The office staff was clear and explained their services well; very friendly scheduling. The tech assigned was Adam on my first call. He diagnosed problems and explained 3 options for service or service plus annual program of system checks. My impression was that Adam was well versed in the repairs of the systems and spent the necessary time to answer my questions. Parts were ordered and a space heater from NRG was provided. On the second call, Adam came with another tech, Alex, and it appeared that Adam was training him or supervising the installation of parts. They both worked hard, were aware of cleanliness wearing covers on shoes, and vacuumed the areas they worked on. NRG sends text updates on tech arrival time with photo of tech for safety. Very happy with service.

The NRG technician, Eric M., was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous through the entire visit. He gave me a thorough review, and provided me additional services that needed to get addressed. He was not pushy at all, was not a salesperson, but gave me his honest feedback and recommendations which I appreciate. Eric and Jack came by my house to inspect our Air Ducts, furnace, and AC- they are solid, legit, honest, and took the time to answer ALL my questions (and I have a LOT)! They are trustworthy of earning your business! I appreciate how they warned me of the dangers of cleaning a fiber glass air duct (some competitors literally put me and my family at risk by recommending cleaning fiber glass which can pollute the entire house), and I also appreciate how they took the time to inspect everything and educate me on how everything works together. They have laidback and easygoing personalities and put up with my 10,000 questions. They are likable and I felt the interaction was pleasant. They gave me a fair quote for quality work and products from a legit manufacturer that has a great reputation. I can’t move forward until my next work contract starts, but the business will probably go to NRG. They weren’t too pushy/high-pressure salesy, and I liked how they were honest and educated me.

Our AC stopping working at the worst time possible. They scheduled an appt fairly quickly and John was the tech who came over and explained everything very well he was very honest. He explained everything in a manner that I could understand . Sent over a report as well. I scheduled another appointment and John Came a few days later and then fixed the AC. Alex was knowledgeable ( I am an engineer), explained issues thoroughly, was Courteous and explained our options. We elected to install Air Wave in both our roof mounted system. Through this Alex was never pushy ( I hate sales pitch). They scheduled the repair quickly and we think their price is fair. Follow up: Alex came back and installed the air purifiers, sealed part of the original duct seal that was torn, and sealed the roof exhaust where rain would get into the house. He honestly went above and beyond what we had asked and we sincerely appreciate it.

Please be advised that my rating is on the introduction and first meeting established with Ziv of NRG Heating and Air. Ziv took the time to learn about the problem, build rapport quickly and did a fantastic thorough analysis. While I've yet to receive because it was done a few hrs go, the first impression has me excited and eager to work with him to eradicate my duct issues. So first impressions - 5 stars I will evaluate and review the overall company as a whole when the job is completed.

I was promised a rebate of around $3,000.00 which would help me recover some of the cost of the system. I have been calling them for over 4-months trying to get my rebate. First Leticia states it takes some time. Then she said it was approved. It has been over a month it has been approved with no check. Run around, run around run around. I call and do not get calls back. Anything you do DO NOT BELIEVE THEM WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR REBATE unless you are willing to call 10-15-20 times. THEY ARE HORRIBLE AT FOLLOW-through once they get your money.

I have been an NRG customer for close to 10 years, and I have been very happy with the installations of both my prior home, and here in my current condo residence of the past 2 years. The technicians that have serviced my units have been very professional, and even when they have dirtied my attic entrance opening, or put a greasy palm / hand print on a door or wall, I happily used my 409 cleaner after they had finished and left. I feel for some of the clients that left a 1-star review with NRG, for their stories of bad service that may have been warranted, but it was nice that NRG actually apologized and attempted to remedy the situation following these comments / complaints. One cannot make every one happy all the time...

The company has been around for decades. They installed our AC and furnace. They call every year to do maintenance checks. Pricing is probably on the more expensive side, but the company is established (not a fly by night gig). That’s important if you buy the expensive equipment from them. The service guy is friendly and professional.

Mac came to clean my gas dryer vent of lint and debris. I believe in preventive maintenance. He was very knowledgeable and shared great information for general maintenance of dryer. They did an air duct replacement couple of years ago and did excellent work, and clean up well afterwards. I have a yearly maintenance and safety inspection. I've also had a UV light air purifier installed in 2013 with life time warranty. As you can see I've been with this company for years and am very pleased with their work and customer service. I highly recommend them.

Eli, and John before hime are masters of their trade. My problem is that I'm so cheap, I think their prices are too high. I expect a lot of this has to do with the overhead involved in running a top tier company like NRG, but my current financial position makes me put off til next year, or the next upgrades and services I would have preferred to purchase during the pandemic. I have great admiration for NRG and its staff, I just wish I could afford them. I will repost after I try doing some of the repairs myself, and then we'll see if I'm as smart as I think I am...

NRG did a great job replacing our heat pump. They came for a consultation the same day I called and had the unit installed about 5 business days later which is reasonable for the late summer. The price was in the ballpark for what you would expect for such a job in this market. The staff worked quickly and professionally and answered any questions I had. The system cools nicely, and runs quietly. I can’t wait to get my first power bill to see how much it goes down with this more efficient unit.

Every employee I spoke with was professional, friendly and responsive on a Sunday during the heat wave. It was 116 outside and my compressor went out. Appointment was quickly scheduled. I was informed of arrival time. Adam the technician was prompt, informed and knew just what to do. Took the time to show me exactly what he had to replace (capacitator). AC is now cooling down the house and I can't thank them enough. Adam also educated me on how to keep the unit running well. I;m a big fan & would recommend them without reservation.

Several weeks ago they made an appointment. I got a call that they were running late. Technician never showed up, and I got no explanation. They called me again to schedule another appointment, not even knowing that they had failed to show up previously. I mentioned this to them and there was no explanation. I needed 2 thermostats installed and was quoted $300 total (I had the rep confirm with a manager that this was "all in" and there would not be additional charges). Steep but I did not have time to shop around. The technician was supposed to show up yesterday, but then they called me again to reschedule. He finally showed up today, and immediately demanded $600. I explained that I had already confirmed with a manager and they confirmed it was $300. He was quiet, and after a few minutes came back and said it would still be $575, because he needed some wiring. He was at my home for 90 minutes, and serviced both existing heaters (which I bought from NRG last year) and installed the thermostats. The business model of the firm is clear. They get you into their system, then bombard you with phone calls for "service". As soon as the technician is in your home, the mission is to see how they can generate more billing. He did not even have the proper filter for the heating service. I will not be using this firm again.

The other day I called NRG because I was having an air flow issues in one of my rooms, Adam Nasser (Technician) came right on time with a face mask and shoe covers very professional he introduced himself and asked me what is going on, after I did he went straight to his office (attic) where the ducts are and the system and within 7 minutes he was done. Now that room has the best airflow in the entire house thanks to Adam I highly recommend NRG and Adam Nasser. If it’s possible ask for him and I guarantee you will be happy and satisfied. A friend recommended NRG and without much fuss, we got working. They started working immediately. They removed the old insulation promptly and proceed to measure all the areas that needed insulation. Although having to replace our air conditioning was a big expense, we are so happy with the unit and the new comfort of our home. We had old window boxes and our electric bill was over 350.00 a month. The new bill came in and we saved a lot of money in the first month! This unit will pay for itself before too long and we are so happy with our investment in our home. Thanks to all the great people at NRG who helped us get this done!

After talking some claimed manager, the promised refund check finally came. At least they tried to correct the mistake unlike many other businesses. Updating my rating to 3 for now. Hipef6, there wouldn't be a next time that I needed to check the technician work and miss scheduled appointment. LOL. Just wasted 5 minutes of my life talking to a senior project manager (Quality Manager Michell was not available) as Donna alluded below in her reply to ccontact them. Basically, she said she understood my concern but the service was for "safety inspection and maintenance", the air filter could not be refunded because it was "free". She will raise my concern to another level of manager. What a joke! Don't forget, please check their work as air flow is critical to HVAC system. If filter is not installed properly and the system is not getting enough air, it could reduce the performance or the HVAC system or do damage to your system (not feeding enough air and the system needs to work harder). This is done in my own google research. NRG installed 2 HVAC systems for 2 of my properties. The initial service was fairly okay. They completed the jpbs as scheduled but they were just okay to deal with. After the installation, I have them come out annually to maintenance both systems. For the previous 2 times, I have never bother to check the filter element that was replaced. I thought they are professional and should be trusted. But this last time 4 weeks ago, they performed the maintenance on 2 of my HVAC systems and 1 for my inlaw''s. Unsure what prompted me 2 weeks ago to check on the filter element that was replaced in my house. I found that the replaced filter was the wrong size. My system uses 20x25x1. The tech replaced it with a 20x20x1. So we have been using the system without properly filtered. Not sure what dust and other small particles were being blown around my whole house. I called and they got back to me 2 days later that they would send out a tech to change it to the proper size. When it was time for the appointment, NRG called and said the tech couldn't make the appointment because he brought the worng filter again. I was furious this time and told them just forget it that I will replaced the filter myselft. Asked them just to refund me my fillter part of the fee. Then when my Amazon order filter came, I took out the wrong filter and realized that the tech even installed the filter in the wrong air flow direction! WTH?! Even I know the filter needs to be installed according to the air flow arrow. I called again and they got back again 2 days later. I complained and the rep said the manager will call me and refund me my money. Either happens and this will be the last time I do business with them. Don't waste your money with this company as they don't know the basis of HVAC apparently. If you do, check their work afterward to make sure it's been done right.

I can’t say enough good things about NRG and Dave. AC went out on one of the hottest nights in the Valley. Called NRG and they responded right away. First good sign was the 2hour visit window. Other businesses I called said they could come over from 10-3pm. Tough to accommodate during a work day. NRG gave me a very manageable window. Dave called ahead of time ( they don’t all this even if you ask). He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Better yet he explained what I needed to do if the same issue occurred again. I recently received a reminder call from NRG Heating and Air conditioning reminding me of my annual service duct cleaning and unit check. This company is extremely professional and promp while at the same time being warm and friendly. I always feel like a valued customer with them. They sent me Benji, who is a senior technician and his associate out to do the job. Benji is so personable and patient, because I wasn’t sure where my attic access was and he patiently walked with me throughout the house looking for our attic access in order to clean my ducts. While cleaning them he discovered that my ducts have been compromised by rats! He took pictures of the situation to show me and was concerned that I handle the situation immediately by calling an exterminator and swiftly provided me with a fair estimate to replace my ducts which I plan to do soon, with this company, so that my family is breathing in clean filtered air. Benji also happily replaced all my filters for me which was a lot in a 5,000 plus home. Despite the bad news about my rat problem and compromised air conditioning ducts, my overall experience was very positive and I would highly recommend this company and if you can request Benji to come out.

Terrible experience. Hired NRG to perform an HVAC inspection for a home purchase. He showed up an hour late, refused to perform the inspection because he said the equipment was old, and instead tried to sell me a new HVAC system. Billed me for the inspection anyway! Called customer service several times and they refused to do anything about it. Stay away from NRG! Update: The manager at NRG has since followed up and corrected the situation. It was an unfortunate experience, but Michael was incredibly helpful in resolving the situation. The 2nd inspection was very thorough and helpful in understanding the condition of our HVAC system.

Great service by N.R.G! We smelled gas from our furnace room and Enbridge shut down the gas supply due to a leak. This happened late at night on a very cold evening. Highly recommended. My A/C went down and we had a different repair guy come 3 times, and it still never worked. THEN I found NRG. A technician came out within 2 hours, he was very friendly, and he fixed our problem in less than an hour!! Very helpful, and very willing to get to the root cause of the issue with the A/C. UPDATE: The next day, something else went wrong with the A/C, due to some internal wiring shorted to common, which happened during the original install and just got worse over time. This is a rating long past due. A month ago, I had a warming issue that should have been settled quickly. I called N.R.G. Warming and Air Conditioning inc. also, had somebody come and review the heater. I met Eddie, a benevolent and learned tech who investigated my heater and found a harmed warmth exchanger. I realized that the time had come to purchase another heater, as it was 21 years of age. One of their experts was exceptionally cordial and I appreciated his polished methodology. He offered me the best alternatives to supplant the heater. Never amid the procedure did I feel compelled into purchasing an administration. He clarified what the procedure would have been similar to, who was coming to supplant the heater, and around to what extent it would take. The following day, I had another professionals started things out thing toward the beginning of the day to begin supplanting the heater. They were well disposed and considerate. Inside a couple of hours, they were finished. They worked admirably, and didn't go out a wreck. I'd like to perceive N.R.G. Warming and Air Conditioning inc. for their superb client and establishment benefit. They made me mindful that somebody is there to answer any inquiries I may have later on.
