This is a great company. I had a couple of slow leaks in my basement. The technician, Chris, was at my door within a few hours of me calling. He was friendly, fast and efficient. The price was reasonable too so all around a good, honest company.

I had an error code on my split level unit over the Labor Day weekend. I called on Monday to request service and left a message. I received a call just after 8 AM Tuesday morning and was advised I would have someone arrive between 9 and 11 AM. I received a second call shortly after to provide the exact time of 9 AM. Brad arrived on time and was super professional He got right to work and took care of the issue. Brad explained everything and I ended up getting a surge protector as well. Great job, great response time, and I am now nice and cold again and can work comfortably!! Thank you Brad!!

I recently had a couple bathroom leaks and reached out to this company. At first someone came out was friendly but to be honest did not fully fix the issue. HOWEVER, when I called back the office was extremely responsive and great handling my frustration. They got someone back out to me quickly. Todd came and did not only resolve all concerns but gave us tips to utilize moving forward and was very personable (having three dogs and two young kids here that’s important to me). HIGHLY recommend this company!! I also appreciated the two hour window and updates on when they should arrive.

One of my pipe coupling had cracked and was dripping with condensation and was discovered before the yearly maintenance. When the technician came to do the maintenance he suggested what should be done to remedy the problem. He gave me very informed information and within the next week, he came back with another technician and they worked and fixed the problem They answered any and all my questions so I would understand what went on. They were very caring professional people and I extremely happy with the work done and am appreciative of the company hiring good people.

I had a new furnace put in. Four men showed up the job was done in less than 5 hours. I also had plumbing work done. The plumber ,Chris did an excellent job. He installed a new vanity and faucet taking his time to remove all the old caulking, cleaning the space before installing the new one. He took care to caulk it to perfection. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He shared his plumbing knowledge. I would hire his company again.

The only improvement for the business (this holds for most businesses) would be an increase in hours, to accommodate people who have trouble leaving work during the day. The furnace that they put on was not working after a month I purchased it. The technicians were nice polite and helpful. I loved the service until the furnace stopped working tonight. I called for the emergency service and their after hour people were rude and not helpful. They ONLY sever people who had their membership (and the person signed me up never mentioned about that option). I don’t understand I spent $12000 on them and I don’t desire for the service. I’m freezing at my house again after spending $12000. Update from the previous review. The technicians were here this afternoon, and they figured out the problem. They were knowledgeable and kind. I LIKE the service. However, the company really need to train or pay attention on those after hour staffs. I’m extremely disappointed by them, they know nothing and they were rude. When I mentioned I was disappointed and going to write a bad review, they were careless. Those kinds of customer services really turn people away.

We called last minute for a drain clog without much hope of a resolution. Much to our surprise we were able to get a technician the very same day! A phone call came in from not only the office but also Chris when he was on his way. He arrived promptly and took care of the problem and left the work area cleaner then when he had arrived. Called on a Saturday evening as we knew our water heater was on its way out. Spoke to a gentleman named Andre who was able to get us set up for first thing Monday morning to replace our current water heater with a Navien. The entire crew, starting with Katie who called me at 7:30 Monday morning to let me know they would be here around 8:30 to Chris and Paul who did the install were fantastic! Paul even tested our water for us before we left as there was some questionable residue in the old water heater, and he wanted to make sure the water was okay (which it was!). The entire team was professional and meticulous about their work and took pride in installing my new Navien unit! I highly recommend this company; they truly care about a “job well done”’!

Had the plumbing division come in to do an inspection on a home I was interested in purchasing. They were so thorough and caught red flags before my inspector even did! They were patient and explained all their findings to me and so professional! Overall absolutely worth the money spent and a wonderful experience. I will be using them to do the quoted work once we are settled in. Just had an oil maintenance performed by Kyle. He stayed for a few hours and went over everything he did with me, spared no details so I knew the work that was being done. He also shared some awesome recommendations with me to make my system work more efficiently. He was super patient and explained things really well to me. Very disappointed. On a time crunch due to gas leak and have heat loan setup ready to go, called made an appointment with TMS, salesman came in on the 11th and we signed to schedule install same day. It is now the 18th and I have called multiple days and every time I get the run around. No follow up from company! No accountability! If they won’t work hard to secure a sale then I wonder how they will be to service a customer?? I bet they won’t even bother to contact me after seeing this message. STAY AWAY FROM TMS. REVIEW UPDATE: I am updating review now that everything is done. The install had been done roughly 2 week or so ago, took them from 9-6ish pm and still had to have them come back due to system not working optimally and issue with particles getting into pipe leading to faucet. It was fixed at no extra charge which I DO appreciate. The manager who helped was Jenny Which she was nice, and did try to help us out. Overall manager help was great but communication before that was horrible, a lot of issues and install took a bit longer than they said it would plus needed to revisit. Maybe I am the only one who had a bad experience but due to them trying to make right will upgrade to 3 stars. FYI* I did not get money back or discount etc etc. also have 2 boxes of thermostats I couldn’t use but still charged for. Overall glad it’s finally done, all of this was worth it to use heat loan for 0.99%. Advise is go through the hassle and save money, convenience not worth paying 4-9% to use another form of financing. Also put it in mind to for process to take 3-4weeks.

From fist contact with Gerry Diaz and Mark Tiso who came to my house to place propane tanks I knew that I had made the right decision going with Total Mechanical. Second visit was Mark Tiso then came electricians Phil Lisieski and Jason Stevens along with furnace install guys Nick Dell’Aera Jr. and Derek Harris, all these guys are super professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Pricing fair and accommodating. Recommend to Highest Degree!!!!

TMS is fantastic! We had a major problem with our furnace that had been installed by another company. TMS came and red tagged our furnace but we had a new one very quickly and they were so helpful, friendly and professional. This time we had TMS come out to check our hot water heater. They looked everything over explained everything they were seeing in detail. Thankfully I don't need a new hot water heater but I am very grateful TMS came out and gave me peace of mind while also explaining how my hot water heater works and what to look for. This company is amazing. The people who have come out to my house have been so professional and helpful. I really appreciate after the mess that was left by the previous company. I recommend TMS to everyone. They are fair pricing and I trust their work.

This regards a Navien on-demand water heater yearly system check and flush. Plumber Tim was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He answered all my questions and cleaned up after the work was done. TMS prices were reasonable; based on the above I plan to use TMS whenever I'm faced with a situation that requires a plumber.

We had a tough and complex problem with the sewer line to the main getting blocked beyond 100ft from our home. Due to the old construction, there were no clearance openings in the long line to the main and the snaking would only clear up to a 100ft. Chris from TMS worked very hard at clearing the block using various techniques. He also employed several machines including a commercial grade snaking device and a scoping camera with lights. He was methodical in his problem solving approach and when it could not be resolved with all the solutions in the books, he reached out to his supervisor/colleagues. He used their inputs and went bought a sewer bladder. It was used to clear the block. I am very impressed with Chris' hard work, resourcefulness and his never say die attitude at work! Thanks! What can be improved - I am on a service plan with TMS that guarantees 24x7 emergency support but when i called them on Saturday with a SOS to help, they could not send anyone. They said it takes at least 2 people and they didn't have 2 people on call. This cost me $290 to move into Extended stay for 2 days while i waited for them to help on Monday. On Monday, just one person came and solved the problem, which tells me that they had no intent of sending 2 people and what happened on Saturday was just breach of trust i had in their plan. So, my recommendation is that it is an excellent company for repairs with professional staff, just that I have no trust in their service plan to be truly 24x7.

The consultation was informative, answering all of our questions. I have had my system several weeks during this hot stretch and I've never been more happy being in my house. I had Home Depot and Harp give me income estimates and they were both so much higher in price. I'm extremely happy I went with Total mechanical. A 4 person team came in worked 4 to 5 hours. Went back to the shop to do so duct building came back the next day worked another 5 hours and were done just as Mark estimated. They put walking paper on all the walking area then at the end picked it all up and vacuumed everywhere to clean up. The left the house in side and out exactly as it was when they first got here. The team was courteous, respectful, professional and friendly, especially their team lead who I felt I could trust as much as the owner Mark. I was very happy with the entire operation from the time Mark sat down with me through completion of the A/C. (Note: I already had old duct work in place. They removed two old outside units and the old attic AC compressor replacing them.

Swapped out toilet supply line valve. Very simple fix, literally took less than 5 minutes. Cost was $379. They did a fine job but even assuming it took half an hour to drive to my place that's nearly $500/hour. For a plumber. I know plenty of good doctors and lawyers that charge half that amount per hour.

Just had them fix a clogged sink. They checked all my plumbing to see that it was ok and for further service down the road for before pictures. That impressed me. My sink is unclogged and I don’t think I ever saw it drain that fast. They came out the same day I called too, not sure that is always the case it no long wait. TMS has been nothing but wonderful during the entire process. From explaining to me why my current boiler needed to be replaced immediately to giving fair pricing and quality work on the install. My sales rep Mike was informative, respectful and a pleasure to talk with. He explained all the numbers and the equipment I was buying (between 4 quotes, they were all essentially the same pricing). And the install crew was great as well. Have had a couple minor hiccups after the install and both times they came out quick and were apologetic and immediately remedied the issues. For an issue that cost me thousands, I'm very happy with how things worked out and for choosing TSM to do my boiler replacement.

We had a great experience with Stephen Feinstein during our AC installation quote. He called before he arrived and showed up early, which worked for us. Very friendly and personable. He explained to us the different types of systems and how they would or wouldn’t work for our needs. He explained everything with attention to detail and answered all of our questions. He was very respectful of our home, wearing protection over his rain wet shoes, and asked before entering any location of the house. He also showed us every picture he took, with our privacy in mind. He showed us many price points from a whole home install option down to smaller setups. Even after trying going over every possibility for us, unfortunately we were unable to go through with the project at the fault of our own due to financing issues. If it wasn’t for that, we would have set up the installation right then and there otherwise. We will be contacting them as soon as we are fully ready! Great guy, I recommend his services!!

What a great company! Called a few companies so they could get to my elderly moms house for over a week. Brad Marshall came out and was honest about the furnace being 18 years old and not worth trying to fix it. Instead of trying to fix it we decided to replace. Brad gave us the option of a hybrid system or just a air-conditioning system. We decided to go with a efficient heat pump to help us save money with the crazy oil prices this winter! Thanks TMS!!!

I had an HVAC compressor and air handler installed on my second floor. Michael Bennett was an absolute pleasure to work with! He took his time answering all our questions, and responded promptly when I called him throughout the entire process. The install crew was extremely respectful and professional. They worked very clean and damaged nothing! They did exactly what they said they would do and Michael was on top of it all facilitating communication where needed and followed up with me to make sure we were happy. One minor hiccup. The install was in August. In the late fall we turned the heat on and noticed the heat wasn't circulating. I called and they immediately had a tech at my house and in minutes resolved the issue. During the install they made an adjustment to the fan speed by my request and forgot to attach a wire back. There was no charge for the service call. I waited several months before writing the review to monitor everything and I'm extremely pleased. I highly recommend Total Mechanical Systems! Ask for Michael Bennett, he is an absolute professional!

I had Mike out to my house on April, 20, 21 for a estimate on a Ductless Air/Heating system for our basement. He was right on time very friendly we explained what we wanted and I showed him where the unit would go. He answered all my questions and answered any question we never even thought of. Out of the 27 years of living in our house Mike has been the best salesman I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I did explain to him I was getting another quote later in the day, HE DID NOT PRESSURE ME AT ALL!!! I told him I was happy with his quote but my dad always taught me to get more than one. I have never experienced such a genuinely friendly, efficient, professional company. I called when my 12 year old Heat/AC unit bit the dust, hoping it was an easy fix. Amanda answered the phone and set me up with a quick appointment to have the problem diagnosed. Tyler and Chris arrived on time, a wee bit early actually, and were upbeat and respectful, wore masks, shoe booties to protect my floor while inside and spent a great deal of time checking out all possible problems. I was in need of a new unit. I was set up with an appointment with Mike the next day to get a quote. I spoke with Luis and Sherman in the service department, to either asked questions and/or to confirm the scheduled appointments, and, man, they were both just very polite, friendly, accommodating. Mike, is an exceptionally nice guy and I enjoyed his expertise. He spent a great deal of time with me, asking questions, measuring the rooms, etc. and checking out the unit. He was able to give me a quote on the spot, discussed potential financing options, etc. He spoke of how Total Mechanical Service is a “white glove” service and how they have been subcontracting from Home Depot for 14 years. I felt like he was sincerely interested in getting me the best deal for my situation and as soon as possible, since it is just starting to get cold. I asked two other HVAC companies for quotes, even though I was already “sold” on TMS. The caliber of the personalities, professionalism and feeling of personal connection was almost non existent compared to any of the Total Mechanical Systems crew. Not only was TMS the best quote, the smaller companies also had a harder time locating available units and had only a one year labor warranty vs. a 3 year labor warranty with TMS. It has been a refreshing, all around pleasurable experience on all levels and I highly recommend them.

As far as quality of products and services go I can’t really speak to that, yet. I’ve contacted TMS once before and they were very quick to respond and worked with me to build out a price to replace my furnace and AC. I couldn’t afford it at the time and decided to tough it out for a year. Fast forward to a year later and I now NEED to replace these items. Again, TMS was quick to respond and came to my house to do another estimate. They honored the pricing they had given me a year before, with a small adjustment for the rising cost of parts, and say they will have everything completed and installed within the next week or so. As far as customer service and response goes, these guys are terrific! Once they’ve completed the install and I have a chance to test out the new equipment I’ll update the review to include that, as well. Based on our interactions so far I’m confident I’ll be very satisfied. Update: TMS delivered exactly as promised within a week of coming for the estimate. My family has been living much more comfortably with our newly installed high-efficiency furnace and we are no longer stressed about whether or not we will be able to keep our home warm during the cold winter months. 7/8/2022 Chris installed a new toilet and removed the old, 1970s one. He was professional, courteous, and cared a great deal about his work. We are pleased with the outcome. 4 ⭐️s! UPDATED REVIEW Now that we have had the full TMS experience, we’d like to offer an updated review. After receiving quotes from six different HVAC companies, we hired TMS to replaced our old HVAC system, heating and cooling. Mike Bennett, a nice guy and very good sales associate, came to our home and explained the options and prices available to us. The final price quote was notably higher than other HVAC companies. However, we trusted the brand being installed by TMS (Carrier). Also, we liked and quickly trusted Mike, who assured us that TMS provides more than other companies, including a fan-in-a-can, which is for combustion air and is required by code. The fan-in-a-can was concerning to us, because not one of the other six HVAC companies mentioned it, and they took exact measurements of our entire home. Furthermore, we did not want cold air from the outside to be released into our basement In the dead of winter. Then again, who are we to question fire codes? Fast forward to installation day… A Carrier AC Unit was delivered on the morning of the install. The crew showed up on time with everything else. They diligently worked all day (8 hours I think). At the completion of the install, one of the guys quickly walked us through our new systems, and had us sign some paperwork. He mentioned that TMS would take care of all the warranty registrations. We felt a little rushed, but understood that they had been at our home all day and perhaps had a long drive home. They left the work area spotless. Unfortunately, that is not all they left. We were left with no hot water, a dripping copper pipe that needed to be capped properly, a very cold basement due to the fan-in-a-can, and no manuals for the Carrier AC, AC water pump, Carrier Furnace, Thermostat, and fan-in-a-can. We also noticed that the furnace stair switch that the crew said was mandatory had been removed and there was only a non-labeled switch on the furnace. Furthermore, the furnace did not have a “Carrier” label like the AC, so we are not sure if we got what we paid for. Thankfully, TMS sent someone out the same night to address the hot water issue. A few days later, we ended up paying TMS Plumbing an additional few hundred dollars to fix the leak. And, the fan-in-can that was necessary due to code…neither our home appraiser or building inspector had ever heard of it. The building inspector said that we had plenty of room and air in our large basement without the fan. He also negatively mentioned the cold air in the basement. Needless to say, we are working to figure out how to remedy the problem of our freezing basement. Lastly, we are still waiting on our manuals and warranty information a month later.

I called right up and within 3 hours someone was at our door to help diagnose our issue as promised by the dispatcher. Total Mechanical Systems replaced my central air conditioning. The next day they sent Eddie out to fix the thermostat and a shut off switch that was not working the way we needed it to. It has worked great since. It was more expensive than other quotes I received, I had more than a bit of sticker shock, but they worked to get my system installed quickly and there were no surprise costs even when parts of the system were on back order. They brought everything up to code. They were friendly, professional, and explained things to me without talking down to me. They were fast and efficient. They were all vaccinated but still wore masks in my home. They also wore shoe covering and put a drop cloth down so I had less clean up when they were done. All in all, the higher cost (assuming the other quotes would have actually come in at the quoted cost in the end) was worth it for the assurance of a properly installed system.

Had a very positive experience all around. The salesman Mike was very good, very responsive, and not too pushy. From the time we decided to go ahead with install, it was completely finished less than one week later. There was a team of five installers that came for two consecutive days. Everyone was courteous and polite. It seemed like they really went out of their way to keep things clean and orderly. They took great care to explain things. Every person I dealt with was very professional, and very responsive. We have a 2400 square-foot colonial with a large bonus room. They installed a Carrier heat/cooling system with ductwork in the attic and put vents into the three bedrooms upstairs. We were very price conscious, and they worked with us on that. I believe that’s why they did not put vents into the bathrooms or the hallway. They put a ductless mini split in our large extra room, which will blow into the kitchen and other areas. Again because we were price conscious, we just did one mini split where two would probably cool the house better in the dog days of summer. They suggested a unit that has capacity to power an additional mini split if we change your mind later on. The initial price quoted was nearly $19,000. Eventually we settled on $16,000. The $16,000 was less expensive than the other equally reputable company we spoke to. Would highly recommend.

I simply went to my local Home Depot store and requested the work through them. I received an instant notification that I would be contacted. I was contacted by Ashley at Total Mechanical. She was very upbeat and professional and could answer any questions that I had. She scheduled my tune ups and also upon request sent me the checklist that the tech would be using so that I knew exactly what to expect and could prepare any questions for tech ahead of time. The day of my tune up I received a call ahead from Ashley that the tech was on his way. The tech, Brett, showed up ahead of schedule in a company truck. Brett was well prepared with his personal protection(COVID-19) requirements and his tools needed for the job. Brett was thorough and answered any of my concerns and questions. They took my information, and since I have a service plan, within an hour and a half, I had gotten call back from the tech, scheduled him to come take a look, and had him start working on replacing the leaking valve. The tech was friendly and seemed knowledgeable (although, I do wish he had kept his mask from slipping down off his nose). I only took a star off because, even with my 15% service plan discount, it was very expensive to replace a tiny valve.

I had boiler repair and maintenance service from TMS. Chris, one of TMS service engineer, is the greatest engineer ever. He has very good knowledge with the heating & boiling system. I am very excited about my three new Ductless Mini-splits! The three installers and the electrician came to my log home with confidence and a sense of challenge. They figured out how to modify for the log home and listened to my sense of aesthetics to not ruin the look of the logs. They used stones and gravel to even out a little hill behind my house so the condenser could fit on a level. My previously hot and humid home is now cool and smooth. I liked the tutorial at the end to fully understand the usage of the remote control. Originally, they were going to take up two days but they got it all done between 9 and 6 PM. These are very hardworking knowledgeable professionals. I had heard about ductless on a trip to Madrid. Now I realize more and more Americans are going this European route! Total Mechanical is the company that installed my heating and air conditioning system about 10 years ago. Once the system was installed, I thought it would be a good idea to take out one of their plans to do a yearly maintenance on my system, which also included a discount if any service was needed. For the past 10 years, my system has performed well, needing very little additional service...outside of my yearly system checks. Yesterday, it was time for my yearly checkup. TM set the whole thing up for me, based on my availability, and was in contact with me so I knew who and when the tech would arrive. His name was Edward McKernan and he was right on time. He checked my system outside and inside, even replacing the filter. It had been a warm day with the humidity on the rise, so we already had the A/C running...which I'm sure made it a bit easier to get started, since we didn't have to wait for the system to kick on. He was fast and very efficient, but did not rush to get the job done. At no time did I feel like he was just there because the job said he had to be. He explained everything he was checking for, and made a couple of suggestions to keep the system working as it has been, such as no extremes in temperatures, keeping an eye on the filter, etc. He also made sure to turn off the lights downstairs when he was finished. He also told me of a new feature TM offers called REME HALO home in-duct air purifier. It's a fresh air UV system that works to remove air borne microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, germs, odors--even the Covid19 virus) from the air inside the house. I plan on getting this feature in the near future, but I had just purchased a kitchen redo (cabinets, counters, Fridge, new floor) and that needs to be done and paid for first. Overall, it's really not that expensive ($799) but the several thousands I spent on the kitchen does make it necessary to put this off for a month or three, but I will be adding it to my system in the near future. Hopefully, I won't need to call for a tech before my next annual checkup, but I know if I do need to, Total Mechanical will be here to take care of me quickly and efficiently. I rate this company AAA+++ and 5 Stars...Al Leonard, a very satisfied customer.

Recently I had a water heater installed. I’ll be honest they were not the cheapest(but they waived the service fee, with approval of the installation). I did not trust other companies I spoke with. Update: 2 year's later we have been leaking water from one of our units. I called another local serviceman to come see what the problem was and he said that ductless air units have to be professionally cleaned regularly and it's $600 per unit! Apparently regularly is every two years, and we were not told any of this. we would not have gotten a ductless air system knowing we would basically buy a new system every two years. The technicians were quick friendly and clean, it's the inhouse team I'm furious with.
