I can't say enough good things about this company! Chad has saved us twice - and I'll recommend him to literally everyone that will listen. Our home has an older HVAC system with harder to source parts, but he was able to recommend the use of compatible parts that kept my family warm through the winter this past year. Come this summer, the AC unit isn't working - we take a look at some old bids for replacement and prepare for the worst, but my wife suggests we give him a call again just in case; I'm so glad we did. In a little over an hour he fixes a wiring mistake I made installing a new thermostat, and replaces a worn part that prevents the condenser from firing up and we're in working order again. He's got our business for life - he wont sell you anything you don't need, his prices are more than fair, does fantastic work is is a genuinely great guy.

My furnace was making a weird noise so I scheduled a service visit. Chad showed up right on time, found the problem and told me how to fix it. Since it's something I can do myself, he only charged me a service call. He also showed me how to perform some maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ran through what to do in case of failure. As I was leaving I asked if he checks gas fireplaces and he said no, he doesn't but asked what the problem is. I described it to him (it wouldn't light) and he said he thought he might know what the problem is and proceeded to fix the fireplace also also at no extra charge! Wonderful experience, top-rate service!! EDIT: That was 3 years ago. This time I had a problem with my AC. Chad was able to take a look one business day after I called. My AC is 21 years old and used the old R22/freon so it would have cost more to repair than it's worth. Chad quoted me a price on a new Trane. I called around and other places either gave me the runaround and tried to schedule an appointment to replace it without telling me a price, or said something like ""It usually runs around 4500, but if additional parts are needed it would be more." Chad replaced the AC and also the coil that goes inside the ductwork next to the furnace. No fuss, in and out in about an hour, no extra fees, bill was exactly what he said except he took off the $90 I had paid for the service call.

My furnace had stopped working for almost a week and I was told by other heating & cooling companies that it would be an additional couple weeks before they were able to get me on their schedule. Then I called Chad, he was able to fit me into his schedule the following afternoon. He is a stand up guy and would 100% recommend!

We hired Seabold to replace our A\C, Furnace, and Thermostat in Februray\March of 2020. Chad and his crew were great to work with, very responsive and professional, and did fantastic job! There was even an issue with getting the rebates squared away for switching to high efficiency units (The issue was related to how the prior owner of the house had the property set a business location, vs just residential), that Chad took the extra time to make a few phone calls to get me in touch with the right people to resolve it. Would highly recommend them!

Chad was awesome and was at my house within one hour! My central air conditioner unit stopped working during a stretch of 90 degree days. Not good. Figured all HVAC service providers were swamped with the hot weather so I was pleasantly surprised when Chad said he could come right over. Our AC stopped working over Memorial Day weekend (one of the hottest weekends of the summer) and we discovered Sebold Heating and Cooling when trying to find someone to service our unit. Chad quickly responded and was able to address our issue. He informed us that our unit was nearing the end of its life span but said we may be able to keep it going through the summer. Unfortunately we had to replace it a few months later but our first call was to Chad and he provided excellent price and service in replacing our AC unit.

Rarely do you finish up a hired out house project and just feel really good about the experience end-to-end, but that was certainly our experience with Chad. We had him configure a second zone for our heating/cooling system and install a whole house humidifier. Chad came out to diagnose a furnace issue I had. After looking at it and trying some simple fixes, he recommended I go to the the original installer. As my unit may still have a warranty and itll be more cost effective to go through them. Seems like a stand up business owner.

Chad saved our bacon. Our furnace died in the frigid stretch late the night before the Super Bowl(the one MN hosted) The worst timing. Ever. I called several large Hvac companies offering 24 hour service. None of them responded. Chad answered our call close to midnight and offered to come straight over. Ultimately we had him come early the next morning. He got us up and warming temporarily til we could get our mind around this curveball(and get some other quotes). No need. He was by far the best price. He was informed, efficient, provided a great product and fantastic service. Don’t bother looking further. He’ll do right by you...he did by us.

We needed a new boiler and water heater installed, so I searched good ol' Google and had 3 companies come and provide estimates. The first 2 companies were the larger type and the third was Sebold Heating and Cooling. The first 2 came in and had the big dollar signs in their eyes, but when Chad Sebold came, it was completely different. Not only was his estimate below the other 2, it was THOUSANDS of dollars below the other's MINIMUM! Chad walked me through how the entire process would go, explained the differences between boilers and took notes on what our budget was and constantly asked for our input on everything. After thinking about who we wanted to hire, we chose Chad not only because of his estimate, but thought that supporting a small local business would be our best option. It turned out to be even more so. Chad started on time every day that he was here, explained everything that he had to do and why, answered all of our questions and when we came to some roadblocks created by the fact that we had to use space heaters last winter and some of our pipes had burst, his innovation was impressive to say the least! Most of the leaks were under the house, and I felt terrible when Chad came back out from going under the first time just completely soaked from one of the leaks. He didn't even take a few minutes to dry off, he and I just laughed and he was back under searching for the source. I can't say enough to explain just how great Chad was personally as well as professionally. His work and dedication truly speak for themselves! I'm not the type of person who writes reviews unless I've been absolutely blown away, and Chad exceeded my extremely high standards in each and every way possible. Needless to say, if you have ANY heating or cooling projects, don't go with the bigger guys! Chad is better, more flexible, more knowledgeable, WAY more affordable and his personality is second to none! I WILL hire Chad Sebold again for ANY other projects in his field and I've already told my friends and family around here to give him a call if they have any type of HVAC issues and I truly hope that anyone who reads this review hires him for theirs. You're just not going to get the best service with anyone else.

Wonderful!! It was 13 below and my furnace stopped running. I called them after hours and left a message. Within minutes I had a response and Chad walked me through things I could try to get the furnace to catch and keep running. Even though we determined that I would have to call elsewhere because he did not carry parts for my brand of furnace, he checked back in the evening to see if I had heat. You don't find this level of customer care many places. Thanks!!
