John made an extra effort to ensure that I was fully satisfied. I like the fact that they will do a quality followup inspection to make sure everything was installed as it should and is operating correctly. Very professional. All Star was extremely fast in getting get my AC back up and running. Very impressed with the company from top-down. I cannot say enough good things about the tech that came out, Brayan. He was extremely knowledgeable, and walked me through the ins and outs of the entire system, and where the potential problem could be coming from. Probably the most knowledgeable, straight-shooter technicians that I have had work on an appliance of mine. Quickly diagnosed the problem while helping me understand everything he was doing, had the system back up and running, and performed various system efficiency checks, all in less than 90 minutes of being at my home. Would have been even faster if I hadn't asked so many questions. 5 stars!

We had a heat outage during the freeze right as our guests were coming into town for Christmas. All Star answered our call right away (others had us on hold for an hour or didn't call back) and came early on the same day as our request (others weren't available for days). They fixed our issue quickly with a reasonable service fee and good advice moving forward. Will use them again!

The service was amazing. Response time to my inquiry was within 10 minutes, and they had a technician at my house the same day. We had previous work done on our house and the workers wired our thermostat incorrectly causing our heat not to work. Bryan noticed that right away, had it corrected in a matter of minutes and our heat was working again. All told the issue was fixed for only $99. I would absolutely recommend All Star to anyone having issues with their heating or AC.

I needed a lot of the hard ductwork fabricated for a new air filter system and all new flexible ductwork to my vents installed in my system. The team leader spent a just a few minutes in my attic and came back down to ground level. He proceeded to fabricate the entire system from memory. He never used a straight edge or a ruler and everything fit perfectly. Watching him was a show. This was definitely not his first rodeo! The whole team worked well together. They completed the job in about 7 hours. They did an excellent job.

Great experience with All Star. We had a failed evaporator coil on our unit that is only a few years old. They made sure the part needed was covered under warranty and repairs were made as soon as possible. They don’t take payment until a follow up visit to ensure the install meets standard and everything is working properly. Everyone I interacted with was very professional and took pride in their work. Having A/C problems is never fun and I’m pleased that I found a reputable company. Will use again!

This company gives such great customer service, which seems harder to find these days. Tristan came out on Monday to do an air duct inspection to see if we needed to clean our ducts and vents. He did a great job and gave great insight to us especially since we are first time homeowners as well as new to having tile floors. The second time he came out was to figure out why our ac wasn't working, we thought maybe it might have something to do with him coming out the first time. Fortunately, it was not related to that at all and it was a popped fuse. He replaced the fuse and gave great service!! I will definitely call them again if we need any HVAC service.

This company is amazing ! They have always come out the same day every time I need service and repaired my system quickly and efficiently. I quickly received a call from Ann in the office and she had me set up with an appointment ASAP, even though I am fairly far from their office. Not only that, but they ended up coming way earlier than promised to get me cooling off as quick as possible.. Today one of the owners came himself (Chris, I think?) to do my same day repair and had my unit up and running in no time, as well as giving me tips for future maintenance that I could do myself easily. It is so rare nowadays to find a company to trust to service any of your items, especially in the HVAC business, but this company has been 100 percent trustworthy from Day one, as well as being very knowledgeable about their products and services. I highly HIGHLY recommend this establishment. Please do not use anybody else. These guys are the absolute BEST !!!!!

We have used All Star A/C in the past and keep coming back because from start to finish the service is great. The receptionist was friendly, and called back after an accidental disconnect which was appreciated. There was a quick turnaround time between when I called and the appointment date. The technician was on time, knowledgeable, respectful, and worked clean. He checked the unit, the air filters, the dampers, and the thermostat, diagnosed the problem, and offered multiple repair and replace options. He was patient in explaining the situation and answering all questions, and remembered our home and unit history from previous visits. All Star A/C, and Brian specifically, are highly recommended. Our appointment window was 8-10 AM, we got an "on the way" text message at 8:40, and the ETA of 30 minutes was accurate. All around very happy with the quality - hopefully our unit lasts a long time, but we appreciate the recommendation of a great replacement brand/model for when the time comes.

Update as of 7/23/19- This is not really the truck you want to see in your driveway but Once again this company does it again for us in a pinch after hours!!! Today we got home and the house was 81. I called and within 5-10 minutes Chris, one of the owners called to come see what our issue was! He fixed our problems and we are thankful it's cool again! All Star Air Conditioning is an awesome family run and local small business. The owners themselves follow up and check out all work completed by their employees before they expect any customer to make a payment. If the job wasn't done to their 100% liking then they do not expect a payment until it's correct. All of the employees I've met have been very efficient and personable and have done the job correctly the first time. I have already referred the company out multiple times and each customer has been pleased with the prompt assistance and with our lovely Houston/Cypress weather we need that. Very professional and really care about the customer. I originally contacted them about duct cleaning because I was preparing to replace a 20 year old system with another company. Trenton asked in detail about my project, what system the other company was putting in, etc. He spent about 3 hours on the phone with me letting me pick his brain and him sharing his years of experience to help provide information about what I would really need based on what I was hoping to accomplish. He did this without any hesitation to help me to know and understand all the ins and outs. This was all before I made the decision of hiring them to do any work. He also informed me about some trouble with the system I was considering putting in which I was unaware of. I consulted my dad who previously had his AC and Heating license about all that I was told and he agreed with everything Trenton shared with me. I decided to get a quote from All Star for the new system. I was pleased with the value and estimate provided by such a professional company and moved forward having my new system put in this last Friday. Very nice people and did a great job! Very pleasant company to work with, everyone seems very knowledgeable, informative and nice! 10/26/22 had them out to install another return air in a bedroom to improve air circulation. Apparently i did not push post back in June!!! Today’s experience to follow I can not express how grateful i am with All Star from Trent Mr. Ed and i believe Mrs. Ann who answers the phone and get their customers scheduled and help find financing. They helped me the last two years with my AC issues. They took the time to listen to my concerns but to also let me know what they recommend to fix first and what to wait on. They replaced my inside unit and they replaced my ducts and installed a French drain so water from the inside unit would go outside and not in! The crew that came out for installation was professional. I will continue to use them for all my Ac and heating needs because as a new home owner they made something so stressful and scary for me the best process and experience i have ever had!!! Our ac condenser stopped working. The company we have been using for many years told us they could not come out until next Monday (four days-it was Wednesday am when I called). I went online and found All Star A/C and Heating. They had many positive reviews. They were able to come out that afternoon. The technician, Trenton was professional and knowledgeable. David, Chris and their crew installed a complete New HVAC and Ducts in my 1979 constructed house. The old unit was mfgd. in 1998 and was barely clinging to life. Not only did they install a new RUDD 16 Seer 3 ton AC, they were able to relocate it from the closet, to the attic. This new unit is not only quieter, it blows so much colder. The dreaded wake up to no AC saga. On a Saturday morning we woke up to no AC in our two year old home with a Lennox installed AC system. After 24 hours of calling around and trying to get a reputable company to help us after waking up to no AC on a Saturday morning, we stumbled across All Star AC and Heating. They responded to our message within an hour on a Sunday morning and had someone out by Sunday afternoon. Their tech "TG" spent hours with us diagnosing, correcting some install issues (due to the builder's installation), and unfortunately, but very professionally talking through our replacement options. After talking to other techs via the phone, getting similar diagnoses and doing some research we realized we had not only a lemon of an AC system, but that we'd likely continue to have to deal with issues (even the same coil leak problem we were experiencing). So, we made the decision to replace the entire system. To help offset the pain, TG was able to charge up our system for the night and get a crew out the next day to replace our system on a Labor Day Monday. Not only did TG get our system running better (even with its leak) than it ever had, we had a whole new system within 48 hours of initially losing AC. There were of course some install issues and unforeseen follow-on issues making the process last a full week, but at the end of it we have been impressed with the overall professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge every tech was willing to share with us. We are happily waiting our visit from one of the owners to give his seal of approval to the install and perform a quality check so we can share our thanks in person. To add on to our experience, our neighbors AC malfunctioned the day after ours was replaced and they called them Tuesday night and had working AC by lunch on Wednesday. They were able to perform general maintenance and correct a minor issue that caused the AC to go out quickly. Given our experience with 6-7 different techs from our original AC install company that the builder used, I'd safely say these folks know their stuff better than most and are willing to walk you through each step they are doing and what they are seeing. If you haven't called already - do it.

Tech John came out and was very polite and respectful. Ran some test on my indoor and outdoor unit . Found that I had a leak at the coil and need a new draing pan . He was even nice enough to show me exactly where it was and informed me to keep the unit off until repair is made so I don't cause damage to my ceiling with the leaking water . It was the fourth day of 100+ degree weather, and it was getting hotter and hotter in my house. We had shopped around and gotten some quotes for new HVAC systems. Only problem was that everyone was booked. Then one morning we woke up, and realized there was no cold air in the house. I called All Star AC and explained the situation to them. They told me they would be able to send someone the next day. My newborn began to cry as I was on the phone. The call taker heard my baby, put me on hold, and then told me one of the owners of the company would be on his way in the next 30 minutes. The owner showed up and gave us two portable A/C units free of charge and said we could keep them until we got our system fixed or replaced - even if we went with another company - because he didn’t want our newborn to overheat. All in all, we decided on the spot to replace our A/C system. Their price was comparable, and they were able to schedule us for only a few days out. They also didn’t try to oversell us. I asked questions about different systems, and I was told the things you’d want to hear. Things like, “If I was buying this unit for my family, I’d buy this cheaper one, and that’s what I’d recommend.” The workers were professional and did a good and quick job on the installation. About a week later, they sent another person (again, another one of the owners) to my house to check and make sure everything was working properly. Every time they need to come over, they will call you to schedule. Then, they will call about 20-30 minutes before they arrive. Nothing but positive things to say about my experience with the company. Don’t hesitate to use them.

Fantastic Service & Quality. A joy to work with. Take care of their customers. Installed two full units (AC & heat) in 2018. Have run great. Recently one unit needed start capacitor replaced. They called when going to be slightly late from original quoted time. Fully checked both units while out to insure working properly & enough coolant. <30 days after the start capacitor service, the drain pipe PVC cracked due to an open/close valve being located in a challenging position to operate. They were out in ~30 minutes to fix the leaking pipe & relocate the valve to a better place. Would highly recommend.

I have used a number of Houston air conditioning and heating and repair services over the years and dissatified. Either their prices were ridiculously high or they manufactured problems and charged me to fix them. One repair service service polked holes in my heater when all he had to do was relight the pilot light. Finally, I found All Star Air Conditioning and Heating Services and have used them for many years because i found that their work was prompt, reliable, and honest. Last year, an All Star technician warned me that one of my compressors would probably not cool for more than a year because there was a slow freon leak in an aluminum coil that could not be satifactorily repaired. (The unit is over 12 years old). At that time, he put freon on the system, and yesterday, about 9 month later, it was again out of freon. Brian gave me a discount on a new unit, which they are going to install tomorrow. I am extremely pleased with their service. I called All Star Air Conditioning and Heating Services on Thursday morning because my air conditioner had stopped working Wednesday night. All Star was able to set an appointment for the same day several hours later. The technician, David, called when he was on his way and was at the house 15 minutes later. He first checked the thermostat and saw that it indicated that its batteries were dead. I could not read the message because it was in extremely small print and the thermostat reading were not back-lit. He knew to expect it. We replaced the batteries, he tightened a wire, and the air conditioning came on. David exemplified the kind of high quality service I had come to expect from All Star. I have used All Star for many years and have always found them to be honest, reliable, caring and very professional. Before that, I went through a number of Houston air conditioning companies and had mediocre to bad experiences with them, the worst of which included lying about repairs, jacking up their prices, and generally being unreliable. I would not use any other company.

Before I retired I owned and managed commercial properties and I have dealt with quiet a few Tech's, so I have a wide basis for comparison Apart from that they are and honest firm which perhaps is the most important thing of all. I initially called this business to have our heater repaired. They were very quick to come out and give us an estimate, which we thought was fair. However, because our unit was 20 years old, we asked them to replace the whole thing which they did very quickly and at a good price. (No one tried to pressure us to do this, we just thought it was past time to upgrade.) From the first repairman who came out to the team who installed the new unit, I was highly impressed with the professionalism each employee demonstrated. Everyone was courteous, answered every question thoroughly, and was respectful of me and my home. They seemed to genuinely enjoy their work and there was zero pressure at any time. When the owner followed up a week after installation to check that everything was working well and to take payment, I understood why he had such great employees because they were a reflection of who he was. In a time when you are not really sure who you can trust to take your money and give you a good product and service in return, it is such a relief to find a competent company with integrity. If you are looking to repair/replace your heater or AC, I would highly recommend this one!

My a/c and heater stopped working and Trenton was my service tech who came to do a diagnosis on my a/c unit. Trenton was on time, professional, and clearly communicated every step of the way. When he came to a conclusion, he kindly explained in detail the problem with my unit. The furnace control board was not functioning as designed. He gave me a few options and a few quotes (replace the control board or upgrade the entire A/C System) and was kind enough to speak to my partner about it. I told him I would decide over the weekend and follow up on Monday. I have used All Star several times before so I am confident in their service. I was advised by a family member to request a second opinion. With much hesitation, I got a second opinion. Couldn't hurt, right? My second opinion experience was not nearly as a pleasant experience as the quality, professionalism, and service I received from All Star. Unfortunately, the second opinion part-changed their way into a diagnosis and I felt as though I did not have any other option but to use their service. They were already doing the work while they were "diagnosing the problem." This just went from bad to worse and I wish I had spoken up, but the service is complete now and we are moving forward. Trenton followed up with me first thing on Monday morning and I chose to shamefully share this story with him. Trenton was so understanding, compassionate, and helpful. He was able to educate me further about the control board problem and why he was confident in diagnosis. I appreciate him taking the time to talk to me and he only spoke volumes of his company. It is obvious he is proud to work there and it shows that the entire company has integrity and incredible work ethic. I will be replacing my entire A/C System in the near future and I trust them to do the work 100%. In the future, there is no question in my mind that I will only be using All Star A/C for my future services. I believe they are a company who stands behind their work and will train their service techs to provide honest, quality service with confidence.

Several years ago, another company was telling us that our still-under-warranty AC unit had developed a problem and the pricy labour would not be covered under the warranty. I have an old AC unit that I can't replace at the moment. I've needed repairs in the past and worked with other companies based off of the order they popped up in my google search as long as they had >4 stars. I've had reasonable service, but with All Star I had to give them credit. They are not only the best AC service company I have ever worked with, but one of the best services I have used in general. The operator was knowlegeable and helpful, the technican even more so. I scheduled my appointement online the night before, recieved a call in the morning and the technician arrived that afternoon He did some troubleshooting for a few minutes and found the source of my problem right away. He explained my issues and my options with NO pressure. I honestly started to try to get him to look at other things around my house to see what else they could fix. Unofrtunately they only do ACs, but If I or anyone in my family ever has an issue with their air condition, they will be the only people I call.

Our air conditioner went out in the middle of a hot September day. We called All-star and had temporary air conditioning units delivered that day for a few days until they were able to come give us a new system. It was nice not to have a gap where our house got hot. Within two days we had two new air conditioners and an all new duct system, along with smart thermostats. The employees installing the system never stopped working. They were diligent! We also got installation added to our attic and had the guys come out and check the freon levels within the first week. From my initial virtual (message) contact, through to the service visit, this company was top-notch. Communication was quick, responsive, and clear. I was able to schedule my HVAC service for the next day and felt that the level of service vs. cost was perfectly in line with my expectations. They were from all I could gather thorough and offered pointers, suggestions, and tips that made sense and seemed to be in the best interest of our systems health and our own health (I.E. whole house UV). They did not seem impatient with all my questions and were happy to re-explain items of specific technical complexity in a way that made sense. The estimate while not inexpensive also felt reasonable for having to purchase two of everything (upstairs HVAC and downstairs HVAC, thanks to TX weather). I didn't feel pressured or pressed to buy something today, nor did I feel like the team who came were in a hurry to get out of here to the next job. Overall I highly recommend All-Star for at a minimum the HVAC maintenance service! Can't speak about any installation or repair work, however, based on what I did experience today, I think my opinion would remain the same. Definitely spot on.

David was an excellent communicator and was able to differentiate between what was needed and what wasn't. Great service. I was looking to replace my 11 year old Trane AC system. Over the years it had cost me many dollars and many service calls. When I was given a price of $4200 to replace leaky coils on the system I decide to look around. I found All Star having very good reviews and an A+ rating in the Better Business Bureau. In addition the new install was done extremely professionally within about three hours (heating and air conditioning). Service received recently 6/12/22 from ALLSTAR BBB+ approved company The furnace went out. I trusted their recommendation for a new unit because the old ac unit outside was leaking anyway and on the R22. Of course we we could of fixed it, but that's just a money pit. The serviceman was the owner(Ed), lucky for us. Now we are on a less expensive 16 seer Rudd Unit for downstairs, one of the top 10 in America. Lennox, we found out leak a lot and the AC companies get an extra $200/$300 for each one they sell. Stay away from Lennox. Our other old upstairs unit is a 6 seer Lennox, NOT lucky for us. That's in the near future. We will purchase an American made Rudd from them again. Ahhh! They had synchrony bank through which we applied for credit and chose the plan for 0% interest for 25 months. We will pay it off eventually. P.S. From beginning to end we we're treated like people need to be treated by the office and ac techs:NICE!!!!!

We felt bad about them coming out and not charging us anything, and they said if we want we could contribute money to their charity, Operation Snowstorm. They run a charity that creates "snowstorms" for kids who have terminal illnesses so that they can have an amazing day of fun that they would almost never otherwise get to have here in Houston where snow is extremely rare. I’ve had problems with my HVAC ‘sweating’ excessively and not draining properly on a couple of occasions and had it fixed by a couple of companies. This time we called All Star Air Texas they not only fixed our problem but looked further into our issue and discovered a potentially hazardous/deadly problem with our HVAC; Mold!!! We’ve had multiple repair crews and inspectors look at our system and none found the mold that Ed did. The entire unit was basically covered on the inside with mold and had to be gutted and replaced. The price was fair and the crew got it done in a few hours. Since then I have noticed that my children have had almost no sinus problems and coughs that has plagued our house for some time. I fully recommend this company if you have any AC issues.

100% Would Recommend I contacted All Star via Yelp at around 8AM Saturday morning to get a quote for a new AC unit. My old one had stopped working and getting old, I figured it was time to replace it. Ed said he could be there to take a look at everything at 9:30AM. No one else was able to come out so soon. While he was here he spent around an hour trying to get my old AC to work with zero payment or agreements I would be buying a new one, he confirmed that the compressor had gone, and a new unit was the best route given the age and condition Ed looked through the entire system and noted down that I had a few damaged ducts, and incorrectly configured ducts which they would fix. He also said that there was no good reason to replace my completely working Trane Furnace/Blower unless I wanted to go up in efficiency. All of the other companies I contacted required this to be changed too, so that could have saved me a lot of money. I opted to replace everything with a higher efficiency unit They came out first thing on Monday morning and replaced the AC Unit, Furnace, Foam Pad, New power disconnect box, new vent pipe for the furnace, new plywood next to the unit in the attic, new return air plenum and supply plenum and fixed and replaced a few ducts. Now the airflow is perfect and I can control how much air goes to each room via the dampers. They got everything up and running and said they would be back in a few days to make sure everything is running correctly and the Freon levels were correct. A few days later I had a fan issue which was the result of poor QC on American Standards end, but Ed came out that very morning I let him know of the issue and got everything fixed, and checked the entire system over. Unlike the other companies I contacted, All Star only wanted payment until after everything was installed and got checked over after a few days to make sure it was running correctly. At the time I contacted All Star, I also contacted a few different companies, including the top rated one here on Yelp in Houston with the most reviews. They gave me a very low price quote over the phone and agreed to come out and see if they could get the AC going before a new install, this was before All Star had contacted me so I agreed to let them come take a look at it. They managed to come out at 11AM after initially quoting 2:30PM, however the technician arrived in a completely different companies van, and then quoted me a higher price than I had gotten over the phone and didn't really seem to know why he was at my house. He also would not touch the unit stating he would have to charge me if he did. So much for our discussion over the phone agreeing this! I said I would think about it and let them know. At this point I contacted Ed and gave him the go-ahead on installing the new unit on Monday.

At that time, I believe they had won at least a few customer service awards. It was the PINNACLE and not just an average customer service award. That’s unheard of to win that many times in a row!!! They were a BBB company and had zero issues. I read all of the reviews before calling them. BEST DARN DECISION THAT I EVER MADE!! 😊 I called them and the lady on the phone was so professional and very helpful. It just gave me a GOOD feeling! They had Ed come and he was here in less than a hour and already had the problem diagnosed and repaired. He told me that my dogs had eaten through some wires and showed me before fixining it. Ed was quickly finished and the cost was pain-free! I was so afraid that it was going to cost a lot. It didn’t because they are a genuinely HONEST bunch of folks.
