The hottest days are here and it’s nothing like getting your AC checked to make sure it stays in good working order. Lozier is one of the better AC Companies that stand by their warranties. Even though they have grown from a small local company they still put their customers first. Alvin is one of their best technicians. He listens, is always on time, proficient in his work, and provides helpful tips to make sure your AC stays in tip top condition.

Our central AC unit has been on the fritz for years. After years of battling with the HSA warranty, we finally decided to just purchase one outright. Husband called Lozier and they came out that same day for a consultation. Discussed options and pricing. A week later, our new unit was installed and we are thrilled with the service and the finished product! I didn't catch their names, but the crew was professional, friendly, and efficient! They even cleaned everything up nicely afterwards. Highly recommend Lozier for your heating and cooling needs, thank you!

Drove up from Dallas to West Des Moines Thursday Dec 15th and found a furnace that didn't want to heat the house. The Lennox was saying "C-A-L" so I called Lozier and was serviced Friday afternoon. Good thing too because we had a cold snap just after. Good to see and feel the system running perfectly again because we were nearly freezing Thursday night when we got here. Ten stars out of five!

Bill was very professional and very kind. I called at 3AM because my heat wouldn't stay on in the middle of winter in Iowa. Bill made it out toy home very quickly and listened to what I had to say on what was going on. With that, he got it all fixed very fast and the price was much lower then I was expecting. He gave me great information on what he had to do and what I need to do to keep the problem from happening again. If I ever have issues again, I will be hoping Bill is the one that comes out to help me.

I was in the market for a new furnace, a/c, and a water heater. Ryan is a great salesman. He provided three system options, and explained all of them in detail. I chose a top of the line Lennox SLP99V variable-capacity gas furnace, an EL16XC1 a/c, and an icomfort S30 thermostat. I hit Ryan pretty hard with lots of follow up questions. He always responded within a few hours, and never made me feel like I was an inconvenience (even though I probably was). The guys that did the install were kind and respectful, They worked as a team, at one point there were four guys here. They finished the project in one day. They cleaned up behind themselves and even took extra time to explain some things. Ryan returned at the end of they day to check the finished results and explain the thermostat. These guys know what they are doing, and it was obvious they cared about their workmanship. My first utility bill after the new a/c was $38 less than the month before, and $41 less than the same billing period last year. If you are looking to replace your furnace, a/c and or water heater, give Ryan a call. He’s a good guy.

Pros: - Quick response - Reasonable initial service fee - Problem was correctly identified Cons: - Poor quality of work. The wiring loosened and the propeller began to touch the wires. I was lucky, it did not cut them. See the image. - High price for parts. I paid for the electric motor about 3 times more comparing to amazon price. I understand it is same day service, but I think double price would be reasonable.

We got home from work to find our A/C not working. One phone call to Lozier, and less than 30 minutes later the tech was at our home. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes and we had our comfort level restored. You pay a little more for after hour repair, but when it's 90 degrees out, it's totally worth it.

Very happy with Lozier. We took 4 total bids on replacing our AC/Furnace, and Fred from Lozier was one of two reps of companies that informed us our current AC location was not up to code. This transparency helped make our decision. Technicians Jeremie, Jeff, and Pete came out and did an excellent job installing a new AC, furnace, and water heater. They maximized our space and made our utility room less clunky. In addition, all parties did a good job walking me through the new equipment and thermostat. We appreciate the hard work and diligence to install after the derecho when a lot of work was needed a lot of places. Would definitely recommend this service.

Our furnace broke down on a Saturday night - we had a technician from another company come in the morning and they said we needed a new induction motor - which needed to be ordered. We were looking at multiple days without heat, in January, in Iowa. Not good. So I started calling around (on a Sunday) to see if a motor could be found locally. Multiple companies were unable to help. Then we were connected with a Lozier technician named Shawn. He was awesome and found the motor locally, picked it up, and had it quickly installed. What we were told by other companies would be multiple days without heat, turned into awesomely warm air flowing from our vents again with Lozier. 24 hours without heat was enough and Shawn with Lozier gave us the service and fix we were hoping for!

Extremely pleased, highly recommend! My furnace went out 2 days before extreme temps were expected (20+ below zero). We contacted them on a Sunday and they came the same day. They were only able to implement a temporary fix but we're able to come back before the storm hit and install a new unit. We had them replace the furnace, hot water heater, and air conditioning unit (still coming) since all were over 20 years old. Our rep did an excellent job at reviewing the best options for our house and breaking down the pricing as well as finding all available rebates. On the day of the replacement, the team arrived on time and worked tirelessly throughout the day. They were very respectful and reviewed everything when the work was complete. We knew our system was long overdue to be replaced so we had called Lozier for an estimate. Several months later, we woke up to a very cold house and called them to see if they could fit us in. They came out in under 2 hours and had us back up in 45 minutes. We ultimately decided we needed a completely new system though. Their team fit us in 2 days later because they were afraid our old furnace wouldn't cut it through this coming cold front and they didn't want us to be without heat. They were incredibly efficient and professional. Even our dog loved them! We will absolutely return to them for routine maintenance.

Ryan was very professional and fair. He did a great job. The service tech that came and offered a quote to fix the furnace was the same. The installers were very nice and did a fantastic job too. The other company that we almost went with wanted to charge 3,000 for a heat exchanger and Lozier stated it would be about 400-600. Could not remember. Also the other company wanted to charge 9,600 for a Tempstar unit which I thought was crazy. Lozier installed a high quality Lennox system for more than 2,000 dollars less than that. Still a little pricey..but definitely fair. Lozier is a good, honest company. That is how contractors should do business. I would like to say something else I liked about Ryan. He provided the quote and left...no high pressure sales tactics. That is the way it should be.

I called Lozier on a Friday, Ryan came to our house Friday afternoon, on the following Tuesday we had our new heating/cooling system installed. Joe, Jeremy and another I can't remember his name were great!! They showed up at the time they said they were going to, they cleaned the area up that they worked in, answered all my questions and made sure I was completely satisfied before they left, and they had the work done and walked through it with me well before they said they would. Ryan came back and completely went through the thermostat settings with me, did a complete walk through checking out the work and making sure there were no tools or garbage left behind. EVERY single person that I had contact with was professional and extremely easy to work with and more importantly they listened to what we wanted and did everything on their end to give us just that!!! I called two different times to get a quote for a whole home humidifier. I asked whether it was a manual or automatic. I was given a price (which I was fine with) and told it would be an automatic humidifier. Now I’m not the most knowledgable person when it comes to whole home humidifiers, but after about a week I realized I was having to adjust this way more than I thought I would. I did some research and looked up the model number they installed and found out they installed a manual one. This is absolutely ridiculous. At no point during the call or install did anyone tell me this is a manual unit. I will be contacting them in the morning to see what their response is. I will update my review depending on their answer. I only went with them because their pricing was cheaper than anyone else I had gotten a quote from. Either I was given the wrong information over the phone that they would be installing and automatic unit or the installers simply installed the wrong one.... EDIT* Lozier contacted me within probably 10 hours of leaving the review promising to make it right. They scheduled a tech to come out the next week (today) to fix it. He showed up on time and changed out the manual with the automatic unit. I understand mistakes can happen and I really appreciate that they were quick to make it right!

Quick visit, excellent service, kinda spendy: Furnace went down overnight so I called and set up an appointment at 8 am. The tech, Cody, made it to my place at about 11:30. He was polite, professional, and wore PPE, which I appreciated considering the covid situation. In about 5 minutes he had diagnosed my furnace with a problem high limit switch (I guess these are very finicky on Bryant/Carrier units). The switch was removed, cleaned, and reinstalled, which restored proper furnace function. I could have called Lozier to have someone walk me through doing this myself but didn't feel like messing around with it. The whole visit took about 15 minutes total and cost me $111. Seems kind of steep to me. $89 for a 5 minute diagnostic and and extra $22 for the 5 minute repair. I know the techs don't set the prices, just glad it wasn't something serious. Don't get me wrong, the service was great. Cody was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. He even gave me some great advice on things to check in the future, and about the calcium buildup on my filter from our ultrasonic humidifier. Guess you pay for premium service.... Maybe Lozier could rope the repair cost into the "diagnostic fee" if it takes the tech less than 15 minutes to do. Just a suggestion.

Ryan, our salesman, was courteous, knowledgeable, listened well and explained his recommendations in an understandable manner. We had to call him the day after the install due to a glitch. He answered our call at 8:30 at night and walked us through how to fix it quickly. Very customer service oriented. Our install crew, Joe and Collin, did a nice job as well. They were clean and efficient. They also answered our questions and were very friendly. Overall we had a great experience with Lozier and Lennox. Scott was the Lozier Sales Representative I was working with. He was very knowledgeable and after listening to my needs and wants in an air conditioning / heating system, he presented me with options. Once I decided on which option I thought fit best, he ensured that everything went smoothly, from scheduling the installation to pulling the permit and setting up the date and time for the inspector. Additionally, he showed me how to setup the Lennox S30 thermostat and answer any additional questions I had. He was a true professional. Lozier technicians Jeff and Jeremie were assigned to install my new Lennox air conditioner and furnace. To start with, they made a very good team. They both were very professional in all aspects of the job. They put down tarps to ensure my wood floors were not damaged, the stairwell to the basement was protected and the basement laminate floors were also protected. Both Jeff and Jeremie were very knowledgeable and I could tell they took pride in doing an excellent job. Additionally, they had a great deal of “attention to detail” for little things that I never considered. Examples of this was the way Jeremie routed the a/c lines from the a/c to the furnace were routed. He did it in a way to make sure they were very neat and somewhat hidden. Jeff also changed the gas shut-off valve to one that can be opened or closed without the need of a wrench.They made sure everything was installed as it should be. When the installation was completed, their cleanup of the area was also excellent. Overall, this was an outstanding experience. I would recommend Lozier Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for a new system.

Great service on a furnace motor going bad. It didn’t seem an emergency quite yet, but the service technician on call reached out to make sure. The next morning, I had a tech on the way before 0730. My family welcomed a new baby last fall and was in need of a new air conditioner when temperatures started getting warmer much earlier this year! We called Scott McDowell to come out and quote us for a new unit! He was so polite and very easy to work with! He was very thorough in describing what they had to offer and used terms we would understand! Don't know where to begin. Had our air conditioner go out and called Lozier whom we had come out in December to do maintenance on our heater. Made service call after hours to try to get us up and going. We were informed that we needed to replace the entire unit (heater/air conditioner). It was about 17-18 years old. Scott McDowell gave us a quote and within days we are back up and running. He has kept in close contact with us during this entire ordeal, making sure everything was done accordingly. His workers worked hard getting the job done fast and efficient. We are cannot thank you enough Scott, for all you have done. This was truly an amazing experience and wonderful customer service all around. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work. My water heater went out over the weekend. I had a great experience last year when they came out and repaired my AC so I called them again not knowing if they work on water heaters. They told me they do work on them so I had the diagnostic tech come over. He was there quickly and diagnosed the problem in less than 10 minutes. He said they could repair the defective igniter but pointed out the water heater was 22 years old and well past it's prime. I decided to replace it with a new one and he put together the invoice amount. The price was less than I thought it would be so I asked if it could be done the same day. After receiving bids and selecting Lozier H&C to install a new unit in my mother's town home, of course a heat wave kicked in and their installation schedule was very full. I'm out of state but called Lozier to see if they could do anything with the existing AC to nurse it along until the installation date of the new unit. Day 6 Bill came back and installed the same thermostat the day 4 tech said was the wrong one. I had the feeling they weren't being straight with me. In August of 2018 we realized we had a need for a replacement heat pump. We had contacted Lozier Heating and Cooling for repairs on a 16 year old Lennox unit; their technician, Mike Britson, made a sincere effort in attempting repairs but it was determined a replacement was a better choice then the expensive repairs that would have been required. Mike was, fortunately for us, able to make the heat pump work enough to "get us by" long enough to make a rational choice for a new unit. Two very qualified companies were contacted in addition to Lozier; and all three companies proposed replacement equipment that was comparable to one another. Ryan Zadow was the contact with Lozier. He was very helpful in proposing equipment and answered all questions asked. Ryan agreed, as was mentioned during the service work, that the new equipment cost would be reduced by the cost of the service work. This reduction (including rebates from Lennox and MidAmerican Energy) and Ryan's other efforts all resulted in their price being very competitive to that of the two other companies contacted. In addition, Ryan was the only person contacted who was able to furnish a reference for the heat pump that was installed; one company said they tried and the other seemed uninterested. And Ryan provided full clarification on our questions on the proposal he submitted. Choosing Lozier turned out to be a very comforting choice. The installation was completed in a very satisfactory manner. We were initially contacted to confirm the time and date for the installation. The technicians were polite, placed drop cloths down to protect the carpeting, and it was noted the team all worked very well together. The lead technician was very helpful in giving me instructions in operating and maintaining the new equipment. Ryan stopped in at the beginning to ensure all work was going satisfactorily, and actually provided some assistance. Once the equipment was all installed and verified as operating correctly, all debris was picked up and removed with the area left clean. Ryan stopped later again to ensure we were okay with the work and provided additional instructions pertaining to the MidAmerican Energy rebates. We have now had use of the Lennox XP25 heat pump for about a week. The equipment is all operating as Ryan and the installing technicians indicated it would. And when out of town, we were able to monitor the inside temperature of the house and then adjust the temperature up during our return trip back, all via our smart phone. We are very satisfied that we chose Lozier Heating and Cooling to replace our heat pump with a new Lennox heat pump, and are comfortable that the unit will heat and cool our house for many years to come.
