Our A/C died on us earlier this year in June when we had a stretch of high 90s days and we were pretty desperate to find a company to help us out. LaSalle was able to beat the competitor's pricing in the area and man did we luck out. Not only did Charlie come to our house the very next day to look at what we needed, we had our entire heating and cooling system replaced within the next 3 days! 5 months later, I am super happy with the Bryant system they installed - very quiet and efficient! On top of that, I couldn't be happier with the technicians/installers that came to our house. They were extremely professional, friendly, and I could tell that they took pride in their work. I am probably one of the pickiest customers there are, but the guys did everything just the way I imagined it and worked very cleanly and installed the system so it looks nice and neat! In sum, if your looking for a reliable team that knows what they're doing and delivers a quality product, LaSalle should definitely be on your radar!

I can't say enough positives for this company! Our heat went out in the dead cold of winter and Max with LaSalle was our guy! Replaced a 19.5 year old furnace with a new Bryant high efficiency natural gas furnace and smart system thermostat. Added a new Lennox whole-house air purification system with the furnace. I also had a thermostatically controlled gas heater installed in our garage. Very pleased with Charlie and all three members of the installation crew. All very helpful and professional. Highly recommended!

We had used LaSalle in the past for a couple things, but this past weekend was great. Our furnace (20+ years old) was on its way out. With a baby, we need heat, so we had to pay for an emergency tech visit on Saturday. Charlie came within an hour, found the issue quickly, and gave us our options. We decided to go with a new furnace. He got us quotes on Monday. I called to discuss which furnace and humidifier we wanted, and they came the next morning and installed everything. He even built the $250 emergency service charge into the price of the new furnace + installation. Crew was friendly and arrived inside the window they said they would. Took about 7 hours to install everything (new pipes had to be run) and the furnace works great. We won’t be using a different company.

LaSalle HVAC should be your first go to for any HVAC problem. I've used them in the past and have yet to have even a minor complaint. They are professionals in the truest sense of the word. They keep you updated on the status of your call, let you know service call fees up front and really know what they are doing.
Had my heater go out on New Years day. Called them around 8:00 AM. By 1:30, the heater was fixed and Charlie went over it to make sure it was correct. Even fixed a few things, no charge.

There is no one better than LaSalle Heating and Air Conditioning. We went through a few bad apples with our home warranty, but since we found LaSalle, we couldn’t be happier. They do the job quickly and honestly. They never pressure you to buy a new furnace or a/c, but they give helpful recommendations if you are considering it. Max has been to our home twice now- once last year for an a/c issue and once this year for a furnace issue. Both times he was very professional and kind, and he fully explained everything he was doing. It feels really nice to know we are in good hands no matter what day or time we call.

I have been pleased with LaSalle since the very first time I needed their service about 6 years ago when my ac unit went out and it was during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. Charlie came out and he worked so hard to get a new system put in and it wasn't easy because there were some complications that required a great deal of work. Nonetheless, he did it and we've been pleased ever since. However, this past weekend we had a scare and I thought my ac had froze up and maybe even quit. Called them on a Saturday and funny as it is, I ended up talking to Charlie again. He explained what he thought it might be and we decided to wait it out until Monday. Monday came and he was at my house and after it was all said and done, he reassured me there were no problems and due to some current house updates and all the debris my filter had clogged the airflow and it basically froze up. He then made sure everything was running smoothly and gave me guidance as how to care for my ac unit going forward.
I can't thank LaSalle and Charlie enough. Great service and company!! I know that no matter what, I have comfort and care with LaSalle!!

LaSalle Heating and Air Conditioning is awesome!! I had to have my furnace and air conditioner both replaced. I had three different companies come out and give me estimates and talk to me. It was an easy choice once Charlie came out and did my estimate. He answered all my questions and explained it in terms I could understand and I was very impressed by him. Charlie came back with Max and Ryan and installed them, they were so careful not to track anything in or out. They helped me set up my thermostat and showed me how to use it.
I have never been so impressed by a company and their people. I recommend them all the time now.

I highly recommend using LaSalle if you need any help with your heating or air conditioning systems. They are professional, knowledgeable, and will give you an honest assessment of what needs to be done. If you are debating on who to call for service or need a quote on a new system do yourself a favor and call LaSalle.
Max came out to give me a second opinion on an issue we were having with our AC, which a different company told me we needed to replace the entire system (AC and Furnace). Max performed an inspection on the both the AC and Heating systems. He found we had a cracked heat exchanger that he showed me on the camera, but the AC system was simply low on charge. Max got our AC back up and running that day. We did end up needing to replace the 30 year old furnace. Kenzie and Max helped me work with my insurance company (which the insurance company made difficult) and they were extremely helpful by submitting all necessary documentation required by the insurance company.
On the day of installation Kevin and Miguel arrived on time they were professional, informed me on how to work the system, answered all my questions, and cleaned up their work area. From start to finish the entire team was extremely easy to work with, and they are competitive in pricing compared with other companies I got quotes from.

I asked for an AC diagnosis and the tech (Max) came out and looked over everything. Max didn't end up finding anything wrong with the AC, but took the time to walk me through everything he was looking at and explained why he felt there was no issue. I had asked if our AC unit was sized right for the house and Max didn't try to upsell me a new unit. He checked the home's square footage on the county website, noted what size unit would be recommended for that size and confirmed that I had appropriate coverage. Additionally the business is setup where they send you a picture of the tech ahead of time and a tracking email so that you know when they will arrive. It was just a really professional operation. Highly recommended.

The great people at LaSalle Heating and AC came to our home today. We had issues with our furnace overnight. I called at 7am and expected to leave a message, but was greeted by the owner who informed me they would have someone out in a few hours. The technician assigned to our account got held up at another job so the owner filled in and took care of our issue in less than 30 minutes. How many companies will go that far out of their way to keep their schedule? Very impressed - LaSalle will be our first call for any future HVAC needs we have.

LaSalle Heating and A/C. will always be my first choice, and my top recommendation. My furnace went out on a Sunday morning. I called my “service plus” vendor for help at 9:00 am. A technician finally came at 1:35 AM Monday morning, only to tell me my furnace was not repairable—it was now 2:00 AM and my house was 48 degrees! I called LaSalle Heating and A/C first thing Monday morning. Within hours, Scott was at my home to take a look at the furnace and provide an estimate for a new one. He took the time to walk me through the best options for me, found rebates and programs that saved me hundreds of dollars, and helped me with setting up financing. They were ready to install the next day, and I couldn’t have been happier with Charlie and team who did the install. They were so kind, polite, and thorough. They walked me through everything they did, showed me how to care for and operate the system, and left the area in immaculate condition.I am so grateful for a company that is trustworthy, dependable, and one who so highly values its customers and what they experience. In November LaSalle replaced our furnace and recently replaced our air conditioner. The service people were professional and knowledgeable and completed both jobs efficiently. Charlie provided instructions on how to run both units clearly and easy to understand. Even though they aren't the cheapest, they are definitely ethical, knowledgeable and provide expert service to their customers.

LaSalle is amazing and went beyond the extra mile. Our 29 year old AC wasn't working on Memorial Day weekend, when family was coming over. I called around 7am on Sunday morning and Scott, the owner, answered immediately. They didn't have an install date available for about 3 weeks, so he came out himself later that day, even though they were booked solid, to add Freon (FOR FREE) just to make sure we could get some relief from the heat that weekend.
3 weeks later his team came out, consisting of his sons and other skilled installers and they were amazing all around. They cleaned up a mess left from the old coils and did a fantastic job installing the new AC/furnace and made recommendations for the new thermostat as well. We also needed a PVC pipe installed for the efficient unit and they recommended the most difficult option for them because it would look the cleanest and "that's what they would want if it was their house". That's all you can ask for in my opinion. I would recommend them to anyone. I called them because I only saw 5 star reviews online and now understand why. I will be a customer for life.

They have been in business in the Twin Cities for a long time and they understand which appliances work best and last the longest in this locality. From the moment I contacted them to the day of the install I was very impressed with how they responded to meet my needs. Their technician Max really knows his stuff. He helped me to understand things in a way that really made sense. He answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident that I had made all of the right choices. Max and Cole did a great job installing my new furnace and a/c. Handled a few unexpected items quickly, but thoughtfully. The setup looks like they took great care in getting it “just so”, and took initiative to handle things I wouldn’t have thought they would (sweeping up utility space, moving the drain hose to look and function better) Max was thorough when he did the walk through of the new setup and left me with zero questions. Scott met with me initially and was also great to work with, could’ve easily over sold me, but didn’t. And Kenzie in the office has handled a ton of my phone/email inquiries quickly and very pleasantly. All in all, glad I chose LaSalle and hope for much of the same in the future!

Woke up this morning to discover that our furnace hadn't been running since about 10pm the night before. I quickly called LaSalle Heating and Air, since they offered 24 hour service and were one of the highest rated service providers in my area. Scott was prompt with his time frame and was able to quickly diagnose the issue with the furnace. He let me know that it would be a simple fix - which I had to clarify, because that was music to my (and I'm sure any homeowner's) ears! After fixing the dirty flame sensor, he showed me how I could troubleshoot it on my own in the future. Before leaving, he ensured the furnace was operating properly and buttoned everything back up. Only after I had inquired about other services did he mention the great deal they offer for annual servicing, which I greatly appreciated! Scott was straight to the point and didn't try to sell me on anything I wasn't interested in.
I will definitely be calling Scott and his team again in the future for any heating and A/C service we may need! 10/10 would recommend to friends.

Our furnace went out on Friday. Charlie was at the house within 45 minutes of our calling LaSalle. He was professional with his assessment of the situation and presentation of our options. He e-mailed us several quotes to consider Friday night so we could make our decision on Saturday. Charlie rearranged his Monday schedule to help sign us up for financing and by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday he and his team had installed a new high efficiency furnace with humidifier. Great experience! We were new to the area and LaSalle came over for a furnace check/tune up. After the work was completed, Charlie took the time to review the function and application for not just the furnace but also the humidifier, air exchanger and zone heating system. I went on Nextdoor and asked for advice on who to come out and install a new furnace and air conditioner for me. One of the top recommendations was for LaSalle Heating and Air. Max came out and asked some good questions about what I was looking for and then emailed me 3 options. I followed up with Kenzi at the office for any questions I had about the estimates. I ended up going with LaSalle over the 2 other companies I had come out to do bids. I felt like they had the most value for my money along with the best units. The 2 gentlemen who did the install were very polite and even found a gas leak to a standalone garage heater which they fixed for free! The only problem I incurred was that one of the wires wasn't hooked up correctly. My air conditioner kept running all the time. I got up early the next day and called Kenzi. She contacted Max and even though he was fully booked for the day, he made time to come out and look at it. He found the problem right away and fixed it immediately. I've had no problems since. And I love the new thermostat, furnace and AC! Overall these guys are a 5 in my book.

These guys are great! They arrived within 1.5 hrs of calling when my furnace went out on sub zero day. Quickly diagnosed the issue and left several space heaters while they made another service call and tried to find the part. They made several phone calls to find it and were back within a few hours to install. Furnace works great now, price was right and service was outstanding. I can not thank LaSalle enough for saving us what could have been thousands of dollars to repair.
We had another company out to tune up our furnace because it had not been looked at since living in our current home. This other company leave us with a quote of repairs between $1,100-$3,000, red tagged our furnace and turned off the heat while I had young children in the house and then left.
My father who is a contractor said to get another opinion so my husband looked around and found LaSalle who services on Bryant (brand we have). I gave them a call and told them my situation. I wasn't expecting to get someone out until the next day but the gentleman who was so kind told me they could get someone out by 3pm, I was so grateful for this!
My husband came home from work early to discuss with the technician from LaSalle. We handed the paperwork that the other company gave us and right away he said something didn’t seem right. The technician went on to take a look at the furnace and my husband stayed down there to discuss things and make small talk (unfortunately I do not remember our technicians name but he was super cool about everything and was bluntly honest).
After looking into more what the other company was quoting he said your furnace is working properly for being 16 years old and there was NOTHING wrong with it. He did say it might be a good idea to get a new furnace but didn't pressure us to getting one right there and then; something down the road to think about.
Overall, I am very happy that they saved us and gave us the absolute honest opinions and not trying to sell us anything. LaSalle is a company I will recommend to those looking into doing a fine tuning and small repairs. I can not thank you guys enough.

This is the second time that we've interacted with LaSalle Heating this year: once in January for our furnace (it turned out to be a thermostat issue) and now in July, for our air conditioning. We've been very pleased with their quick response, accurate diagnosis and repair. After listening to our description of the air conditioning issues, Max and Cole knew immediately to check our outside unit. There they found a mouse nest, which they cleaned out, checked all the wiring and replaced the contact box. We would definitely call on this company again, for any future needs.

During the heatwave (Week of June 7th) when no other company would and I bet I called over 20! They made time for me! My air conditioner died and it reached over 100 in the house. They made every effort to fix my air, even calling the manufacturer. It was not meant to be. They were able replace my air the same week and had a great finance option! The tech's were great!

We weren’t at all happy that we had to spend a lot of money replacing our 23-year-old broken furnace and air-conditioner, but LaSalle helped us through the process quickly and somewhat painlessly. Woke up on a Sunday morning to find out our furnace had quit during the night (with temps around 0 degrees). We had space heaters on in some of the rooms, but the house was getting very cold. I actually spent a few hours online, both researching the potential cause with our old furnace, and trying to determine who best to contact that could respond on a Sunday. I decided on LaSalle, because they had so many 5 -star reviews (across multiple websites) and because both their site and other user's reviews led me to believe that they also cared about providing an affordable solution.
After my exceptional experience with them, I had to write a review to state how happy I am that I chose to call them. Max returned my call within 20 minutes, and after I had explained what the furnace was doing, he quickly and correctly diagnosed the cause, and walked me through how to try to fix it myself. The culprit was a dirty flame sensor, and within minutes, the furnace was working properly again, saving me the expense of an emergency service call.
A company like this is very hard to find these days, and I cannot state how thankful I am. I strongly recommend LaSalle, and will be choosing to work with them for any future heating and AC needs that arise.

I definitely recommend LaSalle Heating and Air Conditioning. I had issues with my furnace shutting off randomly which would lead to me waking up to a freezing house. Max came out and determined it was a bad flame sensor which he changed out and the furnace has been running perfectly ever since. Max was very knowledgeable and gave me a bunch of good information. Very happy with my experience and I will continue to use LaSalle in the future.

I did my homework and read several other companies’ reviews before I called LaSalle. LaSalle was highly rated and friendly over the phone so we had them come out and provide an estimate. Now, I’m joining the other reviewers to tell you JUST how fabulous they are. Scott (the owner) and his two sons came out on a Saturday to install an A/C unit because we were expecting temps in the mid 90’s for the long Memorial holiday weekend. They were prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, caring, honest, and just downright the nicest folks you’ll ever meet. On top of that....FAIRLY PRICED. Hands down, this should be your ONLY call for heating and cooling needs! Customer for life.

Fantastic and Fast Service! My A/C went out and I searched for an a/c repair in my area and saw LaSalle had one of the highest ratings. Now I can see why. I called at 8:30a on a Friday and was able to get a repairman the same day. Max came around and had the issue resolved in about 10 minutes. He went above and beyond the call of duty and helped educate me about cleaning and general maintenance of my a/c unit, which I totally appreciated. This is the most exceptional company and group of people I have ever dealt with. Name any category: professionalism, personalities, promptness, patience, skill, experience, integrity, quality of product, advice, cost and the list goes on. They are the BEST! There is just no downside. Our very old furnace went out on a weekend (of course), did a google search and with 145 (5 star) reviews, I was on the phone with Max 2 minutes later on a Saturday, who most importantly provided me with all the reassurances I needed. Very very informative and helpful. He provide the greatest first impression of a company I have ever run into.
We have a geothermal heat source, but if temperatures drop severely it can't keep up. We use our gas furnace as a back up to it. Charlie came out on Monday and after talking to him extensively he came up with a plan and we had a new furnace on Wed. Otherwise it would have been Tuesday. They had to wait on my schedule. We have "issues" with our household that certainly made the physical aspects of their job more difficult - 3 large (too friendly) dogs, a detached garage, a fenced yard and a lot of doors to negotiate. Nothing but smiles from Cole and Ryan who did most of the heavy work. Even Max came out for a bit and I got to meet him. I have since read even more of the google reviews and trust me, nothing is exaggerated. These people, La Salle Heating and air conditioning, are simply the best. After meeting Charlie and Max, I wish I could deal with them for EVERY household issue that comes up, and as all homeowners know, far too many difficult issues do come up. This was by far the most exceptional experience I have ever had with a company. They manage to make what is not usually a happy experience for homeowners as stress-free an experience as it can possibly be. I will turn to them every time and tell anyone who asks, that La Salle is my first and last choice. Our rooftop furnace went out last week at my place of business. I called Lasalle Heating and Air and within hours, they were out on the roof assessing the situation. Charlie told us we would need parts which may be hard to find (the unit was 25 years old) but that we should hear from him by the end of the day. Scott sent a quote to either repair or replace and my boss decided to go with a replacement. Max was out bright and early this morning and within a couple hours we were good to go! I can't say enough good things about LaSalle. I called them at 10pm on a Friday night about a broken air conditioner. I expected an answering machine, but they answered (very friendly). A technician called me back within a half hour, and they were at my house by 10am the next day. I received an email and text confirmation. And another text prior to the technician, Charlie, arriving. The text contained a photo of Charlie along with a bio including his professional experience and even some hobbies. Charlie was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He took the time to walk us through everything, and make sure we understood the issue and resolution, and that everything was working before he left. I will never call another heating or air conditioning company besides Lasalle again. My experience with them was second to none. My furnace quit working yesterday and I tried what I could to try to fix I but was not successful. So at 10:00 PM I called Lasalle and Scott said he could send someone out right then or the next morning. I chose the next morning at 7:00AM and Max showed up exactly on time. He was extremely friendly and more than helpful. Within 5 minutes he told me what was wrong and gave me my OPTIONS. The part that was bad could be replaced for $260 according to Max. My other option would be to replace the furnace. My furnace is from 1991 so I realize it could be on it's last leg. He explained to me that based on the fact that I only plan on living in my house for another 5 years, it may make sense to replace the furnace so I get to experience the benefits of a new furnace rather than replacing it right before I sell the house. He explained different options of furnaces and the benefits of them all but NEVER once pressured me into a decision of either repairing my current furnace or replacing it. I felt like I was given all of the facts and a professional suggestion but then without any complications, able to make my own decision. I chose to repair the furnace with the idea that based on his recommendation I will replace it in a year or so once I can save for it. He ordered the part and called me 2 hours later and asked when I wanted him to put it in. I said I was at work until 6 that night so the next day would work but he was more than willing to turn his work day into a 12 hour day to come back that night and get my heat working again. His diagnosis was correct and by 6:30 my heat was working. What my experience came down to was, Lasalle is beyond honest, friendly, hardworking, skilled, timely, and hands down the best heating and A/C company you could deal with. I never once felt pressured like I worried I would when picking a company to fix my furnace but I was given expert advice and that is all I could have asked for. Thank you Max and Lasalle heating and AC. I'll call you when it's time to replace the furnace or if I have any issues before then.

Well I write a lot of reviews for google because I go out probably way to much to eat and drink....nevertheless this review is one of the companies/products that actually deserve it, so much so I used my computer to write it. We got estimates from 5 companies -6 including our service plan provider for a new furnace. LaSalle was not the cheapest of all of them one other came in cheaper. But LaSalle provided the best answers and explained the process the best. My wife handled most of the meetings and one thing she noticed is that all of the companies except Lasalle kept asking does she need to wait to talk to her husband and didn't feel comfortable dealing with her. She really appreciated the respect Lasalle gave her. We ended up going with them and from the time they arrived they were purely professional.
Charlie did most of the talking and installing ...he was assisted by joel and max. Charlie was very knowledgeable and explained things in lay terms. They respected our home and didn't make a mess or damage anything. side note a big plus is they liked our dogs...a lot of service companies make you lock them up but they were cool with them being out in their home.
They showed us how to use and service our product. All and all we were very pleased with the company and product. They also have the best financing program we saw out of all the competitors if you were to need it. I recommend them to anyone. Thank you guys!

I called over the Thanksgiving weekend after normal business hours with a boiler problem. For some reason my repair request did not make it to the tech on duty. Scott called me and apologized after reviewing the message/call into the company. I had fixed the minor problem myself but still wanted to make sure that the repairs I did were correct. He offered to come out and do a complete tune up and check of the system for free. His son Max came out, checked and ran several tests on the boiler. All was fine and come to find out we had a lot in common in the fact that both of our fathers had started companies and we went on to follow in their footsteps. Not many companies have so many five star reviews and Scott's follow up call to me was huge and now I know the reason for all of the five star ratings. Charlie did a great job of explaining what was going on with our furnace and AC during a maintenance checkup. He did all he could to optimize the life that our 22 year old AC unit may have left. He took his time and explained everything he was doing in terms that I could understand without coming off as talking down to me. I was disappointed that it wasn't LaSalle's policy to have its techs wearing a mask or at least ask if we preferred they did.

Wow! I was so impressed with Lasalle Heating and Air and their exceptional customer service skills. After MANY horrible exchanges with my home warranty company regarding my furance, I finally gave up and contacted Lasalle Heating and Air to see if they would come take a look at my furnace to give me an educated opinion about what needed to be done (it was old and not igniting). I wasn't getting a straight answer from the representatives that were being sent to me from my home warranty company and with something like a furnace, I needed to know the truth. It is a matter of safety.
I called Lasalle at the recommendation of a friend who had recently used them for a furnace and AC install and had been pleased. When I called to set up the appointment just for someone to come look at it, the person that answered the phone was a delight. He easily was able to schedule someone to come out the next morning at 8:00 a.m. Charlie arrived and was instantly personable. I shared the horrible experience I had already had and he certainly showed sympathy that I had already had to deal with such incompetence from the other company. He didn't need much time to determine that my furance was shot. He explained much of the problem to me in regular English so he was sure that I understood.
He sat me down and explained my options and gave me detailed estimates for a brand new system. He told me that he certainly would understand if I wanted to get other estimates, but if I chose to go with them, all I needed to do was to call them and they would set it up. I spent no time or energy getting another opinion. I immediately knew this was the company that I wanted to use.
The day of the install, Charlie and Max showed up to do all of the work. They were both super personable, polite, professional and made sure I knew exactly what was going on. They had my new furnace and AC all set up in a matter of a few hours. They showed me how to use the new system as well as showing me that they had posted information and their phone number right near the new furnace should I have any additional questions. The entire time they were in my home, they felt like family.
Both Charlie and Max made what could have been a miserable experience a delightful one. I have never written a review for anything before, but I absolutely felt the need to express my gratitude and appreciation through this review. Of course we had an air conditioner go out one of the hottest days in August, in a panic I called a friend asking for a referral he suggested LaSalle Heating and Air Conditioning. He stated they are a great company and will treat you right. I called in a panic, spoke with Kenzie. She had a person their the next day. Unfortunately, the air conditioner had seen its better days. After communicating with Scott the owner we decided to replace the air conditioner and furnace because of some good rebate options available and they both had seen better days.
This was going to take a few days so they immediately brought in portable air conditioning units to cool the house down. He then taught me how to check some of the easy things, framed up how the purchase of a new furnace will go and taught me about the brands. Of all the things to wake up to, a carbon monoxide alarm has to be one of the most unpleasant. They are LIFE SAVERS! I had another company come out to inspect our broken AC, and they told me the repairs would be like $2300 and would be better to get a new unit. They also "included" a furnace inspection, and they told us we needed a new furnace too - over $9000 of needed work!! I made an emergency call tonight because my furnace stopped running. It was 42 degrees in my house when I got home from work and my pipes were freezing. They came out immediately. It ended up being an easy fix. He examined what happened. Showed me how my furnace is not up to code...that's another story...and showed me what to do if this happens again. To start, this is the first google review I have ever posted but I felt compelled to author this after my air conditioner suddenly stopped working about a month ago and after quickly researching reviews I chose to call LaSalle heating and cooling and couldn’t be happier I did. Between my wife and I, we have very demanding work schedules and facilitating a day at home can be extremely difficult. The long story is below; the short story is that I had my entire HVAC system replaced, which was unfortunate (but no fault of the company) and it was the best customer experience I’ve ever had with any in home improvement/service company and I can’t say enough good things about Scott and his team.
The first time I contacted LaSalle it was around 8AM on a weekday, the owner answered and was polite and professional; let me know he’d be out within an hour which pleasantly surprised me and was appreciated given the aforementioned difficulties my wife and I have missing work. True to his word, he showed up within his quoted window and began troubleshooting immediately. Within about an hour, Scott broke the bad news to me that the AC unit (15 years old) was beyond repair. He thoroughly explained what was wrong with it, and gave me a few options ranging from temporary solutions to full replacement. Scott was extremely informative, and did not take a salesperson attitude or approach to our problem. He was extremely respectful as I consulted with my wife (and friends/family) about the options and pricing and gave time and space to make a decision.
Ultimately, we decided it would be safest and most financially sound in the long run to replace both the AC and furnace units, so I called Scott back and within a couple hours, he was right back at our house and helped me pick out the right units that fit our needs and explained all the differences (initial price, energy savings, rebates, etc.) between what seemed like a million options. Again, there was ZERO pressure or upselling attempted. On the contrary, he explained his experiences with some of the more expensive/complicated units that may be overkill for the size of our home. He explained he would not be able to come back and install it for about a week, which involved me taking another day off work and my wife (and dogs) suffering through 90+ degree days, or so I thought. Scott worked to schedule the installation on a day that I was already off of work and as an added courtesy; he refilled our broken AC unit with enough refrigerants to last us until then without charge (about 200-300 dollars from my research) so we weren’t uncomfortable in the interim.
A week later, 2 of Scott’s employees showed up exactly when he said they would and got to work immediately. Unfortunately I cannot remember their names, but they too were extremely professional and respectful of our house. They asked questions to ensure the units were placed and setup to our liking, and gave us a complete tutorial of all the new equipment and best practices with any HVAC system. After they had finished, they let me know to give them a call when I was ready to pay and they would come back with the paperwork for rebates, registration.
At the time they collected payment (again, they catered to my schedule), they also provided some high quality filters and installed a wifi/smart thermostat my wife and I had picked out and were super knowledgeable and gave us a detailed tutorial on how to use it from the panel as well as our cell phones. They also brought us our rebate and registration forms, essentially ready to mail.
In summation, as stated above, I had an outstanding experience with this great local business owner. I’ve highly recommended him to friends, family and coworkers and will be a lifelong customer. Thanks again Scott!

When our furnace went out in the new house we bought, we called someone else initially who said they didn't know what was wrong, couldn't fix it, and that we needed to buy a new furnace, then collected their money for showing up and left again. We called lasalle and max came and fixed it up and showed us what was wrong and didn't even charge us after hearing what we'd already gone through that day. He and my husband geeked out over furnace technology and our old furnace has gone out a couple of times since and max has come over and fixed it up again for us. We're going to have to bite the bullet and replace it soon and we will certainly hope to work with lasalle to get that done. It is rare to have great service these days, but these people pull it off.

It's like having the "Dr. House" of HVAC systems come over! My furnace was out in the middle of winter and I had previously had 2 other guys come take a look at it and both times it was misdiagnosed. I've used Lasalle twice. Last year around Thanksgiving our furnace went out and they came out right away. The part wasn't in stock anywhere in MN, so they lent us space heaters for the night and came back the next day with the part they had delivered from Wisconsin. Then the other day we had a leak in our AC, and Max and Charlie fixed that right away too. Hopefully that's the end of my HVAC issues, but if not I know who to call.

Lost heat Sunday night (2/3/19). Did some research on blink codes and determined I needed a pro. Called LaSalle at 6:45 am this morning. Talked to Scott and he had Max out to my place at 8:00 am. Max knew right where to look. Cleaned out a pressure sensor tube and exercised the sensors. Had everything running in less than a half hour. So impressed! I'm one of those guys who RARELY calls a contractor or repairman--and even then it's got to be critical and unfixable by me. I almost always feel I got screwed--overcharged and underserviced. NOT so with these guys... And I paid extra (weekend and emergency rates!)
My kids had tried to get an AC repairman out to our house in Burnsville for weeks. They were told everybody was booked out because of the the July heat wave, or that company didn't service Burnsville--if they could talk to a human at all!
Imagine my surprise, after a couple of the above responses, when a very personable, pleasant and professional young lady answered my heat-wave (and frustrated with children) call on a Saturday afternoon! Not only that, offered to send somebody over right away! Wonderful! Charlie the repairman (also very pleasant, courteous and professional) showed up 15 minutes later, and in short order, diagnosed and fixed my problem!
Yes they charged me rather exorbitant weekend/emergency rates, but they explained and OK'd all costs up front and as the work progressed, so I was very comfortable with the costs and reasoning... Especially in view of the fact that they came out on short notice, on a weekend, when I needed them most, when nobody else would help me, and ACTUALLY FIXED MY PROBLEM! Worth every penny.

Mulling around the house one day I realized it was warmer than usual. I check the register and to my dismay it was not blowing cool air. Charlie and Miguel were our technicians, though I think Miguel was in training. He has a good mentor in Charlie ( who I thought was Charlie from the the TV show "Always Sunny in Philedelphia at first since he looks just like him). Our furnace was not blowing at full speed and was shutting off without fully heating. Charlie spent at least an hour diagnosing the problem correctly and determined we needed two parts, one of which was quite EXPENSIVE. I thought that the Warranty had expired as the furnace was ten years old but Charlie went the extra mile and convinced Lennox to give us the parts at no charge. They came back immediately after the parts arrived and installed them. Our furnace works optimally now and just in time for another LONG and COLD Minnesota winter. Charlie saved us a price of a new furnace which could have cost us thousands of dollars. LaSalle and Charlie are ethical and very professional. We gave the young men some apples from our trees as special treat for a job well done.
