Richard is a really friendly guy and was very knowledgeable, he installed three split AC units in my home and since he is a licensed electrician he did all the wiring for my remodel, including upgrading my power from 100amp to a 200amp service. I will have him back for the next project for sure! He did top quality professional work. 5 stars all the way!

I called this company to get two split AC units installed, they completed the job on time and at a good price, the quality of the work was top notch. We had a complex install because of old funky power in our house, couldn't be more happy with how they worked around the issues of our house. The biggest thing with these guys is they are super professional, friendly and trustworthy, just down to earth kind of people, will be using them for future jobs for sure. Highly recommend them. Oh we got the Mitsubishi Split AC's, has been super quiet and reliable!

We had a fantastic experience with Sun Electric & AC services! We live in a duplex-style condo and they were really patient and helpful with getting us approval from HOA. They really exceeded our expectations by helping us meet all the HOAs demands and regulations. Once we got approval, they were able to schedule us the next week and complete the installation of 3 split A/Cs within a day and a half. Amanda and Richard were super nice and friendly! Great family business, recommend 10/10!

We used Sun Electric to upgrade our electrical panel and install five new mini splits (2 -- 3/4 tons, a 1 ton and 2 - 2 tons) in our home in Kailua. Richard was tidy and accommodating and we felt his pricing was fair. We were so happy we had him return to install ceiling fans, change all our light switches and outlets, add new lights and the list goes on and on. We have done many other AC installs over the last two decades and remodeled many homes and this is one of our most seamless installs to-date. I would recommend Richard to anybody without hesitation!!!

I cannot recommend Sun Electric enough! They were extremely friendly and helpful. They did an incredible job installing A/C units in our offices, and were very quick and efficient. It is a family run business, and having a journeyman electrician on staff enables them to do all the work themselves.

Having Sun Electric work on my home was perhaps one of the best professional jobs that I have had done on this house. I'm often hesitant when it comes to a 'contractor,' but this was clearly work that I needed (new AC in master bedroom and new voltage system) and work that was well done by Sun Electric. Richard and his son will soon return to complete work on the main side of my home (its about 70 years old), and I am actually looking forward to it. Instead of dreading the much needed updates, my experience with Sun Electric has been quite the opposite. What a difference when you can speak and fully understand a contractor explaining the work to be done. My house presents a bit of a challenge but I have little doubt that it will done quite properly.

Richard and the crew at Sun Electric were a pleasure to work with. We had a large split ac unit installed in our living room and a smaller split ac system installed in our bedroom. Sun Electric were very knowledgable and helped us make the right decision on what size units for each room. Quality work at a great price.

The entire crew was courteous and hard working and installed three split unit Acs in our bedrooms in less than a day. Communication was fantastic throughout the process. On top of all that, it's a local Kailua company that understands older Kailua construction and electrical service. I can't stop recommending them to all my neighbors!

Responsive and very helpful. Of the multiple HVAC companies that I went to, the guys at sun electric acted quickly. I needed a trizone split ac installed in my highrise condo within a month and they got it done within my timeframe. I like that they are licensed for both electrical and ac which gave me the confidence it would be done right. They were even able to help me fix a few old electrical items in my condo that weren't up to electrical code.

Richie and his crew are top notch professionals! We had 5 ductless units installed last year (Oct 2019) when it was sweltering hot, and I was 8 months pregnant. We really wanted to make sure our home was cool and comfortable for the arrival of our son. From start to finish, no questions were left unanswered, and we were very comfortable throughout the entire process. They put together detailed info with pictures and descriptions of each location of the unit, condenser, ducting, and drainage for submission to our HOA. In just a few short weeks we had super icy AC, as well as some additional outlets in our closet and kitchen island. Our HOA had not approved a request for ductless AC installation in such a short period before ours. We are now the example for entire HOA. Sun Electric and AC Services sets the bar high! We highly recommend (and always recommend to friends inquiring) and will continue to use their services for all our electrical & ac needs.

They provided a thorough inspection of the electrical system as well as a detailed proposal explaining what was needed to complete the work. The receptionist was polite and said they only work on houses being built and only on ac units they've installed themselves. Not a normal call to repair company, kinda kills a lot of their business.
