THANK YOU for being honest!!!! Our upstairs air went out. I called 1-Hour Air, they checked out my unit and told me it would be about $5000 to fix the compressor and new coolant or a new machine for $11k.
I wanted a second opinion and called Legacy Air. SO happy I did! They came right out. Checked the unit. 10 minutes later told me they already fixed the part on the compressor for $370 and that was it. My air was back on!!
They also checked out my downstairs unit and noticed some things. They answered all my questions about getting new units and didn't try to overbid me or sell me anything.
So refreshing to see an honest company! So grateful they saved mw so much money! Their employee was clean cut, professional, and well spoken.

I would definitely recommend this company. All of the staff are fantastic. Our air conditioner went out during the heat and humidity and they were able to fit us in on a Saturday and install the new unit. The technician was Miguel and he was fabulous. Our furnace quit working so I called Legacy Air and they had an appointment available the next day. Jason came out and was excellent. He arrived on time, communicated every step of the process well and performed thorough work. I had a previous company come out before and they told me the repairs I needed were expensive enough that I should just replace the entire system and they tried selling me an entire new system. Jason was honest about the repairs and the repair estimate was half the price of the other company. I asked Jason if he thought the system needed replaced and he said he looked it over while he repaired it and everything was working the way it is supposed to so there was no need to replace it. Good honest work. Legacy Air will continue to get my business going forward.

I called Legacy Air for heating issues. They scheduled an appointment for the next day. The technician called a few minutes before the appointment and said he was on his way. Upon arrival Tommy began to work on the issue right away. I must say the Tommy was very professional and he wore all safety equipment While on premises. Tommy took the time to explain what the problem was how it would be fixed and how long it would take. Truly to his word my unit was repaired within an hour or so. Called this company for service because of a system malfunction indication on my AC unit's thermostat/ controller. Mike & Nathan responded the next day and I have to say, both of them were very courteous and professional. The system malfunction indication wasn't showing at the time of their visit. Mike did diagnostics on my system anyway and briefed me afterwards. All readings were within limits and the unit was working as it should. He suggested I call when the system malfunctions again. Mike answered all my questions. And there's no pressure to buy another unit unlike the approach other companies take. Thank you.

Four Stars for The technician, he was very professional and courteous. He replace my filters in the attic and cleaned and inspected my units outside. He told me that my capacitor was going bad and he could replace it now or wait to see how long it lasts. I chose to have it replaced, the part was under warranty but he said he had to charge me $80 for the service call. I paid them $300 for their annual membership to have my filters replaced twice a year and get preferred pricing and priority service response time, i liked the offer and signed up. The tech was onsite for a scheduled maintenance service. I didn't call because my AC wasn't working. It took less than 5 minutes to replace the part and he was onsite. Why would you have to charge a customer $80. I think you need to revisit your fees, if the tech is there for maintenance, base the fee on time to make the needed repairs. I would gladly pay an additional $20 for the additional work but $80 is a little outrageous. NO 5th Star because of the charge to replace the capacitor.

Legacy Air has some great senior techs but Steve is Great! Thankfully nothing harsh was wrong with my heating system and it was something silly making noise, but it’s no longer making a LOUD noise due to filters being fitted via old fashioned means and I can be at ease with it.

I’ve used Legacy Air a couple of times in the past, recommended them multiple times, and was extremely pleased with their service, work quality, and above all, their integrity (they’ve fixed others bad work and always charged less). When my AC blower stopped working I called them and they had someone out the same day. The tech diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes, said it needed a new circuit board. After install, everything worked perfectly. I can tell you honestly, their customer service is top notch.

Legacy Air was able to troubleshoot, diagnose, formulate a plan, and schedule repairs, and still remain extremely cost effective ($500 repairs) within 30 mins of arriving today. This was after dealing with 3 separate home warranty assigned companies over the course of several months who claimed I needed $25,000-$30,000 for a completely new AC unit and full home ducting rework. My only regret was not going to Legacy Air first and ditching the home warranty. They are incredible at what they do now have a lifelong customer!!

Hunter is very professional. Arrived within 15 minutes of the time I was texted for their arrival. Came in wearing face mask and put on booties. Showed him where the problem was with one of thermostats. Informed me of ths problem and showed me what the items that needed to be replaced. I approved and he left to go get parts and returned in a timely manner. Replaced and went over the areas to make sure cool air was flowing.

We called them to have our unit serviced. They informed us that they have an annual service deal for $180 that includes two service calls per year and priority for service. The tech who came to our house was very courteous and explained what he was going to be doing and how long it was going to take before he began. When he finished, he went over the suggested service issues. Our unit is 23 years old, so we plan to replace it whenever it bites the dust. The service is a good value for what you get and worth the money. Our next service is scheduled in 6 months. The best part is they are listed on the NVENERGY website as a contractor that will qualify for a rebate if you purchase a new unit. No complaints from us. I have to commend him for coming out and working in 110 degree heat.

We made the mistake of calling another company (APM) and when the man was here we went into our attic to check out our system looking for a leak. The leak turned out to be a pluming issue but after he left we noticed the up stairs thermostat was off and the ac wasn't on at all. We called them back and they said they couldn't come back for 2 days. As it turned out when he exited the attic he must've bumped the power plug and unplugged the upstairs unit but we didn't know this, we just knew it wasn't working.
So we called Legacy on a Sunday morning and Technician Dave came to our house. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, we paid for it, and he was gone in no time being totally honest about what the problem was. Thank you!!! We have found our ac company!!!

My first experience w/legacy- my furnace had preventive maintenance and is in great shape, according to the tech. As a former consultant to the HVAC industry, I learned about many firms operating on the model of cheap clean & checks and techs on commission trying to up-sell. That does not seem to be the case with Legacy, and I am thrilled I found an honest firm! Keep your equipment maintained- it really is worth it, both for energy bills and life of equipment, and Legacy's annual plan is well worth the $!

We had a great experience with this company. Our AC stopped blowing cold air and we were told the unit was completely flat. The timing could not have been worse since we had a 4 week old newborn in the house and we didn’t have a whole lot of time to shop around. We got a couple quotes and theirs was by far the best and most fair. On the day of installation, we were given the installation time frame to plan on and the technicians arrived right on time and were able to knock out the job in a couple hours. From beginning to end, the customer service was on point and definitely made a difficult situation a little less stressful.

helpful with all questions and she was able to schedule us in a timely manner. They sent Hunter out and I cannot recommend him enough. He's obviously knowledgeable and gave me some good pointers on how my system worked and what to watch out for if something went wrong. He was transparent with the quote. All around, this was a solid experience with a helpful company. We parted ways and I had learned a few new things in the time he was here.

Technician efficiently diagnosed the issue and provided a variety of solutions in several price points. He was knowledgeable and able to explain the situation to us in layman's terms. No up selling, but he did tell us about the maintenance program offered through Legacy as it would save us money on parts we would need to repair our system. It seems like a good deal as well (they even provide air filters for the whole year for quarterly replacement!). Our parts need to be ordered, so we'll be seeing someone again next week to complete the job.

Our a/c had gone out during a heat wave. I take care of my 92 year old dad and needed someone quickly and who was reliable. I researched companies and found Legacy Air to have the most accurate and positive reviews. I called them and from the beginning, the customer service was excellent (Thanks Leslie!). Legacy had Justin out to our home within a couple hours. After assessing the problem and actually showing me the work that needed to be done, he presented us with a bid. We accepted and within an hour, another tech arrived with two, temporary cooling units for our home. The day of install, they were early and worked until they were done with the job. The bid presented was exactly the price we paid, the warranties exceeded our expectations and the work was done well. The only problem I encountered was the clean up effort and the spray paint/insulation that was sprayed on my grass. Overall, I would recommend this company highly and have referred them to family and a neighbor.

My AC stopped working on 5/14/22 and I called a company that had an add in my church bulletin and was told my 7 year old unit had to be replaced.
My son suggested I call Legacy Air. Since I was told I needed a new unit I requested a salesman. Charles came out the next day and I apologized telling him I could not afford a new unit and wanted my unit repaired. I'm 75 years and was very upset and confused that my 7 year old AC unit was not working. Charles set up and appointment for my unit to be diagnosed the next day. On 5/17/22, Juan came out and replaced the dual capacitor in my AC unit. My air conditioner is working and I didn't need a new unit. Thanks to Legacy Air an honest company with great customer service.

I received a call from Legacy Airconditioning to schedule my seasonal Heating/Airconditioning system check. This service is included in the annual membership that I pay for. There was no difficulty scheduling an appointment that was convenient for me. The technician, Charlie was running early and was respectful enough to call ahead to make sure his early arrival was okay. Charlie showed up looking professional. He was respectful of our home and worked quickly.
I've lived in Henderson for 20 years and have used other HVAC companies. I have been using Legacy exclusively for the past six years. They are not the least expensive but I am willing to pay a little more for professional, polite, respectful, competent service.

The install went smoothly, the unit works beautifully and our power bills have been significantly reduced with this more efficient unit. The technician, Damoreyah Holmes was here this morning to run the annual system check and he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and very polite. Liz is the reason I choose Legacy Air, her constant search for clarity even extended to calling the distributor for production dates on my furnace & A/C units. 5 Team Members represented by Abe Duran
The team arrived on time, each member knew exactly what needed to be done and worked with absolute purpose!! The Team used care when entering my home lying down protective covering on my floors as well as wearing shoe covering in every area they accessed. The Team unwrapped my new equipment with care and disposed of old equipment once it was removed, installation was seamless. The A/C Technician even discovered a pipe that allows water to evacuate the system was missing. The Technician found that it was stuccoed over by original construction 21 years ago. He repaired it and got it operating correctly. They cleaned up all areas of access.

Abe Duran went over every detail on his device it was a very stress free process. We received a copy of our contract in an email 30 minutes later. The email came complete with pictures of our installation and QR code’s. In the email we also received a receipt of our payment.

My heater would turn off after a couple of hours. The home warranty contractors were out here 5 times and could find nothing. I called Legacy because a friend said that they were thorough and honest. Nicholas took the time to write a detailed report of all the issues with pictures so my home warranty company could come back and fix things. Some of the issues- rust, life span (it’s 25 years old), R22 refill, and inefficiency (7 seer) would suggest considering a new unit in the future. I asked him to price out a new system. He used all available discounts and rebates to get me an incredibly fair price on an American Standard 16 seer unit. I started getting estimates from other companies. I called Justin at Legacy to discuss additional options from air quality to alternate heating. Justin explained that they use high quality parts because it reduces my headaches down the road. Their estimate came in far less than competitors. Best price + best in class equipment + great warranty + kind and knowledgeable customer service = a clear choice to use Legacy Air. Install day was set for the next week. They installed it yesterday. They were quick! Miguel was very professional. He explained what to expect and the steps they would be doing. He was respectful of covid protocols and my house. Justin checked in to confirm that there were no unforeseen hiccups. They tested the unit and cleaned up better than they found it. I’m really happy and satisfied with Legacy. 10/10 for every aspect. I only wish I had found them earlier.

Very impressed with this company for the second time now!! We have two air conditioners for our home. They replaced one unit a few years ago and just replaced our second unit yesterday. They arrived a few minutes early from their stated arrival time of 7am and started work immediately. Three employees came and installed a new air conditioning unit and two new thermostats in just under six hours (estimate was 6-8 hours). So they arrived a few minutes early and completed the work on the low end of their estimated time! Loved that! They were able to use a back door and so my family was able to utilize all but the one room they needed access to that whole time as well. I really can’t recommend them enough!

This was my first experience with Legacy Air. I had heard good things about the company and its workers and decided to try them. I wasn't disappointed! My two technicians, Hunter and Jason, were extremely professional, courteous, and efficient in completing the semiannual inspection and preventative maintenance on my HVAC system. They carefully explained what they were doing, checked every part of my system, and clearly described what they found and the recommendations them had. I will definitely continue using Legacy Air and highly recommend it for HVAC work!
Jason back to do some additional work. Outside temp was over 105. I'm sure the attic temp was over 110! Jason accomplished his task in spite of the heat! I kept him hydrated with nice cold bottles of water. That's the least I could do in the conditions he was working in. Thanks Jason and Legacy Air!

I called Legacy Air at 8:40 am this morning because my main air conditioning unit was not working. I spoke with Liz, who is great, at the office and she was able to schedule an appointment for me between noon and 4:00 pm. I received a call and an email around 12:20 pm when the technician, Richard Hernandez, was on his way. Richard was outstanding! He was able to diagnose my problem and make the necessary repair which unfortunately did involve going into the attic on the hottest day of the year so far. I've used Legacy Air for years and have never been disappointed in their service, professionalism or responsiveness. Both Liz and Richard were great to deal with.

Great experience !! Starting from when I called to make an appointment until the job was done was a breath of fresh air. I don't remember the name of the person I spoke with when making the appointment, but she is very friendly and professional. The technician's name is Colby. He is also very friendly and professional. He showed up early and went to work immediately to solve my heating issue. He had it fixed in no time and explained the cause of the malfunction to me. I ended up signing up for their maintenance service because of the excellent service I got. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Robert called himself to tell me he was on his way. Very nice, very professional, and HONEST. He diagnosed the problem in under a minute. He could have told me I needed a whole new unit and I would have believed him. I would not have known any better. Instead, Robert was able to make a much less expensive repair and within the hour, the kids and I had perfect air conditioning again. So happy with Legacy Air. I am never calling anyone else.

Javier exemplifies everything a home owner is looking for when your dealing with something major to your home. I can go on and on about the amazing experience but I can assure you Legacy Air and Javier will educate and walk you through the entire process. Any questions I had were answered in great detail. After the service we received our membership invoice we signed up for and a detailed inspection report with clear pictures. We knew our home was older and the systems as well. We asked Legacy Air to come inspect our AC equipment for the upcoming summer. They were very accommodating with scheduling around our schedule. We had several companies come out to give us similar services but they do not compare to Legacy. Based on what we were trying to get accomplished they said they would send a senior technician to our property. Richard came out and was very polite and more importantly very knowledgeable. He went through our entire system from the duct work and blowers in the attic to the units outside. He did a fantastic job of explaining what he was doing so we could understand and also gave us information on ways to save money on our system. Richard was able to fix the issues we had while he was here. We were told by other companies we needed to replace our AC system immediately. Richard was honest with us and said the system was running fine and we were in no need to replace it unless we wanted to spend the money to upgrade. It is nice to know that there are companies out there who are still honest and are not just looking to scare customers into doing/purchasing something they do not need. I can tell you when we do need to purchase a new AC system we will be calling Legacy Air to do it.

Since we began using Legacy Air for our HVAC maintenance, our A/C units have performed properly throughout the year. We used to always need a space heater in our bathroom, but not anymore. Whether it was Stacy or Damoreyeh, the technicians have been friendly, professional and exceptionally helpful. I completely recommend using this company for service on your HVAC system and if you can afford it, utilize their maintenance program. For $300 a year, it's well worth it.

Rating: 5++++++. I have been a customer for many years and every time Legacy Air makes a service or preventive appointment, I have even more reasons to use them. #1 Reason: TRUSTWORTHINESS. I have a service plan and it includes winter/summer services. I have gone years without anything being needed or recommended. As a contrast, the company I used before (NOT Legacy Air) always had “urgent” items that were “required” for my safety. On the other hand, Legacy Air always and carefully reviews areas to be watched and their comments/recommendations always include various options... “do this now, hold that until Summer, etc.” When they tell me I need something, I trust their recommendation 100%. How many people can say that about a vendor?!
Their technical side is matched by their service and follow up. Appointment reminders are sent prior to the meeting. On the day of the appointment I get a notice that includes the name & photo of the technician and a firm time, when possible. On the few occasions I needed to reschedule, it was no problem. The office is always polite, courteous and friendly.
They hit all the bases and I highly recommend them. I am not an employee, family member or friend of the company and I have no association with them! Just pleased to have them helping me maintain costs and climate control!

We encountered a/c issues the day we moved in to a new rental. The management company called Legacy for the repair. I received an email, call, and text from the Legacy customer service center, including the name and picture of the technician.
Javier called ahead of arrival to communicate his expected arrival time. Upon arriving, he courteously introduced himself, was friendly and had full knowledge of the reported issue. Javier checked the faulting unit, provided his diagnosis, made recommendations, then contacted the management company for approval. This was our first time using Legacy and we were very pleased. Dave came out to the house and he was very thorough and honest and took the time to explain everything to us. It turned out we just had a leak in one of our units prior to using Legacy the last company we had was very quick to tell us we just needed to replace the whole unit. The two gentlemen who visited my property to ensure that my AC unit was up and running for my first bi-annual check-up as a new homeowner were phenomenal. I have a townhome built in the 70's. Before contacting Legacy, another local AC company told me that my unit on my house was 24 years old and needed replacing, although my AC (knock on wood) had been running fine. After asking the Legacy crew how everything was going, they said, "Just fine! Your unit is from 2018, so no wonder your air is working so well." The other company lied to me. Legacy didn't. They were honest. These guys even removed some older extension cords that were left up there from old Christmas lights from the previous occupant. I really appreciated their promptness, politeness, and professionalism. They went above and beyond, and I'm happy for them to return in the fall for my next check-up. Also, they let me know that if I purchased a smart-thermostat, they'd be able to install it for me. I'd been thinking about doing that and wasn't sure that I'd be able to do it on my own. Daryle is a high quality technician. For my leaking AC, I originally had a different HVAC company assigned to me through my warranty. Legacy Air, in my opinion, is the best in Las Vegas. Been a happy and satisfied customer since 2014. Dave, the owner, personally came to give an estimate for my 83 year old mom so she didn’t have to suffer any longer than necessary on the same day as call. How many owners would do that? Amazing! I wish I could give this company more than five stars because I would. Early in the morning I awoke freezing and noticed that my heater was no longer working. I have two little girls, with one being a newborn, so having a freezing house was completely unacceptable. From word of mouth and after reviewing the company’s website, I decided to give them a call. From the very first moment I was being treated like family. I spoke with Amanda on the phone and explained to her my situation without heat in my home and a newborn baby. She gave me personalized service and explained that they were a family operated and own business. She made me feel, as a mom herself, that she understood my need to get my heat back on quickly. An appointment with one of their technicians was quickly arranged. I received a call thirty minutes before my appointment time by a technician named Dean and he informed me that he was the tech from legacy air and that he would be arriving within thirty minutes. Dean arrived on time with a very friendly, polite personality, a clean uniform, clearly marked work van and professional appearance. This not only made him easy to identify as the technician for Legacy but made me feel comfortable as a mom home with her kids. My heating problem was quickly diagnosed and repaired within an hour. With Legacy Air, they provided an amazing service in a timely manner all awhile giving an affordable price. I could go on and on as I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. My husband and I realized something was wrong with our air conditioning unit late Saturday night. I saw the excellent reviews for Legacy Air so called them at 8 am Sunday morning. They said they could have someone out between 10 am and 1 pm. At 9:40 am I received the text message that Junior was on his way! Junior took excellent care of us. He was courteous, diagnostically thorough, transparent, honest and helpful. He got our air working again and gave us excellent advice on taking care of it going forward. ***Update: Today (4/17) Legacy Air came back to do handyman work on the access to the attic. Since the units were larger than the original opening they had to cut into the drywall. Javier and his helper Francisco came out and repaired the opening. I am so pleased with the finish, the opening use to be recessed but now it is flushed with the rest of the ceiling and framed with moulding. I love the final outcome and is a hundred times better than the original. This whole experience with Legacy Air has been excellent from the beginning to end! Thank you Legacy Air for a job well done! ***Update: Today (9/25). Javier performed my winter service for our new system. Javier was very professional, courteous and answered all my questions. I had them out to my home, (inexpensive/affordable) they fixed my drains quickly. I liked the service Josh, the tech, was providing so I asked about the A.C. service Legacy provides. Josh gave me excellent information about keeping the A.C. in proper working conditions.
I paid for yearly membership, which includes twice a years (AC/heating) service. And allows you a big discount on any service you may want or need. I had them clean my air ducts, Wow, what a big difference.
I have highly recommended Legacy Air to my family and neighbors. I hope you will give them a try for Plumbing and A.C. work.

Legacy air recently placed two new units 5ton and a 4 ton. The new unit had issues with its compressor. They replaced it without issues the AC was working fine but when the tech rechecked it it had some pressure issues. The AC was working fine so I did not know this. The tech was very honest and reported that they wanted to replace the coils otherwise I would have problems in the future. I will tell you that most techs and companies in this town do not do this. They typically just ignore the problem and wait for the owner to deal with it. This company cares about their reputation. They place a 3 ton in my house 5 years ago. Has not had any issues and they are very very professional. Really liked junior the tech who took care of me. Very personable and professional. But a very high quality company with very competitive rates. I've referred about 6 to 7 other jobs to them and all if them have given Legacy to marks. This is the only AC company I would use in Las Vegas because you can count on them when things go bad and not just when things go good. I don't usually write reviews but for this company it was a pleasure.

Legacy Air continues to impress and prove they are worth their 5-star ratings! Richard arrived promptly and got to doing his winter maintenance check on our system right away. He finished in about a half hour, detailed everything he did and took pictures of his work. He answered all my questions regarding our system and possibly replacing the system should it fail (it is 13+ years old). He offered to install new air filters (I declined since the old ones not due yet), and also left enough air filters to last us until our next check up in 6 months, which is part of their annual maintenance plan. He was very neat and professional, put booties on while working, was very friendly and courteous, thanked us for calling Legacy Air and mentioned about leaving a positive review if we were pleased with his work (yes, we were!). I have used Legacy Air three times now: First, one of my A/C units stopped working, then two year later I had a fan motor break down, and most recently, my upstairs heat wouldn’t turn on. Legacy Air responded to each issue in a prompt and professional way. Junior took the time to explain what went wrong and how to minimize further issues. The customer service was excellent and the pricing extremely fair. I cannot recommend enough!

First of all let me say that I would have left a five star review except for the fact that my air conditioner went out on a Saturday afternoon and I had a great deal of difficulty getting a hold of the company. They have an emergency phone line that I called and all I got was a voicemail that had a full mailbox. I then texted them at a 24 hour response text number and didn't get a response until the next day. When I did get in touch with them they made me an appointment for Sunday afternoon which was then rescheduled to 7 AM Monday morning.
The technician arrived promptly on Monday morning and diagnosed and fixed the problem in under 30 minutes. Regardless of the fact that I felt I should've been able to get a hold of them over the weekend and at least get a response, I really do like this company and think they're a very good HVAC company. I've been a customer for three years, I'm a member of their monthly membership program which I feel is a very good value. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anybody who needs a new air conditioner or their existing one repaired.

Justin came by and I was able to explain what I had been dealing with. He immediately took a look, made a multitude of notes and calculations, discussed what he was seeing, and asked enough questions that I believe he was able to see what I had been going through for 1.5 years and multiple a.c. companies. When he left, I felt like a solution was immanent. No other AC service I had worked with made me feel confident it would be solved like Justin did.
Update: Justin came on Monday, a decent estimate came in Monday night, Tuesday a brief phone call with Dave to explain a few items for me had me agreeing to do the work and an appointment was scheduled for Friday. On Wednesday morning I received a call saying they had a cancellation and could start at noon that day. At 11:45 am I had men on my roof dismantling the old system and by 4:45pm my house was cooling off and the work was done.
I am amazed at their work. These men built a new stand, raised my unit higher in roof, redid the ducts, and all in 2 days. Justin's initial appointment Monday was 2 to 5 and he was spot on at 2pm. After talking finer points with Dave (owner or manager?) He personally came out to measure roof for new stand and accessories and took the time to answer more questions. The team of men, including Justin, to install everything were true professionals. They had been recommended to me by several people and now I recommend them to you.

I requested a tune/checkup for my two units, preparing for the long summer ahead. Since it wasn't an emergency, it took a couple weeks for the appointment. Norris promptly showed up on time and was very knowledgeable about our units and answered all the questions we had. He did have a few recommendations but noted it wasn't something that needed done right away. I had a recommendation from a friend that had used Legacy Air and am very happy we decided to go with them. I will have them out again in the fall to check our heating units and clean the ducts as well.

We have been very happy with Legacy Air for a number of years. We have them maintain our ACHV system twice per year. In the past we have had AC stop working because of normal capacitor breakdowns. Their semi annual maintenance identifies capacitors that are starting to fail and we replace them before they do so we have no surprise AC outages.

Update: Manuel and his crew did a fabulous job! The rating does not change. They worked quick! They were a little early but I had already approved that since they would be working in an attic and it would be hot. Bonus: a crew member went above and and beyond and helped me move a twin bed mattress and trundle support from the third floor on a break. He offered so nicely. Amazing employees. My AC went out Sunday Knight. I called Monday morning they had an appointment available but the time didn't work for me so we scheduled for Tuesday. They came 2hrs earlier then appointment time which was great. Richard Hernandez was my tech. He was informative and polite. Explained everything perfectly for me. Yesterday, Legacy Air, air-conditioning arrived early and stayed late to fix my air conditioning units.
My technician, Francisco, was professional and thorough. He arrived wearing gloves and face covering. (The company texted both his his arrival time and a picture of him). He was on time. He stayed late double checking second unit and Freon levels. I have lived in Vegas over a dozen years; Legacy Air is by far the best company I have ever used. I would like to tell why I gave Legacy Air a five star rating. Junior was my technician today and came to troubleshoot an issue with my air conditioning unit. First though, when I called the office they were so efficient and were able to get me in the very next day! The middle of Summer too! Junior was able from my description of the problem figure out I was not getting enough air in one room. He went in the attic and found pieces of sheet metal which had apparently been there forever blocking the air flow!! How smart!!!! He also took the time to explain what would make my unit run more effectively. And talk about reasonable rates! Unheard of! I would definitely recommend him and this company to anyone that needs heat or air conditioner service!

I received a personal phone call telling me the results, and suggesting that I have them come out on a yearly basis to do a check up, since we appear to have a very slow leak, one that would be difficult to find, and that check ups would keep us operating at top efficiency and protect our valuable investment. I am amazed at the integrity of Legacy Air. It turns own that the leak earlier this year was not fully addressed, and this time, Legacy Air took full ownership of the repair!
One night, a few weeks ago, as I was leaving a bedroom upstairs, I felt a drop of water hit my forehead. I looked up and noticed a tiny crack in the ceiling with some moisture around it. After lingering for a few minutes and noticing no new drop beginning to form, I went to bed thinking that I would call my handyman for a minor drywall patch-and-paint job. The next morning, craters and bubbles were beginning to form in the ceiling, multiple drops were falling, and I contacted my handyman to ask whether he had a contact in the air conditioning industry who could come immediately. I didn't want to call Legacy Air because I felt that they didn't fix the problem before and were counting on taking advantage of me. I was prepared to incur a new expense if only this would be fixed once and for all. Fortunately, as it would turn out, my handyman's contacts never called me, and in desperation, I called Legacy Air again. By the time the technician, Francisco, arrived, the ceiling gave way to the water accumulating from the leak.
Junior, a technician who is so affable and informative, came back and soon advised me of two cracks in the drain pan. One was old and was possibly overlooked during the visit earlier this year. Here is the incredible part of my tale, though--Junior could have never told me about the second crack which was new, acknowledging that the technician earlier this year may have caused it while navigating the tight spot of my attic. I could have been at the mercy of Legacy Air had Junior not said anything; after all, what do I know about air conditioning units? He could have given me any false explanation that came to mind, and all I would have been able to do is say yes or no, stuck in a circumstance that a no would have resulted in the damage worsening. Junior promptly assured me that the owner, Dave, agreed to replace the pan and complete an additional repair to the coil at no cost; moreover, they would assume the cost of the ceiling repair! I was so impressed by their honesty and dedication to make things right for my disappointing experience earlier.
As soon as I had the ceiling repaired, I called the office to request the address so I may provide proof of costs for reimbursement. I asked the office manager, Leslie, for their address, ready to drive there and drop off copies of receipts and maybe even justify the expense--$750. Leslie cheerfully advised me to simply sent a text with photos so she could mail off my check immediately, and she apologized so sincerely for the previous experience. This was hassle-free! I just received the check today. Thank you, Dave, Junior, Colby and Francisco for your commitment! Legacy Air has a customer in me as long as they're around!

I am very happy with their service. Justin was very friendly and efficient. He took the time to explain the hvac systems that were offered and what a seer is and which would be best for my home. He also told me that our current units had coils that are involved in a class action lawsuit and provided me with the websight so I could file a claim. I have had many technicians service our ac units and this had never been brought to my attention. I think that this showed that Justin was knowledgeable in his job and respectful to his customers.
We ended up purchasing a new HVAC System through Legacy Air.
Manny and his crew showed up on time nad worked through the day to get our new system installed.(it rained). Manny and his crew were very respectful to me and our home. We’ve used Legacy AC twice before for minor issues and they were great. As usual, we couldn’t have asked for more. Justin came on time, and was incredibly professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He designed a great mini-split AC design for our garage, then we took a walk around our home for general purposes. Justin immediately saw the signs of a MAJOR issue that our home inspector missed when we bought the property 3 years ago. He climbed up in our ceiling and did an in-depth inspection. Bottom line, our home AC system was built using evaporators that were proven faulty in a class-action lawsuit before we bought the home. Sadly, we are beyond the claim period, but we are close to having major leakage issues on 2 of the 4 units in the home. We’re SO thankful Justin came and found this issue. The next sign of failure would have been leaking through our master bedroom ceiling. We give Legacy AC our highest recommendation!

I first met Dave, the company president 2 years ago and he saved my air conditioning situation for a reasonable fee+parts when FIVE other companies were telling me there was no way to save the AC units. Granted, they are old units, but Legacy helped me out when I really needed it. The other 5 companies just wanted to make a huge sale and didn't care enough to try to help my family through a time financial time.

Bought another house, I decided to hook up a Nest Thermostat, somehow it didn't work, found out it had a thermostat from NV Energy, called them to ask to help me out, NV Energy told me cause I removed the thermostat they couldn't help me. I have a AC guy that i used in the past, but called all day and he didn't answer my 5 phone calls, So I called around to 3 other companies at 430pm and everyone said next day, called Legacy Air and they sent someone out in 15 min. The Technician showed up and I told him the issue, he knew axactly what was wrong, 10 min later it was fixed and working. I asked how much I owed him and he said "Don't worry about it", I was very surprised and decided to tip him $20.00 for the help and he didn't take that either, what GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will use them again if I have any issues and I own my own business too, will refer and tell my clients if they have any issues with their units. Our AC units started blowing hot air out right as an extreme heat warning was sent out. We originally called another company but with their lack of communication and not making the window time frame they gave us didn’t make us happy, so we called Legacy Air. Their customer service was great and she got us in for the same day. Communication via text message was on point, and their service tech, Junior came at 3:15pm (window was 3-6).
Junior was very efficient with time and clearly very knowledgeable of what he was doing. He explained everything to my husband. He got the air working correctly and advised us of what we will need to get fixed when the weather cools down (he was able to replace capacitor of one of our units & fill the coolant in another so that it can make it through the summer, til we can find the leak. Their prices were fair and we are extremely happy!

My unit was making a lot of noise and Legacy came out to check it out. Francisco immediately discovered a fan shroud rivet had loosened and replaced it, but there was still significant noise coming from the compressor. He spoke with his lead and they agreed that the compressor should be replaced and they will be out tomorrow to take care of it. I'm very pleased that Francisco and Legacy recognized this was a warranty issue and immediately went to work to fix the problem as this unit has been noisy since it was installed. I couldn't be happier with Francisco and Legacy with there prompt analysis and repair of my unit.

This was the first time I had a service show up to my house at the time they said they would. I signed up for the yearly maintenance at $15 a month which is a steal because I practically pay that every other month for filters. Dave came out to do an inspection, changed out our filters, and gave us the extra set that comes with the plan. He also told me of a minor issue my unit has, but that its not a pressing issue. Since they didn't seem interested in my business and already showed me horrible customer service I called Legacy Air and spoke with Dave on Tuesday morning. I had a quote by 11a.m., and the technician Junior P. was at my house by 2p.m. Junior had my new heater/ac blower installed and working perfectly by 5p.m. Before he came out he texted us a photo of himself so we knew whom to expect. Upon completion of the job he texted me photos of the work performed. He did a superb job!! I cannot say enough good things about Legacy Air. Their customer service is beyond reproach. They care about your comfort and work with you to get your HVAC system working as quickly as possible. Legacy Air is both responsive and punctual! Their price was also more reasonable than the company that took all day just for a quote. Junior and Dave of Legacy Air thank you so much. You have a new loyal customer! Awesome job!

He was professional, kind and very knowledgeable. We hope to request Abraham for our Fall maintenance check. I signed up for the club membership ($300) w/ air filters for the year, 15% off any repairs and a free Fall maintenance check for heating inspection. We also needed to top off the coolant for $75. Competitively priced...we chose Legacy Air based on a lot of "highly satisfied" service reviews and the Amana systems for the great warranty. We had many technicians at the house over 1.5 days...Dave, Manny, 2 Miguels, Greg...I know I missed someone. All were very professional and they went to great effort to keep our house/yard clean during the entire install...tarps to protect floor, powerwashed oil from sidewalk, vacuumed the carpeting, etc. Overall, our experience with Legacy Air's AC and furnace installation was excellent and we'd definitely recommend them to others.

They were referred to me by my coworker (who has been their customer for 10+ years) when my husband and I were looking for a home to purchase. I hired them to do the HVAC portion of the home inspection and they were incredibly thorough. Once we purchased a home, I have hired them for the maintenance of my 18 year old units and they are helping them stay in great working condition.
I highly recommend the member service program they offer. They get their guys out as soon as they can to fix a problem and the service call fee is so cheap it's almost a joke.
Two nights ago, I finally got cold enough to turn on the heater... The Nest would register it was set to heat but the unit didn't kick on. So yesterday, I tried working with Nest to figure out what the issue was and they were no help. So I called Legacy Air around 2pm yesterday and they said they could come look at the Nest and see if they could figure it out (which I didn't even realize was something they would do, so that was Awesome). They scheduled someone to come out this morning (the following day) between 7a-9a. They were here by 730a and gone by 830a - and my heater is now working perfectly (shout out to Richard who was super cool and friendly)!
I'm telling you guys - after 10 years of working with Contractors - I have never been more impressed with a company than I have been with Legacy Air. Save yourself all the stress and just go with them. It will be the best decision you ever make.

Stacy came out and performed spring check. She used a mask and laid down tarps to protect the carpet as well as booties for her shoes. She seemed extremely thorough and spent a good amount of time checking the A/C. This is an older unit and I’m confident in her knowledge and honesty. I was very impressed with Legacy air. My family moved in to a new house, but my husband had bad allergic reactions to the previous owner's dog hair/dander even after a several hours of move in house cleaning. We asked our realtor friend for help and she referred us to Legacy Air for AC duct cleaning. Fortunately, we were able to make the next day appointment. Manuel was our technician and he did an exceptional job! Even though there were a lot of boxes and other stuff all over the house, he and his partner covered most of the area with plastic sheets and vacuumed everywhere after their job was done. Last night my AC made a big groaning sound and stopped working.
When I left my home today Richard had just a few minutes to assess the problem before I had to leave for work. . He gave me some very reasonable possibilities that my step father had earlier suggested. I was fully prepared to pay to have it fixed and given that resolution I would have also given 5 stars. Richard was early, polite and very respectful.
An hour later I got a text that Richard had left but I had not been given a price. I assumed that my roommate told him we had to discuss a large potential cost. Turns out the cost was zero. The problem was very minor and was fixed in the normal course of the inspection. I did not get a price because I had already paid for the bi annual inspection/maintenance.
Amazing. I have used 3 other AC guys in the past, all of whom worked some sort of angle to up-sell or charge for time especially if they came because of a coupon or some cheap loss leader price.
This is the first time I honestly believe that a company deserves more than 5 stars.

Legacy Air to the rescue! Earlier this year when the summer’s temps were slowly creeping up, our barely 2yr old ‘top of the line’ AC unit stopped pumping out cold air. We immediately tried to figure out the issue on our own, but were also immediately presented with error codes and confusion: whyyyy is this new unit not working?!!! We then contacted the company that installed it and learned how the warranty actually works: 5yrs on parts, but you have to figure out what part it is that failed. We contacted Legacy Air, and they quickly helped find the issue: the unit was leaking refrigerant. Thank you to the tech that helped diagnose AND fix the issue! Also, thank you to Legacy Air’s amazing office staff that helped set the appointments and answer any questions we had. He also performed several other tests on the unit and was able to give me a comprehensive review of the unit which is 16 years old.. I have used Legacy since moving to Las Vegas 2 years ago. They have a great system where they come twice a year, Spring & Fall and do a system check up.They also change out your air filters and leave an extra set.
So far all of the technicians have been excellent! Today, Junior came for my Fall check up. I'm not thrilled to have gas heat, as I have always had electric heat pumps. He put my mind at a little more at ease, telling me how the system works and the safeguards that are in place. The Tech's are what make this company so great.

Called Legacy Air to get an estimate for a small gas line run for a Backup Generator I was going to install. Josh came out and was very knowledgeable on not only the building codes, but also with home back-up generators he had done a few installs in California. I was planning on putting the unit in a tight space ( I know every guys dream right. LOL) and he recommended that he check with the city inspectors on the placement and other factors. He was able to get back with me within the hour and while the city was flexible, but they were not going to sign off on my location I wanted. I am now looking at other locations around the house and if I can come up with something suitable I am definitely having Legacy Air do the gas line run. The other 2 plumbers I had come out didn't even mention the location might not pass the inspection, and I would have just wasted money running a gas line I could never use. They would have their money and be gone anyway. I appreciate the honesty right from the beginning and the fact that Josh went the extra mile all the way around. He was very helpful even knowing with his experience this was a job they may not get, but he still tried and saved me from making a big mistake by pouring a concrete pad, and having electrical done. Glad they came out, and for any HVAC or plumbing I need in the future that I can't handle, they will be my first call.

On November 24th, Hunter and D'low called ahead of time to inform us that they were on the way. The duct cleaning process was explained to us thoroughly. They wore masks and protective shoe coverings. They were professional, personable, and courteous throughout the entire process. They used new plastic tarp to cover certain areas of the home that could be subject to debris falling out of the ducts during the brushing process. They did a great job cleaning up when the cleaning was complete. This would be our first experience having air ducts cleaned, and we think they did an excellent job.

So, while the duct cleaning was taking place Miguel, Javier, and 'the crew' were busy taking out the old system and installing a brand new HVAC system. Everyone wore masks and shoe protection while in the house. We stayed out of the way while they worked. The HVAC installation techs were professional, personable and courteous; working together efficiently. From start to finish the process took a little less than six hours. When they completed the project and cleaned up, it looked just as it did prior to their arrival. One could not tell anyone had even been there. Except, now we have an awesome new HVAC system! We purchased a 'fancy' thermostat which they installed and that took a discount off the bill (since they wouldn't be using their thermostat in the install). About a half an hour later a new tech, 'Abraham' stopped by to inspect the results of the entire install. Throughout the process, techs communicated with us procedures and what to expect within the next week. The next day I received a call scheduling when a person will return for another inspection for city/county permits purposes. Contracts and receipts were sent via email. They were very good about sending such data to me in a timely manner. Overall it was actually an easier process than we had anticipated and that we are grateful. We're very pleased we chose this company for such an important home upgrade

Outdoor AC unit started making a new noise on Saturday, a high pitched hum. Researched AC repair shops on Google and Yelp and found Legacy Air with standout reviews. Called and scheduled an appointment for first thing Monday morning. Greg came out and did a diagnostic, but by that time the noise had stopped (of course). Greg was very forthcoming and brought me up to speed on what the problem could potentially be (likely the fan motor). He stated that if the fan motor did go out, I could easily repair it myself and even gave me the name and number of the local parts warehouse. A few days later, the noise was back and the fan motor died in the night. As Greg suggested, I replaced the fan motor myself and it was a breeze. Easily saved over $250 by doing it myself.
Kudos to Greg and Legacy Air for being so helpful and honest, even to the point of costing themselves business by informing me how to do it myself. I know that if I ever need an AC repair in the future, these guys will be my first call. Five stars.

Then when it turned out he needed a part that had a history of failing and it seemed would not be able to do a permanent fix until Monday he called the supplier and new stock of parts had just arrived ! He left and was back in only 30 minutes and had my heater running in no time ! And the part was covered under warranty! I’m so grateful for the speedy service and customer care from Legacy ! Now we can be warm for the holiday and the rest of the season !! Thanks guys!!

These guys do a great job. I had to call them out last year and Junior was at my house within and hour and had the repairs done within 2 hours. Unfortunately I had to call them out again this year for other issues. Again Dave was at my house within an hour. He was very helpful and didn’t try to push and sales on me at all. He wasn’t able to find anything wrong with unit outside of making a little noise. My unit is 17 years and is probably going to continue to make weird noises. If i ever need any other repairs or have to replace my unit I will be giving these guys a call. I’m sure there are cheaper places out there but I can promise you won’t get better service. I would gladly pay a little more to get the service they offer I won’t even bother calling anyone else.

Problem: the circuit breaker would not click to the ON position
I wasn't sure if I should call electrician or AC. After contacting both types of places, the electricians said always call the AC first and 9 times out of 10, it's the AC. So I looked at reviews and chose to contact Legacy Air (in part because they had a texting feature to their website and I loathe making phone calls, I don't use my phone for that, lol).
They texted back, asked for more info and told me they had availability tomorrow morning.
Junior P showed up on time and was able to show and explain what was wrong. Unfortunately it was the compressor (this made sense as AC was pretty loud for quite a number of years). We were given the choice of compressor replacement for about 1/3 of the cost of a full new system. Given the system was 16 years old, I made the decision to go with the full system even though it was pretty hefty cost. (Why did I chose to buy a home!???) He also informed us that we probably qualified for a class action lawsuit and we were able to get that inspector over to take pictures before the equipment was removed.
Two days later, the installers came. I was not home, but was told that went relatively smoothly. They take lots of pictures to go in your file and then email all this to you. I'm pretty nerdy so I like this. Gives a baseline of what the new install looked like/numbers it was giving.
I had a little panic attack when I got home and I saw the outside unit had 14SEER when we were supposed to get 16SEER. Turns out paired with the inside coil is what makes it 16SEER.
A week later, Nick came by on time for the quality assurance check. In the meantime, I had gathered up questions, probably more so since I was not home at the time of install and he patiently answered all my questions. Then checked the inside and outside work. I appreciate the QA check as I do the same thing for software.
The warranty/registration stuff is done by the office and is emailed over.
You get text and emails alerts about when your appts are scheduled and when the guys are on the way to your house. All workers were professional and seemed to be competent and knowledgeable. So far so good with the unit. Summer is just starting...

190926: We just had the tune-up included in our install. The technician informed us that we had a choice of getting an AC check or heater check.
I thought somewhere they included 2 tune-ups, but it seems like they count the install work as one of the tune-ups.
We were scheduled with another technician. The tracking system went down. Then we got another text informing of the technician change (maybe the guy was not going to make it and it breaks the tracking system).
Colby did the tune-up and notice the flame wasn't the color he liked. So instead of letting us, you know, maybe die in our sleep, he went the extra steps to get some assistance to verify things. We appreciate the quality, not rushed, service.

I called Legacy air they didn't have anyone available right away. I called The Cooling company the guy quoted me $2700 for the freon and $7619 for new unit. So here is my short story of this company. The wife and I decided it was time for new a/c and furnace, we decided we would get 5 quotes, well after 5 quotes and talking with 5 different companies we were still not 100% convinced on 1. Then I came across Legacy's website and thought what would 1 more quote hurt. Best thing I did! Within just a few minutes of meeting and talking with Justin I knew and felt he had my best interest at heart, our search was over! Now to the crew, because honestly, as nice as Justin is, he's not installing your new a/c and furnace and honestly that's the most important thing the instal. I'm retired military, and in the military the best you can hope for is to have a great team to work with and go to battle with. Well the crew leader ABE, (and you would be lucky to have him) has a fantastic crew, he was able to adapt to some of the initial details of the job and found a better and more efficient way of getting the job done which only benifited us. I called their services this morning and spoke to Dave, asking if they would check my air conditioning system due to ice build up on the coil. I had informed him that there had been two previous companies that checked the unit yesterday and before making a big decision i wanted to give this company a try because they had good reviews online. Dave told me he would arrive in 45 minutes and he checked my unit and I went over recommendations from the other technicians. He told me I didn't need a new ac unit. We changed the filter yesterday and today the ice was gone when he check. He instructed me to buy a thermometer and showed me how to read it correctly. Everyone's heard it happen to someone, you turn the AC on for the first time and it doesn't work. Thankfully Legacy was able to make it out quickly. They diagnosed the problem and repaired it the same day. They even have an annual membership that includes summer and winter tune ups plus filters, and it gets you a discount on any service calls.

We called Legacy Air as a second opinion. Previous company told us we needed parts that would cost $5,500 but we might as well install a new unit for $9,200 - it would be better for us in the long run. He also told me C02 was leaking in my house- which scared me - of course.

We called the #1 plumbing, heating and air conditioning company. They came out 7/30/15 and charged $285 for a combined service call and AC function check. The estimate for a repair of the AC unit was $2,700-$3,300. They stated they would have to order the parts to fix the unit… then they called us back, and stated that parts were not available because the unit was a discontinued model, therefore the entire unit would need to be replaced. The house was built in 2007!!-a unit less than 10 years old was not serviceable?? We found that hard to believe.
We wanted a second opinion and so we called LEGACY AIR. The service call was $59 . The technician found a leak. He repaired the AC unit for $725 total. The technician-Dean- was courteous and very professional. The office staff was prompt and courteous. LEGACY AIR worked us in to a busy schedule. They came out to the service call on the same day we called. The repair was done the next day. Dean worked until 7PM to finish the repair and did not charge us extra. LEGACY AIR is an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable company and is the real “#1” AC repair company in Las Vegas!!!

I hired Legacy to install a split unit within a server room we have at Nellis AFB about a year ago. Great professional install by Abe Duran. System has been running smooth. Dave, from Legacy Air just finished the repair and left. This was one incredible experience.
In 5 minutes Dave had diagnosed the problem as a bad capacitor (called condensers by some). Quoted me a price in the $200 range (a little more than usual because he had to come out on Memorial Day). I agreed to the price, Dave did the work, got the unit going again, then asked me about my military service.
When I told him I was ex-army from umteen years ago, he said they do not charge veterans on Memorial Day. I was absolutely stunned. to top it off, he would not even accept a tip from me. What I will do is contribute the money to charity, perhaps the USO.
So I can't say enough good things about Legacy. If you need an expert job done well, call Legacy!
You can be sure that when I need to replace my 19 year old units, I'll be calling them again.
