Sam came to my home to give me a quote a few days before I decided to use them for my repairs. He was so kind and understanding of our finances and didn’t try to push anything extra on us. I decided to use Madd Air and immediately text Sam to schedule my appointment and he had the office contact me immediately. Yuritzy at the office called me and was so sweet on the phone getting us scheduled in at the perfect time. When the day came, Sam and his team came to install our new furnace and drain pan, they were so quick and professional. Drop cloths were laid over my floors and stairs for protection and they even swept my stairs and floor before they left. I will forever use Madd air for my repairs!!! Sam, you are the best :)

Complete A/C system replacement – Exceptional work. Sam was professional and provided a clear and straightforward estimate with options, explained the process and there was no pressure to get a unit that was more expensive. He is a very likable guy who quickly responded to my texts and phone calls and answered my many (many) questions. The install was scheduled within a couple of days of me calling to confirm the system that I wanted installed-no waiting! Joseph and the install team arrived on time Saturday morning and the install was completed around 10:30 am. From the start, it was evident that Joseph and the team knew exactly what they were doing and the install team worked almost effortlessly to get the job done. I was extremely impressed with everyone-great group of folks. I highly recommend Madd Air.

My husband and I bought our house in 2021. As of this year, our house had a 20 year old furnace, an 11 year old compressor, and a components from all the years in between. We got a quote from Sam a couple weeks ago for 6 different options and he mentioned that the previous install was not great work. He was very thorough in answering any questions I had, and very pleasant to deal with. After that, he gave us time to mull over the options with no pressure. Our a/c went out this past Sunday evening. I called Madd first thing on Monday, and they were out with a whole new HVAC system first thing today (Tuesday). They showed up at 7:30am and had all the old stuff removed, new stuff in, and all testing done by 11:30! I fully expected most of my day to be interrupted by them working. Sam's crew was fast and courteous. I even had a question shortly after they all left, and Sam was super responsive to a quick text. 10000% recommend these guys to anyone who needs their systems serviced/replaced!

We were so worried about our daughter and her kids because the heating system went out and it’s been below freezing weather..it was 54* in their house..we contacted Madd Air Heating & Cooling and within 2 hours they sent Camilo out who quickly found the issue.. (Zone sensor was bad), he replaced it and the house was already warming up when he left!! He was so kind and professional.. our daughter now has a go to air/heating company that she’ll use for those services.. Two days before Christmas and Madd blessed our family!! Madd Air is an exceptional HVAC company that provides top-notch service and goes above and beyond for their customers. About a decade ago, during a scorching summer night, our A/C unit failed, and we contacted Madd Air for assistance. Charlie, (owner) arrived late in the evening and informed us that the outside unit needed replacement, which he promptly installed the next day. To keep us cool and comfortable during the night, Charlie set up a temporary cooling unit for us. Today, the new unit that Charlie installed continues to function perfectly. More recently, we needed to replace the ductwork in our attic, which had tears and failed in multiple places, causing some areas of the house to be cooler or hotter than others. We also had dead zones that required attention. We contacted Madd Air for help, and the Madd team came to our rescue. They replaced and rerouted all the ductwork, added vents to eliminate the dead zones, and even provided additional storage space in the attic. Charlie personally inspected the work to ensure that it met our expectations. We also opted to add blown-in insulation, which has already made a significant difference in our comfort and energy bills. We highly recommend the Madd Air team for their excellent work, dedication to customer satisfaction and commitment to providing industry leading service.

My boss had recommended this company. I was in need of a A/C and furnace replacement as my A/C was about 13 years old and no longer running efficiently. I had humidity issues and my current unit was struggling to keep the entire house cool. I called Madd and they sent out Sam. He checked out my entire system, gave us a recommendation and a price. Although the cost was more than I wanted to spend, I’m glad I did! I have never been so comfortable, even when my home was brand new! So I called Madd Air based on the excellent reviews. I was not disappointed. Brittany was great by phone and handled the scheduling and Sam came out to do the work. He was awesome. Our heat was out so he took a part from one unit we don’t use much and installed it on the broken unit that we needed to work. He ordered the part that day and showed up the next morning with the new part and had everything up and running. Excellent service from everyone involved. Price for parts and labor were well beyond fair in my opinion given multiple trips. I won’t be calling anyone else to work on my system.

Great service and price on ductwork installation. Joseph from Madd gave me an actual consultation that I really appreciated. He recommended new insulation, and a UV light for cleaner, better air. Here’s the kicker - the price was competitive with another provider that only quoted me for the ductwork, and couldn’t explain why my attic was so dusty - meanwhile, Joseph answered that question on the spot as well as several other questions that I had. These really are folks you can trust, and fair priced!

The gas valve on our heater was stuck so we had no heat on a Friday night. The entire team was beyond nice and made every effort to help us. Camilo spent his Friday night figuring out our problem then was out first thing Saturday to get our heat back. I called several companies to inquire about repairing my heating/air unit. Madd Air was the best price at $60.00 for a home visit. Other companies wanted $102.00 for a diagnostic visit. Sam Sparks was so friendly, courteous as well as on time. Sam was also extremely professional and located the problem in minutes. I admire Sams integrity of fixing my heating issue so promptly. Let me start out that I have been burned by other Hvac companies. With Madd this was not the case at all! Britney the lady that set up the appointment was polite and ready to help. Justin the service tech was early to the appointments. Broke every detail down to me that was going on with my ac unit and took his time to explain other information pertaining to maintenance and future replacement needs. They even had the parts needed for the repair at the warehouse which surprised me since it was an older unit. They were in and out and I was enjoying the cool air in no time. I had an issue with my 25 year old A/C and already had a quote for a replacement from the company that did my pre-summer check-up a few months before. My neighbor had used Madd Air and was very pleased and impressed by their service. I called Madd Air and Justin came out and reviewed our set up and provided 3 different options for replacement. Justin did a great job of explaining everything without pressuring me. The options presented were a better value than the prior quotes I received, so I went with an option that worked for me to replace the A/C and duct work. The install crew was friendly and did a great job, and cleaned up when they were done. The owner came by to inspect the job before the install crew left, and to review and explain the new equipment to me. During the 100+ temperatures here in the Houston area our A/C went out. It was a very old unit and needed to be replaced. We have been with Madd Air for years and love doing business with them. Early last week, I called to schedule a tune up and they were able to come on Friday. Camilo was the tech. He was thorough, answered any questions we had, and was a pleasure to work with. Well , a/c went out in the middle of the night. Saw all the great reviews and thought I'd give MADD A/C a try. I am very skeptical when it comes to consistent high reviews , but something told me to try them I called and set an appt about 0930 in the morning (which was very easy) and Sam was able to come out same day in late afternoon. Sam was nice, professional, and all business. He found the problem and had me back and running in approx 1 1/2 hrs. I'm so glad I called Madd Air! We needed a whole home AC all new everything! I had a quote from another "big" company here in Kingwood and their costs were just astronomical. I had visited with one of the sales reps in the spring about a new Trane air conditioner/heater. In the fall it was time to replace so I wanted to speak with the owner of the company Charlie and we installed a new Trane AC/heater. I was very impressed with Charlie and have been very impressed with the help that we received from Madd Air when our older system needed to have the drain line redone. The pricing for the new air conditioner/heater was very spot on and we were happy with the install and the service. We just had Joseph do our spring maintenance were very happy with him. This company came very highly recommended to us and I am forwarding that recommendation they are a great company to work with. I felt like the other companies that I interviewed with were trying to increase the price too much and I felt like Charlie was very honest with his pricing and not trying to push other products on us.

I had 2 furnaces installed in my attic a couple months ago at a fair price. Their work was professional and they went over and beyond what other companies had even discussed with me about the installs. Madd Air left my attic looking better than when they started. I just had the city inspection on the furnaces and he said everything looked good. In fact, he stated he was unaware of ever having a problem with any of their installs. You may pay slightly more for their work but I found they more than made up for the price difference.

Quick, professional and honest service! My AC wasn’t cooling and my home warranty HVAC company had their phones turned off. The humidity was getting close to 80% and I didn’t want to wait. MADD Air is the best! Super responsive, always arrive in the timeframe given, keep you updated, etc. Our AC unit went out on a weekend, and was a bit of a beast - so we needed a few service calls to get us cooled off through some 95 deg days. They were able to get us scheduled, assess the issue, reach out to the manufacturer to check for warranty, and get our system running ASAP. MADD props to Heather who went out of her way, not only to schedule us, but keep us informed of part ETAs, tech scheduling and timeframes and also an after hours call. She is a rockstar!! It was Sunday around 1p and the inside temperature was 87 degrees. Madd Air was one of the only companies open on Sunday so I called them on a long shot. About 1 hour later Charlie (the owner) was at my house, and within 30 minutes he diagnosed and fixed the problem. Turns out the thermostat was bad (even though it was brand new!). The prior AC company which installed the thermostat owed us a replacement, so Charlie rigged a solution for us using a wire connector, and he didn't even charge us! I never leave reviews but Madd Air went above and beyond. 10/10 would recommend.

After the ice storm, I heard a noise when the heat would come on. So we called Madd Air and they came out within a few hours. I was very impressed with Sam as he was friendly, professional and quickly determined what the issue was. Low and behold it was from the intake vent that I had recently vacuumed which, he politely laughed and said that could cause it to make a noise if it is out of alignment. I have used Madd Air since my first home in Hunter's Ridge, Charlie and his crew installed a new HVAC system and replaced all the duct work. I'm now in a new home and continue to use Madd Air. While away over the weekend I learned my upstairs unit was having some trouble, I was able to troubleshoot most of it, but needed some extra help. I called yesterday afternoon and was given first available slot this morning. Sam showed up, I explained my scenario, we went upstairs to look things over and found I embarrassingly overlooked on very simple thing. Sam gave me a solid fist bump and got back in his truck. I contacted Madd Air as a second opinion for my underperforming air conditioner. These guys definitely know what they are doing. The technician appeared to be thorough in his investigation and confident in his diagnosis. He showed me exactly where a leak was with the electronic refrigerant sniffer. It's nice to see techs with the right tools and best practices. I felt comfortable enough with their expertise that I asked them to replace the coil in the attic and they were able to schedule the work a few days later. That kind of thing takes a significant effort and the team that installed it seemed well-organized and efficient. The final product looks like they built it for long-term value and that's exactly what I was hoping for. It looks like they even fixed some shortcuts the original builder's contractor may have taken when the house was first built. The air conditioner has worked flawlessly so far (one month). If I have any updates about my experience I will try to remember to update this review. One note: I emailed first, but when I did not get a response I called on the phone and they were very pleasant and helpful. I think Madd Air hold themselves to a high standard and I appreciate that as a customer. I will continue to call them for any future needs.

Our experience with Madd Air Heating & Cooling was nothing short of exceptional. Our AC decided August was a good time to stop working. After having two different HVAC companies out – including one sent by our home warranty company – we decided to give Madd a call based on their close proximity to our home and strong reviews/ratings. Justin was scheduled to be at our house between 9am and 11am. By 8:30am he had called to confirm and was on his way. Within 30 minutes of him inspecting our AC units he identified issues that neither of the previous companies mentioned, he showed me and explained what each issue meant for our system. Justin was able to get both units running and our (very hot) house cooled down before leaving. It was determined one unit should be replaced and Justin presented and explained my options clearly. Today Justin and the install team returned for the install, like the first visit Justin called and informed me they were headed my way and were right on time. The whole crew was quick and polite, since I work from home this was highly appreciated. We are looking forward to the improved efficiency in our home and working with Madd for any future HVAC needs.

Madd Air is the best. Recently experienced a problem with my furnace over the weekend (of course). Charlie and his crew happen to be installing a system down the street for a neighbor. I called to see if there was any way someone could make an unscheduled service call while they were in the area. Within minutes Charlie was knocking on my door and happy to help. The problem was quickly diagnosed and solved. While servicing the furnace, I mentioned another potential issue with the air conditioner drain I had experienced a few weeks before. I lost A/C in early July when it was starting to get really hot. We called Madd Air and they made an appt to come out the same day. Our homes original A/C was not repairable anymore (dead after 17yrs of use). Note, we had service just about every other year on the unit while we have lived here and the past few years they said its not going to make it much longer so it was not that big of a surprise for us. Madd provided a quote the same day the unit went out, and installed a new one the very next day. Sam, Charlie, and Heather were very professional. We did have a hiccup in the install where the unit was not sized correctly which could have been disastrous for many A/C companies. I called Madd Air, Charlie came back out, reassessed, and I had a replacement unit installed the next day. I was really only out of A/C for a day. The first unit was just a 1/2 ton to small but was able to keep our home around 75° - 77° when it was very hot so we were by no means in terrible shape until we got the bigger unit installed. Yesterday I had an annual furnace repair with Universal Home Experts. The technician found the blower fan was leaking oil and recommended replacing it. The fan motor was under warranty but he gave me the labor cost of $975. Whoa, that seemed high. I looked for a second opinion. Madd Air Heating and Cooling had good reviews and was local to Kingwood, TX. I called and quickly was quoted $325. They were able to do the install the following day. Unfortunately Camillo discovered a previous repair person had stripped out 2 of the 3 screws securing the fan motor to the metal housing. He was able to take it to their shop to fix the stripped out bolts. This took twice as much time as originally anticipated but they only charged me their original price quote. They won me as a regular client today!

Brittany was very pleasant & professional to deal with over the phone. She informed us not only about the appointment window, but mentioned the $45 diagnostic fee (for the first 30 minutes) would go towards the repair if we choose to select MADD. Our technician Sam was prompt (arrived during the first half of the appointment window) polite & professional. He called 10 minutes before he came over and was prepared (wearing booties & a mask as we greeted him). After hearing our concerns, he was able to troubleshoot the problem in about 30-45 minutes. He even had the part in his truck so he was able to replace our Honeywell HZ322 TrueZone Circuit Board within 45 minutes of diagnosing it. 90 minutes later and for 35% of the cost of my last quote (NBL AC & Heating wanted $1,200 for the same work & Big-Tex was about the same price as MADD). Both Sam & Brittany followed up later that same evening to help explain how the warranty worked even though MADD wasn’t the company that installed the first system (Big-Tex who I find I unknowledgeable, hard to deal with & someone who is just trying to “nickel & dime” you). Whenever we contact them they always get back to us within a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing HVAC repair & maintenance in the Humble/Kingwood/New Caney area.

We had to replace our 5 ton, 3-phase system because it wasn't cooling - I called a large major company who has commercials on TV and they sent someone out who gave me an outrageous VERBAL quote (not even a written quote) and even offered free financing (on the exorbitant price). We also had a cheaper quote as well from another company. I saw one of the MADD trucks in Kingwood one day and decided to call them for my third quote. Charlie came out and looked at everything and then sat down and went over his quote with us - explained it all and answered our questions. He gave us a written quote, descriptions of maintenance plans, and other info in a nice, professional folder so we could review. I had a couple more questions later on which he answered as well. So even though we already had a cheaper quote we just felt MADD was going to do a better job and THEY DID! Charlie, Sam and their team showed up early on Saturday; got everything installed and working by early afternoon so I still had the rest of the day to myself. Heather and Brittany in their office are also great; when they say they will call you back - they really do. As a business owner myself I can't say enough great things about MADD Air, I trust Charlie Enriquez and think he is one of the most honest and dedicated owners around. Called to get options for AC since ours was not keeping up well on 100+ days. Justin came out and put gauges on a 20+ year old unit before even talking about replacing the system. Pressures were fairly normal but just wasn't keeping up. We ended up getting 3 possible unit quotes for replacement. When we decided on equipment and payment, Heather had us scheduled quickly. It's August in Houston and it's hot. All of the sudden, I noticed the AC wasn't cooling as expected. I checked a few things and realized I needed to call someone out sooner than later to get it fixed. I submitted the form on their website and got a call back quickly. I spoke to Heather and she asked what was happening and she took down my information. She noticed I lived in Kingwood and asked if I had recently had a power surge or loss of power. I did and when I told her that, she informed me that they had recently had 10-15 calls from different people in the same area and that I should turn the system off for an hour and then turn it back on to see if that would reset the system. Just in case, she went ahead and booked an appointment for me and simply asked that if the trick worked to please call back and cancel. The trick worked and the AC started working as expected. I'm leaving this review because this was a great experience. Heather could have easily just took the appointment and not bother with helping but instead she did the right thing and tried to help even though it would have cost them the business. Doing the right thing for the customer is what I expect from a company and Madd Air just proved they put the customer first. They are now my go-to for AC service. Thanks Heather and Madd Air!

Used Madd Air for the first time today and they will be called for all future A/C repair needs. Their technician, Justin I. was an excellent representative for this company. On time, very professional, knowledgeable, and quite personable. He explained the work he was doing and offered tips on ways to get the most from our older a/c system. A true gentleman, he was very respectful of us and our property. And, as the proverbial "icing on the cake", the cost of the repairs was very reasonable.

A year ago Madd Air came and fixed several issues with my ten year old A/C unit that was installed by a different company. They explained that it should be still under warranty, looked it up, did the repairs and only charged me for labor. Just this week, my unit was blowing hot air. it was now out of warranty, so I thought it would be a costly repair. In addition, it was closing time for most A/C companies, so I figured we would have to endure a hot humid night until someone could look at it in the morning. The Owner Charlie, came over within an hour and soon realized the breaker was off. He turned it back on and did a thorough inspection to make sure nothing else was wrong and had it back running smoothly. I'm sure many companies would have up-charged for coming out late at the last minute, and some others might of even said that something else was wrong to make an extra buck. Madd Air doesn't do that. They have old fashion values of professionalism with honesty and integrity. It's just hard to find that in today's society

These guys were great. Our air conditioner had stopped blowing cold air, they worked with me to come out when my weird schedule demanded, and quickly fixed the problem. Then, a few weeks later, we were having what seemed like the same problem. I was feeling a little irritated, like maybe I’d been taken for a ride, but they came out and looked at it, and found that all it was was that the breaker had been tripped, nothing else was wrong. I totally should have checked that before calling them out, but didn’t consider it. The technician didn’t even charge me for that second trip out to our house. Our Air Conditioner was not cooling and it happened to be Memorial Day. We felt that given the holiday we wouldn't be able to have anyone out to service it until the next business day. Madd Air installed our new blower over a year ago and we were really impressed with their service and their business ethic so we decided to call them to look at our conditioning unit. We figured if we called Madd Air on Memorial Day, we could get in line for them to come out on the next day. Not only did they come out within the hour that we called on Memorial Day, they diagnosed and fixed the problem within 15 minutes. Our house was cool again within the hour. Also, our Air Conditioner is under warranty, so Madd Air is willing to work with us and did not even bother to collect payment at the time of servicing. We feel confident with Madd Air, and the fact that they operate in our community makes me feel they won't take advantage or try to gouge us with their prices. if you need a good AC company (or heating) please give them a try.

We are one of the typical Kingwood families that have the fortune of owing an upstairs and a downstairs AC system. Last year the upstairs system seemed to be having issues cooling. I called Madd Air; they dispatched a Mr. Sam Sparks to look at the system. He looked everything over, found the pressures were correct, but due to the age, system efficiency was not where it should have been. He stated we would need a new system, but this should last for a while. There was no pressure on us to purchase anything at that time. Well this July, my system decided it was time to retire. I called Sam, he looked at what we had and forwarded his recommendations. The new system installation was very professional, and well done. We did end up having to replace some of the duct work (mold issues!) but no real surprises on the installation. I can highly recommend Sam and his team.

Highly recommend. They replaced my A/C and furnace last summer. I did a lot of research and their prices were very reasonable. After I gave them the go ahead, they came and replaced the whole unit the next day. Installation is one thing, but it's the continued customer service that really counts. I had an issue and called around 6pm on a Saturday. I wasn't in much of a hurry and expected to have to wait until Monday. They had a tech come out within the hour. The technician knew what he was doing, identified the problem with our system very quickly, and was very reasonable with his charge and even provided helpful advice to avoid needing to pay for repairs in the future. I called Madd Air for a second opinion, and Charlie said that was a bunch of BS. He kept those units running for 5 years! He came out on the weekend to fix them when they needed small repairs, and a couple times he diagnosed them over the phone and told me what to do to get them running again. We have American Home Shield, and when their contractor could not manage to be helpful or even nice, we decided to get recommendations from friends, and just pay out of pocket completely. We had to replace both units and all ducting, but with how rude the other company was, I wasn’t about to do that much out of pocket business through them. We had recently listed our house for sale on the market and as luck would have it, a week later and just as the temperature was starting to get hot.....our upstairs AC stops blowing air. We panicked thinking this is just our luck and it will probably cost a fortune and take forever to get fixed. He called me often to keep me posted with the status of my part, when he would be coming out, etc. His work and attention to detail were perfect! He explained everything he was doing, how my unit worked, how the parts worked, and even gave me some tips for the future to keep my unit working well. I called Madd Air for a second opinion when I didn't feel comfortable with the information I got from a larger, well-known company. It was a Saturday, and the owner himself came out within two hours of my call. He was friendly, professional, quick, and gave us the same diagnosis as the first company. His solution, however, was more directly laid out (not "You could do this or this....", but "This is what needs to be done.") and was half the price of the larger company. He and his guys came back on Monday and got it done at the time they said they would and with no mess left behind. I will use them again for sure. Happy customer.

Sam and Charlie did a great job in identifying the problems with our humidity and made reasonable recommendations. Prior to starting that job, our AC quit working. I called Madd Air to get a second opinion on my problem with my A/C. I spoke to Heather on the phone and she was very courteous and listen to my long explanation patiently. My usual company came out yesterday and explained I had a blockage some where and needed to replace my inside and outside unit. In addition I would need to move the location of my access panel to my livingroom wall. A lot of time and money. I'm on the last stretch of finishing a Harvey remodel and didn't wan't to stop, open my living wall up and spend thousands of more dollars. So I called Madd Air due to the excellent reviews I read to see if they could fix it without replacing it. They came out an hour later. Although Sam confirmed I would need a new unit(including relocating the access panel) in the near future, he took the time to investigate a possible solution to give me more time before replacing. He found there was no blockage but, the trainee, that my other company, allowed to add refrigerant to my unit 3 months ago, over filled the system. He merely released some refrigerant out and the system is working. Although I will need to replace the unit e eventually, Sam saved me a ton of time and money at a crucial time. He was very professional and explained the details of the problem clearly so I understood my situation and what to watch for moving forward. I will be using Sam for all my HVAC needs in the future and highly recommend Madd Air. Thank you for such a positive service experience.

Once again, Madd Air proves why they are our "GO TO" when it comes to ANY H/VAC need that we have. Just a few weeks on a Friday night, our very old first floor air conditioner stopped working late in the evening. SInce Madd Air installed a new upstairs system for us a few years ago and had provided such a professional experience, I called them at 8:30 pm that night; my plan was to leave a voicemail message, suffer through the weekend, and hopefully get on their schedule for Monday morning. I left a voicemail and was surprised when my phone rang at 8:35 pm; Mrs. Enriquez was responding to our voicemail and scheduled us for their first available opening on Saturday. As always, Justin called 20 minutes prior to arrival to let us know he was on his way. He diagnosed a burned out blower in our very old furnace unit and promptly replaced it. We were extremely happy, and comfortable, for the rest of the day. Late Saturday night, we noticed we were having issues again. The issues weren't related to the blower repair, but something wasn't working and we were toasty again. Charlie Enriquez, the owner of Madd Air, came by on Sunday morning to find out what the issue was. He conducted a thorough inspection and pointed out that, coincidentally, our thermostat was down. He offered several solutions for "the fix" and had our unit up and running within a few minutes.We have become loyal, happy customers of Madd Air; they earned our business because they are honest, professional, and they stand behind their work. When I replace my ancient furnace this year, I only need to make one phone call to get it done and I will not need to worry about being treated fairly. If you need H/VAC services call Madd Air; you will not regret it!

If you can't trust your neighbor, who can you trust. Charlie from Madd Air has been my AC guy since I moved into my neighborhood. Well, almost. Actually the first time I had an AC problem I called a well known company to come out. While they were fixing the problem, my doorbell rang. Charlie introduced himself and told me if I had an AC problem in the future, he was just up the street. He also informed me that he had heard a lot of complaints about the well known company I had hired. They were charging me over $200 for a part they were replacing, so I checked online. I found the same part, same brand, for under $20. Charlie has been my AC guy ever since. The one time he had to do major work for me, what he charged me more than fair. I called other companies after the fact to see what they would have charged. My AC now keeps my house cooled to the temperature I set it on during the summer. **Update** Madd Air does roofing! Yeah, I was surprised too, but it’s a new service that they offer, and given the great service they’ve always provided for our HVAC, I decided to give them a try on reroofing our patio cover. They not only had to replace the roof, but had to essentially rebuild the structure, as well, and install new rain gutters. They even had to correct some problems caused by a previous gutter installer. True to their past performance, Charlie and his team did a stellar job, quickly and professionally, cleaned up after themselves, and left us happy campers. I don’t think I’ve ever recommended and “HVAC company” to do someone’s roof, but I will now! ———————————— Madd Air rocks! Locally owned, and Charlie (the owner) is always ready to answer questions. They replaced our heater and our (40 year old) ducts last fall. Charlie recommended and I agreed to installation of a UV/titanium system to reduce allergens, and man did it work! I no longer get congested when I come in my house. They just did the spring check of our AC, and updated programming of our thermostat. Honest people who do great work at great prices. You can’t beat it.

These guys are first class!! Been meaning to write this review since July, 2018 when they replaced my evaporated coil. Justin gave me options with no hard-sell on replacing the entire system vs just the coil (our system is now 13yrs old), very reasonable pricing (I got 3 bids). They re-routed some of my duct work to get more air flow to rooms that needed it...and they came back 5 or so days after (at no cost) to fine tune the air flow where needed. I HAD to write this review today, because the morning of THE 4TH OF JULY, the blower failed in the primary component. I called the MADD AIR main number, and spoke to a PERSON. She called Charlie (the owner), and he called me within 30 minutes...on a holiday! He again walked me through the options, and said he'd be there tomorrow, July 5th to fix it...and he did. The cost to replace the component or to replace the part (the blower) were miles apart. These guys are honest, punctual, very reasonable on price, and they do what they say they're going to do! I would recommend Madd Air to everyone! My husband works out of town a lot so when he is gone it is like I am a single mom. Our A/C went out and it is very stressful having 2 little children in extremely hot weather with no A/C. I hate dealing with getting things fixed on the house because I always feel like businesses try to take advantage of women. The A/C went out on a Saturday and I started calling around to see who could come fix it. All the other places I called said they either couldn't come out until late in the afternoon or they were closed. Charlie with Madd Air was at our house in 15 minutes. He was professional from the moment he showed up wearing show covers to protect our carpet from getting dirty. He went up in the attic and fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. It was faulty wiring caused by the people that installed the system in our house. Charlie didn't charge us for anything and said to call back when we had a real problem. Here I was thinking I was going to have to pay $150 for a weekend visit because that was what all the other companies had quoted. It was such a relief finding an A/C company I feel I can trust who is not just trying to get the most money possible out of you. They are also open 24/7 and he said that if we ever need anything fixed in the middle of the night he can be there in 10 minutes. Like finding a good, local auto mechanic, finding a reliable HVAC contractor is a challenge. After reading reviews and in frustration with the parade of technicians my home warranty company was sending, I contacted Charlie at Madd Air. Bottom line, instead of the thousands suggested to repair my problem by those techs, Charlie replaced a component for $300 and got my old A/Cs working for a little while longer. When I later was in the market for replacement of my home's entire HVAC systems, Charlie got the call and did a fantastic job for a fair price (beating out a buddy of mine I also got a bid from). Madd Air is a great local company and Charlie is about as customer-service oriented as any guy I've worked with. I highly recommend them to my Kingwood neighbors. I also write this review to expound on the multiple "One Star" comments you may see below. Madd Air responded so you can see the background on why Daniel Hartman did his review (and enlisted the aid of 13 friends who had no interaction whatsoever with Madd Air to do the same). This is classic business disparagement - premised on the idea that Madd Air would not hire Mr. Hartman to work in its customers' homes. The fact that Madd Air refused to hire Mr. Hartman and the latter's subsequent campaign against Madd Air is a perfect reflection of the character of Madd Air and Mr. Hartman. I hope Mr. Hartman will "man up" and remove his baseless comments and "One Star" ratings (as well as get with his co-conspirators to do the same). Aside from Mr. Hartman further damaging his own reputation in the HVAC community by this stunt (note all the reviews were 2 weeks ago), there are consequences in Texas for going after someone's business just because you have a baseless ax to grind and didn't get hired.

Upon returning from vacation, we discovered our upstairs A/C was not working. We had an existing 15 year relationship with another local H/VAC company, and we immediately called them to troubleshoot our system. We were told that we needed to replace the entire outside unit and the furnace; we were facing a substantial investment. After receiving a quote from our long-time vendor, we decided to consult with another company. I called MADD AIR based on a recommendation from my coworker; she had just purchased a system from MADD AIR and couldn't recommend them enough. MADD AIR presented us with a wide range of choices vs. our existing contractor and they were aggressive in earning our business. Because we shopped around, we were certain that they gave us an honest/fair quote. 3. They committed to getting the installation done in one day. On the day of our installation the owner of MADD AIR, Charlie Enriquez, and Justin Inglis, our sales consultant, arrived on time and surveyed the installation together. Everything was completed as promised and when they were finished, you could not even tell that they had been in our house. Charlie returned the next day (Saturday) to walk us through our new system and explain it in detail. He spent considerable time with us and answered all of our questions. The bottom line on MADD AIR: They do business the "Old School" way. They look you in the eye, they tell you the truth, they do what they say they are going to do, and they do it at a fair price. I am very satisfied with the service provided by Madd Air. I called early one morning when I noticed a drip coming from the AC pan drain line outside and they were able to schedule me the same day. The owners wife answers the phones and schedules the appointments, and the owner himself came to the house to do the work. He was able to identify the problem within minutes, and resolve it just as fast. Not only did he fix the problem, he explained to me the cause of the problem (clogged drain line) and how to prevent it in the future. After he fixed the problem he gave my old unit a thorough check to make sure there wasn't going to be any more unexpected problems. Not only do they that type of maintenance he also offers a twice a year check up where they come and check the AC & furnace. This is a great plan for me because thats something I would always forget to do. All-in-all I am a very satisfied and will definitely recommend them to my friends and family. It's very nice to see some one go above and beyond for a customer and provide excellent service.

First, I must say that I am very cautious about who I allow to work on projects in my house. Most repairs I do myself. When I first met Charlie he came to my house to prepare a bid on replacing my 20 year old HVAC system. After taking the time to thoroughly discuss all the things he recommended to be done, he gave me a bid. His bid was lower than the others I received and included many extras which were not included in other bids (including extensive duct work replacement). From that initial meeting with Charlie through the completion of the job, I found the Madd Air team to be very professional, responding quickly to any request I had, without cost additions. Roof Repair. I had a leak around a vent on the the roof. It had been leaking a long time according to Charlie with Madd Air. He showed me proof in the attic space where the slow leak had cause rotting wood that caused the leak we discovered coming through our bedroom ceiling after a heavy rain. The work was started within 2 hours. Charlie found a few other " spots" on the roof that would be a problem later and took care of them also. The quote was reasonable, his demeanor was professional, showing sincere empathy, and dispassionate communication. This is the guy to call.

I went down the list of AC companies that listed in a google search. No one answered except the guys at Madd Air. Within moments they were at my house and had the AC back on and for much less than what I had anticipated. I cannot recommend MADD Air highly enough. To describe them in one word, that word would be HONEST!!! I called them because I was referred by a friend who told me they had just done work for his father-in-law and when they could have sold him a complete outdoor compressor unit, the tech noticed a wire was burned and simply replaced the wire. This is the caliber of the folks this company sends out. Today my outside unit was making a loud howling noise that I knew needed immediate attention. I turned the system off and called MADD about 9am. The receptionist told me she could have someone out by 2pm and asked if that was ok. About noon, Sam called me and said he was available to come sooner. When he arrived he looked at the unit and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He even told me that my unit may still be under the manufacturers warranty and this might be covered. He called Trane for me and gave them my serial number but alas, mine was out of warranty. He gave me the price, which I thought was fair and proceeded to repair the unit. He also checked my freon, the capacitor, and the upstairs unit while he was there. He found a small clog in my main drain pan and unclogged it, certainly preventing me from a water damaged ceiling later on. What's more important.... HE DID NOT CHARGE ME EXTRA FOR ANY OF THIS. Let me be perfectly clear, these people are honest and hard working. They clearly demonstrated they wanted my prolonged business rather than just my money today, and that is very rare indeed in todays society. As I said before, I cannot recommend them highly enough nor endorse Sam for his professionalism and hard work. He truly did put this customer first and I can guarantee that MADD Air will be the ONLY A/C company I use or recommend in the future. Thank you!

Well let me start by saying I don't think I've ever written a review before... Madd Air keep doing what y'all do, and if u don't like novels don't click "Read more" lol. Didn't do any research at all just remembered seeing a Madd Air service truck in Humble one day. Then about a week later I drove by their shop and realized they were by my house in Porter. I am a commercial laundry service tech and do most of my service stuff in house, freon isnt on that list. Well about a week ago a neighbors tree fell and hit my condenser unit outside and immediately I knew who to call. Long story short the good Lord must have guided my path. Heather is a dream, and Charlie, well he's the man. They came out on a Wed, had a quote to me by end of day, and then when I accepted the quote on a Friday he had a crew out on Saturday!! Afterwards I got some quotes and realized Charlie beat every1 by $500-$1500. I had the entire condenser and the inside coil replaced due to R22... So far I couldn't happier! Bringing y'all some business has become a priority! Thanks for everything! U guys r REALLY GOOD! now that I'm doing the research I'm thanking the Lord!

We have two systems in our house. The upstairs unit failed and with the summer heat we had to replace fast. After getting three other quotes with the "Kingwood" premium we got one from Madd. They offered us a great unit (Trane) for a very reasonable price. Then they came and did a great job of installation. They did more than just install a condensing unit and evap coil. They looked at our ductwork and installed new dampers to balance the airflow. I was so pleased I had them replace the other working but inefficient 15 year old unit. Same great work. Thanks Charles!

I have never written a review before but after todays experience I just knew I had to. Maddair was the most professional and friendly company I have ever dealt with. Charlie came to look at my 21 year old AC because I was having problems with the fan not turning on and I also wanted to talk prices about upgrading my system. My hopes was to just make it through this last summer and with my next tax return use that money to replace it. Turns out it was a simple fix of a bad capacitor he fixed it up in a few mins. We talked different prices and I could tell he was not ripping me off because the prices he quoted me were $3000 LESS then what Goode Air quoted me for the exact same thing!!!!! Called Madd Air Heating and Cooling because our heater stopped blowing warm air this morning. Gave me arrival time between 1 and 3. In the meantime I turned unit off, waited, and turned it back in. That seemed to do the trick. However I still wanted the guys to come check it out. The arrived within the given timeframe. They called when they were about 15 minutes out. When they got here, they checked everything. They measured temp coming out of vents, checked the unit, checked breakers, and checked filter. Could not find anything wrong. My unit is fairly old. I used to work for another local AC company, and by way of that association I got to know several other AC companies. None of which I would ever allow back into my home. Then I found Madd. WOW - look at the well deserved stars. Although last spring another company installed a new condenser and furnace, when I kicked on the furnace for the first time it didn't come on. Jonathan was here in no time and within a couple of minutes found 3 dead wasp in my furnace. Once removed, the unit worked great. Thank you Jonathan and Madd.

I don't write reviews very often. If I do write a review, it was because I received either terrible service or outstanding service. This was definitely outstanding service. Our A/C system was 15 years old, and not really worth repairing so we were going with a whole new system (inside and out). In the 6+ years we've owned this house, I've never paid anyone to do anything because I want it done right and it’s hard to find good service. I fix everything myself. But the A/C was my brick wall. I don't take this type of job lightly, and am extremely picky about who I will hire. I had 4 local companies come out and give me quotes. Sure, I was price shopping, but not as much as I wanted to find someone I was comfortable with. I would suggest that everyone get a few estimates. It's easy to weed out the snakes. Charlie just happened to not only seem the most trustworthy, but he actually was the cheapest too. By the time I chose Madd Air over the other companies, it was almost 7pm, so obviously it was too late to get it done that night. But Charlie offered to bring us a portable AC unit, that night, so we could sleep in our house. I wasn't at home, but he brought it over and hooked it up for my wife. It was great, ice cold bedroom when I got home. Like other reviews said, he wears the little booties so your floor won't get messed up. His crew put drop cloths down through my house, so they didn't mess up our wood floors. They replaced our entire A/C system in what must be record time, but more importantly they did a good job of it. They cleaned up after themselves, and even swept the floor. I was surprised when they showed me the work they did in the attic; they did a lot of stuff I wasn't expecting, things with the ductwork, sealing the old furnace unit, float kill switch in drain pan, and they put in a new programmable thermostat. And no, none of that showed up on the bill unexpectedly. I guess that’s just his modus operandi. This type of service is hard to find. The very least I can do, is write this review. I haven’t written anything this long since college!

I am super impressed with the service I recieved. I called during a very difficult time with all the flooding that has happened. I did not flood but my a/c wasn't cooling. I called and she worked me into the schedule even though they were closing. The guy was close so he showed up within 20 minutes (I was given a 2 and a half hour window). He worked very quickly and was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to get me cooling again within just a few minutes. I am so thankful that he came and helped me so quickly when they are so busy with flood victims. We are and will continue to be repeat customers!

Memorial weekend A/C crashed and burned (literally) called them out at 11:02, the owner Charles is knocking on my door by 11:20. Replaced multiple parts and rewired everything you can imagine back up and running with in and hour or so. Can't explain the service better then just amazing! Charlie and his team are the real deal. Straight-forward and honest which we appreciate. We had Madd Air redo the ductwork of our older 2-story home with one AC unit. Prior to their work, the upstairs was always 10-15 degrees warmer than the first floor. Charlie let me know that it was a result of impromper routing of the ductwork of the second floor (done in the 80's). After they completed their work, the second floor is much more comfortable and the temperature is much more inlign with that of the first floor. We appreciate the work they performed and that they go above and beyond to help out with little things that tend to pop-up.
