Can't say enough about the speed, efficiency and quality of service we received. We had an on going issue with another provider and within 72 hours of contacting Climatech, Joey came out and fixed it with no problems. I would not hesitate to recommend Climatech to anyone in the Wallingford area!

Always used Climatech in the past for heating and air-conditioning service, repairs, and installations of both boiler and AC system. Tried a competitor because they offered a special deal with heating tune up and get AC tune up for a special price. Well this "other company" did the heating, got paid for it and then reneged on their contract for the AC. Well you get what you pay for, and if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. We learned our lesson, we're back with Climatech. They came out two days after calling, serviced our AC, and we're happy to be nice and cool again! Do yourself a favor and stick with these guys, they have never let us down.

Our oil boiler stopped working the day after getting our last oil delivery. I called Climatech right away that morning when I discovered the heat and hot water were not working. They had a knowledgeable technician out to me that same day and had us up and running before he left. I always call Climatech and count on their dependability when we are in need. They answer the phone, Stephanie, a real live person. She got me in touch with one of the technicians. I asked for same day service, and that's what I got. Joey, the technician, came to my house and repaired my A/C. Knowledgeable, courteous, and quick. He did not try to sell me anything. He just repaired the problem and left. He actually remembered me from the last 2 times I called. I would recommend Climatech in a heartbeat for your HVAC repairs.

My on demand propane system suddenly stopped making heat (in the middle of January mind you) and I gave Climatech a call to help me address the problem. Not only were they very quick to arrive, the technician was very professional, timely and very knowledgeable and solved our issue. Our oil furnace stopped working suddenly and after reading good reviews we called Climatech. They had someone here the very next day and text to let us know when he’d be coming. The furnace was repaired at a reasonable price and the service man was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The next morning our heat was out again and unfortunately it was on Thanksgiving. I called Climatech that morning and left my number with their answering service. I got a call back about an hour later from a service tech who had already notified our repair tech from the previous day. He assured me he would be back out here in about an hour. He arrived within the time promised and realized when he got here that a valve had been left off. He said it was his fault and had to redo the steps from the previous day and made sure our heat was back on. He even gave us some more information on a part that might need to be replaced in the future and what to look out for in case it did. He didn’t charge us a thing. He came out on Thanksgiving morning and he didn’t have to tell me it was his fault. I know absolutely nothing about oil furnaces and would never know otherwise. If you want a fast, honest and reliable company give them a call. I never write reviews but this was something I want people shopping around to know.

Our boiler died right when the temperature dropped and we didn't have heat or hot water. Brian and his team came out right away when other companies wouldn't. They were thorough in their diagnostics. Their admin team gave us a clear service plan and didn't try to up-sell anything. Brian and team were able to get our heat and hotwater restored in a timely fashion, and even offered space heaters for the house during repairs. Thoughtful and quality service! I highly recommend!

I purchased a replacement AC Unit, gas furnace and a gas water heater, with installation service from Climatech. The crew arrived in the morning and were quick to work. They were friendly and informative, answering every question I had. The team wore masks whenever interacting with me, as well. They faced challenges with this job. Very right working space, a small utility room, and bad water shutoffs that had locked up. They overcame every issue and still finished in the afternoon. The job had gone great. However, we ran into an issue with the property management who reviewed the work after Climatech had left, and stated the AC unit needed to be moved a foot or so over from where it was installed. This was my oversight as I didn't research the rules before hand. I was very concerned and anxious, so I called Climatech and told them what had happened. Without complaint, Climatech returned the next day and disconnect, moved and reconnected the AC unit - all without charging me anything extra. That's customer service! They could have easily charged me for this since it was in fact my problem, not theirs. They could have not made someone available so quickly, as I'm sure they had other plans for the techs on the second day. I am very grateful to Climatech for not just doing the job so well the first day, but cleaning up my mess the second day. I strongly recommend Climatech to anyone interested in an excellent customer experience.

If you are looking for a reliable professional business that will put your needs above all else Climatech is the company to go with. They make sure to always put the needs of their customers first. If something breaks down they make it their priority to get to you as soon as possible while provide the best service possible. Climatech is located 40mins from my home and i would rather pay the extra small fee for them to come out to my house then to try anyone else locally. They are that good and that reliable. Very pleased with the service they provided for me at my home. They have won me as a customer for good and i will recommend their services to everyone.

From the very first call I was treated as if I were their only customer. Our central air went during the heat wave and we needed it replaced quickly. I’ve owned a business for 50 years and have dealt with many service companies but none can compare with these people. The service technicians knew exactly what to do. Always pleasant and courteous. Our furnace quit working on a 30 degree Sunday evening and they arrived within an hour of us calling them. We had tried several other firms but they either a) didn’t pick up the phone (though claiming they offered 24 hour service), b) didn’t return our phone call, or c) told us they could try to be there by Tuesday noon. Throughout the process, they were very professional, prompt, and they repeatedly called/texted us to keep us updated. Great customer service is always important, but even more so when your furnace isn’t working and it’s below freezing.

Found out about Climatech after my sister used them last summer for a replacement of the outdoor compressor unit in the middle of last summer! Knowing we were also on borrowed time with our A/C system we decided to contact before they are busy to get a price on a new A/C system. First I must say that I called 3 companies for pricing and Climatech called me back promptly, the other two never called back? This was about 2 weeks ago. I actually had to call 2 more companies just to get one to respond and come out for a quote. I'm a small business owner myself and could never imagine handling possible customers that way. This is one of the main reasons I felt the want to leave a positive review for Climatech as they impressed me on that end. Their representative Paul was very informative and upfront with options for replacing with a standard system versus high efficiency and what options were available. He really seemed to know what was good for us and wanted to give us enough information to help us make an informative decision. Pricing was within my budget and both quotes were close enough in pricing to make me comfortable overall. Throughout the planning of the installation the office staff, who we already spoke to a few times were very pleasant to deal with. Our first attempt to setup the installation was met with inclement weather but fortunately they squeezed us in as soon as they could a couple of days later, All the while keeping me updated which was very surprising compared to what I have dealt with past contractors who don't seem to answer their phone let alone call me. The technicians were also nice guys and concerned about making sure the final job was to our liking. They even found why one of my rooms didn't seem to have much airflow due to a tear in the ductwork and were glad to take care of this . We are very pleased with how quickly they turned everything around and now our system ran great over this past week. It's something I feel others should know about so they too make a wise decision on choosing a good contractor.

I was in a bit of pinch when my central air failed. Made some calls around to local HVAC businesses and was told I'd need to wait a few weeks. Called Climatech and even though they were busy too they didn't push it off leaving the possibility that if a tech frees up they'd send them over. A tech ended up having time that same day. They sent over Joey who was excellent and very knowledgeable. He was able to pretty quickly identify the issue and complete the repair. Highly recommend using Climatech.

I worked with Climatech to install a ductless heat pump system in the summer of 2021. The process itself was fairly complex, as I wanted to install a heat pump system that can provide heat/AC to my entire (previously un-air conditioned) house, and leave room in the system for expansion pending finishing the attic. Climatech helped me scope the job, walked me through the incentive financing process and various historical zoning approvals, and then kept me updated as various backordered components came in. My highest praise by far is for the installation process. The team they sent out was professional, courteous, efficient, and extremely considerate of performing construction around a 10 month old baby that naps twice a day. Climatech is a professional outfit and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I had an issue with my central air unit and called Climatech. They were quick to respond and when it turned out the issue was a bit more in depth then we thought we had the entire furnace replaced. They were able to order it and install it with in a few days. The techs made sure that everything was taken care of, staying late to make sure the job was completed and cleanup was done. I was told by another company that my 11 year old central air system had to be totally replaced after the breaker started to trip. Paul from Climatech told me I only had to replace the outside unit and the air handler in the attic was fine. In a few hours the techs had swapped out the old unit and I was back up and running saving me about $3500.00. I found myself in a bad situation after years of putting off having my AC serviced it finally stopped working in a very hot and humid July. The company with which I normally do business was going to take several days to come out. One call to Climatech and they were out the same day even though I am outside their normal service area. Called around 6 pm when I came home to no heat. They came about an hour later, diagnosed it but couldn’t fix it due to not having the part. Charged $210 diagnostic fee. They came the next day to put the part in. Originally told it the part was $110, and the total for day 2 would be $695. When I questioned it, I was told “I’m new so I apologize I gave you the wrong amount”. The tech (who was great by the way) came, put it in and told me that it was more than $110 for the part. Still don’t know how much. Bottom line is that my heat was fixed about 24 hours later, and I paid $905 Probably wouldn’t be choosing again based on the lack of clarity.

Absolutely the best! My water heater died early this morning, water everywhere. Climatech had it removed and replaced with a shiny new one within in a few hours. Prices are very reasonable. And the men that came to my house were polite and charming (and they cleaned up afterwards!). Great people who do a great job at a great price and do it very quickly. What more could you ask for? I'd highly recommend them to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

I've never had a better experience with any company. Boiler died on Thursday night. I'm a new customer to them and I know they were busy. It happened to be the coldest night of the year. I gave them a call, and within 30 minutes a salesman was here. He went over my options and gave me a price first thing in the morning. Three hours later, two technicians were at my house with a new boiler. They worked into the night to make sure my family had heat. Awesome service. Simply awesome. I wish I remembered everyones name so I could specifically say how great they were. Sales was great, service even better. They should teach courses to other HVAC companies on how to be awesome.

Right off the bat the person I scheduled with was ready to help. I’m so sick of calling places and they act like they are doing you a favor. They get short term fat and happy and arrogant. I would call this company anytime and will be when I need service in the future. And I have some new business for them. My opinion, worth calling when you need someone reliable. We were told our system had failed and needed to be replaced and were left with no air conditioning last week. Called up Climatech, they came in and added some refrigerant to system to get us going so we would be comfortable. We were happy to be cool and they gave us a discount on the new 410a system which was installed within 7 days. The first company we called wanted us to stay in a hot home and melt but we were thrilled when Climatech came out within a few hours of our call. I dont ever post reviews but was so pleased with Climatech's work I had to share. These guys at Climatech are great and I won't hesitate to use them in the future.

I heard about Climatech who then came out assessed the issues I had with my heating system, was able to turn on the gas and also was able to find and fix the leaks that I had in my system. Mini-split install was great and pricing was good; BUT LOOK OUT for regular maintenance costs AND repairs! Cleaning $250 per unit and Diagnostic fee of $250!! Got a $450 bill for a minor problem that the tech fixed in 15 minutes! Over twice the cost of most companies. Left 2 messages with office manager to have owner call us , but he wouldn't return my calls, so I paid bill to be done with them :( Shame on me for not doing my research ahead of time...But also lucky for me I didn't hire them for our other AC replacement....things happen for a reason :)

The team at Climatech are wonderful. Our central air started leaking into our ceiling on one of the hottest days of the year. Although we were not a current customer, Paul responded very quickly to my call and had a technician (Joey) at my house at 7am to fix it. Joey explained that the elbow in the drain pipe separated and resolved the problem within an hour. Called them to fix my A/C. The came out quickly and all the people in office are very nice and polite. Tech showed up and determined it was a short in the wiring and the contactor. Took 2 hours to repair. I am ok with the labor fees. What I am taken back on was the part. I googled the for my Goodman unit and the prices range from $20-$40. I was charged $208.00 with a $30 discount so $178. I do accept a service company doubling cost but this seams like their marking it up 400%. That’s like the markup on alcohol at a restaurant. May use them again but probably not.

When I call and talk with him he is extremely pleasant and always great customer service. He actually gives me troubleshooting advice over the phone and recommends what to do and not to do. Recently new to the area, and Googled HVAC in Wallingford, Climatech came up and had great reviews. My AC was out, and I needed to replace the heat pump. I had someone come to my home, and within that day had an estimate. The estimate had various heat pumps with information regarding each, as a consumer it is important to have various selection to choose from. I chose the recommenced heat pump, and Climatech was great working with my busy schedule for the installment date. I had the heat pump installed, and my AC going all in 1 day. All parties involved were very professional, and ethical. I highly recommend Climatech for all HVAC issues.

ClimaTech's provided me reliable, prompt service since I've owned my home in CT since 2011. This year's tune-up tech was great, as has been the case every year. I came home yesterday to a house that felt a little warmer than normal. Sure enough, the AC wasn't working, and the temperature crept up a few degrees per hour. With temperatures for the week projected to be in the mid nineties and two kids that stay at home during the day, I needed someone to diagnose and fix the problem ASAP. Climatech is located in Wallingford where I live, so I called the office and had someone out within the hour despite being in the early evening. The serviceman was very professional and quickly determined that the capacitor on my outdoor condenser was bad. He swapped it out, made sure everything was functioning properly, and was on his way. The reviews of Climatech on Google are valid reviews. I was not sure who to hire for my tenant's A/C issue as I haven't lived in CT in over 6 years and it seemed like the last couple of businesses all went out of business or at least won't answer their phones! After hiring Climatech, I found them very easy and comfortable to deal with - even with my location overseas and unable to directly deal with the technician. Should the need arise to use them with any of my other commercial or residential properties I will not hesitate to call them, nor should you!

Our existing 10 year old Trane air conditioning system developed a severe freon (R-22) leak, and we decided to install a new system that uses the preferred refrigerant, R-410a. After obtaining quotes from several local contractors, we accepted a bid from Climatech; they offered an excellent American Standard system at a very competitive price. The installers arrived when promised and installed the new system promptly and efficiently. The clean up after system installation was also neat and efficient. The new system performance has been excellent; and with an improved SEER rating, the reduction in electricity consumption was noticeable on the first power bill. We couldn't be more pleased with Climatech and would recommend them to others.

After some initial issues, Climatech...and most notably as other reviewer mention, PAUL NASKI went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me. He really cares about customers, his work, and his reputation. THAT I can't say enough about-he's an asset and then some. While I didn’t originally give 5 *'s due to some issues I won't get into, the responsiveness, work ethic and caring went a long way to give me a much better impression of Climatech, and at this point I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services and certainly recommend PAUL whom is terrific.

I tried the air conditioning on my Mitsubishi split system in the sunroom on Tuesday afternoon to make sure it was working. It was not. I immediately called Climatech and they sent a service person the next day. The problem was quickly diagnosed and it was found that the problem for this unit was still covered under warranty. After discussion with Paul, it was decided that it made more sense to install a completely new unit instead of repairing the older, defective unit. I have used Climatech for all my HVAV needs over the years and have always been satisfied with the cost of service and equipment.
