Midland sent a tech to do the yearly inspection of my furnace. They had recently installed a new one so it was running fine. I always find Midland reliable, honest, and fair. Esteban was a really good tech today. Personable and knowledgeable. Efficient too. And thorough.

We just purchased a home and when our mini split broke, we worked with 4 other companies that charged an arm and a leg to simply be told "Yes, your system is broken but we can't fix it"! We found Midland through the mini split manufacturer's site. From our first interaction onwards, they have been honest, clear and put our needs first. Not only did they find the issue, but they resolved it! All while working with our insurance company. The team embodies professionalism, service and genuine care for their customers.

The team who removed and installed a new boiler were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They worked extremely hard (the old boiler was incredibly heavy and difficult to remove from my old home’s basement) and they were very careful to not track dirt or make a mess. They were professional and I would highly recommend using this company. I have A/C work that needs to be done this spring and I will be calling Midland for that work, as well!

We had Midland install our humidifier when we moved in last February. For some reason, 10 months later water wasn't being pushed into the unit. Glad I called because a valve needed to be replaced and it still fell under the 1-year warranty. The folks at Midland got someone to my place within an hour of my initial call to diagnose the problem and had everything repaired within a couple of hours. Quick, painless, and informative. Midland Heating and Cooling has been fantastic to work with for our furnace that needed to be replaced this year and our A/C install 2 years ago.They took care of every aspect from scheduling the install, duct cleaning, keeping in touch with me as we had to work around renovation projects and change the date a few times, to the final walk through and answered all of my questions. Friendly installers and staff, very reasonable price. They didn't have enough drop-cloths with them, so there was quite a big mess in the basement after installation, but other than that they did a great job.

We used Midland and had a great experience with John, the HVAC Technician they sent out. Dispatch was very communicative and worked to fit our scheduling needs. The technician was on time and took extra effort to talk me through his diagnostic process and what could be done during the 30 minute session, and what next steps could look like. Overall very professional and worth the money!

My AC stopped working on Wednesday afternoon, they had a guy out here next day, and it was fixed by Thursday afternoon. Great work, and the technician, Josh, was one of the friendliest and most informative people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. Price was cheaper than expected, too! Definitely going to be calling on these guys for any future issues, and will highly recommend them to anyone else in the area.

A young technician with great courtesy and manner worked on our central outdoor air conditioning unit for the house during the heat wave, he was patient to explain the problem after some diagnosis, and finished his job for a replacement of some parts outside and double checking everything inside, fairly thorough. Would defuse it again if anything happened. The charge was 300+ dollars, but I guess any of those maintenance work wouldn’t be cheap with other shops either, so we’re quite satisfied with it. At least they didn’t do sweet talking to sell you on replacing the whole unit etc, you know? Lewis

I know great customer service, having been a crew member at Trader Joe's for 11 1/2 years, so I can say without reservation that Midland Heating & Cooling has great customer service. Since 2016, each member of the Midland team with whom I've had contact is friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and dependable. My house has a high tech, high efficiency, Slant Fin gas boiler that demands from each part and from every service absolute precision. Midland techs keep at it until they get it right. In addition to accolades, critical feedback is a responsibility of being a good customer, so I offer this: Midland will benefit from a tighter focus on constant incremental improvements in returning voice messages sooner and leaving jobs cleaner. Perfection is only an aspiration, and so if possible I'd give Midland a 4 1/2 star rating.

Todd and his team were prompt, helpful, and completed a professional installation of our new furnace and ac unit. Dan, the install manager, made sure that initial recommendations upon quote would be most effective for our home. Lonnie and the install team took special care in hooking up an existing minisplit we had as well. Overall, my experience with Midland was great and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Todd and his team were wonderful. We had a complex job, looking for duel fuel system incorporating an air source heat pump with a gas furnace. Few companies had any idea what were were talking about. Midland not only knew, but helped us source the best fit for our needs. They were patient, helping answer our questions, and helped ensure the final setup was done right.

I highly recommend Midland. They were very prompt in repairing our water heater. Their tech was polite, kept us appraised of the work, and cleaned up the project area, apologizing because the concrete floor was slightly wet. (Having drained the water heater I expected it to be wetter!) Also, unlike the other heating and cooling companies we have dealt with in the Twin Cities, he did not spend a good share of his time here trying to sell us upgrades or replacements we didn't need or weren't interested in.

Great service, great team! I choose Midland to install a new furnace and AC in 2010 and I have continued to have them do service, correct issues in ductwork from builder, add features to system like humidified and UV light for cleaning the air. They work with you schedule, do great work, and take the time to explain what was done, how to optimize your systems, power usage, etc. Thank you!

Midland Heating and Air Conditioning is terrific! They were more than willing to schedule a weekend appointment for me so I wouldn't have to take time off of work. They even told me the time the the technician would arrive on Sunday morning, rather than give me the typical 4 to 6-hour window of time where one needs to sit at home and wait. The technician, Bobby, called shortly before arriving to make sure I was home, and arrived right on time. He was professional, courteous. friendly, and he did exactly what was needed! My air conditioner is again working beautifully. I would recommend Midland Heating and Air Conditioning to anyone!

These guys were easy to work with - they answered all my initial questions about what could possibly be wrong with my central air conditioner. They set up an appointment that worked for me (it was the next day). Showed up to do the work on time. Explained exactly what needed to be done. Finished the work quickly. The price was very fair. The AC is back up and running great. And to top it all off - our Tech Steve was extremely friendly - even to my dogs. Great work guys!!!!!

I had my furnace go out over night, Thursday, and Midland had room to fit me in that afternoon, Friday. Jessica showed up and had the issue diagnosed in about fifteen minutes. Then after a few phone calls found out that no longer made parts for my furnace, since is was about 30 years-old. With that all figured out she got things rolling an their end to get me a new furnace. I got a call from Todd at their office within an hour and he and I figured out which model I needed. He emailed me the invoice and told me to get it back to them as soon as I could so he could get the install scheduled. Todd and two of his crew were at my house the next morning, Saturday, at 8 AM and were all done by about 10AM. All four of the employees that I dealt with were friendly and helpful. They got me all squared away in less that 24 hours including work on a Saturday. Also there was no additional fee for having the install done on the weekend.

The perfect company for any HVAC needs. Dan, the owner, was extremely helpful when diagnosing what was going wrong. I had both my furnace and a/c go out and two people came in and fixed in it a day. It was a long day, but everything is running smoothly and better than before. Shoutout to Mitch and Justin (Farmington waddup), for being awesome and answering any questions I had. I 100% recommend Midland! Also to note the quote was one of the more adorable ones I received but Dan's expertise and how nice he was is what sold me.

I shopped around for someone to do the Heating, Ventilation, and Cooling (HVAC) Safety Check required of rental owners by the City of Minneapolis, and Midland's quote was second lowest I found, at $165 (low $159, high $289). The reviews here were very positive, so I made an appointment for a week out, with Jared assigned as my tech. Jared called the morning of to tell me he was on his way, arrived on time, was very courteous, and did an excellent job. I'm an engineer so I feel I have some insight into his work and he seems to really know his stuff. With the first-time Google offer the rate was even more reasonable ($132), but after this experience I'll call these folks again even without the Google offer. Kudos!

I have been having issues with my AC for months. I purchased a warranty when I bought my townhome from a bank (FYI never do this, what a pain in the arse it has been). After playing phone tag with my warranty company and their approved vendor for over 2 months they did not cover the improperly installed unit in my home. Kyle Buscher is a very knowledgeable technician and does excellent work. He has no problems explaining what is going on. I don't know the first thing about ACs and even I had a general understanding of what was going on. All problems were immediately resolved as soon as we turned the air on after he replaced my refrigerant line and my coils. I highly recommend Midland for your HVAC needs, particularly Kyle. Excellent work.

The technician who came and inspected the furnace offered a lot of information and was friendly. After that, I had to get an statement from Midland Heating to write a statement to supplement a housing inspection report. Midland was extremely helpful, patient, and expedient in dealing with the inspector and their demands. I highly recommend them.
