We contacted contacted 3 HVAC companies prior to finding Mesaba Heating and A/C. I started this process in November of 2021 in hopes of having mini split units installed for the summer of 2022. All 3 companies were prompt in scheduling appointments to view the job but 2 of them failed to even provide an estimate even after repeated calls and promises to email me a quote. The 3rd company gave a quote so high I could have build an additional on my house for the cost. In October of this year I contacted Mesaba. What a breath of fresh air! I filled out a request for a quote online and within an hour I had a call to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Randy stopped to look at the job. He was very friendly, helpful and professional and before he left I had my quote. The price was great, I accepted the quote and an installation time was scheduled. Mesaba called a couple of days prior to installation to confirm our appointment. On the day of installation, Harry and John came as scheduled. They looked the job over and give me their recommendations. They were friendly and courteous and did a phenomenal job. The units look great and preform beyond our expectations. Mesaba also accepted a credit card for payment with no additional cost. I would HIGHLY recommend Mesaba Heating and A/C because they service the customer like it should be done.

Calling mesaba heating one because they are close. Also my son used them and had nothing but good things to say about them. All I want was a furnace check up. They asked when I called how old it was. When I told them 10 years old with no problems. The appointment was made. When the technician came to check the furnace he put on shoe protection. Looking at the furnace and showing me about what he was doing and asking me is there any questions. He answered all questions I asked. Made me feel at ease that the furnace was good to go. A couple of days later I noticed the furnace was not staying lite.I called them and told them what was going on. The person on the phone told me first check the air vent to see if it covered with snow. She was right about all the snow that fell over night. I'm glad she saved me money and what to look for if it happens again.

Friendly, professional, conscientious, answered all of our questions, and left the work area cleaner than it was. We could not have had a better experience. Had a mini split installed on my boat in property on lake Vermilion. These guys came highly recommended by others on the lake. I was very impressed. The sales staff actually saved me money. I thought I'd need a larger system. He could have easily said ok and let me spend a few thousand dollars more. Installation date was within 3 weeks of sale, very fast. Communication was great with myself and my electrician. Installation crew was very thorough and very informative. They worked quickly and cleaned everything up nicely. The office staff even had my power company rebate paperwork filled out for me. I could not be happier or more satisfied. Im almost sad that its not in the 90's.

We were having an issue with our AC/furnace system so we didn’t have AC. I contacted Mesaba heating & air conditioning and they were able to send a repairman that day. The gentleman was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose the problem immediately. Unfortunately, our blower motor was damaged beyond repair but he had a new motor in his vehicle. He was able to replace it the same day. Within a couple of hours he had our AC up and running. I cannot thank him enough! We will be using them again for any future maintenance and repair needs.

Our Furnace only needed some replacement parts After a different company told us it needed to be completely replaced. Saved us a ton of money, it was very cost-effective and great service. Very thankful that they could replace everything the next day as this happened in the winter. Would definitely recommend to anybody that asks

Josh came to my house to do the annual maintenance on my AC & furnace. He explained everything he was doing in layman's terms. He was not rushed & did a very thorough job. Josh was very friendly & knowledgeable. He has a nice personality & is a great tech! I feel very confident that my AC & furnace are in good running condition with Josh doing the maintenance!! Apparently the initial install was not done correctly and the electrical service install was delayed for 6 weeks. So since no start up or testing of the system was done initially I called to request an inspection. Well there was water all over the floor since the condensate pump was installed incorrectly and several wires were attached errantly. I credit the service man for recognizing the defects an correcting them. Fortunately the system appears to be repaired since we are in the middle of the heating system. Despite the install deficiency, we recommend Mesaba Heating & Conditioning since all other services provided have been first rate.

We called them because we had yellow jackets in a venting duct, and needed it replaced. After the bees were taken care of by a pest company, Mesaba came and replaced the venting tube. We also had them clean our air ducts. They arrived promptly, and during the visit, the technician kept me informed the entire day. He was so professional, and explained everything to me, and listened to my questions and concerns kindly. From the moment I called regarding the beehive in the vent, they were very patient and professional. Their customer service and appreciation is a breath of fresh air. Thank you so much for everything you helped our family with.

Was the only place I called that I actually reached someone on the first call and was able to make an appointment for the next day to repair our central air. Technician Chris was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly (it matters who comes in your home for repairs, especially when you have toddlers and a dog). From scheduling, to appointment to billing, all went well.

My Honeywell T10 thermostat would not connect to my Wi-Fi network. Brandon came and spent two hours troubleshooting and fixing it. He even brought a new one but that did not work. Turns out it needed a new update that came out before I got my Wi-Fi network up and running. So Brandon got it hooked into his tablet Wi-Fi and eventually got the update downloaded. Honeywell did not make it easy to do this but he got it done! Now it works great and I can turn up the heat from my bed, or wherever in the world.

Cory the tech was very friendly and performed maintenance on my furnace. In the process he explained what he did and pointed out an issue with my propane pressure and corrected it. He also promoted a solace air filtration system (which I am interested in) and setup with a conference call with Randy to discuss air conditioning vs heat pump. He also determined that my heat exchanger has a recall on it.

The staff were professional & friendly. I give three stars because the $79 "Tune-up" special turned out to be a "safety check". The service men said we needed to pay extra to clean the furnace fan & burner. Next time I'll know to ask what "Tune-up" means when I call for an appointment.

They showed up on time for the appointment. It turned out that I needed a new fan for my furnace. They ordered a new one. They showed up on time for the installation of the new fan. I called around to get an idea on the cost on a new fan and labor. Their price seems to be around the same as everybody else’s. They were very easy and pleasant to work with. What else can you as for? They were perfect.
