WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND VREDEVOOGD. What a wonderful experience, working with Vredevoogd HVAC.. From Paul's Sales Presentation and Cost Quote through the Cody & Dan Crew's installation, we were quite pleased. Though not our cheapest of the (4) quotes we received, Vredevoogd had the best Warranties in terms of years of service coverage on BOTH Parts and Labor! Of the quotes we received, Paul had the best presentation, putting things in layman's terms, and he was the most knowledgable with hands on experience. Paul imparted facts and things to consider that NONE of the other HVAC companies did. Vredevoogd's Money Back Satisfaction Guarantee put our minds at ease and made the decision clear for us. So, in our humble opinion they were the best quote for the best value. The Installation Crew was top notch! Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They were always on time and very pleasant. They took care to protect our floors with tarps as they worked. The amount of work they did INDOORS (which we did not photograph), was incredible--including installation of a free Whole House Humidifier!. It was a very thorough and clean installation. We had excellent service from Vredevoogd, from the very quick service call by JP on the first hot days of summer, to a quick replacement of our thermostat, which solved the initial problem. We also consulted with Lee, who taught us a great deal about AC systems. They quickly installed a new AC (to replace a 30-year-old one) and a new furnace (old one was 25 years old). The workmanship and professionalism of the installers was outstanding. Both new systems were installed in a few hours. Everyone we dealt with was exceptional. Their prices were reasonable after rebates from Consumers Power and discounts from the company. Excellent service warranty included. We appreciated the emphasis on future energy savings, too.

Joel did a nice job being thorough trying to find the issue I was having. He was pleasant, did a nice job explaining what he was doing and answering all the questions I had. He didn’t advocate for unneeded repairs or charges. I felt he did a good job and I got a good value for what I paid and would call again. While my issue was a simple one, I have no reason to mark anything lower than a 5 star as I can’t think of anything he could have done differently or better.

Great people. Great company. Everyone I talked to was super nice, and helpful. Steve came out to the house, and in no time, came back and told me what the issue was. Unfortunately, I have to replace my 24 year old furnace. It's a couple days until they can get a new one in, so he gave me some heaters to keep some warmth in the house until then. He was very friendly, and professional. 10/10. Would definitely use again.

Set up appointment for furnace maintenance and the technician found right away what the issue was and we ended up needing a new furnace and also looks like the water heater needed to be replaced. Got scheduled for service that next week. The technicians were professional and did a great job. They replaced some duct work and everything looks great. Highly recommend. Just had Steve V. from Vredevoogd stop by to check my furnace and when it sounded like the best course of action was to get a new furnace I wanted to also get central air. Steve was excellent at helping me set up a payment plan and was just all around very pleasant to work with! I've been a part of their club which comes with a yearly furnace check and Vredevoogd has always sent great people over but today in particular Steve V. knocked it out of the park. UPDATE: I received a call from the GM of Vredevoogd who was very apologetic about everything that had happened. He went above and beyond to help me and I am happy to say that we have heat again! My confidence in this company was restored even though it was an unfortunate event. I cannot thank Brian, Austin, and Griffin enough for all of their help! I am normally very pleased with this company but this current experience is less than acceptable. I had a tech out twice for water leaking from my furnace (2 years old under warranty). My furnace was working fine at the time other than leaking some water. The second time the tech worked on my furnace something occurred that caused it to leak worse and the needed part was not available. The solution was to turn off my furnace. I have now been without heat for a week. I have called to check on the status of the part. My message gets sent to dispatch and then I hear nothing back. Meanwhile I'm running space heaters (provided by them) non stop to keep my family warm and prevent pipes from freezing all while my electric bill climbs higher and higher.

Our furnace went out on a Sunday. Dustin answered our emergency call for service. He spent a good amount of time inspecting our system before determining we had a major problem requiring a new system install. He was courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and competent. He also went out of his way to help us. One of the ways he helped was to connect us with Brad who left home on a Sunday afternoon to come share the options we had for a new furnace. We got the order placed with an installation set for Tuesday unless they could get us into the schedule Monday. Sure enough, I got a call at 7:30 a.m. Monday letting me know they would arrive shortly. Zach and Ryan were congenial and polite and jumped right into the task of installing the new furnace. They were friendly and efficient, answered all our questions, and were extremely competent. Their installation went above and beyond the basic requirements and the quality of their work is obvious. They even fixed at no extra charge some PVC pipe issues that were part of the air conditioner. Their clean up of the work area left it spotless. We love the new furnace and now are loyal customers of Vredevoogd Heating and Cooling!

I received a call back very quickly after my initial call. Inspection on my furnace was very thorough and my options were explained to me in layman’s terms that were clear and understandable. Steve came out to do a repair on our furnace on a Sunday and was here within an hour of our call. He couldn't do the repair because of a faulty part on it by the manufacturer. He advised us of our options to get the furnace replaced and got us on the schedule within 2 days and left us some space heaters to use until then. Tech came out same day, showed up right on time at the beginning of the arrival window to service our furnace when we were getting everything ready for the cold season. Turns out our furnace was in bad shape and needed replacement. Got an installation specialist to us the next business day. Arrived perfectly on time, spent 4 ours looking into everything and explained all the flaws in our system. Sold us on a stainless unit, got us set up with warranty, service plan, and financing (yes it was $$$$, but peace of mind isn’t cheap). Installation team came 2 days later and spent all day installing the new unit, testing, tweaking, and did a great job. The areas they worked in were cleaner when they left than when they arrived. This company has been great! I used them for repairs, and they were very reasonably priced, gave me different options that could work within different price ranges. I eventually had to replace my furnace all together and had no doubts about using them. They gave me different options of furnaces and through a state wide low interest financing I am only paying about $60 a month in payments which made it affordable and stress free to replace it. Definitely recommend! They’re one of those repair companies where if something goes wrong I don’t feel stressed and freaking out. I’m confident in their help.

I remembered the name of the company from the commercials on TV. I did a Google search and found out that they are one of the few companies that are open after normal business hours and weekends. I called them immediately. The representative on the phone led me through a series of questions to make sure it wasn't something like a blown breaker or that the furnace wasn't accidentally switched off. When that wasn't the problem a technician was dispatched. I think from the time I called them and the time the tech arrived it was less than 30 minutes. I was surprised because this was on a Saturday afternoon. The tech was professional. He did a series of checks and the repair was done quickly. He gave me some tips on how to maintain my furnace with checkups. The price was great considering that it was an emergency. I would use this company again.

In mid September when it was a 80 degree week, our A/C went out on a Saturday late afternoon. We called and they immediately sent out out a tech who said we needed to replace our furnace, it was original to the house and that our a/c unit outside had some life left in it but would need to be replaced in the near future. He was super awesome and pleasant to work with and seemed very genuine. They were able to send a sales rep out on Sunday afternoon and he was also great and honest with what he thought we needed and what he thought we could live without. We ended up replacing both the furnace and a/c unit due to both being 20 plus years old. Three guys came two days later and installed everything. They were unbelievably kind and walked through all the changes and answered our questions. Synopsis of the story, is everyone we worked with or talked to were great and the whole process was easy and convenient. Highly recommend.

Customer support was really nice, on call tech was super helpful and walked us through checking all potential self solvable problems before having to send on call repair. Our on call repair guy was very kind and on time. It's unfortunate I didn't notice that they didn't service manufactured homes, so our on call repair guy alerted us to that upon arrival and unfortunately couldn't help us. They were several thousand higher than every quote we received. It wasn’t even remotely close. They were quick, professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. We have utilized Vredevoogd Heating and Cooling since moving to this area in 2017. Because the heating and cooling units in our new home were older, and we planned to be away from our home in the winter, we wanted to ensure that our old system would continue to operate while we were away. We chose to become members of Vredevoogd's Maintenance Club to give us this peace of mind. As a result of their annual monitoring, we were able to optimize the longevity of our system and receive forewarning when our AC unit was on it's last leg. It came as no surprise when our AC unit would turn on when we returned to MI. this spring. Due to our membership status, Vredevoogd was able to send out a technician that same week. He was able to cobble up a repair but said we needed a new fan motor. He recommended that we follow up with their salesman to review our cost options between repairing or replacing our existing unit/system. This would allow us to make an informed decision. The cost of his visit would then be taken off our total bill once we completed this work. Given the age of our equipment, we decided to replace both our AC and furnace. Our membership provided a substantial saving on our new system and gave us priority status in scheduling our new system. Their installation crew was wonderful. They arrived on time, worked hard throughout the day without break and left our home in good order. We a very happy with the services with receive from Vredevoogd Heating and Cooling and would highly recommend this company to our family and friends.

This was a big job: Installation of central air in a 66-year-old house that has forced-water heating (i.e., a boiler) and therefore had no ducts for AC. I brought in 5 different companies to get bids. Paul from Vredevoogd was the fourth. He was meticulous in his analysis of the space, the kind of equipment that would be needed (and where it would need to go), where the vents and returns would need to go, and how to route the ducting in the basement. He explained things clearly and accessibly and even drew sketches to show me how it would work. He also went over the company's service and warranty programs (which are EXCELLENT, by the way) and wrote out a detailed estimate. Of the 5 companies, Vredevoogd stood out for the quality of communication, their service and warranty programs, and their transparency and specificity regarding pricing. I never felt condescended to (as I did by one of the other companies) or pressured. After going over all the quotes and analyzing my options, it was clear that Vredevoogd was going to be the best investment. Theirs was not the rock-bottom lowest price, but it was *far* from the highest, and it was *extremely* competitive with other companies who don't offer the same level of service and warranty protection or the same quality of equipment. This turned out to be a great decision. When I called Paul mid-week to tell him that they got the job, he was able to get me scheduled for the following Monday. (Several of the other companies were three weeks out or more.) It would be a 3-day job, he told me. I understood why it would take that long but was also a little nervous about how disruptive it might be to my household, especially for my two dogs. It turns out I had nothing to worry about. The technicians, Brandon and Todd, were fantastic. They could not have been easier to work with or more professional. If you're going to have technicians in your house for 3 days, I highly recommend these two. They're friendly, smart, kind, and easy going, and best of all, they left no mess whatsoever and even left some areas cleaner than they found them (including the basement, which made my day. OK, week. Month. Year.). They finished the installation yesterday, staying until after 6 p.m. to get it done, and everything looks great and works perfectly. After they tested everything, Brandon walked me through and showed me how it works. (I have to say, the ductwork is a thing of beauty. The company makes their own, which is another point in their favor, and it is all clean lines and shiny perfection. And the guys installed it meticulously with no awkward edges and nothing out of alignment. It looks gorgeous and is fitted beautifully into and along my basement ceiling joists, if ductwork can be said to be gorgeous.) Then, finally, came the time to write that big check. While it is a lot of money, it was (1.) exactly to the penny what Paul said in his original quote that it would be, with no surprises (how often does that happen?), and (2.) an investment that I feel very good about. I tend to agonize over decisions, even long after they've been made and life has gone on. And it is not often that I feel certain that I made the right choice, especially when we're talking about a lot of money and/or other long-term consequences. But everything about this experience, from my first phone contact with the company to Paul's visit to the installation with Brandon and Todd, makes it clear that choosing Vredevoogd was absolutely the right choice. I have not agonized for a second or lost a minute of sleep over this one. In sum: Highest possible recommendation.

New furnace, A/C and humidifier installed today. Cody and Spencer did the install and I signed paperwork with Steve a few days ago. I was impressed with all three. They were quick, professional, explained things clearly and cleaned up. A subcontracted electrician, Eric, installed a new breaker panel and circuit dedicated to the furnace and he was great, too. Vredevoogd has maintained our HVAC for maybe 20 years and when it was time for new stuff I didn't bother getting any other bids.

January 2023 Andrew G. replaced the furnace heat exchangers that were under warranty. During our annual winter furnace tune-up, Andrew discovered several small holes in the old exchangers that were potentially hazardous. He contacted the manufacturer and got the replacements which he installed. It was difficult to pinpoint the exact cause of an irregular furnace shutdown. It took several trips to diagnose and fix the problem. Each time they came, they were professional in every way. Well done!I It's is now late October 2020. It is now COLD. Our furnace was misbehaving (think-no hot air). Andrew came out and expertly diagnosed the problem to be a faulty blower motor...OUCH!
