This is the very first time I used Elder Heating & AC. Thankfully they were able to work me in, within me calling just one day before. Which I especially was grateful for since I have to go in the hospital on Thursday. Not only were they on time, they were actually early!! Really, how often does that happen? The technicians were very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. They were able to repair my AC quickly and thankfully it was the least expensive of the two options. I was so amazed and happy with everyone at Elder Heating & AC from the receptionist to the technicians. They all cared about my situation and satisfaction. I contacted Elder when our second floor heating unit started to fail. Their scheduler was very polite and was able to schedule a same-day appoint to have the unit inspected. I was given a call in advance of their arrival as requested. The technician was on-time and quickly identified the problem and contacted me by phone to discuss repairs. Repairs were made at a reasonable rate and our heat was back up and running within 6 hours of my initial call. The service we received was impeccable from start to finish. I was very impressed! If I could give them 6 stars, I would!!

After having someone tell me I overpaid for the refrigerant refill, I started checking around and found their prices to be pretty high for R22. They were totally upfront about the prices, and I agreed to it before they did the work, but when you have heat in the 90's and no AC, I just wanted things working as quickly as possible. I found that they charged about 4-5 times what the R22 sells for, plus a service charge. I'm all for someone making a profit, and they were able to come out quickly, but the price seems excessive.

I went through 6 different HAVC companies and they where the best. They are very honest. They made sure my problems where taken care of. Found things wrong with the unit, very fast. Called on Friday, and Will came out on Saturday but charged rate for normal work hours. Will was knowledgeable, professional, personable, and attentive. He quickly diagnosed the problem and applied the appropriate corrective action in short order. He also made sure that the system was working correctly before leaving. Based on this initial experience, we also signed up for their ongoing maintenance program.

My furnace started acting up at exactly the wrong time (when it was 9 degrees out at night, ugh) and the Elder team was extremely quick to get out to see what was going on. Turns out there was a major problem with the unit and it was leaking CO into the house and needed replaced, turn around time to get this done was fantastic! We woke up this morning with no heat. I called Elder at 830 am and someone was here by 10 am. They had to go get a part and just finished the repair before lunch. And the cost wasn’t too bad either. William installed a NEST learning thermostat 3 for me and took the time to get it online and help me to sync it with the program on my phone. I was going to have him do the annual maintenance on the AC unit, he checked the unit out and come back with an honest assessment, the AC unit managed to fuse some relays and some other components and remained us the unit was 25+ years old, he said he would be glad to fix it but it wasn't going to be cheap, he suggested replacing it. What I liked was he wasn't pushy either way and he didn't badger me for the work. I got a home warranty I can't wait to see there reply. Honestly if it was up to me I would keep William and his company instead of whoever the home warranty people send, they were all disasters, Im trying a different home warranty this year home there professionals.

Late one evening recently our furnace stopped working. Elder was quick to send a service technician to our home that night. It was determined the furnace was unsafe. Elder gave us a price and ordered a new furnace. Even though it took more parts and extra time Elder stood by the original price. They installed the new furnace quickly and were very professional. The men were very respectful of our home, cleaning up after themselves. We talked with the installers about a humidifier and They encouraged us to try the new furnace out for a few days before spending extra money. While we ultimately had them install a new humidifier, we appreciated their recommendations and work. We would definitely recommend Elder Heating and Air for your heating and air needs!! They came out same-day to repair heating system that stopped working in the middle of winter. Very friendly and helpful. Gave us option of repairing broken part versus getting a new system. Same day went and got new part and installed. Always very happy to work with them.

They do great work. I just got a bill from them for 187.00. Last year a tech missed his appointment. He had to the hospital. I had to make the appointment for another day.He said that he cleared it with his boss that we would get this years cleaning free of charge. The man already came and cleaned the ac unit. Just got charged for freon. They would put it in the computer. it's not right.

Elder came out to my house on a referral from my friend who is a home inspector for a second opinion I was given from Bryant. The gentleman was very nice who came out. The new ductwork design opened up the living area and really transformed the space into an inviting family room. The owner himself came to the house and redesigned the layout. This is a great honest company. I had previously gotten an estimate from another company and they gave me an outrageous quote and said my air could not be fixed at that time, until I ordered certain part. So, my son and I went another 2 days without air in 100 degree weather. A friend told me to call Elder, so I did and they came out the same day... Dauenhauer tried to rip me off by telling me it would cost them $1200.00 to clean my unit, on top of charging me $60.00 to come out, and I needed a whole new one at $6,000.00. Elder came out, assessed the problem, absorbed their fee into cost of replacing some Freon (which Elder only charged me $100.00 per gallon while Dauenhauer told me it would be $130.00 per gallon) for a couple hundred. Literally, I spent $200.00 with this company and my air is working again. DO NOT GO WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY than Elder. Trane, Dauenhauer, all the others will try to rip you off because they work off commission. Elder is HONEST, and they are doing right by their customers. And I can PROMISE all those other lying companies, when it comes time to replace my unit, I'll be giving Elder my $6,000.00 because they didn't try to rip me off like you did!

Our air conditioner went out on a very hot day. My wife has a very rare disease where she cannot be in the heat because the pain in her feet and legs is so severe because of nerve damage and blood vessel damage. Elder was called in late morning and within a couple hours the gentleman came out, found out what the problem was. The Motor going out on the air conditioner there wasn't one to be found at the time but he was headed out to borrow a motor that was Universal to every air conditioner so we would have air conditioning. As it turned out when he did go out he did find a new motor he put it in he worked I know at least 2 hours or more past quitting time. This repairman was such a lifesaver for my wife and the company we've dealt with him before and they've always been sincere and honest. I hope this gentleman is recognized for how responsible he is and how honest he is.

I have been meaning for a week or so to write and thank you. You were truly a blessing to my family. I am my mother's eldest child, and have not been able to look after her as much I did in the past. This due to my military career and current station. She told me how you inspected her heating system and found that her water heater was not venting probably. And within a few weeks of your inspection her furnace broke down. I have in the past been responsible for the upkeep of her yearly maintanence, but have not been able too for the past 3 years. So it hurt me to hear she was having these issues in the middle of the winter. But I truly believe your company was Heaven sent. She told me that you replaced the furnace for a fraction of what other companies would have charged. And also that the "Boss" approved the work and material needed to correct the water heaters vent, without any additional charges.
