We had Alaskan replace our old AC and heater units. We shopped around and they were the only ones who took into account our specific house, rather than just giving us the standard option. They added a return and relocated the outdoor unit, to give us our patio back. The additional charges for those issues were reasonable. There was a problem the first day that knocked out our cooling, but they came back out right away and got it running right. We just had our first maintenance check 8 or so months later with a professional service tech. We have had no problems with our nice new unit or the included thermostat since it was up and running correctly. We are very glad we chose Alaskan.

Upstairs A/C quite working late Saturday evening. Called Alaskan at 7am Sunday morning. Left my information with their answering service. Technician (Marcel) called me back quickly. He was able to get to my place a lot quicker than I was expecting being it was the hottest weekend of the year. Marcel was very friendly and professional. He had my Unit running by 10am. I have used Alaskan Heating & Air through 2 AC units...a long time now. Today my repair service was completed bt Steve, who I have had for my maintenance checks recently. Steve is so good at his job and took care of me like family. My compressor was toast and it was replaced ASAP with no fuss, no bother and a more than fair price. Ibhave the service program so my savings more than compensated for its cost. Steve is a prince among men. He is courteous, patient and kind. A rare find these days. Thank you Alaskan!!

Had my yearly maintenance service done on my AC. It's had to find companies these days that don't have an agenda but I have to give a huge shout out to Marsel at Alaskan. Professional by all means but also personable, transparent and honest about what I needed to have done, which he took care of right away at an affordable price. Alaskan installed 2 new HVAC units in 2021. Highly recommend them to everyone. Competitive , top quality work, no games, no sales pressure—they do what they say and are highly reliable, something rare in todays time. Customer service/scheduling person is great when you call. Easy access to their accounting dept. We bought the maintenance contract for 10 years. Techs are well trained and could answer all of my technical questions. Tim and Matt came out to service my hot water heater and inspect my water lines and went above and beyond in their service. Then today I called and spoke with Andrea (very friendly and helpful) about a pilot light issue and she got me on the books asap. We managed to fix the issue ourselves, so I called back and spoke with Kayla (also very friendly and helpful) to cancel. She canceled it immediately (no kind of charge) and offered to refund my payment immediately. Overall I have been extremely happy with Alaskan Plumbing for several years now. I highly recommend them!

Alaskan put in my HVAC system some years ago. I also have a service contract with them that has them come out every 6 months. On my last service visit they missed something and I informed them accordingly. The next day I got a call from one of the owners. That call lasted for 35 minutes. At the end of the call, he asked me to see if they could turn the relationship around. As a result, I contracted with them to redo my AC/heat venting in the attic as I have a 35 year old house and it was the old decaying R4 insulation. At the same time, I asked them to redo my plumbing: shutoffs for all of the bathrooms (there are 4 bathrooms) utility sinks, new outdoor faucets, replace the anode on the hot water heater and put in some ‘T’s’ for hot water circulation(there are 4 bathrooms). Their organizational skills, processing, professionalism and throughput was incredible to watch. There were 6 guys on the HVAC crew and they worked from 9 AM to 9 PM to get that job done. The plumber then came in and worked for two solid days to get all of the plumbing activities done. I have to admit I threw them some curves as I kept throwing more and more plumbing tasks while he was here. Conclusion: I have worked in Quality Assurance for 40+ years. We have a saying: “The next best thing to getting it right is making it right.” Use Alaskan. They provide a solid, dependable, efficient service with strong expertise, professionalism and good pricing. They will walk the talk. If you have an older house, like I do, consider a ‘makeover’ by updating your HVAC and plumbing with them.

I was very impressed with the technicians at Alaskan! Tim did the maintenance flush and check on our water heater. He showed me the sediments in the drained water and thoroughly explained everything to me. He was very professional and polite! Our drain in the shower was clogged and he took out all the crud he could reach. It worked and there was no charge for that because he didn't have to use the auger. It was so nice he offered to do that! He did an excellent job! Chris was out to do our AC Maintenance. I liked how he cleaned the small electrical box and checked all the wires. He sprayed some special cleaning solution on the AC before hosing it down. He was very professional! Very thorough inspection I liked how everything was explained to me. I will definitely use Alaskan Air again and ask for the technicians that just did our services!

The first contact with Alaskan happened after my garage flooded from a water heater tank that failed. As I searched for a plumbing company I remembered their bill board so I gave them a call. They were very fast in the response and within 24 hours of first contact I had a brand new tankless water heater installed. I was shocked when they arrived when they said. In discussions with the Service personnel I discovered that they had a service plan I could purchase to have my a/c and heat checked every spring and fall I liked it was a good deal and what I really wanted. We wound up purchasing two new HVAC systems from them. Once again they arrived when they said and made sure I understood how everything worked before they left. Alaskan is the best contractor I have ever interacted with. We have two other a/c units that will need to be replaced and with out hesitation I will use Alaskan again. I felt my needs and satisfaction were important to Alaskan.

My air conditioner stopped working and I called around to see if I could get someone to come look at it. Alaskan had someone available same day. The tech arrived clean and well dressed. After going through it I was worried he would try to sell me on a new hvac system since mine is older. He said the motor was out and that we could just replace the motor since the rest of the unit was in good working condition. He ordered the part and next day came and installed the new motor. I had cool air blowing in no time. I would definitely recommend Alaskan air and give Robert, my service technician 5 stars.

In 2016, I signed a contract with Robert to replace my HVAC system. Since then I have a maintenance contract with them. They come in the winter to inspect, clean, and check for any problems with the heating system. They come in the summer to check out the AC unit. The dust here is horrible, so they clean out the dust in both units. They also come once a year to do a plumbing inspection, which includes checking water heater, drain, and inspect for any problems. With the hard water, corrosion is a problem and last year they replaced a corroded part. The techs are always very professional, knowledgeable, and will answer any questions you may have. They all appear to enjoy working for Alaskan, which to me means the company cares for their employees. In turn, they are conscientious and work with intergrity. The last service tech, Luis, was here to inspect the plumbing. He checked the pipes in the bathroom sinks, toilets, and kitchen sink. He did a very thorough inspection. All okay! He booted his feet when he came in the house. I also appreciate that they call to schedule an appointment, and call prior to arriving. They also call afterwards to make sure everything is okay, and the tech cleaned up, which they always do. Alaskan is my plumber, and I highly recommend them.

The technician, Matt R., arrived on time and politely introduced himself and asked what my concerns were and how long I expected to be in the home. He then looked at the thermostats and set them back to go on and run so he could test output (cooling issue front unit) and how cold air at the register and return were. Next he said he had to go up on the roof and do an inspection and would report to me what he found out. Front unit had to have a little Freon but the back or rear unit was fine. He then performed what he called an annual A/C cooling maintenance inspection that included washing out the coils on each unit and checking all critical functions and parts. Then he topped off the front unit with Freon and completed his work and visited with me again about what he did and some “what to be aware of issues”. Further, he recommended that I buy their annual inspection service and explained what was covered in detail and that I would save 20% on parts and up to 1lb. of free Freon. The bill came to less than I was expecting! Matt did an outstanding job and represented the company in an excellent fashion!! Would not hesitate to recommend him and Alaskan Air to anyone. I have been in Las Vegas 40 year’s best A/C service I have ever received! Utilize their service with confidence!! Thanks Matt and Alaskan Heating and Air Conditioning👍

Starting with Monica, this was one of my best service experiences EVER. They responded quickly, communicated clearly and efficiently, set an appointment sooner than later and showed up when they promised. Tim Vergari, the technician was extremely personable and outstandingly knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge. There was no push to upsell. We had a question about something the day after he was there and Monica sent Tim back out immediately at no charge to see what was going on. From start to finish, a total 10! My heater went out the day after Christmas in 2019. Since buying my house in 2011 I have had nothing but problems with my AC/Heater unit. I have called and worked with so many different companies in town and after going through calling someone out to look at my unit approximately 2 times a year for 8 years I came to expect a level of service that caused me headache and stress. Until I called Alaskan, their service was undeniably the absolute best service I have ever encountered. They were responsive, on time, made me feel important and they have a level of professionalism that should be the standard. We had to get a new unit and all new duct work installed (which we knew we needed but never trusted any of the companies we had out enough to trust them with such a big job). Their pricing was right, the process was smooth and the new unit works flawlessly. I have always felt that AC companies were just salesmen trying to earn their commission and not really caring about my situation. Alaskan changed my view on all of that and constantly checked on me and informed me of how the process would work. After being burned by so many other companies I waited almost 4 months to write this review just to be absolutely SURE that everything was in working order, the whole it’s almost too good to be true thing so I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well, it didn’t. It’s still hasn’t and at this point I am confident it never will. Alaskan is rare find in this city. I HIGHLY recommend that you call them for ALL of your needs. Like I said, I have worked with NUMEROUS companies around town and Alaskan is without a doubt 5 stars and the best company I have ever dealt with. Save yourself the headache of calling around and let Alaskan be you first and only call.

Tim Vergari did our warranty inspection today for our plumbing and hot water tank and he is very knowledgeable and professional about everything. They are the best! Alaskan started the job at the beginning of October 2020. The sales guy, Marcell, and installation technicians were great. They were prompt and on-time, did a great job and left me with a much better AC. As advertised they had to remove some drywall and insulation during the install. No surprises. With all that said, Alaskan ensured me that they were going to clean up their mess and repair the opening to my attic. The repair to my attic opening took a bit longer than anticipated. The repair is now scheduled for this weekend (2/26). The sub contractor claimed they had trouble getting a hold of me. I checked my records and couldn't find any evidence of their calls. We were able to cool down and Chad from Alaskan and I talked, I told him what I found, and he was apologetic. I very much appreciated this. I also apologized for my short tempter and we had a good talk about the path forward. Bottom line, some things were dropped by their subcontractor. Chad (and Alaskan) were willing to talk through it and still ensure the job was done. They even offered financial compensation if I had to pay anything out of pocket, but that wasn't the case. While I can't give them a 5 star review, I am making this edit from 1 to 3 stars. The willingness to talk it out and apologize goes a long way, and that is admirable since in the end we are not perfect.

Robert showed up for our scheduled appointment on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable in explaining the options available to replace my old air conditioner. We settled on the best unit for my house and scheduled an installation time. His installation team showed up on time, and had removed and replaced the air conditioner in two hours time. I Have been looking for the HVAC company to replace my old and damaged air ducts. I had one estimate from one of companies. But I wanted a few more estimates. Somehow I found Alaskan company. I was blessed to meet supervisor Chad. He was sincere, honest, pleasant and very intelligent young man Who spent his time to explain about HVAC system and even checked my new air conditioning and heater to make sure they were installed well. Make a Long long story to shorter, his estimate was very good and I got an appointment for air duct installation right next day. But I wasn’t comfortable to accept the agreement because warranty on materials wasn’t clear. So sadly, I cancelled the appointment on the same night. Chad called me next morning after he made some phone calls to supplier to get the warranty information for me. He even drove to my house to show me the email from supplier’s supervisor. Actually I got the BEST material and labor warranty after I went through frustration, disappointment and doubt on Chad. I have never met anyone who was willing to go extra miles to help client to get the best warranty and satisfaction. He even saved a spot for my installation right next day with the BEST team of two installers. Armando and Alex were a great team to work together. They were very pleasant, hard workers and professional. They worked all day until 8 pm. They looked exhausted but they were still pleasant and smiling instead of being grouchy. They even picked up my filter from their shop when they went to pick up supplies. And replaced it with an old filter for me. They suctioned each air ducts outlets and floor. They covered with plastic wherever needed it. Especially Armando was very thorough when he was suctioning each air duct outlets even though he was hungry and exhausted. He even took his time to look for one screw he saw earlier on my drive way. He had to turn on the flash light from his cell phone to find it. He didn’t want me to have a flat tires from it. And Alex seems to know exactly what he was doing with his skill. He even drew the map of my air duct replacement for the better air flow. I was very impressed by and happy with their excellent team work with pleasant attitude!! I also want to thank to Rachelle who was very nice and pleasant whenever I need to call the company. Overall I feel very blessed with an entire experience with this company. Chad even referred me to the excellent attic Insulation person!! Chad, you are not only a great supervisor but also an awesome and inspiring person!!! I sincerely appreciate you for everything you have done for me with this wonderful experience with New Air Duct Installation. God Bless You and Your Family!! Thank you ALL very much!!!

Alaskan is the best! Hands down! Marcel is an amazing, honest, expert technician, working long hours around the clock to ensure everyone's emergency A/C needs are met. I tried to work with my home warranty to get a tech out to repair my air conditioning unit when it failed a home inspection for a sale. Not only was the contracted tech from the other company ripping me off with more refrigerant than the system is capable of holding, but nothing was actually getting repaired. Multiple visits were required and everyone lost trust. I called back to Alaskan with my urgent request, and Marcel came back out that night to check on my unit, verify repairs, and give everyone assurance that my home was ready for the sale to proceed. I wish i had simply gone with Marcel from the beginning and never wasted time with my home warranty. Alaskan will service your appliances and systems with expert techs, who are friendly, motivated, honest, and willing to help despite the Vegas heat and long days. They use quality parts, and the service plan is worth every penny. Go with Alaskan, and ask for Marcel!

Saturday evening, 7pm, 105 degrees outside, I called they sent a Technician, he diagnosed problem, had part on his truck. 2 hrs. later he was done!! Couldn’t say enough about the Technician, courtesy, efficient, polite, knowledgeable. Great Co. thanks for having that kind of service and great Tech’s!! Did I mention Saturday night 7pm, 105 degrees and responds in 20 minutes!! I’d like to give them 6 stars! And what about the price you ask? Well if you factor in the temperature & the day & the time, I’d say very reasonable!!

Overall very pleased with Alaskan!!! Above and beyond!!! Jeff was the technician, he showed up professional and very nice. He had the water heater that I purchased from a big box store. And of course no blame to Alaskan, I ordered a different unit than the one I needed. My water heater was very unique and very scarce. Jeff was very quick with a solution. He got on the phone, found the unit and gave me a great quote, I knew it was a good estimate because I had already had other companies come out with offers. Jeff came back first thing in the morning with the correct unit. He had it installed, with running hot water, in just a little over 2 hours!!! I said it before, I'll say it again! Above and beyond!!!

They installed a new Hot Water Heater in December for us as an Authorized Installer of Lowe's. Then we called them for a quote for new HVAC System right away. They are professional, clean uniforms with employees names on them, Company name on all their Service Trucks, had Rebates for the Lennox Unit and were reasonably priced, Install date on time, and worked so efficiently with no mess. Alaskan installed a new AC unit for me a couple of years ago. They were on time and clean. I had to have a check up on my unit to make sure everything was running well. Had another company put up solar and change some things to make the house more energy efficient. That didn't go so well. Call Alaskan to come back to the house to fix the thermostat. They worked their magic. I love how helpful and concern they are to make us comfortable during these hot summer days

Alaskan Heating and Air has been amazing. Been a client for many years. Had two of my HVAC systems changed, which is never an exciting expense, for some it financially devastating replacing one unit let alone two. The team at Alaskan gave us many options and never tried any crazy sales tactics to pressure us or upsell to something we didn’t need. Also they have a plumbing division and offers free inspection if worried about the life of your water heater.

Alaskan Heating sent Jaime and Manu to install a new 2 HVAC system. Before the installation process, a protective plastic covering was laid on the floor and stairwell. The job includes fixing the leak from the roof and installing a separate return to one of the bedrooms. The total cost is a lot less than another bidder. After the installation, Jaime and Manu shows me how the new thermostat works and when I expect the city inspector and drywall repair guy would contact me. Apart from being polite and courteous, Jaime and Manu left the premises in clean condition. I may add, Marcel, the guy who submitted the proposal is great as well.

It was time for the servicing of our furnace to prepare for the winter months and I did not need to remind them, they contacted me! Marcel Swift came out for the servicing. He was very knowledgable, respectful and answered my questions so that I understood him clearly. He was wonderful! He even took the time to check out our AC unit and answer a question I had. I also love how Alaskan Plumbing, Heating and Air set up their appointments over the phone with friendly personnel who make us feel like we are special customers. They offered a free plumbing inspection of our entire home and also checked out our hot water heater, drained and refilled it at no cost to us. We had a different technician come out to do the plumbing. James Insley came within a half hour of Marcel leaving. Alaskan called to let us know what time James would be here (as they did when Marcel was on his way) James was equally as knowledgable about his plumbing service walking through out our house with me inspecting it all; finding no issues. Jame was easy to talk to as he explained what he was doing and the condition of our old water heater. Without any pressure at all gave us the information we will need in the next few years to replace it. He was also wonderful to work with. The quality of service from the initial phone call to the the technicians is superior at Alaskan! PS: Alaskan installed a new furnace and AC unit for us last year and i wish I had the names of those two technicians who were outstanding!!

I just want to comment on the technician-Angelica. She arrived on time and was pleasant , friendly and very knowledgeable about our system.The service required her to go into the attic which she did safely. Angelica left the work area clean. When the service was complete she informed us that our ducts were very dusty and suggested a cleaning. All we ever heard about duct cleaning was that it was a scam and pretty expensive. We made no decision at this time.I would recommend your company along with this technician. She is an asset to your company.

I have to tell you all about my experience with Alaskan. My main company has an office with large A/C units on top. They have handled all of them like champs, so what I did then was this. I am a property manager with 13 properties (homes) that I have another company doing all this for me. So beings that I have noticed my last company basically slacking bad, I change out them for Alaskan Heat & Air. I LOVE THEM!!! My favorite person so far is Matthew, likes being called Matt (because that was the name he left on my message) who has always been very prompt and professional. I also had another gentleman who was very nice and professional as well, I just prefer Matt. This company does everything right from calling ahead (I request a 30 minute) to let you know he's on his way. To showing you how to change out your air filters if needed in between visits. He also makes sure you have no doubts about anything or have any questions not asked or not answered to your satisfaction. They do not try to find something to replace if there isn't anything needed. Love Them!! Merry Christmas to me.

Last weekend my AC unit would not turn on. I called one repair company and they guesstimated that I would need a full servicing, at a minimum and most likely a new compressor. I called Alaskan after a friend recommended them and was pleasantly surprised that their impression of my situation wasn't nearly as bad/expensive as the other company made it sound. They were able to make it out early the next morning and not only was their diagnosis over the phone correct but the repair time/cost was also less than they had initially estimated. I used my home warranty company initially when I was having problems with my HVAC. They sent out a company that can only be described as horrific, AMA Heating(Don't ever use!!). They were supposed to replace entire system, and over a 4 month period, couldn't complete the work. They were unresponsive, unprofessional, and seem like they knew nothing of the system. I went outside the warranty company and contacted Alaskan HAC on a Saturday. By that night, I had an estimate. By Monday morning after 3 hrs of work, they brought both my systems up to code and fully charged and functioning with the final part being installed. Jobab is an awesome technician! ! My air conditioner at our airbnb broke down in July on a late Saturday night. I called at least a dozen companies starting with the ones with the most and highest reviews. I left my messages with the receptionist and/or answer machines. On August 15th, my wife and I awoke to find no air conditioning on the first floor of our home. With the temperature projected to reach 108 that day, I called Alaskan Air at 8:00 AM hoping to find someone in the office. To my surprise, Patty answered and upon learning that we are on an annual maintenance plan with Alaskan Air she said that she would have a technician dispatched within the hour…another surprise! The technician (Marcel) arrive within 45 minutes……another surprise! Marcel confirmed our fears….one of our 15 year old heat pumps was beyond repair……not a surprise, because Alaskan Air had provided a warning previously. After checking the Alaskan work schedule with Patty, Marcel said they could replace our entire system that day…..another surprise! By noon, a crew of five technicians (Omar, Armondo, Jason, Alex, and Jamie) arrived with all the components for our new system. For six hours, they worked as a well-coordinated team (without a break) in 106-degree heat to complete the installation. By 6 PM our new Lennox HVAC system was cooling our home……a final, and very pleasant, surprise! Every Alaskan Air employee in the chain of events that resulted in the installation of our new Lennox HVAC system was knowledgeable, courteous, efficient and sensitive to our comfort and convenience. We are pleased to have been treated as such valued customers. The ownership of Alaskan Air deserves credit for having assembled such a well-trained and service-oriented team. Excellent Service from Bogdan at Alaskan Heating & Air Conditioning! Called ahead to let us know he was arriving 10 minutes early, stayed until the job was completely done, answered all my questions, and followed up with a phone call 2 days later to verify the AC was still cooling the house! I had someone else (random company) come out to inspect it last year, and he said nothing was wrong, and it was simply too hot. Well, same symptoms this year, and Bogdan quickly explained there wasn't enough refrigerant. We opted for the 3 yr service plan, since this company has excellent reviews, and got a pound of refrigerant free. After putting in refrigerant, my AC cooled the upstairs almost instantly. I know my system is outdated, but at least I have cool air again for the same electric bill. I'm grateful for everything Bogdan explained, the prompt courteous service, booties to cover shoes in the house, and honest service. Call Alaskan for your AC needs, and ask for Bogdan!!!

This was likely the most thorough $49.00 inspection (Angie's List special) of my now 22-year-old furnace that I recall having experienced. The technician, Jobab, called me with 30-40 minutes advance notice on the day of service to let me know that he was coming. Jobab was not at all rushed and spent about one hour at my residence systematically going through everything on my semi-ancient furnace. He's also a pleasant person, easy to talk to. An unexpected problem with the furnace suddenly not functioning after having worked fine initially also was resolved satisfactorily. Since the time is inevitably coming to purchase some new HVAC equipment, I did get an estimate from Alaskan Air for doing so and will seriously be considering this company when the work needs to be done.

I had a new unit installed in our casita. It was a mini-split wall mount indoor unit. The representative was Joseph Moss that sold us the unit. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He answered all of our questions and had a good attitude the whole time. He explained everything about the new unit. He gave me a card to call him if I had any other questions before or after the installation. I read the booklet that came with the new unit and I had questions regarding the information in the booklet and Joseph answered all of the questions. I called the office to review all of the information in regard to warranties and permits. They take care of all of the paperwork. They also have a great service agreement after the sale; they cover the cost of twice yearly service check ups for the unit they installed. In talking to the office; I talked to Dominic; and he stated that the free service agreements were good until 2030. Jaime Villegas installed the unit. He covered everything inside with plastic. He did not scratch or get dirty anything he came in contact with. The unit on the wall was installed and was perfectly level. The outside unit he tied down to the cement pad so it could not be moved. He painted the gutter through which the electrical wiring, refrigeration pipes, and condensation pipe passed through. The gutter paint matched the color of the outside wall. Jaime explained the operation of the unit; and how to use the remote to run the unit. Jaime was very patient and knowledgeable during this whole process.
