These guys were great! They were very professional and courteous throughout the whole process. The owner (Randy) and one of the three sons (Jacob) came out to install a brand new heat pump. I have a 30 year old system and had others in the past try to scare me into buying an entirely new system at outrageous prices. Randy Wise shot me straight and told me I could get more years out of my current one. 3 years later and it still runs! We lost power a few nights ago and it kicked the blower off and the capacitor blew. Today, Jacob Wise was repairing my system within 2 hours of me calling them. He shot me straight and told me it only needed a new capacitor. Also said it was still running great and seemed like it still had some years left. I will never use another HVAC company. Wise is fair, truthful, and downright good people!

I want to give a shout-out to the Wise team for a great job installing a new HVAC system recently. I first called them last year when I had no AC for a night. Jake Wise came out the same day I called and repaired the problem. I had another AC problem 2 weeks ago and out came Jake, the next day, to add refrigerant . Three days later, no AC again. I left a message on Sunday and got am immediate call back, and again, Jake came out the next day. The refrigerant leak was past the repair point. It was time to retire my 30 year old HVAC and get a new one. Jake topped off the refrigerant at no charge to keep it cool until the Wise team could schedule the installation two days later. I couldn't ask for a more professional and friendly installation. It said a lot when the team got out their own vacuum for final clean-up.

I am so happy with the quality of the install and the attention to detail from everyone at Wise I don't even know where to begin singing their praises. The Quote Process: Right from the start when Wise came in to look things over and give me a quote I was impressed. I dislike pushy sales people and Zachary Wise was far from that. He talked to me as a person, down to earth and in a language I understood. He works on what he sells. The family has been in the business for 38 + years, and Zachary understood what houses in the area were built to do, and what the house needed. Later on that day, I had a couple of questions after having a couple of other companies quote... I was able to call him and ask those questions and get straight forward answers. It didn't seem like I was burdening or bothersome to him. Before then end of the day I had a Quote from the guys at Wise for prices on two different systems, sized to my house appropriately. Pricing on these was very attractive. So much so, I went to the Bryant website to look at other options for equipment (Wise is a Bryant dealer) and I ended up asking about a different system (a sizable upgrade) and they came back with a quote on that system pretty quick, that was awesome. The Install Process: I had been looking to replace the Heating and AC systems for some time, and had just started the process to get quotes when the AC went out. Wise came in on the Monday to quote and Tuesday night I signed the contract. Knowing how the weekend was going to heat up, the guys at Wise arranged their schedule so that they could come do the install that Friday before the hot weather hit on the Sunday/Holiday Monday. When they showed up on Friday morning, 4 guys (pretty much the whole company I think) showed up and spent the whole day getting it all up and running. I think at one point I had all the Wise brothers (except one) as well as Randy Wise (who is a trip!) on this job. The quality of the install is unsurpassed. They took all things into account and planned for things well. Noticing water in the backyard (drainage problem here) they decided to build a raised pad for the new AC so that it would never sit in water. Having high quality sheet metal boxes built locally to assist with the fit and finish of the product, to making sure the new wiring was tucked into place and out of the way. Nothing loose or out of place. At the end Zachary (a perfectionist!) spent a good 10 minutes looking for an air whistle that I couldn't even hear...and made sure it was sealed up and good to go! Awesome! Some companies are very sales oriented, not these guys... they are one of the most service oriented companies I have run across in the Louisville area! No dedicated sales people on commission. Through the whole process, I was treated as a person... never as a wallet. They understand you have to do what is best for your family! Your HVAC system is an investment and the guys at Wise know this, they want you to get the most out of your investment. Based on what I know about the character of these people, they will be the only company I use for maintenance on the product they just installed. Long review I know, and you can probably tell I am very happy with the product and the service. Need some work done? Looking at new systems... do yourself a favor...get a quote from Wise and meet the team. You won't be sorry that you did!

We have used Wise for about 4 years now. We had an old existing system they helped to service and keep running. When the system finally bit the dust they gave us multiple quotes and advice about the best system for our home. They scheduled the install and arrived on time. They are clean cut and professional, extremely polite and take care of your home. They protected carpets and cleaned ever bit of mess from the install. I don't write many reviews, but in this case I certainly had to. Don't hesitate, call these folks! They are first and foremost honest and compassionate, and they aren't afraid to help walk you through any repair they deem appropriate. I guarantee that if you call these people, you wont be calling anyone else. 7/12/22 Edit: Jack came and saved the day today! My AC went out and he responded within 30 minutes, had my system back up and running in another 30 minutes. Wise is amazing!

Randy (the owner!) and Tyler came out to look at my A/C that wasn't working at all (no fan etc. nothing). Randy did a ton of thorough troubleshooting and educated me on several things about my unit that I wasn't aware of and ultimately fixed the issue. The cost was very reasonable for the level of service I received and I cannot recommend them enough!

Randy Wise and his sons were the most professional and forthright of the three companies from whom I obtained estimates. They were also the most reasonably priced. They were incredibly responsive to my texts and telephone inquiries leading up to the installation. It was tremendously helpful dealing directly with the owner of the company. His sons were extremely professional, well-mannered and helpful in answering questions I had about various options I was considering. I researched the various AC and furnace brands and found the company that makes the Bryant equipment installed by Wise Heating & AC is also the maker of other competing brands. During the estimate phase, Zach Wise who provided the estimate did not try to upsell me and carefully considered the best options for me to include researching the square footage of my home via PVA records (something no other companies did.) I was interested in including a UL light as part of the install to help with reducing mold, viruses, and bacteria on the cooling coil. Zach said, although there are lights that would cost well over $1,000, he recommended a light that he and his family members installed at their homes which was priced under $200. Randy and his sons arrived promptly on the day of install and completed all the work in a very professional and quality manner. I was extremely impressed by their diligence in ensuring everything was done in a professional manner. Everything was cleaned up at the conclusion of the project. I highly recommend Wise Heating & AC for their professionalism, quality of work, pricing and honesty.

The Wise guys (yeah, I said it) replaced the larger HVAC unit (both AC/coil and furnace) for our Norton Commons home yesterday. I’ve seen online reviews that describe an experience with a product or service provider as like being with family. Hiring Wise is just that, like hanging out with your family for a day. From start to finish, their attention to detail, professionalism, know-how, and communication skills were top-notch. White glove stuff. There were no corners cut. They simply did it right. One example from yesterday- the furnace came with a minuscule dent in the exterior cabinet. They said, “We wouldn’t accept this for our own homes, so we won’t accept it for yours.” They waited for more than an hour while one of the Wise brothers went to fetch a replacement. First class. I would never use one of the big boy HVAC providers in Louisville when Wise is superior in every way. One more thing- their prices are also the best in town. Thanks, Wise.

Wise Heating & Air Conditioning saved us when we were most in need. Our air conditioning went out this past weekend and we tried everything we knew to reset it before trying to seek out help. The technician who came to resolve our issue, Zach, was there first thing this morning. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and fast to get to it. SAVED ME FROM BEING SCAMMED!!!! I had an hvac company (Elite) come out to do a free inspection of my furnace. I was told my heat exchange was bad and it would be just as much to replace the furnace and that the rest of the system was on it's last leg. I was quoted $6000 total!!!! I called Wise for a second opinion and they found a leaky hose. A very inexpensive fix. I told the technician what Elite quoted me and the tech assured me that there was nothing wrong with my furnace outside of the hose. He even said I had another 10 or more years left. So grateful for the professionalism and honesty. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Wise exceed expectations! If you need new HVAC in the Louisville area just stop reading now and contact them. It's only been a few days, but the new HVAC units seem to be doing an exceptional job. The job ended up being more in depth and took longer to complete than the bid represented. However, there were no additional product charges or labor fees. The Wise guys (giggle) are professional and know their s#it. Their work ethic is phenomenal. The crew worked like head-down mules from 8:30 AM to around 5:00 PM ... only took a small lunch break. That may seem like a little longer than normal to install a new HVAC unit, however, as i mentioned they ran into unexpected problems. Replaced several pieces they weren't expecting (ducts, base, etc) ... it was after all 1989 units, so stuff was all messed up. If you need a new HVAC, i can't think of a way to more highly recommend this company,

Excellent experience beginning to end. Proposal was provided quickly and all questions were handled quickly and accurately. The final price was reasonable. We had to wait a couple of weeks for some of our equipment to arrive, but once it did, the installation was scheduled in a few days. The installation crew arrived on time, in force, and got right to work, finishing before the end of the day. As they were packing up, Randy walked through everything they had done with me, and we noticed a couple of small items that had been forgotten. He returned the next day to resolve them acceptably.

Wise HVAC gives unparalleled service for the price. They installed a duel fuel system comprised of a two stage 16 seer heat pump paired with a Carrier Infinity high efficiency gas furnace. Also installed a Trane AC condenser at my home. Cost was half of most other bids. I have referred them to about twenty five other HVAC replacements over the years and everyone is surprised at the value.

After my furnace froze during a period of arctic cold, this company exceeded all expectations for service, responsiveness and advocacy. Starting with trying to repair my system, to ultimately installing a new system and then to providing information over and over again to the State Farm insurance adjuster who insisted on only reimbursing for repair costs (even though it would have taken over 90 days, leaving me with no heat, in the middle of winter) rather than for replacement costs. I simply cannot recommend this company more highly! I would give 10 stars if I could.
