I had one of my AC units go out at 9:00 pm one evening and had a recommendation to give Cal Air a call. To my surprise, being that it was late in the evening, I was able to book an appointment for the next day. The technician showed up at the scheduled time and was able to diagnose, then repair the unit quickly. Great customer service and professionalism from everyone I interacted with at Cal Air. I will definitely be using them again in the future for all AC/Heating needs.

My upstairs unit decided to die on us. I had another company come out to look at it and they informed me that we needed a new unit and furnace coil. After seeing that companies finance options and crazy interest rates, I decided to call CalAir as I know one of the technicians. Vincent came out and was on time and very informative about what was needed. He was also honest about the possible lead time as they were having supply chain issues, however we were able to get our unit within the week. Their financing options are great and I was able to get a better unit with the same warranty for less than I would have paid with the original company I called out.

My downstairs AC stopped working and I have a 8 month old in the house and needed quick repair. Cal air responded within 20 minutes and have a technician out within the same day. He checked all wires and attic turns out we accidentally switched the power to unit off. Instead of over charging they only charged the service fee of 49.00. Definitely recommend and won’t rip you off on prices!

Alberto was absolutely fantastic! I contacted him after another company was already at my house and tried billing me over $1300. It turns out the other company mis-diagnosed the problem and Alberto was able to correct the problem for less than $150. Had 30 yr old AC break down in 112⁰ summer heat. Called 4 companies to quote prices. Cal was there the same day. 2 companies showed up next day, Rebel air said 2 days and never showed up at all. Cal provided the best cost (but all 3 were close enough in price), the most concerned for our situation, and the most professional (one company pulled up, quoted price from truck and drove off). Even though they had to be busy (in the middle of summer), they had the staff and stock on hand, to have a new unit installed in 3 days (1 company said 5-7 days, other said 2 weeks). Those are the reasons that I chose Cal Air. But was happy with service afterwards also. I chose to use them for maintenance too. A single payment gets two maintenance trips a year (about $80 a visit, well within cost of others). And every visit, the tech has been clean, polite, and professional. They arrive in a two hour window (not "between 8am and 6pm on Tuesday"), and SO far have never been late (4 years now). I've had service before, where the tech looked like a homeless garage mechanic (I do understand that it is a hot, dirty job. But you are representing your company when you walk into the NEXT customers clean house. Show some respect.). In 30 years I have only had 1 AC unit changed, but I am extremely satisfied by my choice in Cal Air, and happily recommend them to anyone.

They set the appointment date, texted me in a timely manner. They arrived professionally ready to work, masked up. Alonso and his assistants were courteous and professional. They had a big job of removing the old air conditioning unit and installing the new one. It took most of the day. I should have made them snacks. I've have done regular maintenance on my A/C and Heating Units through Cal Air at multiple homes. They are always professional, straight forward, and fast. For the first time my A/C started to give out, Cal Air assessed the situation and today they replaced the Ducts in the system to be larger so that the system has an easier time heating and cooling the house, taking the stress off of our unit. They showed up on time (as always), were quick with the work, and professional in explaining next steps and if we needed anything else. Wonderful, wonderful, warm, friendly and caring as to what the symptoms were to repair. She was able to have service the same morning between 11:00am and 1PM. Called Orlando on Sunday night for AC issue. He responded back quickly and walked me through steps to take to see if we could get AC to come back on. Test didn't prevail, made appointment for Monday between 4-6pm, but CalAir had a opening earlier which was appreciated. Orlando came out and had unit back-up and running in an half-hour. Will continue to use CalAir because of the service and professionalism they gave.

I had been using another company here in Las Vegas for the past 8yrs. to change my AC filter and to run my yearly maintenance and any repairs. Las week I gave them a call it was time to change the AC filter again. This company has been charging me $25.00 for 8yrs. I call them this time and they tell me $89.00! I told them to look up my record as I have been a solid customer for 8yrs and you are going to jump the price like that on me? The only answer I got was "dispatch says $89.00" I told this company to go "F" off and that they just lost a customer. That company was One Hour Heating And Air! I will NEVER use them again or refer them EVER! Now on the other hand I started doing some searching and found Cal Air and I called them and they were super friendly and the price was great! They sent out Alberto and he was friendly, courteous and did the job right. I WILL be using Cal Air from now on for all my AC needs! Good Bye One Hour Heating And Air!

I called Cal Air on Monday morning, they came out the same day to check my AC unit. Unfortunately, for me I had to replace my unit do to the new regulations. Cal Air provided me with pricing on the spot and i was able to setup installation of our new unit for the following day in the morning. I called Cal Air because we have an account with them for maintenance. When my mother's heat stopped working I called them. Cal Air had someone out within four hours from when I called. They sent Richard, it was the first time we have met him. What a wonderful nice man he is!! He was very professional and kind. He found the problem in minutes and also explained how the part works and what went wrong with it. Richard got the part we needed and fixed it. He didn't leave until he was sure that everything worked and my mother was fine. I'm glad I found this company, I have been lucky with them.

Alonso arrived on time to diagnose the problem with our heating system. He was professional & very careful when he came inside the house. The 1st visit, the problem was not easily diagnosed because I had turned the unit off/on multiple times & interfered with diagnostic codes. When the failure occurred again later the same day, Cal-Air scheduled Alonso to come out 1st thing the next morning & at that time, he was able to accurately diagnose the failure. He ordered the parts from their warehouse & came back the next day to install the new parts. Because we were so confident in his work, we requested that he order the same replacement parts for our 2nd heating unit & he is scheduled to install those tomorrow.

I had an issue with my Infinity heater. Since Cal Air had services my units before, I decided to give them a call. When Alberto arrived he listened to the issue we were running into and was able to determine what the cause was. It was a bad board on the unit itself. Because it was the busy season, he came back 2 days later ready to work. He brought Marcos with him. They did some more troubleshooting and decided to change out the control unit inside the house as well. Marcos was inside the house and was great. While working on the unit he was also able to talk to us about the reasoning behind the change of the control unit. Both techs were extremely friendly and had a great attitude about them. They were also able to explain to us about the maintenance plans they have. I will definitely call Cal Air for any of my A/C or Heating issues and so should you.

I had my AC unit replaced and I am extremely satisfied with the process. Both Ralph and Victor were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I am super pleased with the work that Cal Air has done. They have replaced my ductwork and AC/Heating unit I went through financing and was pleased with the 0% interest for 5 years (60 months). After doing my due diligence for 1 month, I got quotes from 4 different companies and I must say that the caliber, quality and no pressure of Cal Air convinced me. They weren't the cheapest but I was also looking for a good quality unit for my home and that would be the Carrier units that they are experts in. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking for honest, quality work.

Extremely quick, highly professional, absolutely kind, respectful and personable. We called in the morning for a minor leak and they were able to come out that same afternoon. Our issue appeared to be from a cracked, clogged pipe. Fernando and Alex had us up and running in short order, explaining and showing us where the problem was. We were VERY comfortable with them being in our home and we really appreciated the text before our appointment with the photo and name of technician as well as them wearing protective booties before entering our home. The cost was MORE than fair and surprisingly lower than expected.

We needed a motor for the fan in the attic and we had someone come and were told they didn't have the motor and there wasn't any motors to be found in the city and it would be about 4 days before they could come back, in the meantime the temp was in the 110-114 degree area. We called two other companies and we're told they would come but wouldn't guarantee they had the part and wouldn't give an approximate cost. Cal Air guaranteed the part, gave use the actual cost to do the job and came 30 minutes earlier than the window they said for arrival. The technician was very pleasant and professional. If i need air conditioning work in the future Cal Air is the only company I'll call.

We were referred by our neighbors. Alberto came on time and explained or options and answered all the questions we had. Later in the evening he sent us an official proposal which we accepted. They came the next day and installed. During installation they cause a minor damage to the ceiling and Alberto reported it to their office promptly. They sent a drywall contractor the next day and fixed the damage so nicely. I would say Alberto did a great job.

Alberto Meza was extremely professional and prompt. My husband and I were impressed with his knowledge of service repair and installation of his company products. My husband was in the hydraulic service industry for 40 years and he wanted to "test" Alberto by not saying a word. Alberto thoroughly explained what was needed and the reasons for it. He also explained other options that are available so we can choose the best product for our needs. What company is on time, inspects the problem site carefully and explains options available for our needs? Hardly any. We were extremely impressed. The cost is reasonable. He also mentioned he is attending school at night. That told us he still wants to improve. That sold us. Conscious, prompt, knowledgeable of his company's business. I like that. That's old school.

Alanso from Cal Air did our spring air conditioner check this morning. He was very thorough and did an excellent job. His electrical check showed that the start capacitor on one of the units was weak so I asked him to replace it. Replacing that component can actually save a compressor. I genuinely appreciate his professionalism. Cal Air is an impressive company because of the high caliber of its personnel. I highly recommend them for your air conditioning needs.

So Far, So good. Day 1 Complete and everything works as advertised. The process isn't complete yet but mechanically the heater is working great. the Air Conditioner wont be used until May so it's hard to rate when you have no usage on a major component X2 as we replaced 2 HVAC units. the team was nice, respectful and answered all our questions. They had their hands full in our attic with 2 units. Because the units were so large, the attic access wood trim was removed and destroyed in order to get old out, and new in. We are awaiting the construction company that Cal Air uses to set up an appt to replace the broken trim. Once that is complete we await summer. I am confidant our Air Conditioning worries will be over. Cal Air had great ratings for service and their price was ballpark so that is why we chose them. I'd give 5 stars if it were summer and we could verify the cooling, but we can't. Cheers Update- After 2 summer cycles and a few service calls I am updating to let readers know we are thrilled with the air HVAC systems. Both are performing flawlessly. My only complaint would be the new thermostats that carrier provides have a horrible app for mobile control. I will replace both with ecobee or nest soon. Not a Cal-Air issue.

Cal Air installed a heat pump, furnace, humidifier and UV air cleaner in our home. During my 40 years as a building contractor, I have certainly worked with many HVAC subcontractors, but none like Cal Air. The guys who worked on our system were very professional, knowledgeable and always a pleasure to work with. Most importantly, they responded to any problems quickly and corrected them completely. Over the past year, I have had the pleasure of working with Peter, Orlando, Marcos, Richard and Alberto. I wish they had worked for me in the past. Gary is a personable, knowledgeable and friendly technician. He got waylaid by a "friendly neighbor" before he could enter my home but was patient and even offered to give him an estimate once he finished my service. He kept me updated on what he was checking and how the unit was doing. He told me the size of my filters so if I wanted to change to a different kind my shopping would be easier. :) When my coolant levels were found to be low he offered to add some but wasn't pushy which I appreciated. I decided to go ahead with the coolant since summer is fast approaching. Gary also offered me a free estimate on a new unit (since mine is the original from 2001). But once again...not pushy..,. just offering information for a future date. When my unit decides to go to "AC Heaven" I will be calling Cal Air!!! :)

Richard is the service tech who took the call, he's polite and very professional. Richard came for a diagnostic appointment to see why our air conditioner was blowing hot air. He came down after about 15 min and said that he changed out the part. He never asked if I wanted to go ahead and fix it. I probably would have had him change it anyway but I do not appreciate him doing so without asking first. I think that was unprofessional. Then he didn't even tell me any other diagnostic information. I had to ask him to go back on the roof to see what the situation was on the filters and the rest of the system. Not sure if I will call Cal Air again.

Only company that would come out that day. Our a/c went out around 5 p.m. they came out around 7. All the others I called said 8 or latter the next day. Alberto came out got our 12 year old unit working but it was time for a new one. Victor and Fernando installed a new heat pump/ac unit after Alberto diagnosed a faulty compressor. The better solution was installing a new unit. In addition, Alberto discovered that there was a problem with the breaker in the main panel. I had an electrician install a new breaker and Alberto realized the new breaker was defective.
