I interviewed 3 contractors last year to replace my entire HVAC system. Estes heating and cooling wouldn't touch it. Donelson Air would have required another mortgage on my home to afford. Blocker came in clutch with the win. He installed a 100% new system, furnace, AC, and all new duct system in the attic. Plus a mini split system in the basement. Fair prices, quality work, and honest guy. Since then I have used Blocker for various things like gas lines and misc. ventilation projects. Fair every time! would highly recommend Blocker Heating and Cooling.

Great, friendly, affordable, professional service!! Twice now I've had to call on Mr. Blocker to keep my A/C & Heater running. I can't recall the name of the first thing he fixed. But, the second one was a capacitor. Both times he charged a reasonable price and was more than happy to walk me through exactly what he was doing / fixing. He is friendly and professional, and I wish him lots of future success! He is a cut above! Also, he was friendly towards our ten year old mutt / dog. Blocker Heating & Cooling did a fantastic job for me. They answered when I called and were able to get to my house the same day to diagnose the problem. They also gave me updates as to when they would be at my house and got there when they said they would. I had been dealing with another company through a warranty claim and they kept telling me the part wouldn't be here for a week. Richard got on the phone the same day I called him and had the part installed the next morning. Heat in working just in time for the very cold weather to return. They were very friendly and great to talk with. I will be recommending Blocker to all my friends and real estate clients.

We called Richard on a Friday for the first time because our old downstairs heating unit seemed to quit. He came out, got our unit working almost instantly, and charged a fair price. We briefly discussed the cost of replacing the unit (including pros and cons of various unit types), and he promised to get us a quote at the start of the next week. He checked in with us on Sunday to see if things were still working, and he dropped in to get us running once more. Over the next week, we got a quote on a new unit, worked out financing, and then had it installed. Service has been wonderful with Richard - truly top quality! I don't see us using anyone else, and we already plan on service and eventual replacement of our upstairs unit with him.

I called Blocker Heating and Cooling late afternoon on a Friday because my ac unit was not functioning as it should. Richard came right out after I explained that our house wouldn't cool and my wife was 7 months pregnant. He was super professional and had my unit running top notch shortly after. This was after I had another company come out to properly fix my unit on multiple occasions within a short amount of time ranging from two weeks to three days for each call back and they failed at each attempt. We own multiple properties and Blocker heating cooling will be my one stop shop for all my air conditioning needs. He was punctual, polite, and professional. He provides terrific quality service. Blocker Heating and Cooling services our four Pilates studios. They are honest, work with our schedule, and are always on time. We had a blower motor go out last Saturday, and Richard stayed until 1:00 AM to make sure the studio was ready to go for classes the next day. Their prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Richard Blocker went way above and beyond to get our air conditioning working on one of the hottest days of the year. He made a total of 3 trips to the house in one day (due to bizarre circumstances, not to anything he did wrong) and never charged us for the extra trips. The last trip was at 8:30 at night during a thunderstorm. He came back with a shop vac to help me with a water issue. I never expected him to come back during the storm, but he did! I would give him my business any day!

Awesome experience with Blocker Heating and Cooling. We called 3 other hvac companies to inspect our heat pump. 1st one came out earlier than the their appt (2 hrs earlier) and we were not home. My husband rushed home once we knew tech was there and tech had already started on our unit and by the time was done it was no longer working. Guy said he would give us an estimate to fix it but never did...I even called company to find out where it was and said he had just been very busy. NEXT two companies set appointments to find out they didn't come to our area (next county over)...but failed to call us back to tell us they were not coming. So 4th company was Blocker...1st day Richard called to say he would be about 30 minutes late-he was but he called early to let us know. Very professional, explained everything. Part ordered for unit--they messaged me to let me know when part would be in. 2nd appointment set for repair--Tucker was on time for appt. Fixed it, cleaned up around unit. Stopped to talk to all of us.Made sure everything was working well before he left. I cannot express how professional both gentlemen were. Very thankful to have been recommended Blocker Heating and Cooling in Mt. Juliet TN and very thankful they came out to rural Cannon County to fix our unit. I will definitely recommend them to my real estate clients too!

Richard came out the same day I called and arrived when he said he would. He assessed the issue with our older HVAC system, which turned out to be a leak on the evap coil (that he found by actually looking for it - not just dismissing the entire system because it was old). He explained all of my short and long term options, and performed the work immediately. Really appreciate the fact that he didn't just resort to "replacing" everything, but gave me practical and carefully considered advice and answered all of my questions. I found the experience to be very satisfactory. I recommend him and his company. UPDATE: Summer of 21, both of our systems, one 16 years old, the other 20 years old, finally bit the dust. They had both developed large leaks at the coils. Richard tried his best to resuscitate them, but they really needed replacing. He and his crew performed the work, came back multiple times to check on us and adjust vents/dampers, solved a problem with cooling above our garage, ran new duct work, and got us back up and running quickly. I can't say enough good things about Richard and his team. They listened and looked for creative solutions. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area.

Totally agree with all the 5 Star reviews! We called on a Friday evening after normal business hours on a holiday weekend. Mr Blocker answered on second ring and was able to recall work he completed over two years ago remembering where we lived. He arrived on time the next morning, quickly diagnosed the problem, located and got the replacement part needed. Within an hour of his return, we were cool as cucumbers on a very hot day. Agree with the customer who said “this is how companies should run.” Very reassuring that Nashville has an HVAC company that is easily accessible and provides exceptional service at reasonable rates by friendly, professional experts. I wish there was a gold bar that I could select instead of a star rating. This is the standard all companies should strive to achieve!

I contacted Blocker Heating and Cooling after another individual/company did an extremely poor job moving our HVAC from a vertical position to a hanging horizontal position so we could fit in a wet bar kitchenette beneath it in a garage conversion to a master studio suit. Richard returned my inquiry promptly and scheduled to come out and examine the unit within a short time of inquiry. He gave me a price to fix the unit and neither of us realized the number of issues it would need to fix it. As a result of the initial installers numerous errors, Richard’s team had to come back three different times to trouble shoot different parts of the unit once they fixed one or two and then discovered additional problems once the first ones were solved. There was a point when Richard knew he was probably losing money on the job but he followed through and honored his word and got it fixed. The A/C is now working great and I have nothing put positive things about the way Richard conducted himself and his business. I would not hesitate to recommend him and he’s earned all five stars plus a sixth if I could give it.

Richard quickly identified the issue and made the repair. Both of the other contractors were way off base. Disappointing b/c both are names you would be familiar with. I can't speak highly enough about Richard's (owner) level of knowledge and the overall experience. I have a new AC guy, that I know I can trust!

I'm so glad we found Blocker heating and cooling! Our HVAC unit broke and we needed someone to install our new one. The gentlemen who installed it were so kind and couteous! They worked diligently to ensure we were up and running in a day, so we wouldn't be cold that night! Not only that, but they actually took the time to fix several things that the old homeowners installed incorrectly - I know nothing of HVAC units but they did some new duct work, welding, even built a nice stand for my furnace - they are so handy! We just moved to Mt Juliet from Florida and wanted to have our system and fireplace checked, as well as entered into a contract to have a service visit twice per year. Richard got on it quickly, discovered our main unit outside had never had its intake cleaned. What a mess. Now it looks like new! He also cleaned our fireplace, got it running, and showed us how to use it. We look forward to their next maintenance visit in the spring. I highly recommend this company.

The worst feeling in the world - waking up to discover your heat had gone out on a 20 degree day. Y'all, it was so bad that we were walking stiff-legged all day because our clothes were too cold to touch. I could see my own breath while cooking breakfast - something no man should have to experience in his own home. These fellas came out (on a holiday!) with a smile on their faces (again, in 20 degree weather). Did I mention our furnace is located outside the house? Of course it is, because that's the sort of day we all needed to have. Our problem ended up being rather... unique and they were required to spend much more time out in the cold than I imagine the average job takes. I really can't recommend these fellas enough. They stuck it through in miserable conditions and got the job done - all with smiles on their faces. 50+ 5-star reviews can't be wrong y'all!
