Jeff and Mark did my full installation today.
They were so patient with my curious 3 yo and were so nice and polite.
They made sure I knew what I was doing before they left. Even took a second to love on my dog..
It's amazing when you can feel comfortable with people running in and out of your house.
My new system had already started cooling my house as I was leaving..
10/10 recommend KLM.

It's a Friday, my furnace is making noises and blowing cold air. I didn't know what to do. In a panic, I called KLM and was greeted with a sweet, kind young lady. She could get someone there in 2 hours, a competitor couldn't diagnosis it until next week. It's going to be in single digits next week, I couldn't wait without heat that long. KLM's rep (Michael) called me within minutes, he was on his way! Michael explained the problem in detail and a way I understood. I ask many questions. He was patient, knowledgeable, understanding and went out of his way to do everything possible to have my unit working, even checked the humidifier, vent noises and made sure my house was heating properly along with the thermostat. As a Senior Citizen on a Social Security budget, Michael explained the bill making the cost affordable for me, which helped tremendously. I can't thank KLM enough for Michael and all the staff. You have made a difference. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication. You are greatly appreciated. It's nice to know there are still businesses and a staff who care about doing things right. From the first phone call, I felt as if I was important and you cared about my situation. Now I can sleep with a toasty home and a comfort knowing it will still be working. BLESSINGS TO YOU ALL AT KLM from a grateful and appreciative customer.

I had a no-heat situation on a Friday and KLM was able to fix my furnace the same day so I had heat again before a cold weekend. Josh was very friendly and professional, he definitely took the time to explain what was wrong with my furnace unit. I also appreciated that he was up-front with pricing for parts and labor.

Detailed Review - First point of contact: My KML story started with an after hours call for a gas valve leak. They offered to come out that night but I opted to wait until morning since I had an old heater that needed parts to be ordered and nothing could be done that night anyway.
Service call: Tony came out, found the leak and went over the cost of fixing it. As a person who knows nothing about HVAC systems nor has a husband to help walk me through these decisions, I especially appreciated the extra time he spent going over the pros and cons of fixing vs. replacing. He offered to find a general price range to see if that was even an option I should explore. I decided it was worth exploring and asked for someone to come talk to me about options. I was thrilled someone could come immediately.
While waiting for the comfort specialist, Tony agreed to stay while I called my parents and helped me explain what was going on. He remained objective throughout the entire process therefore proving he was trustworthy. He agreed to stay once more after Neil (the comfort specialist) arrived in case I decided to go the repair route.
Comfort specialist: Neil was equally amazing. I think he sensed the rapport Tony and I had developed because he didn’t rush Tony back to KLM. He included Tony in the conversation and then my parents on the phone again. It truly felt like a team decision, which I love. Neil took his time going over the one stage and two stage units, followed by the air purification systems, thermostat, and financing. Like Tony, Neil too was objective and patient as we weighed out the pros and cons of each option until a plan was in place for installation the very next day.
This is where I could go into the details of KLM’s generosity, disability awareness, integrity, and any other adjective defining all that is right in this world. I wish I had the brevity and eloquence to put into words how supported and appreciated they made me feel. Sadly, I don’t have the writing skills to do this story justice. If I tried, it would either sound like I was bragging, looking for pity or preaching about disability. Since I don’t want to distract from their good deeds, I’ll need you guys to just trust me on this one. These are honest, fair, good folks who care about more than making a buck. It’s truly a faith in humanity story and a beautiful lesson on empathy that is theirs to share if they so choose.
Install: Considering my experience with Tony and Neil the bar was set pretty high at this point. Realistically, I knew this high level of professionalism and customer service could only go so far. No company is perfect, they have to have a weak link somewhere, right? Wrong. Jermane, Dan and Justin came first thing in the morning. They were just as lovely as Tony and Neil. They put drop cloths down to protect my floors, and shoe coverings so they didn’t track in mud. The conversations were meaningful and I learned a lot about my HVAC system. Neil came by mid way through to check on things, make sure I didn’t have any questions about the financing and pick up the down payment.
They were almost finished by the time my son came home from school. All the guys were so nice to him. Jermane talked to him just like he was any other teenage kid. You would be surprised at how rare that is. Then they made his day as they honked their horns when they left. It sounded like a COVID birthday parade driving by and my kiddo (who also happens to be totally blind) was in heaven!
Following up: Neil called to see if I liked my new 2 stage system. I did have some questions about the thermostat so the next morning Dan came back to make sure everything was online and the temperature was calibrated correctly. Everything is perfect and I am thrilled with the system so far.
Summary: I would call them again. I would recommend them to all my friends. I look forward to seeing them next year for maintenance. I’m a KLM customer for life!

I needed service to my AC unit that was not working at the time, I called @ 11pm and got Dereick Roll who was great first thing in the morning and had me fixed and cleaned within 2hrs. So friendly and professional was great, I could not have asked for anything more from KLM.

KLM was by far the best choice among all of the choices. Neil, Jermaine, and Justin were all professional! What a super experience this was. Would highly recommend if you want honest, professional service.

I was extremely impressed with KLM from start to finish. One of my AC units went out during 90 degree weather and they had a technician at my door in less than 24 hours. Jimmy explained everything in detail and was very professional. It was determined my aging AC needed to be replaced and the evaporator unit. Neil Uhl came out immediately during the technicians visit and gave me several options for replacement as well as financing options. I decided to go ahead and replace the second unit and evaporator as well and Neil managed to get my install done the following day. Steve and Jermane came out to do the install and again nothing but professional. They had me up and running within a few hours and I could not be happier with the work they did. They spared no details on the install process, left my home exactly as they found out and did precisely what they promised. I highly recommend KLM to anyone in need of HVAC service. They aren't the cheapest around but you 100% get what you pay for and I will continue to use their services for all my maintenance and HVAC needs.
Update to post:
Jermane and Steve were back today for the second unit, same outstanding experience. KLM even sent us a gift for our business. You dont see customer service like this anymore. We'll be a customer for life!

Long story short... I had just closed on my new home. I knew the unit was old when I closed... and there were also 3 other HVAC companies that had been out to service this unit just this spring. They didn’t say a whole lot & just wanted to charge for a band aid fix instead of giving it to me straight.
KLM was the only company that gave me details & an accurate picture. They gave me several repair/ replacement options.
They took their time. They explained thoroughly & never gave me a sales pitch. Because I had all the accurate information, I chose a new unit.
And after seeing the old equipment they pulled out!? I’m going to sleep so much better now knowing it was the safe & smart choice.
I will NOT ever call the others & will now ALWAYS stick with KLM. Highly recommended.

I’ve really enjoyed using KLM. They replaced my HVAC unit soon after buying my house and they’ve taken great care of the HVAC equipment for years. They’re always on time and communicate appointments and reminders. Their service plan is a great value in my opinion. Mike D. has been the technician that’s helped us for several of our bi-annual check-ups, and we really appreciate his expertise and friendliness.
