An amazing company! This is my second time using Relaxed Heating and Air for my HVAC repairs.. They are professional and knowledgeable. My appointment was scheduled in a timely manner! I was notified when the technician was on his way. Alex is a very competent technician, he quickly diagnosed the issue. He had the part on hand and efficiently made the repair! One night last week, my wife and I came home to find water leaking from the ceiling light in our laundry room. We quickly discovered that it was due to a problem with the AC unit, which was leaking. I called and left a message with an actual person with their after-hours messaging service. (I thought this was a nice touch, rather than an answering machine. This was sort of offset, though, by the fact that it took them about an hour after opening before returning my message. It seems like I would have been better off and gotten a quicker response by simply calling them right when they opened rather than leaving a message.) After they called me back and I explained the problem, they had a person to my house within a couple hours. Danny (the technician) was just terrific. He was very professional, he was happy to answer all my questions, and he explained everything that was going because he wanted to make sure that I understood by the problem and what they were doing to solve it. I really appreciated that. It turns out that most of the problem was the result of shoddy work by the company who had done work on my AC unit the last time! (They set up an emergency overflow switch to shut off the unit in case of a clogged main drain line—but they never connected it to the unit.) Needless to say, I’ll be sticking with this company from now on.

Relaxed heating was picked by my mother's insurance to repair her air-conditioning. Both the AC & the furnace ended up needing replacement. The technician, Vladimir and the owner David as well as all the staff I spoke with was responsive, professional & overall went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of and working. They were very courteous and patient. Even when the insurance company sent the incorrect furnace, David took it upon himself to deal with them and replaced it with a new furnace so that the work could be done in timely manner. I came home from our wedding and our AC was not working, They came out and found the issues to be our compressor. Not a cheap part to replace but they were able to get us set up for the next day and we had our AC back up in less then 24 hours after our call. They were very nice and very fast with the repairs. They do great work and saved us from a 90 degree heat wave.

Great company, forced AC stopped blowing cold, had two HVAC companies look at it and both said it must be replaced, Alex went out there and was able to repair it for far less money than a new one. this review is long overdue. Finally had the time to write it. My home warranty company sent them when my air conditioner gave out- (July 2020) The issue was that it wasn't blowing cold air. It was faint. Whenever I had a small issue with the ac unit in the past (like a leak) , previous techs from OTHER companies would recommend a whole new air conditioning unit. The tech from Relaxed Heating & Air did not. He gave his thoughts that day and suggested changing out my air vents because of the way they were positioned to get maximum air flow. Did a leak test the following day and recharged my freon. Didn't have to replace the whole ac system. Russ (tech) was professional and explained things thoroughly. Great company, even scheduling appointments are easy. Have recommended them to the landlord underneath me along with other neighbors in the complex

We registered an AC repair with our home warranty insurance company. Relaxed Air was assigned to make the repairs. Our home warranty company dragged their feet on approving the repair, ordering the parts, etc. However, Relaxed Air was absolutely easy to work with through this difficult process. They kept in touch with us, their communication was excellent. Their OC technician - Nick was professional and courteous. I will be calling Relaxed if we need any additional service work on our AC system.

I can't really comment on the cost as they were who my home warranty company sent, so I don't know what they would have charged if it wasn't a warranty repair.

The man who fixed my heater did it quickly and explained the issue to me clearly with images. A jumper cable was attached for some reason and a cable unplugged which he corrected and didn't try to upsell me on any other fixes; just an offer to clean the furnace space. I thought the $180 for cleaning was a bit expensive but I don't know anything about furnaces so it might have been a good deal. Either way he didn't push it on me and said he understood when I said no, which I appreciate.

Relaxed Heating and air serviced our A/C unit and was told the actual problem was never repaired. Relaxed Heating and Air made a simple fix and it's like living in a new home! We were in a heat wave and we needed the air conditioning fixed because it wasn’t working. We had had another company only two months ago and when we needed the system it would not function. Andreas came out and looked at more things then the previous company. He changed out the compressor and an incredibly dirty filter and got it all working again. All the previous company did was refill the Freon which was not enough since the compressor was not working. I am impressed.

Max was extremely efficient in assessing the state of the system and happily shared his insights so I could understand the issues. I appreciate this because I like to learn about systems in my house. Unfortunately, it is a very old system and there is no way to graft in new components that will play with the rest of the system. That is why house warranty insurance is a good idea. I would be happy to have Max do the work no matter who pays for it.

It’s the third time I’ve had the same problem and American home shield warranty assigns is to this air conditioning repair and it’s the same quiz fix. They recharged AC. Original company, Tempest Air, that replaced R22 with 407c didn’t add enuf so evaporate coil and low side line froze up all the way back to condenser. Tempest insists they didn’t use 407c, they’ve no records and they didn’t mark condenser as I discovered they SHOULD have!!! “Relaxed Air” left the unit capable of cooling all the way down to 75*F !! The unit is 25 YEARS OLD!!! and really cooling now, finally! I monitor for leaks with my own AC gauge set, no drop in pressure detected. THANK YOU!

This review is mixed. Our experience did not start off well, but I'm happy to say it ended well. We have a policy with AHS & upon filing a claim regarding our non-functional heating system (right as the night temps started dropping into the low 40s), we were informed we would be working with Relaxed Heating & Air for the repairs. Even though vendors have up to 48 hours to respond to a request for service, we usually get a call within an hour or two of filing the claim. After 24 hours of not hearing from them, we called RH&A. They sent someone out the next day and they would have to order a part. It was a Friday, and apparently they didn't attempt to order the part until the following Monday. We called on Tuesday to inquire of the status because we'd received no updates. They said it should be in that day. On Thursday, we had still not heard anything so my husband called again. They said it had been shipped but that Trane had chosen ground shipping and it would be up to a week before it arrived. We informed our landlady and she immediately reached out to RH&A. She spoke with Dave who said they had only located and ordered the part that day (which contradicted what the young woman had just told my husband) but after some persuasion, Dave offered to call and get a tracking number. He committed to communicating more clearly with her from that point on, which he did. He informed her later that day they expected to get the part on Friday and could install it on Saturday. On Friday, when the part didn't come in, he had someone call her and inform her. On Saturday, when the part arrived, they called and offered to come within 1.5 hours to fix it, and they were there within an hour. The repair took ten minutes. Thank you, Dave, for making things right.
