Calloway had done some repair work for us so I remembered them. In April I discussed with Ryan the idea of paying half down on a whole Daikon replacement and sidestep a price rise that was coming in May. Do this If you have it in mind for your house. it is well worth asking about. They know when the price hikes are coming. We replaced our 22 year old HVAC system from stem to stern in October. They came on time and completed the work in 2 days. We've operated it for a few days now, all well. My only observation is that crews need to police the grounds of work areas when they finish. It is a small thing that everyone notices in a walk around.

We had an AC drain pan in the attic that was filling with condensate and overflowing. It wasn't an emergency, but I wanted it fixed before it became one. A technician came the next morning, well before the scheduled time and fixed the issue within an hour. He recommended we have the outside unit cleaned and he was 100% correct. Within minutes of the cleaning, the hottest room in our house was colder than ever. All prices were quoted up front and there were no surprises.

After arriving home at 4pm and finding out that our AC was not functioning properly and our house had reached 85 degrees, we called around for after hours service. Calloway & Sons had the best after-hours rate as well as the best availability. I was given a base price over the phone, immediately scheduled, and was told someone would arrive between 5pm and 8pm. Around 6:30, I received a call and a text message stating that Worldlin would would be arriving soon. He was super friendly, very informative, and was able to quickly address the problem and repair it right away. The price of the repair was about average, based on a few Google searches. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes and the temperature in my house quickly went back down. He even pointed out a few things that may be an issue in the future, but weren’t a necessary expense right now, so it was nice to know that he was trying to educate me and not make extra money by convincing me to fix things I didn’t need to yet. Overall, the issue was discovered, an appointment was scheduled, and the issue was resolved in less than 3 hours total and that’s after hours. I would absolutely recommend them to other people and plan on contacting them again for any issues in the future!

When they came out in July 2021 they fixed the problem for $500 which was a float switch well I came home from vacation and have water damage on my wall because the flood switch didn't work. So I call them and they say anything could have caused this so they want me to pay them $150 to come out even tho it was their mess up

First, let me say that when my A/C went out over a weekend(in the middle of the summer), Calloway was able to get someone out the faster than any other company, and we called MANY. Sampson was our tech and was everything I would want in a technician. Detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and (most importantly) trustworthy. Jacolby Nicholas came out with another employee to install an air handler and found another issue but the other person felt that wasn’t his issue but Jacolby took an extra 10 minutes to see what the issue could have been. UPDATE 3: The HVAC system they installed in May 2019 had been performing well so far. But when it suddenly cut off a couple of months ago (turned out to be just a tripped float valve) I ended up calling another company to service it. That's because when I called Calloway earlier this spring for a routine maintenance call their first response was to sell me on a199.00 membership renewal when I hadn't even used the initial membership bought at time of install. I'd skipped the free service call s during the first year of Covid, and cancelled a scheduled visit in '21 due to Ida. I figured I'd do it the following spring, seeing as how they said the still owed me a visit (the membership entitles you to two). But now I was being told I had to buy a new membership or pay 149.00 for the service call. Instead, I opted for someone who offered a better price. Loyalty is earned.

Great God rising to everyone reading this! From heat to COLD 🙌🏾 AC and Heat issues always tend to strike at the worst time! The message I went into this week was “A mother is greater than anything coming against her”! The same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead also lives in me. So Tuesday when the AC started tripping My response was My God is greater I’m greater! I reached out Calloway & Sons and they came out and diagnosed the issue. Now I might say the first diagnosis ended up not being the end! Basically it was not three parts just two.! Yes My God dropped the price too.! After experiencing problems with my unit and Ryan came out and fixed it in less than 30 minutes I decided to sign up for Calloway and Sons Preventive Maintenance Plan. Once again they didn't disappoint. Christopher came out this morning to service my unit. About 30mins into the service I had to go outside because I started to feel the difference. Ryan is a rockstar! I had an issue with my mini split unit and they got someone out to me in a few days (I told them it wasn’t urgent). Ryan showed up in the rain and probably risked death to try and help fix the problem, when he could have easily bailed. Ryan Reed came out to fix the AC and replace a part on the heater on Friday. He was polite and professional. One problem is the heater started kicking off for no reason. Had it set last night to 67°. Woke up this morning and the temp in the house was 58°. Had to turn the unit off for a while before it would kick back on. It happened again this evening.

I contacted the company on behalf of my Grandmother, who's AC went out in her home. I spoke with Phillip and we discussed the issues, he then assigned a technician to come over the next day. The technician was able to accommodate my work schedule for our appointment. I went through the issues with Ryan the technician and after he troubleshooted a couple of problems, he then layed out clearly what my options were. Me and my grandmother came to a decision to get a new unit rather than repairing a 13 year old unit. Ryan and his crew came the next day with the new unit, they were successful in getting the unit on the roof (which was no easy task) and installing it, then checking to ensure everything was up and running within the house. My grandmother and I were more than satisfied with the customer service and the expediency in which they were able to get the job done. We have signed up for the annual service plan and would recommend the company to whomever is in need of AC services. Thank you.

I scheduled an appointment with them to have maintenance done on my unit and to have my ducts cleaned they sent me a reminder the day before and the day of and when the tech Josh was on his way to my house he also sent me a reminder which I am thankful for because I had forgotten, and they did such an excellent job. Phillip Calloway and his trainer really did a good job cleaning my air ducts with that big o duct cleaning machine but it got the job done and I'm thankful. Josh did such a great job fine tuning and cleaning and checking my unit and compressor, Phillip Calloway and Josh really take their time and do their job the right way I truly appreciate the job they did and the prices are so reasonable, I give them both thumbs up 100 % Phillip & Josh. I had a great experience. The outside a/c unit stopped working on a Wednesday evening in late June, and by 8:15 the next morning I had an afternoon appointment scheduled. The tech, Ryan, showed up to the appointment an hour-and-a-half early and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within thirty minutes (which is especially remarkable given that the unit was elevated and located on the second story of the house). Having an a/c unit stop working can be frustrating and uncomfortable; Calloway & Sons provided a quick, well-informed, and effective solution that minimized the headache. We closed on our house and noticed the AC wasn't cooling 100%, which was super frustrating. We contacted a different company and the specialist told us we needed to replace the unit along with the interior ducts. No other options were given. I was let down by another AC company, and called Calloway and Sons at 2:00 this afternoon. Not only did they agree to fix my ac today, the technician was at my house within an hour!! The receptionist was kind, caring and listened to what I needed. She was spot on with returning calls and again, just so nice and professional. I wish I remembered her name, but she should get great praise for her work today. The technician that showed up was polite, kind and efficient. He didn’t have the ladder needed for my ac...it’s on top of my porch...he could have said ‘sorry, see ya tomorrow ‘ but he didn’t. He went and bought the needed ladder and was back within 30 mins. He fixed the problem quickly and got that cool air rolling! He was very professional, and overall just a very nice, kind person. He deserves major praise as well. He made a point in telling me that the company was there to help people. He had the option of going home and being done after a very hot day. This guy chose to keep working and help those, like me, who needed help on such a hot day. People like that are hard to come by, and I am so thankful I chose this company to help me. My usual AC guy was booked up so I searched for a new service. I left a message online requesting an appointment for an estimate to diagnose a leak. 2 days later I called the company because I had not received any response. They were prompt with getting a tech out same day. The tech's free estimate consisted of he "didn't know why it was leaking". He stated that the leak could be in another location so he asked if I wanted him to look there. I thought this was an odd question but looking back on it he was implying that this was the end of the free time and he was now going to have to charge me. He called me a short time afterwards and told me I owed him $230. After a back and forth for a few minutes he explained that he replaced a pipe in the attic. He should have led the conversation with "I found your problem, fixed it, here is your bill". He told me he would come back the next day to re insulate a separate pipe since he did not have the materials today. I confirmed with hm that he would be the tech that came out the next day. Sure enough, the next day a different tech called me to tell me he was on his way over. I cancelled the appointment. I was fed up with the dealing with this company. Bill is paid. I will not use them again.

I had ducts under the house replaced and I had ducts in the attic cleaned. In the end I am happy with the ductwork that was installed. I think they did a good job. They were much cheaper than the other 2 quotes I received. However, it took twice as long as they told me it would and they had to reschedule the appointment because they didn't have enough materials. The workers thought they were done when I pointed out to them that 2 ducts were not connected to their boots at all and that they didn't hang an entire duct line. I was told the duct cleaning was a self-contained system that would not get the house dirty when this was clearly not the case. Despite the use of a drop cloth, they still managed to get debris from inside the duct on my bed, floors, etc. I will only use them again if their quote is again much cheaper than their competitors.

My 1st contact with Calloway and Sons was for an emergency repair at 11pm at night. They answered the phone and sent out a tech (Dominic L) immediately, but due to the odd issue by the time the tech got there the A/C was working again. Dominic checked everything he could but since it was working there was not much he could do. By the next morning the A/C again was out. Calloway and Sons sent out Ryan R, a specialist, by lunch time. This time the A/C was not working and Ryan was able to trace down the exact component in the compressor that was causing the sporadic on/off. Ryan was very knowledgeable, explaining every step along the way and even going above and beyond to fix a few install issues. I 100% recommend using this company for all repairs and maintenance.

Have had Calloway & Sons do scheduled maintainance checks on my heat and a/c system three times and they're always polite and friendly. Although scheduling isn't completely painless, the office and service techs make an impressive effort. They provide a 2-3 hour window when the appointment is made, send multiple text reminders, and call when they're on their way. Personally, it does feel like a small hassle to sit outside for half an hour so my dogs don't harrass the workers, but nothing like the trauma of losing heat or a/c when it's really needed. I've had zero issues with my system in the year and a half I've lived in my apartment.

I had an A/C system that wasn’t cooling, the compressor wasn’t running. Dominic from Calloway came out on a Saturday and diagnosed the problem as a burned out compressor. He gave me an estimate and advised they would need to call in the parts warehouse, as they had already closed at noon (the warehouse charges $250 to reopen, but Calloway has a more reasonable $149 weekend charge (versus their regular $70). I agreed to the extra charge and they worked until 7pm to finish the job and get the A/C back up and running. I am very pleased with the results from the installation of the outside AC unit that Calloway and Son installed at my sister's home, They surveyed her old unit and determined that the compressor was going out. My sister's AC unit kept freezing up and loosing Freon. Two other AC servicemen had check her unit for leaks and none were detected. They refilled her unit with Freon. The first time it last 9 months, The second time it last only 1 month before freezing up. When Mr. Calloway came out and checked her unit, he notice that when he started adding Freon to the unit the amps on the compressor started increasing after adding only 4 pounds of Freon. After seeing this he told up that the compressor was going out. We ordered the new unit on Friday and on Saturday the old unit froze up again. Talked with Mr. Caloway on Monday and that even he installed the new unit. After the installation of the new outside unit, Mr. Calloway performed (2) leak test on both sides of the system and determined that there were no leaks, Mr Calloway also determined that the return line ducking in the attic was too small. He installed a new 16" line to replace the 14" line that was in place when the unit was first installed. The AC unit is now working perfectly. Mr. Calloway told us that the AC unit should not give us anymore problems, but if it does, we have his number to call him. I would recommend Calloway and Son to anyone who is having trouble with their AC unit.
