We’ve used Air Comfort for regular tune-ups and repairs for at least 10 years. We’ve also had a second system installed by them. They’ve always been solid. Mindy is super nice and she’s on top of scheduling and reminders. Mark is to the point and transparent. All the techs we’ve had know their stuff, they do the work quickly, they make fair recommendations, and they don’t mind explaining things. The latest tech, Brian, tuned up our furnace - he was on time, thorough and respectful. I recommend this local business and the people who work there.

I gave them five stars because the importance of reviews of service is not to praise people only when things go right but more so to praise people when they respond the right way when things are not perfect, even minor issues after installation. Excellent service. Both installers were good and professional. Great service. The front office, Mindy, was also very good. They forgot to turn the hot water on, though, after they finished the job. I'm not a skilled person to deal with that kind of stuff, even a minor issue; we called, and they were very professional. Cody returned the next day and went beyond his duties to help us figure out what happened and to get our starter from the water heater back on. I would use them again.

Air Comfort of KY has serviced our heating & cooling systems for a number of years. We contacted them today because of a "rattle" that was coming from our outside A/C unit. Air Comfort had a technician out this afternoon (same day!) to service the unit. They even reached out with a 30-minute text alert to let me know the technician was on his way. I contracted Air Comfort to install a mini split heating and air conditioning unit for an addition that was built to my home but was inadequately heated and cooled. While the cost was a bit pricey, I have to say that it is making a world of difference this winter. All the folks I worked with from the sales manager, installers, and front office personnel were very professional, courteous, genuinely nice people who knew their business and genuinely wanted to make sure I was pleased every step of the way. I plan to use them to do the annual services on my home HVAC system after terminating my contract with another business due to unacceptable response time when I needed them most. The unit is brand new and I have high hopes that as the years go on, I can count on the same professional service from Air Comfort.

I was so impressed with the service I received at the end of the day on a Friday before a holiday weekend. With temperatures below zero, my furnace stopped running. Facing a weekend with no heat (over Christmas, no less) and hosting houseguests, I feared the worst. Cody came out, through the ice and snow, and was able to determine and fix the problem. Air Comfort has been my go to company for all HVAC related needs for about 15 years after the company who originally installed my Carrier A/C system took so many shortcuts it wouldn’t operate properly. Air Comfort fixed the botched installation and replaced damaged parts under the manufacturer’s warranty. I turned around and had Air Comfort install an updated gas furnace which has performed flawlessly for 12 years.

After getting several quotes from other installers I was impressed when Air Comfort's installer actually did the calculations to work out the correct size we needed (the others mostly just guessed). The quote was reasonable - and when they turned up to do the install they were very professional, with the install being very tidy, any mess being cleaned up, and the system worked fine. I wouldn't hesitate to use Air Comfort again, and probably will do so next year.

I have an older Carrier 2 stage system (2010) that I’ve owned since 2015. There are a number of unique constraints that require specialized attention; for example my systems are over capacity for this sized home. Also, this custom home has an interesting installation; one wrong setting this system can raise my total daily AC consumption above 110KWH in a single day Not only a customer, I get to work with their technicians and owners to diagnose solutions which during peak season had been a win-win for both of us.

I’ve had an annual maintenance contract with Air Comfort for many years. It has been a great decision. They contact me when it is time to do the cleaning and system check, so I don’t have to remember to schedule it myself. Overall I’ve been very happy with the service that I’ve gotten over the years.

My attic A/C had an error code so I turned it off. It’s 97 degrees and feels like 107 degrees. Called several places and everyone was out 2-3 weeks. I called AirComfort as they are a Trane dealer and they guy a service guy the next morning first thing! I needed a new capacitor. The whole thing took less than two hours and now I’m chillin! Thank You AirComfort and Cody. Job well done. My call was answered, I didn’t have to leave a message and my problem was fixed the next day. You can’t beat that service when the whole of Louisville has air conditoners dropping like flies due to the never ending heateave we have right now.

Robbie from Air Comfort came and did maintenance on our AC and Furnace and then installed a new furnace for us when we realized ours was past its useful life. He went above and beyond - making sure that the vents were correctly installed, not only for the furnace, but for our water heater and AC as well. Everything is in tip top shape now. Our outside condensor unit quit working during the hottest week of the year. Spoke with Mendy and was scheduled for the very next day. She was very knowledgeable about what the issue probably was. The next morning Cody and Mason arrived on time and got started right away. It could have either been a capacitor or the entire motor. The capacitor was going to be much cheaper. They could have told me anything but they said it was only the capacitor that was the issue. I've never had a company do any sort of annual maintenance before, but they told me the bad capacitor would've been caught during a maintenance visit. After they told me about the annual maintenance plan I signed up. They didn't try to scare me into signing up for the plan, and there was absolutely no pressure, but it honestly didn't sound like a bad price for having someone come out twice a year to check on things. Overall very happy I found them on the Trane website!

My family’s furnace went out and Air Comfort of Kentucky was amazing. We were having trouble with our home warranty company and Air Comfort of KY did everything in their power to help us. Mindy was very helpful with my mom and Mark (who actually came to fix the furnace when he could) was incredible. Mark was very knowledgeable and experienced. A second tech was with Mark and he made sure the tech was also doing things properly and took the time to explain things to him as well. Last weekend our air conditioner stopped working. We called a company we had used in the past to assess the problem. After paying the after hours fee, we were delivered the news that we would either need to spend a lot of money for diagnostics and repair or would need to replace the entire unit. We called our neighbors, recalling that they had reported a positive experience with the company that they used last year when replacing their air conditioner. They told us to call Air Comfort of KY. They were one of two companies that we called for quotes. When the other company came out, they didn't even look at the unit. They laid out the new unit options and were briskly out the door. When the Air Comfort sales representative, Cynthia, came out to discuss new units, she repeatedly suggested that we have a service technician come out to determine whether we could repair our current unit instead. Mark, the general manager and service technician, came out about an hour later and investigated the problem thoroughly. He found the problem within minutes and provided us with a solution that saved us thousands of dollars. We were able to fix our existing unit instead of having to purchase a new one. In addition, Mark worked us into the schedule the next morning for repairs. The service technician, Keith, performed the repairs and even made a special trip to pick up a load of special order filters to fit our furnace. We highly recommend Air Comfort of Kentucky for all of your HVAC needs. They provide excellent service with integrity and dependability. We will definitely use them in the future and will encourage everyone we know to do so as well.

Air Comfort was assigned to do a second opinion of my furnace by my home warranty company. The first company that came out did not do a proper diagnosis and tried to deny my claim. When Air Comfort came out, they determined I had a cracked heat exchanger on my furnace making it unsafe. They replaced the furnace in a timely manner and made sure I had everything I needed. They are very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC work you need done.
