I was able to get same day service when we woke up to our furnace not working. The service technician Ethan was excellent at explaining everything he did during diagnostics and repair of our furnace. I was given cost estimates before work was done and given great recommendations on what things to do to keep it running in good condition. Tom was on time (less than 1 hour). Was very thorough and knowledgeable. He did not try to sell me on anything and did a good job of explaining the causes and symptoms of my issue. Bad pressure switch, and some build up from past water leak, as well as the blower setting being too low. He was efficient and quiet in his repairs. I would use them again and recommend his services to anyone in my neighborhood!

He was able to diagnose the issue, but unfortunately, couldn't fix the problem as we had a bad electronic thermostat which is part of our overall home security system. Tom K. was very personable and caring. He took his time to explain things to me and answered all my questions. Sometimes you get folks in this field who make you feel dumb for not knowing certain things or terminology, but Tom wasn’t like that at all. They also gave me a 4 hour window so I was expecting him to show later in the day but came right at the beginning of the time window which was great! The fix/maintenance was quick and easy for a very reasonable price! They will be my go to for any future HVAC needs!

Called for service at 7 am when we woke up to no AC. Got an appointment for 2 pm. Tech called and said he could come early. Came at 11:30 am. Diagnosed issue almost immediately and explained how everything worked. Patiently answered my random questions. Fixed AC by replacing a burned out capacitor. Was probably out the door in 30 minutes or less from diagnosis to payment. He even showed me how to clean the coils for future maintenance.

He resolved the problem quickly and provided thorough information not just on how to solve the problem, but also in how the furnace worked, how to adjust settings in the thermostat and what each setting meant, and how to use the furnace in the most efficient way possible. I was very pleased with One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. We purchased their VIP in Home Protection Plan for about the same cost as an inspection for our HVAC system and plumbing. They found a crack in the furnace heat exchanger during an inspection, which is a very dangerous situation. The Tech used a camera for the inspection, and was able to take a picture of the crack. The Tech ordered the required parts and returned to install the new heat exchanger, meeting or exceeding all of my expectations.

Our furnace went out early Christmas morning. The temps outside were extremely cold. I panicked as I have a pregnant wife and 3 children. I have never been in this situation before. I called One-Hour and the first person I talked to, unfortunately I forgot her name, had the most positive attitude I ever heard for someone working on Christmas. She was very kind and assured us that they would get someone out here shortly to look at our furnace. My wife and I agreed that that was the best customer service that we ever received especially in this busy industry. Gavin arrived at our house shortly and immediately started troubleshooting the problem. He was very informative and even though he was not able to help us that day due to needing a part (Christmas day), he was very helpful on giving us a timeline and assuring that he would get the job done. Gavin had the part delivered directly to my door asap. I called back to One Hour and received the same amazing customer service from a different woman (I’m horrible with names). I requested that Gavin come back to finish the job. He arrived within an hour, installed the part, set us up with the VIP program and tuned up our furnace. Overall, it was the best service I believe I have ever received from a contractor from the initial phone call down to the service being completed and I genuinely mean that. Although this company does not specifically deal with the brand of furnace that I have, they are able to get the parts needed to do the job and I will not be using anyone else. We had one hiccup due to not being able to get the part because of the holiday, but I can assure you that you can rely on them to get the job done.

We had One Hour Heating & Air come out to do an annual furnace inspection. Caleb did a FANTASTIC job. Friendly, and knew his stuff. He found an issue with our humidifier tube that COULD have caused a water leak in the future (the tube was obviously cracked and could have started to leak at ANY time.) Thankfully he found the issue before it became a problem, and did everything he could to repair it! I watched him the entire time (just out of interest), and saw the tube break off just from the slightest touch by him. Thank you Caleb for finding the issue before we had a water leak!

Corey was outstanding! After my new furnace install earlier in the day, it stopped working that same evening. He was the on-call tech for the evening and showed up within 30 minutes of my emergency trouble call. His diligence in identifying the problem was remarkable and so much appreciated! Although he quickly found & resolved a problem with backed up water from a normal condensation source that had caused the initial furnace shutdown, the problem persisted with water continuing to not drain properly resulting in repeated shutdowns the furnace. It took 2 hours of diagnostic effort to rule out any additional blockage of the entire drainage system & finally discover a MANUFACTURER'S design flaw in my furnace model that caused the intended path for the collecting condensation to miss the initial entry point into the drainage system - causing it to flow back into other parts of the furnace where it didn't belong. Corey stayed upbeat and pleasant through the whole frustrating ordeal, and we slept comfortably in a warm house again! THANK YOU, COREY!

My furnace is about 13 years old and Tom came out to service it since it wasn't starting up. Here in MN the weather drops quickly so I was hoping to have it repaired sooner than later. FYI I am on their VIP monthly membership for a piece of mind. He inspected the furnace and he discovered that when I replaced my thermostat last year.. the red wire must of gotten loose.. after correcting that issue, the furnace started up like normal. I had mentioned to him an incident that happened last year.. where home depot installed washer/dryer and the installation guys didn't do it right and small amounts of gas was leaking, but I didn't know it! I was getting headaches for months and if it wasnt benjamin coming out for my plumbing issue, I wouldnt have know that because I became used to the gas smell. So on this visit Tom answered all my questions about CO2 and other questions about my furnace and its age etc. He ALSO mentioned a low level CO2 monitor.. I didnt kmow one existed! And I highly recommended this for everyone! The best part is you can purchase it right from the technician. This low level CO2 monitor will detect 10ppm. No standards for CO have been agreed upon for indoor air and most regular CO2 measures 40ppm.. the low level is much safer I think and I have a 5 year warranty on it. I have to say Tom is amazing technician, I would recommend him if you have any concerns and ask all the questions you need! I would definitely recommend him again for my HVAC issues

Bryan did a wonderful job on our furnace PM. Showed a couple issues regarding some bad aftermarket filters, and the issues they were causing. Had a partially clogged secondary heat exchanger, which you could tell with the photos provided by Bryan. Have options and went with the cleaning or heat exchanger and blower wheel. Never felt pushed to doing anything unnecessary. Fast and efficient. Also did diagnostics on thermostat and got that setup correctly. Will continue to support One Hour as long as they have great service techs like Bryan.

Giving 3 stars due to my awful experience with the salesman, Chad, but my awesome one with Bre and Chad's manager, Kat. I can't give 1 star, but I also can't give 5 stars. I came home after being away visiting my dad over Father's Day weekend, and stepped into INCHES of water on my basement carpet. Water...plumber. I called a different company, who told me it was my AC coil, and I needed HVAC. They came out 2 days later. The service guy told me my AC was shot. I knew that when I bought the house. I didn't know it would leak like that, and I'm a first time homebuyer, so I wasn't really well versed in all of that. I was given 3 options: 1. No AC. 2. Temporary band-aid fix for around $5k. 3a. New AC. 3b. New AC and furnace. Obviously, I'm going to pick option 3. I'm just not sure which one. The service guy calls Chad, who happens to be nearby. He comes and takes a look, and suggests that I replace both the furnace and the AC. Obviously, he's a salesman. That's his pitch. The AC was from 1999. The furnace was from 2008. The total would be over $11k for equipment and installation. Obviously, I wanted to see if I was approved for financing, which I was. I asked over 5 times if it would be a soft hit on my credit. Each time, Chad told me yes. He stated that Ally Financing would send me documents to sign, we set up an appointment, and he left. I then started getting emails. Several of them. One was from Experian, stating I had a HARD HIT on my credit report. The other 4 we're from Ally and their fourth party with SIGNED LOAN DOCUMENTS that I did NOT sign. My plan was to read the documents, sign if I chose to do so, and look around at some other quotes. I immediately called Ally. They stated that I did indeed have a loan with them for over $11k. I informed them that I did NOT sign anything; I didn't even see Chad's screen. They put the loan on hold. They said that Chad would need to call in to admit his error, and they would remove the hit from my credit. I then called Chad. I informed him that he e-signed documents for me and that is NOT what he had said would be happening, and I also had a hard hit. He apologized profusely and said he wasn't aware. He said he'd call them right away. I gave it a day, and called Ally. I asked if Chad had called. They stated he hadn't. The loan was on hold still. I gave it another day and called them again. They told me that it was a "consumer decline". I asked if anyone had called, and they said no. I then called Chad back. I informed him he actually had to call them. He said ok, and he would do it right away. Throughout the week, I called Ally several times. Chad never called. I sent him a text on June 29 (Wednesday), stating that we've spoken on the phone twice, so text will suffice, but I expected him to call Ally by end of day on July 1st (Friday). I got no response. I called Ally on Friday. He still had not called. Ok, no problem. Holiday weekend, family time, etc. I texted him again on July 6 (Wednesday) stating that I needed him to call Ally by the end of that day or I would be calling his company, manager, filing complaints, etc. No response. I called Ally at the end of the day. He still had not called. I then called the office and spoke with Bre. I explained the situation. At this point, I am extremely annoyed. However, I had given Chad plenty of chances to rectify the situation. She listened to me. Empathized. Assured me this was her first priority today, and set expectations. And actually FOLLOWED THROUGH!!! I got a text from her this morning, an email from the account manager, Kat, and 2 phone calls, as well as another email with all the information I needed! They contacted Ally, stated Chad made a mistake, and were SO NICE!!! They both deserve a huge raise. I called Ally to verify, and yes, they are removing the hard hit from my credit. This story started on June 23. It is July 7. This could have been remedied the same day. Beware of Chad. Oh! Also, after several other estimates, ALL OF THEM told me I didn't need a furnace at all! MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE SCREEN BEFORE SAYING YES!

The customer service rep was friendly, helpful, and informative - and was able to get me scheduled quickly. Before the tech (Joel) came, I had a picture and a quick bio sent to me so I knew who to expect. The tech called to let me know he was ahead of schedule and actually came about 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled window, which was great! Bryan was great, very friendly and professional. I had him out to do a tune-up on my furnace. He noticed my Wi-fi Thermostat was off-line. I had a new router installed a month and forgot I needed to re-establish a connection with my thermostat. He reconnected my thermostat to my phone and then showed me several nice features on the application that I was unaware of. He then noticed I had a small leak in my plumbing that was feeding into my water softener. He also happens to be a certified plumber and offered to fix the leak, which he did. He replaced several pipes and added a new turnoff value. He then noticed I had some water in a pipe that leads to my underground sprinkler system. It was midwinter in Minnesota and he was concerned the guy who winterized my underground sprinkler system may not of actually blown out the lines. He went to the outside of my house to verify everything was done correctly. He went the extra mile to make sure everything was working as it should. Great job, great guy. Mike

10/28/21 Had maintenance done on the furnace (that was installed 2 years ago) today and Garrett was great! Professional, thorough and helpful. Thanks again! Woke up Friday AM and noticed how cold it was. The furnace was not kicking on. Called to see if someone could look at it (found out a year ago to the day was my last maintenance on it) they sent Joseph our and he was great! Unfortunately the furnace was not great news. Chad then came out to go over options and prices. They went over everything and explained in great detail and answered our questions. They had an opening for Saturday (today) and at 8:00 Rick was here installing our new furnace and AC. Rick was wonderful too! He did a super job, everything looks great and clean after. He went over everything too. I’ve always had a great experience with One Hour, glad I’m a VIP member and appreciate their customer service from the first phone call to in person. Very grateful we were able to get heat on such a short notice. Thank you all again!

They were able to send a tech over within 15 minutes of calling! Having explained to Seth, their technician, what my symptoms were, he arrived promptly with an idea of what was wrong. Starting with the call, Tammy was friendly and helpful in scheduling my appointment and getting the necessary information. She clearly stated what I should expect when the tech arrived so there weren’t any surprises. Then I received a confirmation text/email with which tech would be coming. But it wasn’t just any text...it had Chad’s picture and an introduction statement on Chad’s background and experience as well as a tracker so I knew when Chad would be arriving. I was also able to see reviews specific to Chad. Chad was very professional, super speedy, and very knowledgeable as he was able to diagnose and make the repair in 15 minutes. The whole experience was impressive and would certainly recommend.

The technician that came to my property did exactly what he needed to do, but the "on site" tune up was nearly $160 more (over double the standard price) of other companies' tune up costs. He also said this price could not be reduced to the standard $80-100 tune up. I would use the company again, but charging customers more simply because you can is a pretty dodgy practice, in my opinion, and I'll likely explore business elsewhere.

Had a new furnace and air conditioner installed about 3 weeks ago. Air conditioner works awesome and so does the furnace the problem was one of the joints on the plastic exhaust pipe was primed but it wasn't glued so it was leaking water onto the floor. Seth was here maybe 15 minutes at the most very professional and did a great job. When they installed the furnace they just forgot to glue one joint it was primed but not glued. Everything is fixed have been using the air conditioner most of the month of October it works awesome. Furnace works awesome also good company to work with.

My AC unit stopped working mid-day. I had used One Hour before for duct cleaning, normal tune-ups, etc so I decided to submit a request online for AC service. Since my info basically auto fills, I submitted an online request in 20 seconds. Within 5 minutes I received a call from a friendly staff member that asked a few questions about the problem I was having. I had a technician at my house in about 20 minutes after that. He was very courteous and professional. After asking me a couple of questions and testing the unit with a meter, he identified the problem as a failed capacitor. He swapped the component, tested my system, and had us up and running with our AC within an hour of me submitting the original request for help! My AC is 21 years old as well, so I was amazed that we were able to go straight into a repair without feeling like a had to consider a whole new unit. Electrical on my pool (and next week for a new cooktop exhaust hood) Plumbing (for bathroom, and now a new water heater next week) and Heating (new boiler system a few years ago). I’ve found them to be honest, ethical, punctual, personable, professional, and they follow through and back up their work!!! We just paid a small service fee for them to come out and check the health of our furnace and A/C after having some issues. Turns out we fixed the problem ourselves by replacing a long overdue air filter. We appreciated the honesty and not trying to upsell and talk talk us into a new unit. Step One with Tom was great. Several options were presented with along with factors to consider. I had all the information I needed to decide which system we wanted to replace our 29 year old system. Step Two was the installation by Tyler. He arrived on time with good notification and the installation went well. We are enjoying the new A/C. We like the variable speed fan that helps to balance the temperature throughout the house. Step Three was to adjust the duct work. The slope on one of the venting ducts did not pass inspection. One Hour called us and immediately arranged a time to come fix the issue. Tom (not the same Tom) also kept us informed of the timing. He professionally fixed the issue replacing a good portion of the duct work as necessary. Update in July 2021: Our one year inspection and maintenance work was done. Steven was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. We appreciate the cleaning on the coils outside. It is amazing how much "fluff" collects in just one year. Everything is continuing to run well!

Had a technician (Matt) out to look at my central air unit this past week and was very happy with the service. Matt made it to the appointment right at the start of the appointment time window and was knowledgeable and very professional. He walked me through the whole process and gave me a couple options to fix the unit. I was pleasantly surprised when he recommended the less costly option as the likely best fix too. The repair worked great and my AC is working good as new. Would definitely recommend these guys if anyone is having HVAC problems.
