Had old heating and cooling system replaced with high efficiency heat pump and furnace. Steve and his crew were great! His Team of installers and electricians were knowledgeable, experienced, and worked hard. Steve was great about keeping us informed of progress and the schedule over the 2 day install. He showed us how to use Nest thermostat and app and was helpful answering all questions. We are very pleased also with the office and rebate staff who are incredibly responsive. We had to completely replace our HVAC system and Beantown was great during every step of the process. The guys who came out to do the job assessment were very knowledgeable and talked us through all of our options. Our project was not easy (walls needed to be taken down and the new unit had to be hoisted up on our roof), but the crew who came out was super professional and were able to get it done a day earlier than they originally quoted! The crew was also really nice and respectful of our home. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The team was able to help me decide on a heating system that worked for my house while treating me with respect. Extremely satisfied with the service that I received from Beantown. During routine heater maintenance by Beantown on Friday at 4pm it was discovered that the burner was emitting an exceptionally high level of carbon monoxide (CO). The level was so high the technician informed me that per Massachusetts codes he was required to shut down the system and tag off the gas line! Even though it was Friday at 4pm Beantown was able to work with me on what new systems were appropriate and available quickly. I was able to pick a system and Beantown was able to schedule me for installing the following Tuesday and Wednesday – which in today’s world of supply chain issues and level of work I think is tremendous. The crew that came out led by Brian McMahon Sr. did a super job with the install, very clean and professional looking. It took pretty much 2 full days to install and at one point Beantown had 7 technicians (Kyle, Brandon, Noelson, Felix, John, Rylee and Brian) at my house doing work. Brian took his time to explain the complete system to me and would not leave until I could demonstrate that I could control the system. I would highly recommend using Beantown HVAC.

I just want everyone to know! I had the mini splits put in by Beantown. They beat the price of another local Company by half they were in they were out they did an amazing job I can't be any happier I'm nice and cool this summer. They just put my mother's gas stove in and she couldn't be any happier she called them this morning and they were out this afternoon and hooked it up. I'm just going to say I would recommend Beantown to anybody I know. They are great.

Brian McMahon and a crew of wonderful young men from Beantown AC worked arduously for three days to install my Mitsubishi Hyper Heat Pump. Brian and his companions arrived promptly each morning and informed me what they were going to do. They politely and patiently listened and answered any questions I had to help me understand what they were doing. They worked well together and always cleaned up after each job assignment. They worked continuously throughout each day pausing briefly for lunch. I was impressed with the team effort they demonstrated to accomplish each task. Service was great from the get go. Started with an estimate that gave us a few different options - good, better, best. Once we put in the order communication was great - let us know status of equipment, etc. As soon as everything was in stock we were notified and installation was scheduled. Beantown has been servicing my furnaces for some time now, I have had nothing but amazing experiences with the techs. Last year during annual maintenance the tech let me know the inducer motor was running hot and beyond the energy bill impact I would likely be facing a service call in the future. This year during my service call Eric let me know we had reached that decision point on the inducer motor. Eric took the time to lay out my options from repair to replacement, and helped me draft up the proposal that fit my house. When Matt and team showed up for the install the team did a great job of making sure we had heat that night even though the complex system required a two day installation (this was known up front). Matt and the team did a super clean installation and took the time to walk me through the features and settings of my system. I wasn't planning on spending the money but at least I wasn't surprised and the team delivered a great service and product.

We selected Beantown AC for the complete installation of a new ductless Mitsubishi mini-split system based on the recommendation of a neighbor. We now see why they were so highly recommended. Beantown installed for my husband and I two new heat pump Heat/AC systems, one on each floor of our home. The whole team of Steve, Rayshawn, Shane, Brian Jr, Felix & Kevin installed the new system. There was a problem with operation at first and the company responded with sending Eric out to us on Sunday in the rain, snow & sleet. He was quit to spot a wiring issue and fixed it, educated us to using the thermostat and helped us to navigate the Nest app. with our cell phones. Electricians also did a repair to the second floor system. Loving the new system and very grateful to this company and their teams of employees.

Flavio gave us a fair estimate, Jack serviced and repaired our boiler when it went out and Jason and Matt replaced our hot water tank. They were professional, talented at what they do, and clean and tidy. The communication has been great. Phones and emails are answered. All around great company. They installed our 2nd floor AC system a few years back and it was seamless, no issues at all. Had to make a call this morning at 8am (Saturday 8/27) over night the system stopped working …after a few minutes with the answering service I got a call from the office that a tech would here between 10-12 and he showed up at 11ish. Turned out that my thermostat was a lemon, tech replaced right away and stayed to make sure the system cycled 2x before he left. I also love their customer service, you get an email confirmation of appointment and text and when the tech is in route you get a text of a picture of him/her and can track their ETA to you, it’s great if I’m not home I can send a picture of the text to my wife so she is aware of who is coming. I opt’d for their annual service program, while not inexpensive, it’s peace of mind and can pay for itself very quickly should you have an issue. Always professional, always in communication and always transparent. Highly recommend.

Beantown changed out a 12 year old water heater for a new one from the same manufacturer. Their two technicians, Ryan and Jay were very professional, skilled, helpful and calm throughout the project. The original exhaust pipes could not be re-used as codes had changed and the two service technicians had to creatively solve this problem. The resolution involved drilling a hole through the concrete4 foundation and exhausting the carbon monoxide into our courtyard. The job certainly took longer than they first anticipated, however, nevertheless Ryan and Jay remained pleasant, professional and upbeat. The price quoted stayed as the final price and the until is working perfectly. Great job.

This review is for two related service calls: i) an emergency to restore heat and ii) the subsequent corrective fix. i) Mike Kestler arrived on schedule and performed an extensive evaluation to determine the cause of the problem and fixed the immediate issue. In the course of his very through evaluation, he removed the fan discovering the primary cause: air flow restriction caused by the heat being run without a filter during construction. Mike was polite, courteous, and explained all the work he performed and the rationale. He also set up the second appointment on-line. [5 Stars] ii) Eric Thompson was likewise on-time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He totally disassembled the lower portion of the furnace and thoroughly cleaned the board, fan assembly and a/c evaporator coil. He also replaced the water drainage tube which was clogged with dust and sawdust causing the drainage pump to run constantly. [5 Stars] Both men provided high quality service in a very professional manner, and the Beantown experience was a quality one in all regards. I especially appreciated electronic notice system, whereby the customer was notified when the service tech was in route, with an estimated arrival time, the tech's current GPS location and the name and a picture of the tech, immediately personalizing the experience.

Mike Kestler of Bean Town A/C came over on time, on Friday night before the Blizzard to fix a leak in our Humidifier for the heating system. There was water on the basement floor. He was professional and experienced. He knew what the problem was and made the effort to repair it by making it better, so that it doesn't happen again. He also found a way to improve the pump tubing to prevent a potential problem with that function. Mike went beyond what I expected and have experienced with other companies. Bean Town A/C was very responsive. They contacted their after-hours service technician and provided a window for his arrival. They notified me when Mike was on his way and he arrived promptly. On a Friday evening before a storm, it was important to have the humidity working. It could have been days before we were plowed out to get the repair done. I strongly recommend Bean Town A/C and Mike Kestler.

Problem solved everything worked fine for the rest of the summer. This year I’ll called them back because my ac was blowing warm air again. They showed up same day and recharged it but, this time is cost $1000.00 and they told me my unit has a leak and is not serviceable they gave me a estimate for 14k to replace it. I went online and found the same mini split unit they quoted me for. I bought it and, installed it myself in half a day for $2400.00.

My gas furnace died over night. I called Beantown in the morning and within an hour then had a technical at my door. Because it was emitting dangerous levels of carbon monoxide the furnace needed to be replaced, Within two hours a team arrived with a new furnace and did an exceptional job of taking out the old furnace and installing a new one. They made sure not to damage carpeting and left as if they had never been here. I recommend them without hesitation.

I cannot recommend the Shane team from Beantown AC enough! They put in a gas furnace and created a two-zone heating system. I was told by another company that the way my furnace was configured, a two-zone system was impossible. Well, they found a way to do it as they said, "our boss says nothing is impossible." My wife noticed a burning smell coming from our gas fired furnace after the heat was off. We called a plumber friend and described the problem. Although he didn’t service hot air systems, after describing the problem, he warned that it might be time for a new furnace. We called that afternoon and spoke to a staff member who schedule a technician to come the next morning. We prepared for the worst, expecting to hear we’d need a new furnace to the tune of $3000-$5000. The gentleman came as planned the next morning and within a few minutes found that it was the water pump. He replaced it on the spot for less than $400 and restored our heat! Have had horrible experiences with contractors in our town (Marshfield) . Couldn't even get a timely quote to install a new mini-split system. That is until we took a chance with Beantown AC . Got a quote within 24 hours after contacting them. They came out and produced a quality quote (not on chick scratch paper) the same day! They also streamlined the process to get the Mass rebate which took less than a week due to their easy guidance. I cant say enough about their team of installers, yes a team! not 1 person but 4. They showed up promptly each day, no surprises, no excuses, just prompt service. Even though they did show up with masks, I asked them respectfully to keep all masks on even in unoccupied rooms due to my wife having a surgery that week. They respected that request 100%. As for their work, they were meticulous with their work and did not cut any corners. They took pride in their work, which you could tell by how precise they were with the joist mounts and how the lines were run, all neatly tucked in. Also fully enjoyed talking to them regarding the install details and how things were going to be done and inter-workings of the HVAC components. Learned a lot from them. We found our HVAC company and will exclusively use them moving forward.

Decided to take advantage of the mass save early replacement program got about ten estimates. Beantown AC was the only company to give me options 3 at that. The owner gave me what I wanted to put heat in a back room that the other contractors say wouldn’t be worth it cause of it being a slab flooring in that room. Every step of the process they made sure things went smoothly. They scheduled the installation a couple of weeks ahead, and things went exactly as scheduled.
