Tuesday morning we noticed that the air-conditioning was not cooling. We called C & M Heating and Cooling and they had a technician out to our house within 3 hours. They found there was a leak in the evaporator coil and it needed to be replaced. They ordered the part Tuesday afternoon and received the new one Wednesday morning and installed it the same day. We are very impressed and very grateful for their fast and professional service.

This company is very professional. Our A/C went out during a 100 degree heat wave. They were definitely booked with many people. My A/C unit stopped cooling late Tuesday evening. I contacted the office early Wednesday morning, and Matthew stated he could have a technician at my house by the end of the day. I received a text message stating the technician was on his way. When Tim Anderson arrived he was extremely professional and began to quickly diagnose the upstairs unit. He identified a bad capacitor and quickly swapped in a new one. He gave me some pointers to watch for tonight incase the unit didn’t start cooling down the upstairs, and to call the office in the morning if any problems persisted. Tim has worked on these units before and has always been extremely courteous and professional. He’s honest about the problem and has gone above and beyond to do a quality job. Technicians like Tim, honest and reliable work, and a quick turnaround are why C&M will continue to earn my business.

HVAC quit working on Monday- the first of 3 nearly 100 degree days. C&M was able to have a technician arrive the next morning. After diagnosing the problem, the technician drove 30+ miles (each way) to retrieve the replacement part. He returned by 4pm to install the part. The AC is now working fine. Big THANKS!

I was doing a remodel on my sunroom and wanted a mini split so we could heat and cool it. Tim came out and gave us a quote. I accepted either that day or the following as we were on a time crunch and he was back out within a week to prewire the unit so we didn’t see any wiring. All the other companies were similar cost, but all were going to have wiring exposed and didn’t even offer to prewire everything for us. When we were ready, I contacted them to get the inside unit installed and, again, they were out within a week. The unit works great, even after only an hour of it being in. The service was great and Tim and C and M have won my business for sure.

We have had multiple heating issues in our home in 2021. Once the temperature consistently hit freezing or below in Franklin, our heat would not turn on - it would stall or blow cold air. We had MULTIPLE HVAC people come to our house, including Nest (highly DO NOT recommend) who originally installed the smart thermostat. After 1 night where our temperature dropped below 50 in our house and multiple $200 charges here and there, I called C&M Heating/Cooling as a last resort. They came to the house and resolved the issue the same day in under 20 minutes - Daniel was fabulous!!! His attention to detail resolved our issue (the same issue that multiple people breezed over). I cannot thank and/or recommend him and this company enough. No more cold nights! 🤍

I am a 9 yr customer of C&M and in that time, whether it has been the semiannual maintenance or some ad hoc problem, C&M has never failed to deliver. On this occasion one of my AC units was not cooling. I called the company at 815am the next day and the technician was here in just a couple hours. (Note - the tech sent a text when he was en route which is very convenient). He quickly diagnosed the issue (a short circuit) and corrected it. This is my typical experience with C&M - very efficient, very capable, very professional and most importantly extremely customer focused. I simply can’t imagine what a more positive experience would look like.

I've used their services a number of times in the past and have had good experiences. Unfortunately, this last encounter was not. I have a 15 year old AC unit, which they installed , that needed repairs. A tech came out, told me what part needed replacing and quoted me a number. A week later the part was installed at the tune of $ 700 more than what I was told. I would have never put this much money into a unit with that age. I went to their business location and explained the situation to one of their employees. The guy I spoke with was very dismissive and acted as if it was odd that I wanted them to honor the quote I was given.

Daniel came out when we realized, while refinishing our hardwood floors, that one of our floor vents had no duct work - there was just insulation below the vent cover. Long story short, he figured out a way to get it all working properly without having to have the floor people come back out and remove the floor vent and patch the hardwoods. That was huge. So on Christmas Eve, we had a failure in the system C&M installed a little over 4 years ago in our initial remodel of our house. The upstairs heat pump wasn’t working. So I figured I would call C&M to see if they could help. Amazingly, I had a call back within 20 minutes of leaving a message and the tech was here within a couple of hours...yes, on Christmas Eve. He got the emergency heat up and running and diagnosed the problem. A bad board. It happens. He was here first thing on the day after the holiday with a replacement and all is now right and warm in the world. A bonus is that the parts are under warranty. Besides the install of the heat pump system, we also had these folks install our range hood during our initial remodel, and their work was excellent. If you want impersonal, call one of the big guys, but if you want great service with folks who know what they’re doing, who also respect your time, call C&M.

Unit installed perfectly. Duct work done well without any issues . My main issue is that Invoice came in about $1000 more than quoted for a larger unit that I feel we didn’t really need for the space. In terms of the work itself, would recommend their product, but would caution getting up charged later. I’ll revise my review if anything changes.

Had an emergency on a Sunday and C&M were quick to get out and diagnose the issue and the charge was more than fair. Both of our A/C units quit on the same day, 90 degree day in June too...I called C&M around 1:00 and a technician called me back within 30 minutes and let me know I was second in line and then he would be at my house. He showed up earlier than I was expecting, quickly diagnosed what was wrong, fixed the issue and charged me about $100 for the whole work done. I was impressed with how quickly they responded to my call, how professional the technician was, and how reasonable the cost of the service was on a hot Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend them.

I don't know much about HVAC systems, but from experience it's an expensive cost when issues arise. 3 years ago we started making sure that we were on a scheduled maintenance to keep our HVAC system healthy for Nashville's hot summers. Just like anything else, we were wanting to go with your big commercial HVAC companies (long standing record, etc.), but came across C&M Heating and Cooling. We learned they've been around for 20+ years and even better locally owned! We decided to see if we can get a scheduled appointment - one phone call, picked a date, and got a confirmation. About as easy as it could get. Now in our third year of using C&M, Chase provided our service. He was professional and walked me through what all he did from checking filer, to pipes, and coils. Before completing, he asked if there was anything else he'd like for me to check. I can appreciate good service, professionalism, and responsiveness when i experience it. Glad I went with a local company focused on providing an exceptional experience. Would highly recommend! 5 Star!

This is a fair and honest company that totally went the extra mile for me recently. The technician, Sam, actually cancelled his personal appointment after hours so that they could work my ticket in that same day. Not too many HVAC companies are willing to work that hard for their customers who are in need. On top of that, Sam was professional, friendly and quickly repaired my unit which was greatly needed because it wasn't functioning at all and was at 82 degrees while my mother was sick at home with a temperature.
