job installing an AC system. The estimator worked with us to get us the best deal possible. Had 4 estimates and they were almost $1000 less than the next lowest estimate. I received a 10 year warranty on parts and 5 year warranty on labor. The installers were fast, efficient and cleaned up well after the installation. There was one area on the AC system that was not sealed and they sent a technician out immediately once I notified them.

My unit froze up on Monday.After assessing the problem correctly yesterday, they came back today, replacing a connector on my older A/C unit and added freon. This is remarkable turn around given its super busy abd the heat wave is causing chaos with all the systems. In under an hour today, I have a working system cooling the house again. Quality work. Best prices in town for your heating unit too. Still a satisfied customer from that replacement in 2018. From the initial service call, Ron Miller, was fantastic and thoroughly explained how his company would install central air conditioning in my Mom’s home. I shared Skradski’s proposal with my own AC guy in Texas, as well as another Omaha AC companies proposal and my Texas AC guy said to definitely go with Skradski. The two masterful AC technicians, Jeremy & Tony were professional, kind, considerate and extremely knowledgeable. Mom & I are so pleased with the install and service from start to finish!!! The new AC unit is a Rheem and since installed it is cooling her home beautifully! No loud noise anymore from Mom’s window unit, so her TV doesn’t have to be on full blast from now on! Just Wow! We recently came back from being out of town for 7 days to find our furnace not working in the midst of record cold temps. Our house was 52 degrees. I've been planning (and saving) for some time to have my AC and heating replaced, as both were almost 20 years old when I bought my new house. I did research and talked to my dad's friend an AC repairman in Florida, who strongly suggested an offbrand such ad Goodman which is made in the same factory as the name brand. When I had Ron out to the house and explained why I wanted a Goodman, not a Rheem, he was very polite about it and did *not* try to hard-sell me the more expensive unit. I took the quote and saved it. Events prevented me from having the HVAC change made for almost two years, but when I re-contacted them, they still had all the notes and were able to update the quote quickly. Scheduling was relatively swift. The installers (Dana and assistants) were on time, courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. Paying upfront (not by credit) also lessened the cost, and they did NOT try to replace my thermostat "just because" with a new one of lower quality (although I wouldn't have known any better), which further lowered my final cost. In short, and assuming nothing blows up in the future (ha), they strike me as an honest company, not attempting to overcharge or push more expensive units (or unneeded upgrades) just to make a few more bucks. This is how a business keeps a customer.

Upon deciding to put central air into our 100 year old home we undertook the arduous task of interviewing and obtaining quotes from five of the best known HVAC companies in Omaha. This process seemed endless and fruitless as no one was interested in my requests to maintain the integrity and natural beauty of our home. They went to extreme measures to match the exterior feed from the unit to our copper gutters. Skradski's Heating and Cooling is exceptional in the service they provide and in the people they hire to represent them. The quote for the entire project was equivalent to other quotes we had been given, but Skradski's actually cared about our concerns. We give Skradski's a SUPERIOR rating.
