When I chose “Great Value”, it was not just the material. It was also the people who got this done for us. From the start with RJ, getting us setup for time and date of installation. And at the end with their team showing us how cool the air feels and cleaning up. The electrician fixed a hazard that we had no idea of and he didn’t have to do that. That is great service. If you want great and quality service, give RJ and his team at Igloo AC. They will respond back, quick. You will not be disappointed. I know my family and I are not and we can sleep and feel cool. The team was timely, clean, professional, and went above & beyond what was expected installing a new system in a 40 year old home. IGLOO AC…. What can I say but THANK YOU! We stumbled into a home improvement show on a random Saturday and met the owner RJ. A very knowledgeable and thorough person. From the walkthrough to the final installation nothing but PROFESSIONAL. The entire team at Igloo AC was so easy to work with and we would recommend them 10 out of 10 times. Each person was not only knowledgeable but took the time to explain anything we had questions on. After the team left, we noticed that our electrical was tripping more often. This was a concern since it had never happened before. I called RJ and within hours his electrician was at our doorstep. He explained that since our home was built in the 80’s the newer breakers that he installed were more sensitive than the older ones, which means if the breaker was being overloaded it would automatically trip to prevent a spark or even a fire. Their electrician even rewired our microwave to go on its own breaker. They literally saved our Thanksgiving since the electrical was tripping in the kitchen. The time he took to complete the job in one day was a Godsend. RJ, your customer service is first class and greatly appreciated. You truly do treat your customers as family. We will be recommending Igloo AC to all our family, friends, and coworkers. If you need an AC my family and I recommend you go with IGLOO AC, you will not regret your decision. I contacted Igloo AC on a recommendation from Cosco (the AC place Not Costco), I talked with RJ and he came to our house on time as scheduled. We just bought the house and wanted to replace window AC with splits in each room (6 rooms), RJ and I walked the inside of the house and discussed our needs, He was concise, thorough, and no BS, gave me the reality. He was upfront and honest about each brand available they had and we went with his recommendations. He never pounded sales of the most expensive units he talked about pros and cons of each, I appreciated that. We walked around outside, we have toddler twins and wanted the units 7 feet off the ground, "no problem", (great). We scheduled a few weeks out, theTEAM arrived as scheduled, on time and ready to work. 6 units going inside and (3) compressors to hang outside. The foreman Greg was running the show, the techs Jon, AJ and electrician Bernie were all very professional, knew exactly what was going where and the job went flawless for 2 days, inside units on day one & outside compressor units day two. The work is absolutely beautiful, the wiring done by Bernie and all the piping beautifully concealed and contained, this job looks like it came with the house, quality inside and out. These guys worked heads down to the job for 2 straight days and finished well after dark on day 2, clean, professional and polite. They listened, they answered every question, every step, they gave us a brief before they left, perfect. TEAMWORK, like clockwork. The units...OMG We can't hear them running!!! Then Greg says "there is also a quiet mode" I laughed... Today, our home is a perfect temperature, no noise from AC running, the split units are well placed and super efficient, Thanks guys. The cost...The absolute best decision for home improvement, my wife and I are astounded at the bottom line cost of our comfort and wonder how they can do what they do for the price. If you are considering investing in AC, TALK TO RJ, Have his team install it, they are with you to the end and beyond. Bottom Line, Professional, NO BS, Polite, Highest quality work! I will look forward to working with Bernie to do some electrical work for me, and I won't hesitate to call RJ if I have maintenance questions, I will look forward to AJ or Jon to come by and perform the servicing. Installers cleaned up thoroughly when done, and after exploring several options the electrician was able to put in the additional line through and existing conduit. I was impressed by the workmanship of the team, finished product works well and looks great!

We just had our Daikin unit cleaned today for the first time. Igloo ac installed it in 2021. It was one of the services that RJ said was available when we had them install our Daikin. The tech who cleaned it was really professional, did a through job on the unit and left the area spotless and the price was reasonable. We will be calling Igloo ac again when it’s time to replace our other ac unit or when we need another cleaning.

Igloo AC was amazing. We had three ac units installed over a year ago. RJ met with me multiple times and went over good locations to install and several different options. He communicated exactly the plan and set a date about a month or so out from our meeting to allow the units to get shipped. When the time came, his crew arrived on time, and were extremely professional and efficient. They also have one of the best electricians I have met. They completed the job on time and we were psyched with the installation. Fast forward to now. The units have run perfectly, and we keep them on 24/7 to maintain humidity. Only confusing part is our electrical bill is super low. Through the year it stays around $300. We have lived in town and in other places on island, with window units and central ac and our electrical bills would shoot up. The units are amazing. We spent a little bit more on the high seer Fujitsu units and are very happy.

RJ is one of the most professional and responsive folks I have ever worked with. His team was spectacular, friendly, and professional. He's just one of those guys that shows up to do a job and you talk to him for 2 to 3 minutes and you can just tell that he has the best interest of you and your family at heart. He was meticulous and describing what AC units I would need. I had a nightmare power panel that was out of specs with multiple double taps and not up to code. RJ tackled the job both professionally and competently. The time he estimated was on point, his workers arrived on time, and they just got it done. Pricing was extremely reasonable considering I got some other quotes. I would recommend him and his team without reservation!

I've already referred a friend to them they're so good. They were the first of 5 companies to schedule a free estimate, there was no sales pitch, they just very patiently answered my questions over the course of many emails and guided me to the very awesome Daikin system that we ultimately went with (best warranty, best reliability, great price, sealed board so no risk of geckos getting in and frying it). On the 2 days of installation they were polite, respectful, and clean. They came out 2 weeks later at no charge to look at one of my machines that I thought was making a smell (turns out my daughter was burning a candle that made the weird toxic odor, we figured it out later). I would absolutely used them again!

We have two Mitsubishi units but only one finally died. I called several places to get an estimate. RJ came over and did an inspection and then gave us his opinion on the different brands of ac available. He sent us emails with estimates for both of our ac units even though he knew we were only changing one. He also gave us estimates on a Mitsubishi and a Daikin, I didn’t want any other brands. We decided to go with the Daikin. We paid half down and waited for the installation. They came on time and were very friendly and courteous. The younger guy had a little trouble installing our indoor unit, but the older guy took over because after he checked it, he wasn’t satisfied, he wanted it perfect. Sign of someone who cares about their work. Left the house and outside clean. I’ll be. Calling them when it’s time to clean our unit.

I searched a number of companies when we were looking to change our existing split AC units. RJ responded quickly, was professional and cordial during the walkthrough and provided us with 3 different options, offering pros and cons to each. He allowed us time to make a proper decision and followed-up accordingly. When time came for the install, his team was TOP notch. Everything you would hope to find and experience with a contractor, that you don't often find. From the lead on the job, Greg, to those on the team, they were phenomenal!! We had 4 older model split AC's that stopped working, We called Igloo AC, and we couldn't be happier, they replaced our old units with nice brand new ones. RJ was great to deal with, very professional and super helpful. They came to our place the day after we called them, RJ personally came and inspected our old AC's he was highly knowledgeable, he explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. The crew did a great job removing the old system and replacing it with the new AC's! The guys were super friendly, quick, and they did a great job leaving our place clean also! They gave us a very good price. We are very happy with Igloo AC and we highly recommend them!

It was not an easy job for them based on the size and construction of our home, but they made good decisions and my family and I are very pleased with the outcome. My Daikin was leaking refrigerant but the other company that installed my system would just fill up the refrigerant without fixing the problem. I'm so glad I gave Igloo AC a call when I found them on Daikin's dealer listing. RJ was able to locate and verify the leak, replaced a broken flair, thoroughly re-tested the unit until he was certain. Throughout the process he patiently answered my questions and explained what caused the leak. It's been a few months since RJ worked on my Daikin and the system is running great with no signs of leaks like before. It is evident that RJ is a highly-qualified AC specialist, he solved a challenging problem others couldn't solve for me. RJ was also very courteous, patient, punctual and professional. I was very impressed and satisfied with the workmanship, and will not hesitate to hire Igloo AC again should I need other services/installations in the future. Our Spilt AC units were very dirty and air quality was pretty bad. Not only were the prices really good, but the quality of service was excellent!!! David took pride in the work he did. After he completed the 3 units, he went back and was not satisfied with one so he set up again and cleaned it until it looked like new. I strongly Recommend IGLOO for your service needs. Once he was complete. Not only was the air flow 100 X better the temp came out cooler than before.

Honesty. Integrity. Thorough. Under budget and under deadline. Even though I initially asked them to come fix my outdoor unit in August RJ was flat honest with me and said “we are super back logged and won’t be able to come over until November”. That was initially really difficult but I appreciated the honesty because they fixed the problem in three hours and under gave me updates with displays every hour. Truly a Kailua small business gem.
