Mowery is simply amazing. Both Chris and Matt were both very skillful, experienced and knowledgeable. Chris gave us wonderful advice on the best course of action regarding replacing or repairing our discontinued toilet, and ultimately, we replaced it. Matt came to install it the day I scheduled it, and he was fabulous and efficient. I'm also impressed and delighted that a real person picks up the phone on the first ring, and everyone has been wonderful - even the sales person I spoke to about my options for buying a toilet through them or elsewhere. The final bill was exactly as Chris had quoted me, and I'm totally "sold" on Mowery....they will be my go-to local company for all our plumbing needs. I truly cannot praise them enough. Thank you Mowery for being a top notch and honest business - charging fairly and never try to up-sell. Please never change!

I’ve used Mowery for approx 30 years in 3 different homes. I’ve always been pleased. The technician that usually comes, Clint, is outstanding. Friendly and thorough. I needed a new HVAC system. The sales representative, Gregg, was professional and explained all my options thoroughly. I had my yearly furnace and gas log inspection today. As always, Mowery sends clean-cut, polite, knowledgeable repairman to your house. Today the repairman were Derek and Jeremiah. I am extremely happy with the service that Mowery provides. They have been to my House several times through the years. They installed my gas fireplace, they’ve checked my sump pump, they inspect my AC in the spring, and my furnace and gas logs in the fall. I know if I need them for other things, I can count on dependable, competent people to be at my house. Also want to add, when you place a call to Mowery, the people who answer the phones are also also very polite and helpful. I love that they’re local, and you don’t have to jump through hoops to speak to a person.

Top notch experience! From my initial phone call, to my diagnostic, and to my repair. They were able to get me an appointment to have my water heater looked at the same day that I called. I was worried since it was coming up on a holiday weekend, but they made sure to make time for me. I spoke with Autumn and Brooke and they were so helpful and nice. Devin got to my home and was very polite and respectful. He was knowledgeable and able to diagnose the problem fairly quickly. He had everything needed to fix the element issue with him and was able to knock it out in less than an hour. Highly recommend!

For this visit, our thermostat went out - three days before the winter storm was to hit the area. Todd was wonderful! He was on time, professional and very friendly. Craig and Cory did an amazing job getting our 16 year-old furnace & a/c units out of the home and installing the new units carefully and professionally. We added an inline humidifier and better filtration cabinet, too. The two worked tirelessly, protecting our finished floors and stairs from damage and debris, and cleaned up after themselves. The salesman Jay did an amazing job of setting our expectations right and the installers did exactly as Jay said they would. This is a solid team. We have had a maimtenance agreement with Mowery for years, and will continue to do so. Thanks for the job well done.

Big shout out to Mike and Josh. Mike came out and evaluated my well line leak on a Saturday morning. He gave me a free estimate, which was a great price. Josh then came out a couple hours later and went above and beyond to get my leak fixed and made sure my system was working properly and of course no more leak. Been having our systems maintained by them for years and finally had to have it all replaced. Could not have been more courteous, accommodating or instructive during their entire day here. Woke up in the morning to find out our hot water was out so I called Mowery. Immediately I felt at ease talking to Brooke. She told me they could get someone out soon. Within the next hour, I received a call that Dawson was on his way. He showed up right on time and was very professional and friendly. He took a look at the water heater and quickly found the issue. He gave me my options and explained everything with no pressure and answered all my questions. Even without a scheduled visit, he was still able to install it the same day. Only issue I had was my full credit card, expiration date, name and address being emailed to me from the company, HUGE security issue for me personally. Definitely need to work on training for sensitive information and protocols to follow.

have used Mowery for many years now, and have always been satisfied with their work. Today I had heating and water heater maintenance; both Don and Chris were here. Don was professional, very knowledgeable and performed the furnace maintenance. Chris serviced the water heater and discovered a cracked valve. He repaired it right then so I didn't need another visit. And it probably prevented a water emergency. I am a very happy Mowery customer and will continue to use them for all my plumbing, and HVAC needs.

Have used Mowery home to maintain my heating and cooling in the past and was very happy with service. I have been away from getting the service I needed due to personal reasons. In the first of December 2022 I scheduled heater service and they came readily within a few days. Don was very nice to work with, on time and answered all my questions. Also found that I was heating and cooling my attic due to a drop in some of the duct work which he fixed. Don also signed me back up for the service plan with Mowery for HVAC. So now I am set for this cold winter and will be cool in the summer to come. Thank you Mowery and Don for all your help and service!

Jeremiah was prompt, clean, respectful, and knowledgeable. Hard to find great companies with great employees these days but Mowery is tops in their field! Not like the “dinosaur” that tried to sell me a $1,500.00 toilet to replace mine that I repaired for $16.00!!. We have used Mowery for several years for maintenance of our HVAC system and for a recent installation of a new system. They were suggested by other friends and family, so we decided to give them a try. Thankfully, they are always professional, on time and friendly. Their technicians are always willing to take time to explain any issues, repairs, or concerns. We recently had to replace our entire HVAC system. They did a great job of coming in, getting the old system out, installing the new system and explaining how to use our new system. The owner even stopped by and made sure everything was going well and that we were happy. We definitely love the new system too. It is smooth as butter! We would definitely recommend them. I called Mowery when our A/C stopped working at a time when it was in the 90s and humid. We were miserable and desperate. Donny came out and speculated that it might be something that would cost a lot of money to repair but he said that he couldn't be sure until the unit was shut down for a day. He came back early the next morning and I was fully expecting a $3500 repair or needing to replace the A/C. It ended up being a simple service issue and he had us up in running in no time. I'm very cynical when it comes to service providers in areas where I know little/nothing because most try to up-sell you whenever they can, whether you need the solution or not. Donny could have but didn't. I actually called and spoke to the owner to tell him how impressed I was with the tech he sent and the entire experience. His response "we really try to instill that if you are honest and just treat people fairly, they may not need something like a new A/C unit now, but hopefully when that time comes, they will remember how they were treated and come back to us". That is exactly what is going to happen when that time comes...not because I think Mowery has "better" A/C equipment or that I think it will be less expensive, but because now I trust them and they value that.

You cannot go wrong with this company. I have used them for my heating/air unit and just used them last Friday, Oct 14th, 2022 for a plumbing issue. Let me just tell you...I bought this place in 2021 and had another company install a new water heater and had them look at my shower problem. I was told I was looking at about $5,000 to fix the problem so I didn't do anything about it (no hot water coming thru all shower features). I decided to go with Mowery just to get an estimate....well guess what....Marcus with Mowery FIXED it!! And, at a very affordable price. I cannot say enough good about how pleased I am. So, I am now having Mowery install a new fireplace insert.....again, at a very affordable price. Thank you Mowery and especially to Marcus!!

To my surprise they serviced my equipment and got it running again for a fair price. Our house is only a year old and our furnace wasn't working. We called the company that installed it and they said they couldn't come out for a week. We called Mowery and they came out the same day which was late Friday afternoon. They ordered the part and had it overnighted and installed it a couple of days later. Clint H, our technician, was on time and very friendly. We signed a service contract and will use them for all of our heating and plumbing needs.

John P. was super good and so helpful. Water softner sitting next to water heater was leaking. I couldn't find where the leak was coming from. John knew immediately and showed us the problem (18 year old softner). I was so pleased he presented enough info that we knew for sure we needed a new softner. With no sales pressure whatsoever, we decided we wanted to go with Mowery for a new softner since every experience we've had with Mowery has been great. Despite being at work since 6:00AM, John P. got the new softner and installed it leaving at almost 9:00PM. Took time to completely explain the new system and set-it up to work at the time we wanted. My son has used Mowery numerous times and that is where I learned of them. After purchasing a large house in Avon we had need of two new HVAC systems and a new hot water heater. To make a very long story short we have now used their emergency services, maintainance contract services and instalations services. Of the dozen or so representatives with whom we have communicated at Mowery every one has been "off the chart" incredible. Just today Amad with heating and cooling and Jake with their plumbing division were here to service our systems. Just outstanding experience from scheduling to completing the work. Last year I had Mowery come out and service my gas fireplaces and that day I switched to Mowery for my furnace and AC maintenance plan as well as they were so good to work with. Flash forward to this week (Oct 2021), had an issue with the ejector pump float switch, and called Mowery to do that as well as flush my tankless water heater. Front office was super quick on scheduling and Matt (plumber) came out and took care of my water heater maintenance and diagnosed my ejector pump issue. Gave me options, got the needed parts quickly and came back a day later and fixed the ejector pump issue. Kudos to both Matt, as well as Bruce in the parts dept and Mowery overall. They are now my go to for heating & cooling, plumbing and gas fireplace maintenance now. Very reasonably priced compared to competitors and great service. Highly recommend.

He said he'd get someone to come out and clear the clog, and then he'd come back to replace some pipes and fixtures. Once Ron cleared the clog, I called Mowery to ask for Matt to come back out. He was back within an hour or two of my call, got his work done in a few hours, and explained what he did and taught me a bit about my house's plumbing. I've used Mowery several times and paid for the annual membership/maintenance fee (not sure what it's called) which helps save money on service calls and allows for free maintenance on my heating and cooling 2 times a year. This time I had an issue with my shower. I needed to replace hardware and it was going to become a bigger deal than expected but Matt was able to fix it with minimal impact to my shower area. He did a great job! It looks nice. I now have hot water again and no longer have to use pliers to turn on/shut off my shower (which is so nice!). Matt left my bathroom in better shape than when he arrived. He took care of a couple of other things which was much appreciated. The cost of fixing my shower was less than originally estimated. Mowery saved our bacon; I've never seen such a rapid response to an after hours emergency call. So the setting is Saturday night on Memorial Day weekend. These issues always have to occur at the most inopportune times. I had just finished an early shower, and was preparing for a movie night. However when I went to turn off the shower the water kept flowing. I may not be a plumber, but I knew this was a problem. Thankfully I have a contract with Mowery so I gave them a call to explain the situation. Less than 30 minutes after the call a Mowery representative named Jacob arrived. Called Mowery, about my furnace not working, on Friday and they sent Jon right out. He worked so diligently to try to get it working. He was so hard-working and kind. It was not to be and Gis came to talk to me about a new furnace after 6:00pm that night. He even stopped by the store and got space heaters for me before coming! He was very helpful and straightforward in helping me choose my new furnace. He tried hard to get the furnace put in the next day, but I had to wait until Monday. One of the space heaters didn't work so he brought 2 more for me on Saturday! Today, he brought Alec W. and Katcher L. to my house and introduced them. Our furnace stopped working on November 20, 2021. I called Mowery, as we have a service plan with them and have always enjoyed them, to see if they could come check it out. They had Clint out within the hour who diagnosed that we had a seized inducer motor. It's a part that is not kept in stock, so they had to order it and expedited the shipment given we'd be without heat until it was fixed. Clint returned on November 22, 2021 with the part in hand. I explained that I realized we still had a couple of weeks left on our home warranty and I'd like to run it through them given the part was nearly $700. Barbara agreed that Clint could speak with the home warranty company, and Clint took the time to answer all of their questions. Thanks to him, we're able to get reimbursed for some of the cost! However, after Clint installed the part and was able to finally turn the furnace on, he identified a larger issue with the heat exchanger. Our furnace is nearly 22 years old and essentially on it's last leg. Clint took the time to explain our options and provided his professional opinion that we should replace the furnace given its age and that these one off costs would continue to add up. Kraig arrived on November 23, 2021 to provide estimates on new furnaces and took time to explain our payment options, to include upfront payment that provides a significant discount or a payment plan that provides 0% interest for 60 months. He focused on furnaces that were affordable and in stock, and provided an option that was comparable to our existing furnace and an option that was more efficient and how it was more efficient. We selected a furnace and Alec and Katcher arrived on December 1, 2021 to install it. My littles were home with me that day, and Alec and Katcher joked around with them each time they passed through the living room, and they efficiently completed the job. They also took the time to explain all the features of our new thermostat. To top it off, Chip, the owner of Mowery, also stopped in during the install to see how they were doing and if I was satisfied with my service. His visit speaks volumes to this family business's ethics, and Chip took the time to answer my questions on whether I could get the new inducer motor off the older furnace so I could try to sell it and get some of my money back. He not only agreed to have the guys remove it and provide it to me, but also explained I would need to include my old furnace's model and serial number in my listing and ensured I had that information. He also noted he wanted to take this information back and see if they could comp me for at least a portion of the inducer motor. All in all, I was more than pleased with all of my interactions with the Mowery employees and they will always be my go-to in the future! Thanks Mowery!

I was very pleased with the service from Mowery in what turned out to be a very difficult situation. Don G came out and diagnosed several things wrong with our old air conditioning system, which had quit working. Basically, it was time for an upgrade. Giss came out and was very professional and knowledgeable in walking me through the steps of getting a new air conditioning system. We agreed on a price and installation date. Steve and Craig showed up on-time on the agreed date and spent all day working on the installation. They were very professional in taking out the old system and installing the new one. They answered all of our questions. However, once they left, the system stopped cooling the next day. Don G came back out and thought it was a wire in the thermostat. It started cooling, but within a few hours, quit again. The next day, Don G. returned and stayed all day fixing the issue- which turned out to be a faulty float switch that came that way from the manufacturer. Once fixed, it has cooled great ever since. I want to thank the great people of Mowery for helping us through the issue and sticking with it to get it working in tip-top condition. Don G, Steve, Craig, and Giss were all fantastic. The internal folks that worked I with in setting up the appointments and calling back for the various issues were also very professional and caring. I have worked with Mowery for years and will continue to do so.

Just wanted to thank Marcus Cooksey and the Mowery group for helping replace our cracked water heater that partially flooded our finished basement. Marcus arrived at our house within 10 minutes of calling Mowery to come out and look at our problem, all this on a Sunday morning. Marcus was a super nice guy. He came in assessed everything, provided me with a list of options and went straight to work. He was able to replace our 40 gallon water heater within hours, including hauling the old one out from our basement and bringing the new one in by himself without so much as putting a scratch on the wall. We have been experiencing a strong sewer smell in the garage for many months, even after a very extensive amount of sewer work that was done in the spring. What no other plumber had noticed was that the sink in the garage had been installed without benefit of a trap. Mowery was fantastic to work with! In February our furnace decided to heat its last day. Mowery was here in the middle of the night trying to get it back up and running. When that didn’t work, Kody and Alec were quick to get our furnace replaced and our house warm in no time at all. They were so neat and clean you would never know they were here. Fast forward 5 months and our ginormous 75 gallon water heater called it quits. Unfortunately, the builder had squeezed the water heater in with the furnace. Mowery was able to coordinate HVAC (Austin and Alec) and plumber (Matt V) to have ducting removed so the beast of a water heater could be removed/replaced. Those 3 gentlemen manhandled that beast up a flight of stairs and out a door. Matt installed a new tankless water heater in no time at all. Again, one could not tell they had been here because they were so neat and tidy! Thank you Mowery for hiring quality employees that take care of your customers as if they are family. We recently moved into a house with a tankless water heater, and we were unfamiliar with this type of appliance. Jacob B. performed routine maintenance on our tankless water heater in October 2021. Jacob B. did a great job explaining how a tankless water heater works and issues to keep an eye out for that could mean that there are problems with the appliance. While he was performing the tank flush he also took a look at a bathtub faucet that was not working. He was able to perform a temporary repair to get the faucet working until they could get the parts to perform the final repair. I would recommend Mowery to anyone who is new to the area and looking for one company to service a multitude of household appliances.

BOB K. from Mowery did an excellent job fixing a couple of problems with our Carrier furnace today. He went above and beyond in answering all of our questions and explaining everything. He is a fast worker, and with some hard-to-locate problems we were having, he was persistent in finding exactly what was wrong. We called Mowery at 8 am to say we had an issue with our electric hot water heater. We had no hot water and thought for sure we were looking at replacing the unit. At 9:30 our technician, Jason showed up. He was quick to diagnose the issue . It turned out to be the lower heating element had burnt out. Jason told us our unit was 6 years old after a check of the serial number. He recommended fixing the element rather than a new hot water heater. With the fix the unit should last another 4 years. He made the repair and we had hot water again within the hour. I appreciated the timely manner they got to us and fixed the issue. I also appreciated their honesty, since we thought for sure we were looking at a replacement and not a repair. I will call Mowery in the future for all my heating, cooling or plumbing needs.

I may not had used this service yet but plan on using them because of a worker there named Ahmad. I asked him a question about my furnace and he was so extremely nice and detailed. Mowery has been on a long and frustrating journey with us AND I wouldnt have wanted any other company by our side. We have a 120 year old home with wiring that looks like a rats nest, three ac zones and a boiler that does not want to cooperate. Our two techs that came out with supervisor Nick never gave up on us, always treated our concerns with respect and the highest urgency. The ladies that answer the phones are wonderful and make you feel like you are talking to a helpful neighbor. From the initial phone call to coming out right away to communicating every detail, Tyler and his partner were terrific. We had two other quotes that saw us spending upwards of $10,000. Tyler said that may be true but let me get into it before we go saying scary numbers to you. He came back and said it wouldn’t even be 1000. It doesn’t stop there and only gets better. When they got down and dirty, a big piece of equipment failed them. They let us know what was going on and how to go about the next 12 hours and told us they would be back in the morning. This was all good. Then they showed up an hour later saying they were able to fix it on their own and really wanted to get this done. 30 minutes later, done. Mowery is our new plumber of choice going forward.

I contacted Mowery early on Friday morning with a suspected AC issue.The pleasant office staff setup a convenient time for the technician to meet me at my house after work. There was a small mixup on the availability of when I could be home and I initially missed the technician. I called their office and the problem was immediately resolved and another technician was sent shortly later. The technician, Greg, called ahead and notified me of when he would arrive. (thus, i could do other things and NOT tied down to the house). Greg arrived on-time and did a great job. He was very polite, very thorough and did a great job explaining potential causes of my AC issue. After diagnosing the problem, he could have easily put it off until the next day for someone else(it was 9:30pm) but instead he suggested he stay and fix it. He fixed the problem, made sure the unit was working properly, checked for leaks and cleaned up his tools. THAT is customer service!! THAT is how a team works! Well done to the entire staff.

Couldn't be happier with the service we received. Our AC unit died on a Sunday night, Mowery, though extremely busy, got a tech out Monday afternoon and then their salesperson out after 6pm to get things sorted out for us. They got to our house promptly at 8am Thursday that week, as promised, and had everything up and running by about 1pm including fixing some issues from the previous install. As an added bonus, they took an old water heater out of my basement gratis. It was something we couldn't really do easily and they offered to help out. It was raining the day of the install. The first thing they did was lay down floor protectors, which kept everything neat and easy to clean up. Really happy with the new system and the service we received.

Mike P. exhibited professionalism, knowledge, and punctuality in coming to repair a major leak that caused significant damage to our kitchen, bath, and laundry room. He quickly assessed the damage and made the repair as well as assisting with some peripheral damage caused by the restoration crew that immediately preceded his arrival. However, because half of my house is an addition, the sewer system is apparently a nightmare. But Harry kept working diligently to get us cleared. While he was working on it, Rob and Devin showed up to help get us going. The three of them were very personable, knowledgeable, and worked very well together to get our problem fixed. They tried everything they could to get us going but it was getting late so we called it a night. Rob kept reassuring us that they would get it fixed without breaking us. The three of them showed back up in the morning and started right back to work. A short while later, THEY GOT IT!!! The price was minimal and the service was nothing short of amazing.
