Black Mountain was recommended to me by my mother and a friend who had already had them come out to their houses. I was able to set up an appointment very easily online with a window frame of two hours. They were here at the beginning of the time frame and sent a text message to let me know they were on their way. Our technician, Andrew, was extremely helpful and courteous. He was able to pinpoint the problem and begin the repairs immediately. I would highly recommend the company.

I was pressed for time on this job and Michael apparently made a schedule adjustment in order to accommodate me. Michael actually arrived early. Michael was very knowledgeable, efficient, and was extremely nice. I called to make my appointment on short notice as our heating system upstairs had failed the previous evening. They were really great at getting me scheduled and I have to say that their pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Andrew was amazing! Super knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly. He showed me the issues so I knew he wasn't making anything up. He trimmed my grass away from the condensing unit since it was suffocating the condenser. He spent the time and explained the changes coming to the industry in NV with the new laws so I could make an educated decision on a new unit. Super impressed. Others I know have used Black Mountain Air and all have had the same experience. Money well spent.

We had been without AC in our house for 10 days while waiting for our home warranty company to help us get another business out to repair it. The home warranty company was of no help and said it would like another 10-12 business days for us to receive parts for the repair. I called Black Mountain Air for a second opinion and they found more issues with our old system that were beyond repair, so we had to replace the system entirely. They came out and did it the very next day and my house is back at a cool 74 when I'm at home. I cannot thank them enough for being super responsive and helping my fiancee and I get back into our house!

Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, and unlike other companies I won't mention he didn't immediately start trying to sell me a whole new system. It was quite refreshing to be told my a/c system still had life in it, and even if certain parts died they could be replaced without having to spend thousands on a whole new unit. Nothing but good things to say about our experience with Black Mountain Air. We have been in our home for 7 years now and recently have been experiencing issues with only the downstairs zone not getting cool. We scheduled a maintenance call for a technician to take a look and give an assessment. The whole process went well, from scheduling with the front office to the home visit. Our technician (Robert--great name BTW) showed up on time and prepared. We had a quick discussion about what intermittent issues we had been having and he made his way up to the attic--not the most pleasant place to be in the middle of July in Las Vegas. Turns out we have a failing damper motor. Now in the process of getting that scheduled for replacement. I was impressed with his professionalism and greatly appreciate his expertise.

Intial inspection and installation process was great. Currently going on 4 months and the install still has problems. They couldn't get the specific air handler for my condo for some weeks, so they got another unit that I was told would work well. It hasn't.. It's already had one part replaced because of a humming noise, waiting now a couple months because of it randomly wants to run the heat pump and makes a noise after that runs. They did make sure to get the financing fixed after the first issue with the original financing company. Hard to contact after being paid. Wrote an email a week ago and still waiting for a reply.

The Black Mountain team was great to work with. Starting with a friendly, competent HUMAN answering the phone to speak with me. The first appointment was booked for less than two hours after I called - and the technician arrived on time. After several attempts at repair, it was determiend that we needed a replacement A/C unit. It was 107 degrees with more heat coming so we needed to act quickly. We were provied with 3 quotes. The installation appointment was the next morning. The team arrived on time, and were courteous and respectful of our home (and our dog). They placed drop sheets throughout the house to trap any dirt from the removal of the old equipment.They worked throughtout the day (and the heat) to remove and replace the equipment. The heat in the attic was oppresive. The team took one short lunch break (informing me of their planned return time) and by late afternnoon, we had A/C running. I highly recommend Black Mountain.

He was right on time and very professional. He was actually my installer in December so he got to take a look at his work! The unit is quiet and it keeps the house cool. I was apprehensive as so many people are taking about how A/C companies are taking advantage of them due to the heat. I absolutely do not feel that was the case here. Unit went out late last night. Was able to go on-line and book a service for today between 2pm-5pm and was informed it would be $60 for the diagnosis. Received a text from the tech and an email letting me know he was on his way about 1:30pm. He showed up right on time. Very professional and courteous. Had the parts in the truck to do the repair. Showed me the quote on the phone in an app that had each service already priced out. System back-up an running in about an hour at what I feel is a very reasonable price. Would totally use Black Mountain again and request Robert. Sincerely appreciated.

July in Vegas must be a nightmare for AC repair companies. I called 4 places and was put on emergency lists. Same with Black Mountain Air and they managed to squeeze us in on the same day while others were 3-4 days off. Yannick showed up with a smile and was quick to diagnose the problem. Within 20 minutes our unit was up and running again, blowing cold air. I paid using GPay and there was an option to tip the service tech which I did. I hope these guys out on the front line doing the hard work actually get that tip money and that it doesn't just go to the company bottom line. Otherwise I would have given him a cash tip. I would highly recommend Black Mountain Air.

I have some knowledge of the AC industry and they answered plainly and honestly. the install was great. The team was on time. All were in clean Uniform shirts and well spoken. From phone call and scheduling to completion of our issue Black Mountain Air was five stars. They were recommended to me by a friend and I will definitely recommend them to all my other friends. Yannick ( technician) was prompt, polite, and worked with an urgency rarely seen. He started diagnostics with what could have been the smallest issue ( wether this was intended to keep our cost down I don’t know, but it had that effect) continuing until he found the problem. He was straightforward when he did. This is the part that no longer works and this is how much it costs to replace. When his repairs ended the bill was exactly the amount he had stated. You can definitely trust Black Mountain Air to do a great job for a fair and reasonable price!

I am Leary about AC businesses because of prior experience with other AC companies. It’s a gamble on wether or not you’re going to get the service you would expect without the fear of being ripped off. So I took a gamble with Black Mountain Air due in part of the positive reviews on Next Door app and it was decision I didn’t regret. Our heat went out on New Year's Eve, and Black Mountain Air was the only company that communicated with me on New Year's Day. We were able to schedule for Monday morning. I have used Black Mountain for A/C service and repair for years, from late night repairs to now a total AC replacement, Black Mountain Air gets it done. my compressor failed, and they communicated the issue perfectly, the best long term solution was a new unit from the time of my decision to replace my unit to install was less than a day. there is no good time for your AC to go out, there is a worse time though, and thats the amount of time your going to be without AC awaiting a repair. that turnaround took so much stress off my plate. and I also knew it was going to be done right, by a company that has earned my trust I am always impressed by their responsiveness, professionalism, and enthusiasm for what they do Black Mountain Air has been (for over a decade) and will continue to be the ONLY number I have had to call for AC issues.

This place fixed my air conditioner about five maybe six years ago and did a great job. my air conditioner was acting up again so I called them again. They could get us in the next day. This was our second time using Black Mountain Air, but it had been many years between visits. Their customer service is outstanding. We noticed an issue with our AC on Easter Sunday. I logged into their website to see what time they opened so I could call first thing. I was surprised and pleased to find that they offer online scheduling. This is so convenient. I chose the time slot I wanted for the next day, and left a description of what services I needed. They called the next morning to give me a more specific time within the time window I had picked. I appreciated that because then we weren't sitting around just waiting. They let us know when they were on the way. Michael was our technician. He was extremely friendly, explained everything, and gave us options. The motor in one of our units was going bad, but he explained it could probably last the season if we wanted it to. We decided to go ahead and have it replaced now. The cost for the consult, and the repair were both extremely reasonable. UPDATE 6/22/22: We used Black Mountain Air again. We had them come out just to look over the system because we'd had a weird situation that resolved itself, but wanted to make sure everything was ok. As always, the scheduling, and customer service was outstanding. Within a short time of me reaching out we had a time slot for the next morning. Robert came out. He was great. He looked over everything. He found no issues, but took the time to explain what could have happened, and to let us know what to observe if it happens again, so that they'd have an idea of what part was malfunctioning. We paid the reasonable diagnostics fee and now have peace of mind. I cannot recommend these guys enough.

This is the second time I have used Black Mountain Air. Both times I have been very impressed with this company. The service technician (Michael) came out to take a look at my HVAC unit because it has been struggling to keep cooling during the past few very hot days. He checked it out thoroughly and as everything was working properly during his visit, he could not offer a service. He waived the service fee since he didn't "do" anything (his words - I'd say he DID do something - he climbed on top of my two story roof, removed the bird netting, investigated my unit, and then replaced my bird netting before coming down again - he was here about half an hour). He talked to me for a few minutes afterwards, and recommended I call them again if the issue arises so they can send a tech over to inspect the unit while it's failing so they will have a better idea what the issue is. Though I could wish that there was a clear issue of some failing part that could easily be replaced, I really appreciated that Micheal was upfront with me about my issue and didn't just try to do something (anything) in order to complete a service. This experience is consistent with the experience I had last year when the same technician came out to service my other HVAC unit (he replaced the fan motor on that unit). In my dealings with Michael as well as with Todd, the owner, via text, the impression I get is that this company is both honest and professional. If I have any further HVAC needs (and I am sure to within the next couple of years), Black Mountain Air has my business.

Wonderful!!!! Ok, the two technicians from Black Mountain Air were amazing! I called for a second opinion from an estimate I had received from another, less trustworthy company. Michael (and I think Robert) arrived on time, and texted prior to arrival. They were extremely honest! I do have some things that could have been done, but were not immediately necessary, based on the age of my unit. They were not in a rush to push the repairs, that were ok to wait, and may or may not need to be done, prior to eventually getting a new unit. They took their time to explain everything to me. Our A/C conked out just a few days before the July 4 holiday--bad timing amidst the heat wave and holiday. We called three contractors for bids: one was astronomical, the second company came out but never gave us a bid, and the third company was Black Mountain. Impressed with their reviews, I called and spoke to Shannon. She is extremely knowledgeable and provided an accurate ballpark bid over the phone. The other company's reps would not do that, and Black Mountain's bid was considerably lower than the first contractor, for the same unit. Because Black Mountain was so slammed, I decided that honest work was worth waiting for. I was right. Todd was able to repair our unit temporarily to get us through the next few days until they could replace the unit. I was grateful since I had reservations at a local motel that I was able to cancel. The split A/C-furnace units were installed on July 3. Installers Michael and Will were friendly, professional, and did a beautiful job. As the weekend was supposed to be over 100°, I was very worried I would not have any air conditioning. I emailed the company at around 7:30pm and got a quick response from Todd. That time, it took a total of three technicians to come out all different times to figure out the issue but it was finally resolved by fixing the relax. Although it took longer and more visits than anticipated to figure it out, overall we had a good experience that made us want to use them again for further reference. Yesterday our AC stopped blowing cold air so made an appointment last night and Yannick came out this morning. He changed out our capacitor and now we are blessed with comfort in our home again. Thank you! Unfortunately I can’t recall the names of the previous 3 technicians that came to help to thank them as well in addition to Yannick. The overall customer service is great and any requests can be made, in our situation it was always for booties to be worn inside the home. Please utilize this company for your needs, you will not be disappointed.

Had another company look at it, they said the compressor needed to be replaced: $2.700, they suggested it would even be better to replace the whole unit: $4.522. As the unit is only 6 years old and I heard some weird stories about amps and gas, I decided to get a second opinion from Black Mountain Air. Their technician was very professional and honest. The compressor was just fine, there was no need to replace it at all. The only thing that had to be replaced was the capacitor: $229 for parts and labour. Two technicians took half-an-hour to change out the furnace filter frame. They arrived on time and were fast, efficient, and professional. Since we moved into our house last year, the furnace filters jumped around in the original frame, slamming loudly to the top of the frame, then dropping down noisily whenever the furnace fan turned on and off. Wow... I can't even put in to words the level of customer service and integrity! I have 2 air units and my downstairs was out.
