Covenant has been great! I'd used them before to help with issues on my old unit with which they were always immediate and on time or early with answering, returning calls and showing up. Generally they were able to help me just simply over the phone with most smaller issues. I had to finally replace my 22 year old unit a few weeks ago and decided to go with them for the replacement. As units are costly right now I decided to get 3 different quotes. One was a couple grand cheaper, one was about right at same price and ultimately I'm glad I went with Covenant. They were the only of the 3 companies to respond immediately, get the unit out a day later and have it installed, they offered financing and always answered my calls and questions. The other 2 companies never responded half the time and some companies I tried never even responded or never followed up. I have to say the customer service of Covenant is top notch and refreshing. The work they did was incredibly well done and everything looks professional and operates correctly! They also offer affordable maintenance care and great warranties. Thank you guys!

Our AC failed late one evening. Called the answering service and got a call back the next morning. Very helpful dispatcher scheduled a tech evaluation for the afternoon. When the tech arrived he informed me what was wrong clearly, went to his truck to get a part and in about 30 minutes AC was working fine. Tech explained the other services they offered and I signed up for annual plan. He also educated me about what filters are best. Excellent service, great attitude, prompt response. What more could you ask for?

I didn’t know what to expect or who to call for installation of bathroom exhaust fans. I’m so glad we called Covenant! Nolan came to our house and was so helpful, kind, respectful, and knowledgeable about what was needed for the proper installation. The price was very reasonable. It ended up taking 2 separate visits, but we didn’t mind at all because they quickly called us and scheduled the appointments, and Nolan was very courteous which made it easy to have him in our home. They did great work and we will definitely be calling them for any future needs!

I had a terrible experience with my previous HVAC company and Covenant came out over a weekend where the temperatures were high and fixed the issue that had been caused by my previous company. They notified me every step of the way both before they came and during the process. I am grateful for their professionalism. I had to turn to Covenant again when my unit failed. I can't say enough good about this company. My mom has dementia and I try to come in and help with things every other month while my sister who lives nearby deals with all the day-to-day stuff. When we discovered water leaking from under her air conditioner on Sunday, I hoped that I'd be able to get somebody out before I left town, later in the week. I called first thing Monday morning and Covenant was able to get somebody out same day (I was thrilled and shocked) and Brandon called me as they said he would but I also received a text letting me know that he had completed his previous job and was going to be contacting me. After that, I received an email confirming he was on his way and a picture so I would know him easily. THIS is how you service people. Thank you so much Covenant! I recommend anybody and everybody use them, but please wait until my mom's unit is complete. (JK)

Maintenance was scheduled for a time slot of 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Alec Brown pulled into my driveway at 8:01 am. He was very friendly and professional. Covenant is a wonderful company. Recently my mother's HVAC unit stopped working. I called Covenant to have the unit serviced. The technician was immediately dispatched. The unit was 20 years old and it turned out it was time for a new one. Covenant immediately sent the cost for possible repair and a quote for a new unit. We decided to go with the new unit. Covenant called and texted updates on the schedule, arrival time of the tech, the installation date, and arrival of the tech for the installation along the way. I loved the level of communication since I was handling everything, but was traveling. I recommend Covenant for your service, or new installation needs. It is a wonderful company that has awesome customer service. Call them for all your HVAC needs.

My family woke up to a cold house on a Sunday morning due to our heat going out sometime overnight. I searched online for a company who might be able to help and stumbled upon Covenant Heating & Cooling. After reading through many of their happy customer’s reviews I gave them a call. It was early in the morning and I spoke with their answering service who assured me a tech would reach out soon. Within 10 minutes a very friendly tech, Jeremy, gave me a call to let me know he was on his way. Less than two hours from the initial phone call our heat was up and running again. Jeremy was fantastic. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and his quick response time was very much appreciated on a cold Sunday morning. The price for an emergency service call and the actual repair was incredibly reasonable. 4/19/2022 Update - Several years later, Covenant continues to provide excellent service and the unit itself continues humming like a top. Very satisfied with our decision years ago to choose Covenant. We will continue to take advantage of their seasonal service plans. Very customer focused company. To replace our 19 year old 3.5 ton unit, I got eight local quotes. Covenant was hands down the best price/manufacturer combo. Salesman and technicians were great. Worked well with our young children and weird dog. Follow up from the office is impressive. They sent cookies and even a check for the value of our old unit they hauled off to be recycled. Very satisfied. Also feel good about supporting a local business.

5 years ago I shopped around for a quality American Standard HVAC installer and settled on Covenant. The installation was flawless. Future support was discussed and my memory says that we agreed that if nothing happened in the first 6 months, it would be fine for the first two years. Sounded reasonable. 2,3,4 years pass and no contact by them for a maintenance check. Disappointed. Now my system is getting to the point that I'm sure it could use a routine check. Contacted them and their rates for maintenance were better than others so I entered into a maintenance agreement. When he came out he was efficient and seemed to be knowledgeable. Update: since I contacted them for regular maintenance they have been stellar! Increased my rating to 5.

Brandon was the person who explained what he thought was wrong and as I sit her now I can tell he was right. BTW - my personal experience with the Trane brand is not the best. The unit is loud in my opinion which I noticed on the first day it was installed. Incredible customer service!!! Called on A Saturday for a heater not working they had a technician out in a few hours to inspect and troubleshoot. He had to order the part. They came out Wednesday repaired my unit in an hour. This company has excellent communication by texting and email when and who is in route and they keep their appointments on time. The technician was clean, courteous, and very professional. And the office staff was able to accommodate my needs with a warranty company issue I was having. Overall no one wants to pay for a costly repair but with excellent customer service they made the need so much more easier. I will use them in the future and will recommend them to others. Our AC stopped working and we couldn't get it to start again. Someone came out less than 2 hours from when we called, which was amazing because it was a Saturday and everywhere else I called couldn't come until Tuesday because of the long weekend. My heat had been out for a few days so I had a technician take a look at it. It's an older unit but he was able to clean the pressure port and remove and clean all four burners which resolved the problem. He definitely knew what he was doing, was friendly and professional and I was relieved to have it up and running again. Would definitely recommend this company!

I’ve used Covenant for a general HVAC maintenance and had duct cleaning. I honestly cannot say enough about how nice, helpful, and trustworthy they are. We’ve had a handful of issues fixed and every time someone has taken time to make sure I understand why something might need to be addressed. Chris particularly took time out of his evening to walk me through some questions and educate me on how my system works. It’s really nice to be able to trust a company to do right by you. They even prayed for my baby’s heart surgery and followed up to ask how she was after. Not a lot of people or companies do that. I have never written a review for anything, but felt I needed to praise the professionalism and work ethic of Chris. We became aware of Covenant after my wife’s parents needed some AC work done and they spoke so highly of the work product and person who showed up (who took time to have several meaningful, memorable conversations with my mother in law who was recovering from surgery). So when our new home started suffering from some sub-optimal HVAC installation--despite being built only 5 years prior--and the AC stopped working, we called Covenant. Unfortunately, 3 out of 4 AC coils needed replacing. Chris was very thorough in his explanations and very kind in acknowledging the financial impact of the diagnosis; his interactions with our 3 young children were similarly kind. He even drew a diagram of what the issue was and explained it to my five year old (who was super interested in what was going on). When Chris came back to begin the work, my five year old immediately recognized him and remembered his name (high praise!). He arrived in the early morning and spent more than a full day in our attic and under our house well past dark. He never wavered from his compassionate demeanor. We invited him for dinner which he politely declined eating his lunch AND dinner in his work truck. He went above and beyond not only fixing the problem, but re-configuring some duct work to prevent future issues. His capability, personality, and expertise would be valued in any industry and am so thankful that he was the one who showed up when our AC went out! Oh, and that kind man who helped my mother in law, yep, it was Chris.

We definitely recommend this Christian-based company. Chris Schaefer was especially patient with me, visiting several times and explaining all options until I made up my mind. We called Covenant Heating and Cooling to fix an ongoing issue of our A/C units leaking condensation into our home. We have hired several other companies to attempt to fix the issue but only received temporary fixes. Covenant Heating and Cooling sent Chris Schaefer on the same day we called. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and willing to explain the entire process as he cleaned all the drain lines and cleaned the mold build-up. Our AC went out right as we were beginning to have warm/hot temperatures. We unfortunately thought Home Warranty of America would help us replace the unit as they had promised, which is why we kept renewing the service every year. We had paid out of pocket (since nothing is covered under Home Warranty of America) to fix the unit a couple of times. After paying for the warranty and repairs, we could have had a new unit to begin with. We called Covenant Heating and Cooling desperately just wanting a new AC ASAP. They responded quickly with a very fair price! When Chris and his team came to install the unit, the weather was terrible and delayed the service. He stayed LATE to make sure our unit was up and running by the end of the night. Our home has been nice and cool! We would use them again!

The owner came out and met with us, provided us a quote and got us scheduled for HVAC system replacement in less than two weeks. It could have been 1 week but we requested to push it out a little further to accommodate a family trip. Everyone who came out was friendly and professional and simply amazing. I have been a customer of Covenant Heating and Cooling since June 2012. I have always had Covenant professional service technicians arrive to service our AC/Heating system. I have never been over sold on anything that was not needed. In June of 2006 I first was introduced to this company when my daughter purchased her first home as a young single woman in her 20's. I was traveling when my daughters central heating/cooling system went out on her home. I researched online and found Covenant had the best reviews. I called the company and explained that I was across country on business and my daughter needed a service repairman. I explained my concern about a service man showing up to my single daughters home. I was transferred to the owner of the company and he reassured me that HE would be the one making the service call. Fast forward to the day where the company owner showed up. After their visit my daughter calls me and says Daddy, I told the man this was my first home purchase and she was nervous about the cost of the repair. After I spoke with the owner over the phone it was determined that the unit was past being repaired due to its age. Cost of replacement was discussed in detail and a order for a new system install was arranged. Before the owner left, ( I can not recall his name ) he stopped and took time to pray with my daughter, he prayed for her personally and her first home purchase. Ok, now fast forward to today, August 19, 2020. The service man Chris S. arrives on time to do the yearly maintenance on our heating and cooling system. During this visit I mention that we are leaving for Ohio tomorrow to attend my Fathers funeral. As we share conversation and Chris ask some questions about my Father, I sensed that his questions were heartfelt. Once our service has been completed and Chris is reviewing his findings, paperwork/receipts are prepared and Chris is getting ready to leave. At that very moment Chris ask if he can pray for me. I accept and our heads are bowed, as Chris begins to Pray for me. After just loosing my Father and listing to the words that Chris is saying in his prayer bring tears to my eyes. The prayer was detailed, personal and heartfelt. After the prayer was completed, due to COVID-19 I gave Chris a "air hug". And thanked him as I was holding back the tears. This is a prime example of how this company is run. We are always too quick to judge and never quick to complement. For 8+ years that I have been doing business with Covenant Heating and Cooling, I feel blessed that they are taking care of the HVAC needs for my family. This review is written by a 62 year old professional retired male living in West Nashville. I hired several companies over my lifetime to work on several different homes that I had. I no longer need to search for our heating and cooling home needs. Thank you Covenant and thank you Chris, your prayer touched my heart today.

My main HVAC system (15 yrs old) had a leak through the coils, so the entire system needed to be replaced. Since we are in the middle of a Tennessee summer, Covenant is extremely busy. They couldn't get the system swapped out for 10 days, so they came back out and filled the unit with freon so my family and I could remain cool until the unit could be swapped out. I've used a number of HVAC companies over the years, but I have finally found a company that I can count on to be honest and provide excellent service.

There are good air conditioning companies in the Hendersonville area, I have done business with several good companies over the years. In 2014, we purchased an A/C unit without reading reviews on the Brand. The company that installed the unit got tired of my calls. I complained on the first day the new unit was noisy. Apparently, the unit has a "variable" fan motor. All I know is I have been listening to what I call a wobbly tone for years. The day I called Covenant I was hoping they would hear me out. So yesterday Chris from Covenant made some changes to our unit. He adjusted the fan, installed something to make the unit more efficient and last night I got some sleep. That wobbly tone was so disturbing that I would not run the unit during the day because the tone would get stuck in my head and I would hear when I wasn't even home (tinnitus.) Well Covenant must have taken 10 calls from me in the past 6 months. Each time I was treated with kindness. No one got tired of my calls. I can not say enough about how diligent Covenant was toward resolving my problem. I highly recommend this company because I was treated well and most of all Chris found a solution for me. Thanks for the sleep Chris! You really helped me with this terrible problem I WAS having. gone now!

Sometimes services calls are good experiences. My central HVAC was just not doing the job today ,Sunday. I called Covenant Heating and Cooling around 6:30 pm and Chris was here in about 30 minutes. I am reviewing the evaluation process used by Matt Caylor of Covenant Heating and Cooling. I am very favorably impressed with the manner in which he developed his bid. I called Covenant to bid on a replacement for our outdoor unit which uses gas to heat and electricity to cool. I chose to call Covenant because the company advertises that their techs are NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certified. Having researched the significance of that certification, I know the standards they have chosen to meet. Of all the bids I got, Matt was one of only three who took the time to research the conditions of my house. Of the three, Matt was the most thorough. He took into account the condition of the home. He measured the size and number of the windows and took into consideration manufacture and condition of the windows. He asked about insulation in the attic and crawlspace and size of the interior. Matt and I discussed issues about airflow because I would not allow him inside the house due to concerns about the Covid virus. No other representative or contractor was as complete in assessing my house and how the results of the appraisal affected my needs for proper air conditioning. Matt took the time to explain what was involved in his thought process, emphasizing important criteria and observations. He used the data he gathered to determine the best sized HVAC product, employing software based calculations instead of just "eyeballing." I am impressed with how Matt represented himself and Covenant Heating and Cooling.

We called Covenant for an emergency repair during the bad ice storm because we had a loud noise coming from a register that we thought was a problem with the furnace /air handler. Brandon showed up, determined the problem was actually a frozen drain pipe from our sump pump that over pressurized and had blown off the coupling from the pump to the drain. The sound we were hearing was actually the water from the pump hitting the ductwork anytime the sump Pump came on. He cleared the ice from our drain lines and got everything working normal again. He was Very professional and I can’t recommend this company enough.

This was the absolute best experience I have had with house repairs/upgrades in my entire life. I do not say that lightly! These guys showed up at the right time, on the right date, got to work right away, and finished in the projected timespan. They had a lot of work to do, but they budgeted their time accordingly and were true to their word from start to finish. There were no surprises in regards to price (no deviations from the quote) and no surprises in regards to project completion time. The only surprise I encountered was how EXCELLENT the work was. I don't know anything about HVAC or ductwork, but we went with rigid ducts and my husband and I have spent the past two weeks commenting on how BEAUTIFUL they are. Our old ducts were flexline and sagging all over the place and you just don't realize what great workmanship looks like until you see it for yourself. You can tell that good business and HVAC is actually a passion for these guys and not just a paycheck. If you want top of the line and latest innovation for your home, there is just nowhere else to turn to. They are knowledgeable with HVACs, ductwork, indoor air quality, ventilation, ER-V's, you name it. I called 4 HVAC companies before I got around to these guys and I am SO GLAD we waited and didn't go with the first companies because these guys were "the one" for us. My only wish is that they did other renovation work outside of HVAC!

I was broke down on the side of the road with a flat tire on Friday evening and a young man named Will was the only person who stopped to help of what looked like 200 cars that passed.
