I can't express how lucky Countryside Heating and Cooling is to have someone as nice, respectful, and professional as Mr. Mike Wilson. I've been working with Mike for 3 years now and everytime he puts a huge smile on my face. Today's service was a quick Furnace Tune-up. As Mike was going through his check and balances he noticed an issue with my humidifier. Mike made me aware of the replacement cost which I approved of. As he was going to install this replacement product mike noticed it actually wasn't broken and instead a simple adjustment was all that was needed. Mike could have charged me $300 and i would have had no idea. I would have paid and never knew. Mike instead made me aware that no replacement was needed and saved me $300. All this said.....please make sure ownership/management acknowledges everything Mike brings to CSHC and your customers. Countryside Heating Cooling is a phenomenal company and I've been very happy. People ike Mike is why I continue to come back. Good people and talent is hard to come by these days. I look forward to working with CSHC and Mike the next 10+ years :)

Great until we found water on the floor around the furnace and a leaking valve they put in for the humidifier. The duct cleaning left dropping on our hall way rug that has ruined it. Overall it has been a good experience. All we need now is for someone to come out and fix what should have never happened to begin with.

Countryside installed my Mini Split AC system so it looks top flight. Asked me questions to make sure they installed it in the correct positions Left everything cleaned up. ...... Secondarily, there was a challenge that needed to be troubleshot and fixed. After I called Countryside they sent Tony out the next day. Tony, is an 11 year AC specialist that had the problem / hookup straightened out fairly quickly. Now I am cooling wonderfully. These Mini Split AC units are amazing.

Our furnace fan seized up, so the AC had to be turned off in hot, humid July. We contacted CenterPoint Service Plus and they were 3 weeks out! Our call to Countryside was answered promptly and professionally. Countryside scheduled next morning service and kept us informed when our technician would arrive. Michael was very professional, replace the fan promptly, and checked that all systems were working properly. We are very satisfied customers and will call Countryside in the future.

A/C went out week on June 22nd. Called Countryside and spoke with Maggie. Repair was scheduled for the same day. Tony came out and quickly diagnosed our problem (fan out) and advised that our A/C unit was 19 years old. I verified this fact on manufacture’s website. Not wanting to it for a repair in this old of a unit, I called Maggie again and asked for a quote for a new unit. Lance provided a quote for 3 options: good, better and best units. - the next day. I called another A/C provider to get a second quote. Prices were comparable so I called Lance back and was able to schedule install for Tuesday, June 30. Countryside loaned us 2 portable A/C units to keep 2 bedrooms cool over the weekend as it was hot. We could have had more units but didn’t need that many. Hunter arrived at our home at 6:50AM for a 7 AM appointment. The new A/C unit was delivered and I checked the model number to make sure we we’re getting what we were paying for. They had delivered the highest model unit (best) when we and we had ordered the next lower unit (better). Hunter explained that with COVID-19 they were experiencing some challenges in getting product so in some instances they would install a better unit but at the lower price quoted to the customer. He said they’d never install a lower rated unit. Hunter called Maggie to confirm this was the case with my order and 5 minutes later he reported that yes this was what they were doing, namely they’d install the “best” unit at the price quoted me for the “better” unit. (Same unit but with a higher seer value.) Hunter is a master installer. He explained what he would be doing, explained how to maintain and operate the unit most efficiently, cleaned up wires around my furnace and was done by about 1:30 (he was working all by himself): New A/C, new A-coil, upgraded smart thermostat, connected to WiFi with phone app controller. Our home was at 86 degrees when the air began and he left and and I’m now enjoying morning coffee, looking out over the lake, in a comfortable 72 degrees with no humidity. Noone is a fan of the cost of HVAC work, but after 1 horrible experience with Bonfe, I was looking for the right company to work with. I had to do a bit of chasing for answers to get the appointment and cost which wasnt ideal, but the repairman was top notch, respectful, professional, and most of all Honest - I would suggest Countryside over Bonfe 1 million times over. Their pricing for replacing my A Coil was less than HomeWorks to replace my drip pan (cracked) and recharge A/C. So Best Pricing, All Nate Certified, So best work.

I recently purchased a new Bryant Furnace and Air Conditioner from Countryside. Everything from the initial call to the sales appointment to the installation was absolutely professional and top notch. Everyone was prompt and courteous. Their salesman took the time to walk through my home and ask me questions to know what I liked and disliked about my previous system. They provided me several different options and explained the differences. There was no pressure or up-selling and their price beat the competition. When it came time for installation, I got a text message and email the night before confirming the appointment! Then I received another text with a picture of the installer when he was on his way! They arrived on time as promised and were polite and clean. They laid down covers to protect the flooring. When everything was installed, they walked through the usage of the thermostat and maintenance items. They took the time to answer any questions before leaving. Countryside Heating and Cooling was absolutely the best choice for me. I was so impressed, I even recommended Countryside to my brother who chose them as well!

I have been a Home Service Plus customer for 20+ years. Earlier this week we started smelling a strong burning smell coming from our A/C system. I called Home Service Plus to get someone out to look at it. They were scheduling 2 weeks out. With a major heat wave coming, 2 weeks was unacceptable. Countryside had some some work for us a couple of years ago and I called the number on their sticker on the furnace. They had an opening next day, which i took. Mike arrived on time and found the problem immediately. Our fan motor had seized on our air exchanger due to inadequate maintenance. It wasnt a cheap fix, but our A/C was back on line wihin 2 hours. Mike was great. We learned 2 valuable lessons. 1) Preventative maintenance is important. In fact, we signed upnfor Countryside's PM program for our furnace, A/C and humidifer on the spot. 2) Home Service Plus is just fine if you don't really care when your covered appliance gets fixed. We care a lot about this and are cancelling our membership to Home Service Plus.

So I was in a desperate situation where my heater quit on a very cold winter SUNDAY while I was out of town. The alarm system that I had told me the house temperature was dropping rapidly. I began calling around and I only found one place that would come out immediately to repair this deteriorating situation. Having a "MagicPac" HVAC system (heat/AC in one) is a challenge, especially located in a small closet. Brooks @ Countryside Heating/Cooling knew immediately what the problem was and fixed it. Apparently these systems are used almost exclusively in community living. Mine was installed about 17 years ago and will need to be replaced, hoping to get one more winter out of it. Ben was very kind and helpful. He not only checked out our furnace and humidifier, but helped me with an in-floor radiant heat question that was really bugging me...he installed a new thermostat for the porch's radiant heat, and it is working again (had been out-of-control hot on our porch unless we turned off the circuit breaker!). We will do business with Countryside again. Our AC compressor was shorted out. The AC and furnace were 20 years old and we went with a new Bryant AC and furnace. The installation of AC and furnace was done in a day and the installers were on time did a great job with the installation of the furnace and AC. Install was quick and clean with clear instructions for use. The AC works fantastic the variable speed compressor is super quiet and got the humidity and the temp down quickly. With temps around 100 we are pleased with how well it works.

Brooks Butterfield and Matthew Becker did a great job on the installation, which included some unanticipated venting issues. Review just on service call only. Technician was very punctual, informative. And provided proper information needed to make further decisions on a replacement furnace and a/c unit. Update:6/1/2020 Hired Countryside based off service call and quick reply to quote and scheduling. Was able to get furnace and A/C unit installed almost immediately, which happened to be today(thank goodness with temperatures for the week forecasted in to upper 80’s). We are long-term customers. Countryside would have gotten 5 stars from us until now. In the midst of this pandemic, we were very disappointed to have the technician arrive to our home unmasked and not even vaccinated, both which are strongly recommended by CDC and Minnesota Dept of Health. Neither is required of employees per company policy. It would be very simple to require at least masking for entry. At present, the homeowner needs to request that a mask be donned in their home. If the homeowner says that a mask is not needed, fine, remove it. But the current policy is presumptive and irresponsible, in our opinion.

On Friday, June 30, we were trying to move home after being displaced by a fire for three months. We were also attempting to leave the state for a few days when the AC lines froze up in the house. I called Maggie in the morning, and she said she would do what she could, even though they were running short staffed and some techs were leaving early for the July 4th holiday. A few hours later, Tony was at our door, assessed the situation, but needed to get a part before he could fix anything. So, on a Friday of a holiday weekend, he drove from Bloomington to Golden Valley and back again on Hwy 100 and its murderous traffic. Tony got right to work, and shortly thereafter had the blower motor exchange and the house cooling. The past few months have been very stressful, and facing an HVAC situation that could have slowed our move and cancelled our trip, was almost too much. Maggie and Tony managed everything in their professional way. We cannot thank them and Countryside for their continued outstanding service.
