I had a great experience with Greater Comfort from start to finish. They replaced two old gas furnaces with all electric heat pump systems. My install was rather complicated and the end result is even better than expected. The sales representative was knowledgeable and willing to delve into the details to deliver exactly the system that I wanted. The install crew was knowledgable, professional, accommodating, and their workmanship is excellent. I am very happy with my new heat pump system and highly recommend Greater Comfort.

Cannot thank Edgar enough for coming out on one of the hottest days of the year to fix our AC. I called and they had someone out within 2h which was great. He even stayed to make sure it was running properly and check the circuits afterwards.

Edis and Steve are amazing. Edis came out 4 times and Steve came with him on his last visit to try and see what the issue was with our furnace. Edis did all he could to see what was wrong with our furnace and didn’t stop until he figured out what it was. Our heat was out for more than a month and we thought it was the furnace that went out. We had other companies come out before greater comfort, and all they did was try and sell us on a new furnace. Greater comfort came out to try and fix the furnace first before even considering upgrading. After all diagnostics and everything, they were able to conclude that the furnace wasn’t the issue, but that it was the meter from Duke energy that went out. Greater comfort was professional and patient through the whole process and I would definitely recommend them over anyone else. They actually try to help the customer by any means necessary and they’re not looking to make a dime off you.

We replaced our A/C system with Greater Comfort a year ago and are so glad we did. Called in last night because it didn't seem to be cooling. Cody Beverly came out first thing this morning and fixed what had turned out to be a loose wire. Such a pleasant, professional worker and extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Greater Comfort. My AC went out. I spoke with Angel for scheduling a service call. She was pleasant, provided clear communication, and answered all my preliminary questions. The technician who arrived (on time), was Zack. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and fixed the necessary issues. I appreciated his patience with all my questions - just seemed like a genuine guy with honest recommendations. It's a small sample size/representation of this company's work, but they'll be who I call moving forward.

I called Angel at 7am today. Within 20 minutes, Zach was at my house and an hour and fifteen minutes later, my AC was working again! I am thrilled! My husband was sure that the AC was toast, but Zach was able to fix it, and it was super affordable. We also signed up for the bi-annual check up, which was a great deal. I highly recommend Greater Comfort. They are kind, helpful, and trustworthy!

Thank you Angel and especially Zach (HVAC Tech). I spoke with Angel about a potential appointment on a Thursday at around 4 pm, she is very friendly and honest. She was able to give prices based on different scenarios. Some other companies I called couldn't, or wouldn't give me the price for the refrigerant. I was afraid I would pay $89 or $99 or as high as $120 just for a truck to come out, and it be a mystery of what they may charge for the R22 refrigerant when they got here. Angel gave me the price of the R22 and some other possible charges to help prepare me for what I may expect. She also explained the Technician would look the system over and give me the best direction to go to avoid unnecessary charges. I felt I should call around to make a more informed decision. When I called them back at 5 it was after office hours so she asked to call back at 7 am Friday. I did and within 2 hours the Technician (Zach) was at my door. He worked very diligently and presented himself in a very professional, courteous manor. within 2 hours he diagnosed and serviced our AC. I was very comfortable with the overall charge and felt it was done very fairly. I will continue to use Greater Comfort if the need arises. Thanks again Zach for your professionalism and integrity, its a rare quality these days!

These guys are the real deal. I got a brand new system install with new ductwork and the works, and Greater Comfort knocked it out of the park. Their prices were on par with the cheapest I found, and they listened to what I WANTED and designed the system around that. The installers worked fast and in the heat of the summer, cramped in a crawl space. They also offer a year long labor warranty which states that if you have any mechanical issues with the unit, their guys will come out and fix it free of charge. I personally used this once after the install to fix leaky piping in the unit, which was done quickly and fixed the problem. The reason that I'm writing this review though is because I discovered that some of the ductwork that was installed put my electrical panel out of code, so it would not pass an inspection. When I called Greater Comfort about this, I thought they would tell me that there was nothing they could do. To the contrary, they insisted that they would come move the ducts free of charge, no questions asked, since their installation was the reason my panel wouldn't pass inspection. It's beyond refreshing to deal with a company that considers customer satisfaction one of its core values, and I will absolutely be using Greater Comfort for all my future needs. They have a friendly staff, great communication, and I 100% recommend them based on my personal experience.

I have been a Greater Comfort customer for many years and there is a very good reason for that. When it's time for my furnace/AC maintenance, I always receive a call right on schedule. The call usually comes from 'Angel Huff' at the front desk. Angel should be rewarded for her professionalism, great customer service and perhaps, most of all, her kindness. I also want to recognize another deserving employee. His name is Cody Martin. He arrived at my home right on time to service my furnace and A/C. Cody is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and such a gentleman. I am hoping that he will be the one for my next maintenance. I definitely recommend Greater Comfort. I know they are the best! Thanks! Greater Comfort Heating and Air-conditioning has been out to my home three or four times in the last year and a half. Each time they have provided superior service. The last two times I was serviced by Cody Beverly who went above and beyond first in a basic cleaning where he was thorough and professional. I wish I had thought to write a review at that time. And then today, he appears to have found the cause of a persistent issue I've been having. He found a loose connection which two other companies in the past have simply diagnosed as a faulty compression switch. He was proactive in his diagnostics and in his solution. I called his office a little after 7 am. He arrived within an hour and a half and was done by 11am. I am glad we have a contract with them to care for our heat and air.

Needed to make an emergency call for a tenants air that went out during very hot weather. They were very nice and professional. Needed to replace a part they actually had on the truck. Simply put this company provides top notch installs at a highly competitive price. We had another popular company (Arlinghaus) install an HVAC system in our home. Arlinghaus was $3k higher than Greater Comfort, so we thought we were purchasing a superior product. Boy were we wrong. We had so much trouble with Arlinghaus that we had them remove the entire system and go on their way. We went back to Greater Comfort to revisit the job. The price came back the same as before. We also interviewed several other companies (8 during the entire period) and nobody was even close to the price Greater Comfort provided for high quality Trane equipment. The only other companies even coming close in price were installing far cheaper equipment (Daikin or Tempstar) and they were within $100's of Greater Comfort. Some companies were $1000's MORE than Greater Comfort for cheaper equipment. Jake performed our installation. They set aside ample time and provided one of the best jobs I've ever seen. I am a home inspector and have seen a lot of HVAC installs. They were never rushed, added a few small things for no charge, worked with me every step of the way, and just left me with nothing but positive things to say. I know from now on I will be recommending Greater Comfort to all of my clients that put their trust in me for home inspections.

After getting prices from other companies, I decided to go with Greater Comfort since it was the most affordable and personable. Furnace went out over the weekend, tech called and walked me through how to keep the heat going till Monday because they wouldn't be able to get the part till Monday which helped me save money on costs.
