Bobbie did a great safety inspection on the whole house electrical system. It’s our first home and we wanted to ensure the system was safe. He found ungrounded outlets and replaced those for us. He also replaced the old bathroom fan with a nice quiet one and made sure it was venting correctly. I loved working with him!

My furnace went out in the middle of the December polar freeze. I have American Home Warranty insurance. After being on hold with them for over 5 hours total from 12/23-12/25 where they were not able to provide service with their contracted companies in the area, I was finally given permission to go with an outside contractor. I am a member of the Lazer Maintenance program, so called them on 12/25 to arrange for a service call. They arrived promptly the morning of 12/26 and quickly diagnosed the problem and proceeded to give an estimate for the work that I needed to forward to the home warranty company for approval. The technicians were professional, efficient and very helpful with information to provide the warranty company for reimbursement. I highly recommend Lazer Home Services!

I had outlets installed in my garage for a new deep freeze and additional plug ins. Chance was awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable, provided a quote and answered all my questions. After requesting an appointment online he was here the next day for the quote and only a few days later to complete the work. I did have a defective outlet, but as soon as a problem was identified he was here fixing it. Definitely recommend and will be using Lazer for any future needs.

The staff we've dealt with from Lazer have been really great so far. Second review: This time around Jerry came out to perform maintenance on our system. He was professional and explained things well. First review: Ran a dedicated 50 amp line to a 240v plug in the garage for an EV charger. While more expensive than we'd planned for (sign of the times I guess) they were inline with others. Bobby was very professional, helpful, attentive, and did a great job. We'd definitely use them again, and will.

We are brand new homeowners of an old home, and knew that we needed to have our 16 year old furnaces (two of them!!) serviced immediately, as the last recorded maintenance was quite a few years ago. Lazer Home Services responded before any other companies in the area, and I was able to make an appointment ASAP. Our technician, Keaton, was efficient and knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions about our situation. He made recommendations based on his own expertise (such as considering installing a humidifier for dry Midwest winters and how often we should be changing out our air filters), and was friendly and personable on top of everything else! We couldn't be any more satisfied with the quality of service we received, at a very competitive price, in and out in less than an hour. Thank you so much for sending Jerry McGuire today. He was very helpful and caring about our special needs Granddaughter that has seizures from the heat. He got our air-conditioning up and running until we can have a new system installed next Tuesday. It is Friday and 4th of July is Monday!!!! I don't know how I was going to keep all of us cool,3 handicap people 2 elderly and our 3 precious little fur babies .we are on a Fixed Income and it's hard to have such a big ticket item that needs to be done. Jerry McGuire explained everything to me, and even though my Husband was hear ,he didn't make me feel like I was not just the wife and husband makes all decisions!! Not true in this house!!! The entire team at Lazer Home Services were extremely helpful and responsive when our 24yo furnace finally decided to stop working on one of the coldest days of the year. WARNING!!! They will charge you for just coming out to give you an estimate. Edit: The service manager contacted me back and made things good for the misunderstanding. While I would give them 5 stars for their professionalism and customer service, I can't quite carry that forward overall because of charging just to give estimates. The only thing I could recommend for him it to get some larger jeans, them skinny jeans have to get uncomfortable in the summer heat. Air condition was running not very well for a couple of days shut it down for 24 hours try to turn it back on did not come on. Call your Service and had somebody here within the hour Jerry was very kind was very good at explaining things we determined that the blower motor was out of my furnace after discussing options of a new furnace and new air-conditioning I really couldn’t afford that I was not forced to make that purchase and instead Jerry changed the blower motor and got my air condition up and running I am very happy with your service and I will continue to use the service for the extent that I’m in my house thank you very much and Jerry is awesome Thanks Russ Reber

Lazer was excellent, fast, and very professional. My sewer main was plugged/backing up. As most would agree this was somewhat of an emergency situation. I spent awhile calling around and was met with rude and impatient receptionists and no luck scheduling for at least a week. Until I called lazer, I felt very important and the woman spoke to me as if I was a number one customer. I was scheduled for the next morning and was even able to schedule Nick, an electrician, for a quote on some repairs during the same time. He was very kind and professional. Dave, the plumber, was fantastic as well. Very professional and made an effort to save me money. I’m impressed with the service of Lazer overall. I never felt pushed to spend any money not needed. I made sure to get business cards to recommend Lazer to anyone I can. Well done.

We experienced a backed up sewer and called Lazer Home Services and Dave, our service tech arrived the same day and was very thorough in his explanation, exploration and evaluation. He gave us several options, along with the price break down and the one we chose was to allow the backed up water in the lines to drain and Dave was willing to come back on a Saturday to take care of it for us along with his co-worker AJ. They got the job done efficiently and I highly recommend their services.

Caleb was fantastic to work with and I appreciated his great customer service! He actually listened to me and what I explained I had already done to diagnose my drain problems leading me to believe it was a clog in my vent stack. Previously I had another company come to look at the issue and they told me it most likely wasn’t that and did work I had already told them I did so it did not help or fix the problem. Caleb came back a second time in the same week to unclog the vent stack after the weather was uncooperative the first time to get on the roof. The water that was sitting in my sink drain is finally gone! Very happy I went with Lazer Home Services for my home service!

My 22 year old furnace decided to die on the last cold burst (hopefully) of the winter season. It was making some loud squealing noises and also sounded like a soft helicopter. Keaton, the repair technician, provided me options for the repair, which was quite costly, and given the age of my full HVAC system, I opted to replace. My furnace ended up not working by 6pm the same night so I am glad I had already discussed the replacement options. Keaton went over my 3 options for installs and was kind and courteous in all of his interactions with me. The installation happened THE NEXT DAY, to my surprise! The installation went smoothly and no issues!

Dave came to snake my floor drain, was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and respectful of the house and our dog. 100% would recommend to friends/family (and he fixed our clogging issue). Cole and Jerry came to install new duct work for the furnace and water heater and saved me a heap of money by fixing a CO2 back flow issue without having to replace the water heater. Again, they were respectful of my house and things, jovial, had the job done quick and clean. Excellent service.

Great service start to finish! Very transparent about diagnosing the problem and providing options/costs of options before performing work. Very customer service oriented and felt like they put the customer first. It was my first time using them and a friend highly recommended them to me in a time of immediate needs with a frozen/burst water pipe when it was 20 below zero wind chill. They said they rely on referral business as opposed to heavy advertising as their reputation builds business - its a good strategy as they earned me as a customer and future referral source as well. Cole and Cole came out quickly, were extremely nice and explained everything to me so I felt comfortable with the root cause of my AC issue, how they needed to repair it, and what we could do to potentially prevent issues in the future. They were also kind enough to explain some things about my HVAC system as we just moved in and I was unfamiliar. I signed up with their monthly service, as I really feel like this company is knowledgeable, helpful, and was not trying to squeeze and extra buck out of me (so to speak). I am blanking on the name of the kind woman I spoke to on the phone yesterday to schedule the services, but she was amazing, helpful, and again kind. I know it has to be busy, so the fact that the company was able to come out next day and help us was awesome (I was really scared it’d reach 100F with no AC!) Overall, the company was fabulous and made the stress of moving into a brand new house with something so critical going out suddenly much less stressful. I’d highly recommend them! I had a fantastic experience today with Lazer and their technician, Eric, who found and fixed the electrical issue at my home. I wasn't sure if the problem was with the wiring or at my oven, but when Eric showed up (right on time!), he listened to what happened and was thorough in checking out everything that could have been the issue before making a recommendation based on his findings. He gave me different options for moving forward and then shared his recommendation for the first step, which did fix the issue. Eric was very professional and friendly and great to work, and the staff in the office was wonderful too, keeping in contact with me to get someone out as soon as possible. I would highly recommend Lazer for any electrical service needed! I want to add my electrical service review (above, from December 2016) as I had a plumbing repair need last week (May 2017). Jake was out at my house soon after the customer service representative called to say that he was on his way. The leak that had started from the tank on the toilet did not restart once I turned the water back on to the tank, but once I explained where the issue was, Jake quickly and thoroughly explained what he thought the issue could be and gave me different estimates for different levels of repair. We took the conservative route that there was an issue with a seal and as soon as he took the seal out, we could clearly see where it was not set right and was causing the occasional leak. Once that issue was tackled, Jake also checked out a different plumbing issue that was not planned for, gave me different options and stayed to fix and replace this unexpected issue so that I didn't have to be at my house two different days with different service calls. Great customer service and friendly experts who explain an array of different options make working with Lazer (for electrical and now plumbing) an easy and positive decision.

He checked the whole system and found my water heater was in it’s last stages of life so he got me a quote and we decided to go ahead. I was experiencing issues with my furnace and when I placed the call I was so happy they could come out the same day as I was supposed to fly out the next day. My it has been such a month. We started by finding water standing in the kitchen. This is when we first met Nate from Lazer. He found we had a cascade of failures up to and including a new disposal. At that time, we got signed up for their partnership program, and set it up for Amber to set up plumbing, electrical, and plumbing inspections. They come with the membership. We ended up having two electricians out. Both were professional and explain what we needed, what we could do, and what would we be able to do and not break the bank. Which is good because the water heater was not going to last until October (when we planned our next big investment.) Nate worked out a estimate with a couple options. We went with the full boat, water heater, furnace, AC with humidifier and conditioner rolled in. He found us financing and a coupon, not to mention the discount for being a partner. Within a week we had Nate, George, and Michael and their helpers in. They cleaned up everything, explained it all, laughed at our cats, and made us feel comfortable and confident with our choices. Nate assured us we can go with either the kitchenette upstairs or the powder room downstairs next, especially if we bake more cookies.

Update: Just awesome. Nate and Bob came out with our service subscription with Lazer Home Services. Both arrived on time with notifications they were coming including pictures of themselves. They took their time and looked everything over. There were a couple issues they found and fixed them or recommended soltuions for us to do ourselves. Christmas Eve day our dishwasher died. We ordered a new one that was to be delivered today. When the installer arrived today they said the valve under the sink was not working properly. It was 3 o'clock on a Thursday as I was having a bath remodel done before my fiancé returned home as she was flying in from business and knew nothing about the remodel that was going on. While getting an exhaust fan installed it was deemed that the previous home owners rigged the electric so it wouldn't work with the new equipment. I called my brother in law and he recommended me to call Amanda at Lazer Electric. I called and spoke to a Lindsay who was very professional and she transferred me to Amanda whom was very professional and empathetic on the phone with me. Working in the service industry that isn't always easy to find. She explained their trip fee and how they operated with no surprises. Seeing the time crunch I was in she had someone to my home within the hour. A gentleman named Eric showed up. He wore booties in my home so he didn't track around the house, he assessed the whole situation, gave me an upfront price and what needed to be done. He was very friendly as well. You never know who you're going to get into your home and I'm very happy with the person that was sent. He did a great job and showed me what he had done. He cleaned up his mess as well. Laser wasn't able to better the installation cost for another HVAC/Plumbing company that I used in the past. So chose not to use them. I think all companies are charging way more than they should for this particular job, which should only take them total 2 hours max. This was a simple install to replace an existing 10 year old water heater. Same size and inlet/outlet fittings. This is not a dig on Laser, but rather the industry. All estimates were charging way more than I felt they should.

This morning, I noticed some issues with the toilet in the basement not flushing correctly. To my surprise, when I went into the laundry room next door, I noticed we had a decent amount of sewage back-up from our floor drain. I called Lazer and they had originally said they couldn’t get someone out here for 3 days. Thankfully, I received a call from Mike 30 minutes later saying he could be at my house in 15 minutes. Sure enough, he arrived when he said he would. Mike was able to get the drain flowing again and provided instruction for how to clean up, as well as what steps I should consider for maintaining a healthy floor drain. I was extremely impressed wit the service I received from Jason N. And Walter. They got to work straight away. When we opened the new water heater (we bought from home depot) it was severely damaged. They recommended we return it and get another. They waited patiently while I discussed the matter with home depot and Jason even talked to customer service. Edit a week later: After finding out my toilet had been scratched, Bob from Lazer called me today and was very very professional and a great guy. They are going to make right with me and come out to install a new BETTER toilet FREE of charge. This says a lot about this company and how much they value customer satisfaction which is much appreciated. This 5 star company I will recommend to anyone. I still am going to keep the review below so they can maybe make some changes to keep customers more informed. First review from March: Google states they are open until 8pm. This was the main reason I called them since it was 3:30 and needed same day service. When I called back to get some info on pricing at around 6 I got an answering service that said they are only open until 5. The same exact thing happened about 6 months ago and I called a 24 hour plumber who came out at 2am and that was around $175 with after hours fees. I called and spoke to receptionist, who was very professional, to have a plumber come out. Was advised of the service fee which I was fine with. I asked her for an estimate to which she said she did not know. I told her as long as it wasn’t like $200 I wouldn’t mind. She said she did not think it would be that much. After a longer wait than anticipated the plumber showed up. Jason was very professional and proceeded to tell me about the 3 options they had. I chose the very basic one. He went down with a tool and fixed the problem. After he was done I thought he said $150 (my fault) but it was $240. Jason is a great guy, very professional, but he scratched the porcelain at the bottom of my toilet (accidents happen). This left a big black scratch that is not going anywhere after scrubbing for 10 minutes. Since there are 3 options to choose from with set prices, it would be very helpful for the receptionist to know this and give you an estimate based on what you need done. *Again, they have gone above and beyond for me and are going to install a brand new toilet FREE of charge. What a great service provided during a difficult family time. We are in the process of selling my deceased father's home and we found the bathroom sink was clogged. Amanda did an excellent job of coordinating and working with me to ensure the job was scheduled and ready to go. She was always professional and provided excellent customer service. Amanda let me know the approximate time Jake, the plumber, would arrive at the house. Lindsay called about 15 minutes before the scheduled time and said Jake's other job was taking a little longer. She estimated the time Jake would then arrive. That extra bit of service from Amanda and Lindsay was appreciated for my personal time schedule. When Jake arrived, he apologized for being a little later than originally scheduled. He got right to work and found the drain was not only clogged but the pipes to the bathroom vanity were installed incorrectly. Our 15 minute job turned into a 2 1/2 hour job. Jake walked me through what he was doing the entire time. He was very professional. When Jake was done and resealing the vanity to the wall, it looked better after he was done than when it was originally done two years ago. He did a great job!!! What an asset these employees are to the company. I would highly recommend this company to my family and friends. You couldn't ask for better service.

We moved around several outlets and made a few last minute changes which Bob was very flexible to handle. The work looked clean and functions great. Dave did all of our plumbing, he was able to resolve several functional issues we had with our existing plumbing and did a nice job moving our toilet and sink in our bathroom remodel. Amazing customer service! On Friday afternoon, right before we were scheduled to leave on vacation, I found a pool of water under my kitchen sink. I called Lazer and they had a plumber there within the hour. He found it was the garbage disposal. It was leaking from the bottom and it had to be replaced. I asked if he could replace it right then, and he he said he could. He gave me six different estimates depending on what type of disposal I wanted installed. As soon on agreed on the one I wanted, he had it installed with a half hour. I was impressed and so appreciative that Lazer understood my situation and quickly remedied it. I had some issues after buying a foreclosed house badly in need of repair. As I discovered new problems, I had to call Lazer several time. Amanda, the dispatcher, was really sympathetic to my situation and my busy work schedule and she helped find time to squeeze in visits. Amanda made sure I kept getting the same plumber as the process continued so that we didn't have to re-explain the state of the progress and next steps. When Maddie came, she really listened to my plans for my house and gave me feedback and suggestions on how to keep costs down and get the job done properly. Maddie was also available electronically so it was easy to ask what new hardware I needed to buy so she could quickly install it the next day. Maddie also took extra steps to make sure the work was successful. She fixed and refitted pipes that weren't as secure as they could be for both my gas, water lines and drains. It was nice knowing that someone was paying attention to details and would either fix any new issues that arose during the process or let me know so I could make an educated decision. I will be using Lazer in the future for plumbing needs and eventually, when the time comes, my electrical updates as well.

Keith Bark was great! Friendly, fast, and was so thorough that he found a second GFI outlet that needed to be replaced even though we thought only one was faulty. He went through all of our outlets and tested each one, showing me the results on those that were faulty. Both outlets took him only 10 minutes to replace and he cleaned up the area when he was finished. He was in and out in under an hour, I would recommend his services to anyone looking for electrical inspections and/or repairs. 5-star service, we'll be using Lazer and Keith for future electrical needs.

We needed a breaker replaced in our electrical panel, because it kept tripping and shutting off the power to a waterfall pump in our small pond. A friend tried to convince us to do the work ourselves, and he even pulled the defective breaker from the panel, but we decided it would be better if the house didn't burn to the ground. We couldn't even get the defective breaker back in the panel correctly! We called Lazer and their service tech, Nick, arrived promptly on the promised day and time. He did a quick inspection of our troubles and efficiently replaced the breaker.
