Start to finish, great people. Fixed a bad capacitor that was causing our AC to blow warm air. I called, explained the situation and DFH came out same day and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. The people I talked to were all very kind and professional, and really know their stuff. We were charged a reasonable price, too. No upsells for stuff we didn't need. You guys have made a very satisfied customer and I will be using your services again in the future. Highly recommend!

We just had a complete system replacement with DFH and we are thrilled. They didn’t try to oversell us on equipment we don’t need, no games, no attitudes or slamming the competition. Just a good honest hardworking team of professionals who really know their trade well. Every single person who entered our home was kind, very good at their job, and took great care to make sure it was done properly. In addition, we needed some tricky duct rework and maneuvering. This crew made quick work of some difficult spaces and did a perfect job. If you live in Louisville, there’s no reason to try any other company for your HVAC needs. We are customers for life. I rarely post reviews. However a high quality, locally owned contractor is a tough thing to find these days. DFH has done HVACs for a couple houses on my block. So, when my 16 year old unit got on its last leg, I gave them a call. During a heatwave, they were able to get me scheduled within a week. They showed up promptly for the install, and did a great job.

We have been using DFH to maintain our Trane HVAC system for 16 years. They installed the two units in 2001 when our home was built. I know the service scheduler by name (as they routinely service our system twice a year). They’re always on time, proactive with service contract maintenance, and professional. We recently updated our system and felt we received a fair price.

Was very pleased in the way they conduct business. Salesperson was able to come out 2 hrs. after calling to inquire about replacing heat pump. Suggested that a unit that I received a quote on from a different company was bigger than I needed. Explained the difference between the two units, along with the pros and cons. Installers were punctual, (masked up) and very polite. Explained and answered all questions and was very business like performing their jobs.What impressed me most was that the owner called to make sure we were happy. He also had the salesperson come out the following day to check the work. This is a company that not only wants your business but appreciates your business. A++

DFH just installed Mitsubishi mini split units on our second floor. They were very responsive when I called for a quote, getting back to me the very same day. They were able to do our install within the week, and they finished everything in one day. The guys that came out to do the work were professional and friendly. We’re very happy with our new units! I normally do not post reviews, but was inspired to do so after continued great service and extreme professionalism exhibited by the DFH team. My interactions with the receptionist, the scheduler, the techs, even the owners have been filled with immediate response to our needs, effective communication and great care in the work completed for our home. This includes a new install after a basement flood and a myriad of other events over the past three years in our old but very loved Louisville home. I recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a group of Heating and Air Conditioning professionals who truly have set a new standard for service.

I could not recommend DFH and their quality systems enough! My husband and I recently purchased our first home and needed the entire package unit replaced. We scheduled the installation for a Monday and our heat stopped working completely the Saturday before (during which a heavy snow storm was predicted for Monday). I called DFH on the weekend to determine if they would still be able to complete the installation on Monday and inform them of the issue. Not only did they assure me they would do their best to make the installation (they did in the midst of snow falling), they sent a service technician to try to get the system working until they arrived Monday. As if the high quality customer service wasn't enough, my utility bill went down $60 in the first month of using our new system (during February the coldest month of the year) and we still need to add insulation to areas where it is thin throughout the house, so I can only assume it will continue to go down. Our family will never use anyone outside of DFH!

DFH was an absolute life saver for us. We’ve had so many people look at our AC and DFH was the only company who was truly honest, and knowledgeable. We weren’t sold some “Easy repair” to save them time and get our money. We replaced the entire unit and felt very comfortable with their evaluation. In a world with no time to slow down, it’s nice to know a company like this is out there, so you don’t have to waste your time talking to multiple contractors. They may not be the cheapest, but they’re the best. Look no further!

I called DFH because I needed a new furnace (in a crawlspace). New house, the previous owners said it was ancient, it no longer blew hot. Ralph came over and went into the crawlspace, took a look around. The flame sensor was dirty, so he cleaned it, and it didn't work. He felt pretty confident the unit could be repaired rather than replaced, and it wasn't as old as the previous owners had believed. I wasn't charged for that visit, because I had to set up a service call for time reasons. Set up the appointment, Ralph came right when they said to expect him. Ended up diagnosing the issue as a motor, replaced it, heat's working again. They could have just sold me a new furnace, because I was clearly prepared to cough up the money for it, but Ralph was knowledgeable and honest enough to fix what needed to be fixed, and says the furnace is actually in top shape otherwise. I'd absolutely recommend DFH, and they have me as a life customer.

I’m genuinely impressed by how courteous and professional every person with whom I’ve interacted from this company is. I had them install a ductless heat and AC unit for me. Chris came to the house provided a clear explanation for how the installation would happen and what the cost was, which included the labor and electrical work. Dave and his partner worked quickly to install the unit, left my house just as clean as when the arrived, and Dave spent 10 minutes showing me how the unit and remote worked. Highly recommend this company!

The salesman came over on a Wednesday morning and gave me an estimate. I accepted. They had a opening for Thursday morning at 8:15 to install a new furnace. My son lives in the house and he said they were right on time. They were in-and-out with the furnace installed with the job complete in an hour and a 1/2. The furnace runs very quiet and it's putting out great heat. I highly recommend this company for any heating and air problems you might have.

We just added 6 new Mitshubishi split systems in our church to cool the sanctuary, stage, and multi-media control (located in the balcony). We got several estimates and DFH got the bid. Chris Hinkebein had recommended the units instead of replacing the duct work and the under powered system we had that would have been extremely expensive.. His estimate included all electrical work, labor, and material. We could not be more pleased with the result. Two of his employees worked tirelessly for 4 days to get all six units installed. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. Give Chris a call for your HVAC services. You won't regret it.

Our furnace went out New Year’s Eve ..Bryant heating and cooling came first..we were then recommended to dfh who came and fixed the same problem that Bryant quoted for half the cost and in the same day!! Can’t say enough good things about them! Highly recommend
