Nick was a great person to work with to find the right heating/ A/C unit for our house. And Matt and his team did a great job installing our new furnace and A/C and also walked me through how everything worked. And we had Andrew come and clean our vents and he did a great job and was very informative. Overall we are very satisfied with our choice to use One hour Heating.

If you need heating and/or air conditioning help - this is the place to call!!! Our a/c unit was on the decline and One Hour came out a few times to try and fix it for us, but it just didn't want to cooperate. We then met with Jeff, the home comfort advisor, came out to meet with us about our options. He was friendly, sincere and very knowledgeable. We purchased a new unit and decided to replace the old furnace at the same time. Jeff also gave us advice about how to keep the upstairs bedrooms and loft at a reasonable temperature bc it was always much warmer up there. His suggestion to keep the furnace fan on and all the vents open really changed the comfort level in our entire house. OMG thank you so much Jeff! We made the purchase in the morning and Jim H had an opening in his schedule that same day so we had everything installed immediately. Thank goodness for that. The temps were going to soar that weekend and it would have been miserable without air conditioning. Note: we also had them install a water softener last year and we joined their maintenance club. Very glad we did that. You should too. I can't say enough how wonderful One Hour has been to us.

Absolutely great experience. We scheduled a tune-up for our sadly neglected furnace. Communication was good that day to tell us when he would arrive. The tech, Brian, was amazing. He offered to let my home-schooled son watch him work and explained everything he did, throwing in some valuable life lessons as well. What a great experience for my son, and I learned a lot too! He went over some recommendations but I did not feel pressured to buy anything. He was honest and informative, helping us to become informed consumers. I highly recommend this company and genuinely look forward to using their services in the future!

My experience from beginning to end has been nothing but fantastic! Our boiler stopped working Monday night and the receptionist that help me was so nice and empathetic. A tech wasn't available to come that night but they were out early Tuesday morning. Even though it turned out we would have to replace our boiler they were able to get it running until they came out to replace it 2 days later! Cole and his partner were fantastic and did a great job! Very courteous, answered all my questions and showed me how to use the new thermostats and what to watch for on the new boiler. Will definitely be using them for any issues in the future! Plus they gave us a fun gift bag of spices for using them which was a nice surprise!

The service techs are so nice, very knowledgeable and will keep you informed. Bryan was the gentleman that came to do the first heating inspection on my furnace. Eric & Anthony were wonderful to work with. They were on time, walk me through the process and started to work immediately. Furnace & AC installation took less than 7 hours and everything was cleaned up and hauled away without any disruption. Prior to leaving Eric walked me through the work that they did and made sure all my questions were answered. This is an experience that homeowners do not look forward to, but the entire process from my initial call and the response and time that it took for the work to get done was phenomenal. I had to have a new furnace and air conditioner installed about a year ago. Everything went flawlessly and all of the technicians were excellent. Most recently my plumbing was inspected and Daniels(?) was thorough, friendly, and gave me great suggestions for keeping everything in good working order. I highly recommend this company.

After the latest storm, we had a power line that supplied power into our property fail. When that happened, it ended up breaking our Hvac unit. Called for repair and Jake came out in a matter of hours. Noticed we were not getting any power to the unit so he helped me navigate who I needed to call to get power back. Had to call them back out because the power being restored didn't fix the issue. He brought extra parts so we could be sure to have the unit fixed before the hot weekend. Ended up being a blown transformer. Installed it and everything was working again. Jake was very nice to talk too and helped me understand what the issue was. I would highly recommend one hour heating and hopefully everyone is as good as Jake.

One Hour was a extremely responsive and able to get someone over to look at my AC the next morning (I called after 6pm the night before). As a matter of fact, they called well before the scheduled appointment to let me know the tech was able to swing by earlier. Jake was professional and so helpful in determining the best next steps for my 21 year old furnace. Can’t thank him and One Hour enough for their speed, thoroughness and customer service! Updating to also include Aaron when my neighbor complained about the pitch of my new AC unit. He took time to talk to us both and changed out the motor and blades. Great group of people. Honest and straight forward. I would use them again and reccomend them to anyone! Brad did the quote and education. Eric and another tech did the install. Both were great. Eric was very honest. There was a tool that was dropped that chipped a tile in my utility room. He was very apologetic. He didn't try to hide or and was very forward. I assured him I wasn't going to lose sleep over a chipped tile in my furnace room, after all accidents happen. I appreciate the honesty though, owning it is very important! After having poor experiences with other companies I was very happy with them. They didn't have the lowest price but they had the best education, warrenty, and service. There quotes were all very comparable to most other companies I got estimates from. Of the ethical companies they were all within a few hundred of one another. So go with the best warranty and service, which is Northern.

Jeff was very knowledgeable, came out to give us an estimate for a furnace and A/C. We had the service team out earlier in the day and our board in the furnace was bad. I was told it would be $1,400 to fix. We had other companies coming out for estimates as well since we had no heat for almost 3 days. I was told bye the service team, we paid the $99 for the call, if we were using them for the new furnace and A/C they would wave that charge. Jeff wanted $14516.50 and would not wave that $99. Bummer, wrong information then and the company would not stand by an honor it. Jeff told me he couldn’t because he already gave the sale of off half off in the A/C at $4813.50. This bid was $2K to $2,500 more than 3 other companies for a 96% Eff furnace and a 16 seer A/C. He then said the bigger price (2K-2500) it’s because, the lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and they would replace the whole unit every other company would not replace the whole unit. The company we decided to go with has a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and they may not replace the whole unit but the labor to replace that is a few hundred dollars so the difference in price pays for itself 6X over if we would have that issue. And at the end of the day he was the last one here but would not honor his coworkers $99 waived for coming out which they’re not standing behind each other, lost the sale. Thanks for your time Jeff.

Don't hesitate to schedule a service with this company. There are responsive, reasonably priced and their customer service is exceptional. Brandon V was absolutely the best HVAC technician I have ever worked with! We were a week and a half out from selling our home and our furnace stopped working. We needed someone to come that day since we were headed out of town that night. One Hour Heating was the only company that could come out same day. When Brandon arrived he was super sympathetic to the urgency of our repair needs. He walked me through what was wrong, provided a temporary solution to restore heat and showed me how to troubleshoot it myself if needed. A part was ordered and a follow up service was scheduled. During the service I explained that the new home we were buying had a similarly old furnace we would need to replace and he even took the extra time to provide me some recommendations for furnace brands. Fast forward a week and a half, the part finally arrived! I had been calling the One Hour Heating customer service team every other day to follow up since we were quickly approaching our close date. Nick, the HVAC dispatcher, was super great at providing reassurance that the part could be installed prior to selling the house. Brandon arrived early on the day we were closing on the home, installed the part and confirmed everything was operational with a few hours to spare before we signed paperwork. To add the cherry on top, Brandon helped bring in a package on the front door and gave me the details I needed to give my realtor/buyers a heads up. This was truly going above and beyond the call of duty! I can't thank Brandon, Nick and their customer support team enough for the support they provided.

I am happy with my duct cleaning. Andrew made me feel comfortable and he asked where every duct was and did his job very well. After he did his job he texted me some pictures on the hair that he found because I wanted to know about how much hair from our dogs was collected. I was curious on the pet hair because we had a dog with long hair. He sat down with me and explained his findings on the test he did for air flow. I will use this company over and over again. Very good company.

Immediately diagnosed the problem and repaired within an hour. I'm not going to say they are cheap but believe you pay for expertise plus they warranty the part for 3 years. He also added a part that my system was missing that would help it run more efficiently and assist the replaced part so it would last longer and not work so hard. He sat and submitted preapproval with my home warranty company for the repair and the repair was authorized within 30 minutes. I have AC again!!!

Updated Review 05/22/2022: My AC was acting up two after they were out to fix my furnace. No relation to each other just bad luck. The issue was I was low on coolant so evaporator coil was freezing up. It ended up costing a fair amount more than expected for the minimum 3lb recharge and easyseal dye leak sealant and if it gets low again they will have to come again and I'll have to pay for a leak check and whatever extra work is involved including another recharge. Again the technicians seem to do good work and the scheduling customer service is fine but I am questioning a few things. Original Review 05/02/2022: The technician Kelly was great. Diagnosed the issue to my satisfaction as I had an idea that the ignition was an issue. He did all work in about 40 minutes so was very efficient. The only reason not 5 star is it was a bit more expensive than average based on what I was able to find on my research. The price was on the high end of average but nothing ridiculous.

Technician was on time and I was given good notice of his upcoming arrival. Shawn was knowledgeable and professional and talked with me through each step of the maintenance and system checks he ran. No pressure to make any purchases or repairs (although plenty is wrong with my unit). He scheduled me with an appointment to have an estimator come out during a time that my dad would be available to be there to assist me with the process of gathering information and estimates. We realized our furnace died just after bedtime when it was -20 with windchill outside. We called around, and settled on this company based on Google reviews. They were able to have a technician come out at 8am the next morning to take a look. It was red-tagged, and so the tech left us with 3 space heaters to maintain/warm up the house at no charge. A sales consultant came out a few hours later to talk new units with my wife and I. We quickly reached a decision and the following morning a few techs came out to install a new one and we’re done by early afternoon. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience with the company and would use them again!

Aaron (and Erin) were both awesome to have work on our AC system. They showed up on time ( a little early actually) when they entered our home they put on the little foot coverings without being asked! They explained what they were going to do, and went right to work. They checked my A coil, the freon line and ultimately the outside ac unit. The freon was low and I ended up having a bad capacitor. They replaced the capacitor, recharged the system and tested everything all in about 2 hours. They cleaned up everything and I was very impressed. I will definitely use them again!!! I would highly recommend!!

The technician delivered bad news well, explaining clearly the mechanical issues he discovered inside the furnace heat exchanger. I was able to see what he saw by way of a camera probe. Just had a complete new HVAC system installed 6 months ago. It was the highest level one offered with the largest warranty offered. They come over for a 6 month checkup (I pay a $20 monthly fee for this) and I am told that I need a surge protector and a few other things that will cost me another $250, and that a power surge would compromise my entire warranty (and that I will need another surge protector come summer for the A/C). The salesman failed to mention any of this and sold me a "fully protected" system for ~$13,000 - it was not even offered, I would have gladly paid then. This is either an uneducated salesman or someone who knowingly sold me a unprotected product which either way it seems to be an unacceptable practice to do this and require $500 in upgrades later to actually protect the system (that was also unprotected for 6 months because of this). The service has been phenomenal, Shawn was great. I understand it was likely in the fine print, but this is extremely dubious sales tactics - just sell me the full cost system and quit with the shady practice. UPDATE: I was refunded for the furnace surge protector, but will need to cover the cost of the A/C protector. So they do acknowledge what they did was bad business, but are only willing to cover half the cost (what is my $20/month for again?). Good news is that they told me that they will include this in training so hopefully they don't surprise anyone else with this.

Northern’s One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing got us in the same day, and when it turned out we needed to replace rather than repair, Shawn was able to arrange the installation for the next day and set us up with loaner space heaters for the -20 night ahead. Woke up to the a/c being out. They were one of the few places open 24 hours and the woman on the phone was great. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it fixed in time for the hot 4th of July weekend, but she was able to set up an appointment for us the same day.They showed up earlier than the time stated (which they said was a possibility) showed the price before working and finished the repair quickly. Northern One Hour Heating & Cooling and Benjamin Franklin are under common ownership. Brendan was our service tech. I had called Benjamin Franklin plumbing for emergency service for our kitchen sink. While Brendan was unhooking our garbage disposal, we discovered a leak in our laundry room sink. He agreed to stay and install a new seal after he had replaced the disposal, which was shot. My husband and I were extremely were extremely impressed with this company. The salesman Jeff was remarkable, he answered all of our questions and was extremely knowledgable. We live in a brand new mobile home so our options to get central air installed was limited to scam companies that don't finance and install low quality units and have terrible reviews as far as service goes. I mean come on, you're talking about a major appliance for your home why would you go cheap? The technician that came out to put our unit in was amazing! He was unbelievably kind and personable. Even going as far as to tip toe when he seen my baby sleeping in her swing. I can respect that. 🤣 the technician took the time to explain our unit, our new digital thermostat and general care and maintenance. He cleaned up after himself, there wasn't one piece of dust to be seen in our mud room. The poor guy had to work out in some pretty wet conditions and worked in some tight quarters under the trailer and never once complained. We will be returning to them for all of our servicing needs.
