When our air stopped working, both blower and cooling unit yesterday evening, we assumed we'd be out of commission for the next few days, not a fun prospect in the Vegas heat. But they answered the phone outside of normal business hours at around 6am this morning, and had someone ready to come out between 12 and 2 (who also showed up at 11:30, huge kudos for coming early when available). They send out a text with the picture and a bio of your tech, as well as a tracker so we can see how long it will take for the tech to arrive, which is super cool. Love that service. Thomas, our tech, was awesome! He was knowledgeable and laid out as much information as possible, so we knew the how and why of what was happening. It didn't feel like it was a hard sell of things we didn't need in order to boost profits, which unfortunately is always a risk. All in all, 10/10 experience! Fast, friendly, professional, and reasonable pricing, what more could you ask for?

I believe in preventive maintenance, so I called a company I used last year to check my AC and furnace, and to my surprise they said they were going out of business. I asked if they could recommend another AC/HVAC company; they recommended Windy City. I called Windy City and joined its Premier Club to have spring and fall inspections. Windy City did a great job, and the technician was thorough and professional. I am a very satisfied Windy City customer, and you will be too!

My air conditioner went out on Saturday July 3 (of course on a holiday weekend). A friend of mine recommended Windy City so I called them about 5:30 pm and they said they would call me on Sunday July 4th at 8 am to set up a time for a tech to come out (this is the point where I know it’s going to cost a fortune due to it being a holiday and on a Sunday). Windy City called at 8 am and the tech was at my home before 9 am. Thomas was awesome - very professional, great personality and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. He had my air conditioner up and running in less than an hour and it didn’t break the bank. I don’t write many reviews but the outstanding customer service from Windy City went above and beyond my expectations. When you run a business and put your customers first - without seeing it as an opportunity to make a few extra bucks - that to me is first class service. I will recommend this company to everyone and will continue to use them in the future. Thank you!!!

Anyone looking to have experienced, caring and professional help with ANY issues related to HVAC service...Look no further than Vern and Windy City. There are a few good HVAC companies out there but NONE will Care about YOU as much as Windy City. They will be there on time, they will be polite and they will fix whatever is ailing your system. Once you try Windy City...you will never look anywhere else for help!

Contacted Vern, he came as a referral, and I am so grateful. He came right out and was extremely professional, knowledgeable and their services were at a fair price. (I shopped around and they were the most comprehensive and at the right price) Vern explained in detail what would be needed to get my air conditioning/furnace system back on line. The team that came out, special thanks to Andy, Bruce and Juan, these guys were terrific. It was a big job, but they worked late and non stop until it was completed. windy city air conditioning and heating was one of 3 companies that gave us quotes when we wanted to revamp our system to get rid of the cold areas. They were very professional and came up with ideas and information we had not considered. There bid and recommendations were less than the other two but the quality of their work far exceeded our expectations. The crew was supervised and professional at all times. They even came in under budget. Since the original work the unit under warranty had a problem. The part was of course not the usual size. They went above and beyond to find one locally and get the heat back on. Their communication is excellent as to job updates, cost, parts, arrival times. You are never left wondering what is happening because they let you know. I have recommended Windy City to anyone who will listen and will continue to use them in the future. If you want someone who is honest, trustworthy and backs up their work look no further.

Our heating went out this winter and our home warranty service was totally useless. They took 2 weeks, the HVAC company they referred was helpless and waiting on the home warranty company. After being cold in the house for 2 weeks and spending countless hours on hold with the home warranty company, we decided that we'll just get it done by another company outside of our warranty. We were referred to Windy City Air by a family member and decided to call. They had 3 vans at our home the very next day. They showed us exactly what was wrong. We appreciated their honesty and decided to ask about our air conditioning unit, since it was the same age as the heater. It was very old too, and we didn't want to chance it, so we decided to replace that as well. We were so pleased with the work Windy City did in our home! They were very pleasant, neat, and efficient. My husband would hang around them as they were doing it asking questions. They'd give him an in-depth explanation as to why. Basically it was better to do things right than just to get them working, as it'll help the longevity of the system. They came back months later to add more gas for the air conditioning unit (since it they could only get a certain amount in, in the Winter weather). Thank you Windy City! Great all around, and would highly recommend them!

I had recently requested that Windy City come out to my residence for annual maintenance with the coupon. The technician was nice and customer service was great but they did state after inspection that my unit was on its last limb and that normally they would be able to replace the blower motor and fan blade and capacitor out but with it being an old unit from 1994 they are unable to order the parts and that we would have to replace the whole unit if and when the parts do fail. I immediately called my home warranty company to have one of their contracted companies come out and I would try and get it replaced through my home warranty. Well the company they sent out was able to order the parts and install, now my unit is working perfectly and my wallet still has money in it. I don’t know why Windy City couldn’t but another hvac company that’s well known could. But conclusion Windy City has great customer service and technician but wish they were able to order parts for older units.

Windy City Air was one of a number of air conditioning (A/C) companies that were referred to me from time to time by my home warranty company. Over time, I got to see how they compared with other A/C companies and always felt more secure with Windy City. They always managed to find the problem, fix it and I never had to call them back or call the warranty company to report poor workmanship as I did several times with other companies sent out to make repairs. Over time the warranty company and Windy City parted ways, but I was so impressed with the techs that Windy City sent out that I decided to make them my maintenance company for heating and air. During a recent inspection, the technician reported to me that several components were worn and would like fail this summer and that I should be mindful in any change in functional performance and contact my warranty company. I called and spoke with the CEO, Paula, and told her I would like a quote on both the replacement of those components her tech found to be likely to fail and the cost of an entirely new A/C system. She turned the request around in one day and I received quotes for both. Paula asked me if I had any questions but did not pressure me to make a decision. About a week later I decided to go for replacement parts and asked Paula if she could get her techs to re-route my secondary drain pan lines to another part of the house on the same day they came to replace failing components. She agreed and we scheduled a mutually convenient time to get all the work done in one day. Two technicians came at 7AM promptly, their scheduled arrival time, and they were ready to work. They introduced themselves, put mats on my floors so they would not soil the floors they used to access areas of the house they needed to go through. That showed a sign of respect for property. They asked me if there was anything I would like to bring to their attention about the job to be sure there were no misunderstandings of what was to be done. That shows professionalism. They worked the entire day stopping for only 10 minutes to eat lunch and they brought their own drinks too. That shows preparation and a commitment to getting the job done. I mentioned at the outset that I needed to leave the house by 4:30 and they assured me that it was hard for them to predict but they would do all they can to respect the timetable. And they left the premises spotless at 4:30 exactly with a fully functional A/C system and a very satisfied customer. If you need a hassle-free heating and air conditioning company, call Windy City in Las Vegas. It's the only place I know where the CEO talks with you directly and extends herself to make certain her customers are truly satisfied.

I called them first thing in the morning Monday, June 4th, and a service professional was at my trailer at 11:30a.m. the same day. I was very happy to be given the truth that I simply needed a repair and the coils cleaned, instead of a completely new unit. Javier Lopez was quick and efficent, and very courteous as well. When our a/c went out during a very hot August day, we needed to find someone fast. Windy City was totally booked but said they be at our house before the days end. Best of all Tammy kept me updated on how things were going time wise. About 7:30pm our serviceman rang the bell. He found the problem to be just a capacitor and fixed it immediately. There it was, over and done with no hype, no trying to sell us something, just fixed the problem and gone. We were so pleased. Thanks WindyCity. Nice to have good old fashioned "Chicago" service again in the desert.

What a releif to find a company that doesn't over sell the service. As a small business owner i need to watch every dollar. Windy City Air conditioning came out to my business (on time) gave me there price to do a three year service agreement (per my lease).Not only was it the best deal but with there Discount Club offer I saved even more money.I was so impressed with every one I talked with from the office to the worker that came out, I decided to go ahead and have them service my home as well. Great Job. The worker that came out to the house noticed that we take our shoes off and with out asking him he came prepared with slip on boots to protect the carpet. Very nice touch. We definitely give Windy City a 5 star rating! We had many quotes for a new air conditoner, and they came in thousands below the others, proving the others were trying to rip us off. Windy City installed a beautiful Lenox a/c about two years ago and it has slashed our a/c bills dramatically. We have also used them twice a year for maintenance. They always call to set up an appointment in the spring and fall, show up on time and do a fantastic job. The unit was installed flawlessley and works beautifully. Their service people are prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I would advise anyone to use this company - you cannot go wrong.

The technician was very knowledgeable but the repair cost was very high. The company wanted 1000 dollars to replace a capacitor, the disconnect, and the contactor. Bought the parts for about a 100 dollars and did the work myself.

Highly recommended!!! called and was greeted not by staff, but by the owner himself. At call back,the staff was up front and friendly, called 10 minutes prior to arrival as stated had the situation diagnosed within 10 minutes after arriving offered an "if it was mine scenario" let me choose $ options and was completed in under an hour.
