The main reason I like this company is they take you step by step on their work and are very honest. I know each time I am receiving quality work and that the price matches the work. No surprises. Extremely professional and punctual. Always get a call back in minutes if I leave a message but usually the phone is quickly picked up by a friendly voice . Pleased with annual heating system check. Technician arrived slightly ahead of scheduled time. He was knowledgeable, professional and polite. He checked over the systems and changed out the air filters. He uncovered a condition — dirt build-up on the fan blower blades — that will need watching for future check-ups. A good catch!

We had our A/C installed 9 years ago & stopped paying for the maintenance agreement because it felt like they came out just to tell us the unit was working properly. Well after so long we had to call for service because our unit was clogged up with build up that we couldn’t clean out ourselves.The unit was cleaned & we reinstated our maintenance. A week later when they came for the first routine maintenance visit to check the heat the clog was already back. Matt was in our attic for almost 2 hours getting everything draining as it should before he ever started to check our heating. At the end of what I was panicking to be an expensive visit, I was shocked to find it was all part of what they were there to do. I was given a estimate for recommended future work but nothing that needed our immediate attention. Now I understand why the maintenance agreement & upkeep is so important.

Benfatti is the BEST, ac/heat company on the Northshore period!! I had 2 other companies come to my home and neither were able to solve my issues. Frankly, they were baffled and were unable to fix the issues. Benfatti's owner, Jude, and his techs' knowledge and professionalism were unmatched. The crew at Benfatti are all exceptional. Every member of their company I've spoken to is professional and helpful. We had a full A/C unit (inside and out) installed a year ago and, it's not cheap, but it's almost paying for itself with the amount of energy it's saving. Plus they have free financing which I am very grateful for. I highly recommend them and their products. You really get what you pay for!

My AC went out. The cost of repairs was going to be high and I was told that it'll be a short term fix. I would have to replace the unit in the near future. I choose to replace the entire system instead of fixing what I had. They were on time and completed the job as planned. The guys were very professional. I felt comfortable with them in my home. Wonderful experiences .... made appointment and the office sent someone out the same day. They even text you a name and picture of the technician that will show up to your home Matt showed up same day and on time - once he took a look at everything he then helped us get set up with Cory the next day and even made sure we had window units to keep us cooled down while our a/c was out. Very impressed with Benfatti and would highly recommend. They had availability to come same day as I called, however I was unable to be home at that time. They came first thing the next morning (scheduled between 8-10). At 8:20, I received a text that Matt was on his way, along with his picture. He arrived about 10 minutes later. I described my issue and he knew what the issue was immediately. He had the necessary parts on his truck and quoted me the repair price, which was very reasonable. He made the repair in about 30 minutes. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and very professional. I will definitely use Benfatti in the future.

I have seen them working at my neighbor's house and he spoke very highly of their work. When I had a total system failure I knew who I was going to call. Needed basically everything replaced and had some updates performed since they were here. 100% professional company/workers. Arrived early. (How often does that happen) Walked me through every step of the process. Explained in detail what work will be done. After two days of work they left my house looking totally spotless as if they were never here. Warm weather will be here in two days so I will get to test out the new AC and the updated duct work that was done. As of now I am completely satisfied.

We had a new Trane system installed in our house. Sean was the lead installation technician and was very professional, polite, and answered all my questions during the installation. The technicians took great care to be clean and respectful of my home, which was very appreciated. After the installation was complete, they went over the unit controls and cleaned up thoroughly. I have been using Benfatti A/C & Heating for quite a few years now, and I am never disappointed with their service. If you want prompt, professional service, this is the company you want for your A/C & Heating needs. I was impressed before they even showed up to replace my AC unit. I received an email of what to expect the day of install. When I receive that I thought well that's pretty cool of them. Morning of the install I got a picture via text of the technician who would be in doing the install. And I thought wow how cool is that. They've really got their stuff together. From start to finish, this is one of the most professional, punctual, detailed, customer oriented, friendliest businesses I've ever dealt with! I'm not over exaggerating! Benfatti is fantastic. Professional and personable crew. They removed an inefficient heat and cooling system and replaced it with a new Trane heat pump. Crew consisted of 4 individuals. Jude the supervisor/ inspector, Nick the lead installer along with Trevor and Corey as assistant installers. Everything was done in one day. Professional installation. After the installation, Jude came by to inspect what they'd done. Installation looks beautiful and system works like a charm. I can't say enough good things about this organization. Last year at this time, I called Benfatti becasue my AC wasn't working. They came out very quickly and determined that I needed a whole new unit, which wasn't unexpected. They couldn't get to to it right away but they REALLY took care of me by bringing in and installing window units. The install went as expected and everything worked fine - until today. The unit just stopped working! But... They sent someone out within an hour of the call and the problem is not with the unit but is electrical in nature. The technician sensed my anxiety over the situation and was very kind. He wasn't able to fix it, but showed great empathy for me which made me feel better even though it was not fixed.

Absolutely fabulous service! Right after the hurricane and power came back, I was running the AC and noticed I had a plugged drain line which caused water to overflow onto my wood floor. Called them and they had a service tech (Scott) out that day. Fixed the problem and checked out my whole system. Can't say enough what an excellent professional company they are!

I had another company come over the day before and they had misdiagnosed my problem and was gonna send over an estimator to charge me an ungodly amount of money that I didn't have, but today they didn't bother to show up or call so I called Benfattii. Sean and Jacob did an absolutely amazing job replacing my VERY old AC and Furnace! My old system was so loud it would actually scare my dog into her kennel and now she barely bats an eyelid. However Scott climbed up in that awful hot attic and managed to get it working enough for us to cool down until the new part comes in. Benfatti is one of the most professional companies on the northshore. Not just in the a/c and heating world but across all trades. When you call, they answer. When they say they will be there, they are on time. They even text you a picture of the technician that is in route to you. They even wear shoe covers to make sure they don't track in your house, which I thought was very thoughtful. It's all the little things that NO ONE else does. Joe was my technician, as well as my mothers just by chance. Joe was EXCELLENT. EXTREMELY courteous and knowledgeable. I own 2 businesses, so this comes from someone that knows how hard it is to maintain this level of professionalism and talent and I truly admire Benfatti. I will never call another a/c company. These guys are honestly just that good. If every company could hold their business to this level then the world would simply be a much better place. 5 stars isn't enough, so to be honest this is the most lengthy review I have ever left in my life. Well deserved guys. Take my advice and hire people that actually do it right. Thanks!

Very pleases with their service. My interior unit set itself on fire, so after the smoke went out, I called Benfatti for an estimate. They came out immediately, explained what was needed clearly without trying to upsell (unlike another contractor who told me that they wouldn't do any work for me unless they could replace the entire system), and gave me a detailed estimate. They came out as scheduled and had the work done in a day. They even came out a week later to top off the freon and make sure that everything was working fine. They were professional, courteous, helpful, and stand by their work. Even if you choose to go with another contractor, at least get an estimate from them, you'll have to pay the $99 fee anyway regardless of whom comes out. However, you won't be sorry if you choose them.

I have been on Benfatti's maintenace program for a few years. They take the iniative to set up my inspection and mantainence appointments. Recently they reommended that my heat exchanger should be replaced. They showed me photos of the problems and went through the options including delaying the repair. I chose to replace it. They were professional: didn't try to add on other repairs, all techs were efficient and knowledgeable, and they followed through with handling all warranty paperwork and setting up appt for inspection.

We contacted Benfatti AC in April of this year (2015) to get an estimate. Our upstairs ac unit had been leaking freon for a long time and needed to be replaced. When Travis (sales rep) finished his presentation, we knew Benfatti was going to be the right choice. He listened to our needs and did not try to pressure us in anyway. He was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us find a solution that was affordable. It was a very impressive beginning that set the stage for the rest of the installation. We decided to also replace the plenums on both the upstairs abd downstairs systems to make them more efficient. On the day that work began Travis returned and introduced us to Steve , the supervisor in charge of the job. He too was not only knowledgeable but also very conscience about his work and the work of the installers, Scott and his helper Steve (yes two Steves on one jobsite lol). Scott and Steve worked their butts off and made sure everything was done right with no detail overlooked. It was truly a pleasure to see such maticulous work being done. The new unit works great... much better than the old one ever did. And Travis returned two weeks later for a follow up visit just to make sure that it did. That, plus many, many other things they did sets them apart from the rest. That's incredible customer service in my opinion. I wish more companies put that much thought and care into serving their customers. I highly recommend you do yourself a favor and give them the opportunity to earn your business.
