I had to replace my package HVAC recently. I called Chapman Service and spoke with Dan Chapman who took the time to explain the unit options available, and the pros and cons of each one. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and willing to answer any question I may have had. Once a decision was made on the unit for our home Kaitlyn set up my appointment , and the installation team arrived as promised. The installation team was very efficient, and they quickly worked to install the new unit and was more than willing to answer any additional questions I may have had. The entire process went very smoothly, and the customer service was outstanding. Thank you

After a circuit board in a major appliance blew out at the time of a recent power outage, I was advised to get a whole-house surge protector. I called Chapman Service and Misty (on their front desk) immediately gave me the full price for the installation, saying they could install it the next day. Job done. Happy customer. Dan Chapman and his employees are exemplary in the service they provide: knowledgeable, straightforward, responsive, conscientious, courteous, and reliable.

I had Dan Chapman come out and replace my old package HVAC unit and it came out great! He kept in great communication with me before the install and answered all my questions. He was the MOST knowledgeable person I had contacted, and I had contacted about 10 other companies. He told me what items were up to code and what were not. He got my new Trane HVAC installed within a day. He is the owner of the company and he was here doing the install with another employee. If you need a new system or a repair I highly recommend his business! He even came out in an ice storm when my old unit went out and did the repair and gave me a quote on a new one. THANKS DAN!!!!!

He was very knowledgeable, took time to explain the process, listened to my input, offered viable suggestions, was easy to communicate with, and brought the issues down to my level. 08/02/2020 Last Thursday I got a call from one of my kids telling me that it was 86 degrees upstairs. I called Chapman Service, I was told that someone would be there within the hour. Technicain’s arrived and attempted to repair the unit which was installed when our house was built in 1986. They got the unit repairs but it was still having problems. While I did not want to replace my entire AC system that was what need to happen. This is the second time I’ve used Dan Chapman and his company. We replaced the unit for our 1st floor in 2013. It’s still running great!! We opted to go with the smart thermostat and added one on the 1st floor unit as well. Trane has great products and Chapman Service provides great service. Give Dan and his team a call, you will not regret that you did.

Very expensive for service call type work. Charged over $500 to replace a thermostat and capacitor. $120 to just show up and diagnose, then $215 to replace the thermostat and another $147 to replace the capacitor (and of course, tax on top of that). On the positive side, I was able to book the service call on a very short notice, and I think their quality of work is also decent. However, that doesn't justify having to pay a company such exorbitant amount (barely took them about 40 minutes to get everything done). I know other reputed companies in the area that charge much less (I had a thermostat replaced recently by another company so I know). Granted, they told me how much the cost would be before doing the job and I did agree to that (what option does someone have when the AC goes out on a hot day), however it's still a high price given the simplicity of the job. Edit in response to owner's reply: "Thank you for allowing Chapman Servcie the oppertuneity to repaire your two commerical systems. With the two systems being in different buildings, there was two seperate Diagnostic Fees." This is not true. Only ONE system was diagnosed and serviced (the other building was not accessible at the time). So whatever you charged was for one system (building) only. I hired another company later to service the other system and their fees were much lower. So I'm only speaking from my own experience when I say the fees I was charged by your company was higher than usual.

From Day 1 my experience with Chapman Service has been outstanding! When they came out to do the estimate, Dakota was checking the exterior AC unit and noticed something unusual with the relief drain for my hot water heater- something he did not have to notice or comment on. We went to my hot water heater and sure enough it needed to be replaced immediately! If he hadn’t mentioned it- it could have created a much more costly problem . He went above and beyond what he was asked to do. While I am in the process of saving up for the Trane unit package I want- I asked if they would be willing to install a couple of window a/c units which were installed within an hour this morning by Mr Dan Chapman and another staff member. They were courteous, professional and set the standard in customer service in my opinion. I look forward to replacing my entire system with Chapman Service soon!! Thank you!!

Chapman Service recently install a new HVAC system in our home. I highly recommend them to everyone. The equipment works wonderfully; they corrected our duct work so that our rooms are now properly heated and cooled. Every room in the house is comfortable now, which was not always the case before. Just as important as the equipment is the way we were treated. From the workers who initially came out on the call to the owner who oversaw the install, everyone was incredibly respectful and conscientous. Chapman Service has certainly earned my loyalty!

I believe this is the second time that we have used Chapman Service. The first time was trouble with the AC which turned out to be the control board being bad, the system was not installed by Chapman Service and at the time was 12 years old. They were able to source the parts for the system and get the air running again the next day. This time around the system was 14 years old and a sensor was failing telling the control board that the furnace was getting too hot and shutting down the system, and a small gas leak from a crack somewhere in the system was allowing gas to leak and leave a white residue inside the unit. Both times, they were able to get to investigate the issue the same day that we called for help and get us a proposed solution and estimates with in a few moments. This time, we opted to replace the aging system with a new Trane system and thanks to John, Dakota, and Jacob they were able to have the old system out and the new one up and running within the day. Both times, I'm ashamed to say, they were not our first call for help. The first time we didn't know who to call, and the second time we had two contacts (the one we called and they never showed up or Chapman Service) and like the first time, we guessed made an appointment and they did not show up...again, so we called Chapman Service and they were there to help in no time. We now have enough decals and cards, I don't think we will forget who we will call first next time. Thank you installation crew, Ms. Misty in the office for keeping us informed and scheduled, and Mr. Dan for getting us the estimates to us so quickly.

Mr. Dan Chapman was involved in the entire process of replacing our heating/air conditioning system and was always willing to answer any question. I called Chapman Service when my AC broke down. They are very knowledgeable, professional and well trained in HVAC and are Master Electricians as well. They provided timely service and installed state of the art equipment. They showed up on time with a full crew and finished ahead of schedule. And their prices beat the competition by several thousand dollars. They do all manner of electrical contracting work. I used them to install lights, outlets, fans and cabinet lighting. They did everything they said they would do and it all came out perfect with no surprises or delays. They really are experts in their field which gives the client a lot of confidence in their work. And they are very pleasant and courteous, whether you just have a question or need work done. They are a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them.

After being away for the 4th of July I returned home at 8pm on the 5th to find my air conditioning was out. I called Chapman Service and they were at my home in less than 30 minutes. The owner called me to give me the name of the technician , let me know he was on his way and what the truck would look like that the technician was driving . John got my air conditioning back on in about 15 minutes and was polite and professional. Great service after hours. I will definitely use them again.

Our Unit finally gave up just in time for a massive heat index advisory. Chapman was able to come out to look and install a new unit within 2 days. The company we generally went with wouldn’t be able to get a unit for 10 days! The techs installed my a/c and came back later to do the heater due to the need to fix a lot of people’s A/C. They were back about 4 weeks later to get the heat running. Our new unit is great. Both A/C and Heater work and my son loves the new thermostat so he can check the weather. Thus far there have been no problems and everyone I encountered was extremely courteous and helpful.

Chapman's sent out technician Jordan right away. We had a thunderstorm and experienced a power surge that shorted out two outlets. In short. I love them. For my initial installation in 2016 Dan came out and was very thorough and attentive to match our needs and budget to their product line. No pressure sale. Every time we are serviced the young men are timely, courteous, asking for entry to the areas they need to access. They also present the estimate and require a signature before beginning. I love that. Afterwards they have always explained what was done, give space for questions, and actually answer them. I love that I feel like my business matters to them.

I can't describe how grateful I am to these guys. Our ancient HVAC system gave up the ghost on Friday, November 14, 2014 -- I remember because it was the day before my son's birthday and the first cold snap of fall. I had resigned myself to a chilly weekend, but had guests coming into town so I thought I'd try calling. I called at 10 a.m. and Chapman Service had someone at my house by 1 p.m. We had a contract signed by late afternoon and they got to work right away. They worked late hours and a weekend to take care of us. Their service guys are the most professional I have ever seen out of any home services company, and they delivered what they promised, when they promised (or sooner).
